The Beginning of a Long Voyage

Izumi stood at the entrance to the Black Spiral Staircase early one peticular morning, her medium-sized treasure bag hanging from her neck as per usual. The Black Spiral Staircase lead straight to the very peak of Black Mist Mountain, the place she and her sister Tsukishiro called home. She and her sister were leaving for a new town that day, but first Izumi wanted to procure a certain item from the mountain's peak. The Black Mist's most sacred and valuable treasure. Or, in any case, it was valuable to them. Izumi had no clue how much the item was actually worth, she wasn't even sure if it existed. But she was sure as heck she was going to find out. She waited patiently for her sister to join her at the gaping entrance to the inside of the mountain.

Tsukishiro cautiously followed her sister, hanging a few pawsteps behind Izumi as she kept a constant look out for enemy Pokemon. She heard her sister's whispers but didn't reply as she didn't want to sound too worried about the rustles she kept hearing or the little pieces of rock that kept falling and causing echoes to bounce around.
All of a sudden Tsukishiro froze. She had heard footsteps. Footsteps that were distinctly different to hers and Izumi's and were coming from behind her....

Izumi suddenly whirled around to face the space behind she and her sister, where a new set of footsteps was approaching ominously and menacingly. She crouched down and took an offensive pose, bared her teeth, and began to growl at the black space behind them. ".......Show yourself." she growled threateningly through her fangs at the blackness, and waited for a reply from the entity behind them.

Tsukishiro also turned around, quickly covering the weakness of having her back to the enemy.
The Pokemon came out of the blackness, revealing itself as a Bisharp. Unfortunately, Shiro knew next to nothing about Bisharp other than the fact that they were Bisharp and ended up Leering at the Pokemon in an attempt to lower it's defense.

Izumi lept into the air and readied a scratch attack to use on the Bisharp. She wasn't really aiming to cause damage, she just wanted to distract it's attention away from Tsukishiro and get it riled up so that it might attack her directly so that she could possibly use Feint. She scratched him as hard as she possibly could and then landed directly in front of him.

The Bisharp had readied a Fury Cutter attack in response to Tsukishiro's Leer when Izumi had leaped in and used Scratch. He had immediately turned his attention to the older Absol sister and had dived at her, swinging his now glowing-green arms at her in three consecutive swipes.

Whilst the Bisharp attacked Izumi, Tsukishiro crept behind him, hoping to catch the more powerful Pokemon by surprise as she attacked. The scythe shaped appendage on her head glowed white in colour before she also leaped into the fray, using Feint at the Bisharp's back.

The Bisharp was caught by surprised when Tsukishiro attacked him from behind. He stumbled foreword and, while he attempted to regain his balance, Izumi took the opportunity to charge up her Megahorn attack. Her scythe began to glow a white-ish green color and grow in size, although her pack of practice made it impossible to get it to it's full potential. Izumi had sworn that she would perfect the move during she and her sister's travels. Izumi then attacked the Bisharp, putting all the might she could behind the move. She knew that the type advantage coupled with her Super Luck ability could definitely deal some good damage when the attack hit.

The Bisharp attempted to dodge the Megahorn but failed, taking some serious damage from the move. It stumbled back, having not expected such an attack from the Absol. It turned and attempted to swipe at Tsukishiro again but the younger Absol leaped up, her black claws glowing white as she used Scratch. The Bisharp was clearly at a disadvantage at two versus one.

The Bisharp was hit by Tsukishiro's Scratch attack and was knocked over onto the ground. He pulled himself back up off the  ground and slashed Izumi with his Metal Burst attack. He grazed her left shoulder, but Izumi countered with a well-timed Feint attack. It was clear that this battle wouldn't last much longer.

Tsukishiro winced as she saw the Bisharp slash at and hit Izumi's shoulder. She readied her claws for another Scratch attack, hoping to quickly finish up the battle so that they could be on their way.
Shiro used her powerful back legs to propell herself towards the Bisharp, tackling him down to the ground at the same time as using her Scratch move.

Once the Bisharp hit the ground, it was all over. He didn't even have the strength to stay concious anymore. His body fell limp and he slipped into the blackness that was fainting.

"Nice finisher there, Tsukishiro." Izumi grinned as she walked up to her younger sister. She was limping a little because of her shoulder, but it wasn't slowing her down much. "We should be more careful as we moved on, I'd like to get to the peak in one peice." she chuckled.

Tsukishiro nodded, shaking her fur to get any stray dust and rock particles out of it.
"Are you sure you're alright?" she asked, tilting her head slightly to the side as she asked. She glanced back at the Bisharp, still wary of it despite it's now limp form.

Izumi smiled at her younger sister. "Yes, I'm fine. It'll heal over time, just gotta walk it off." she grinned as she started moving again. "Now let's get going, before Sleeping Beauty over there wakes up." she commented as she began to walk onwards.

Chuckling, Tsukishiro followed her sister. They quickly left the defeated Bisharp behind as they advanced towards the mountain's peak. After their success in that battle, Tsukishiro began to day dream about what other things they could accomplish with teamwork. She was so focused on these ideas that she didn't look where she was going and stepped on something blue and round. It rolled from under her foot and sent her flying. Shiro ended up sprawled on the ground with the blue sphere rolling past her. She stretched out a paw from her position to stop it rolling before she got back to her feet.

Izumi stopped in her tracks when she heard the loud noises as her younger sister fell to the ground. She turned back and stood next to Tsukishiro. "Are you alright?" Izumi asked, although she had to stifle back a laugh after seeing the position Tsukishiro had landed in.

Tsukishiro was also finding it hard not to chuckle at herself but she managed to stifle it. She looked at the blue sphere.
"I think it's an orb...." she commented, rolling it towards Izumi to get her sisters opinion on the item.
