Tension! Meeting new faces, saving new faces!

A small otter-like figure walks through the forest slowly, taking his time to survey his surroundings accordingly. The turquoise otter carefully steps from side to side, kind of nervous as this was his first exploration. All on his own, the oshawott fiddles with his scalchop, having a friend would make this a whole lot less scary. He looks around and decides to sit on a large, nearby rock. He looks down at his scalchop and puts it back on his belly where it belongs. Teru strokes his bright blue band around his neck to help calm his nerves, he didn't know what to do.
He wanted to join the guild, but he didn't have a partner to form a team with and he certainly could not deal with being assigned to a team. He definitely called dibs on being a leader, he was a natural born leader he always told himself. He didn't have a partner though, and therefore he was left to explore alone. He was scared, but he told himself he wasn't. "If only I had someone to explore with.." He mumbled to himself.

(I hope this is good, I have a severe lack of confidence.)

He....seems....to...be relying on speed! Nocturna realized.
The only way to fight someone with speed, is either to have greater speed, greater priority, or...to never miss.
Quickly she started a Faint Attack, and the Rattata used Quick attack again. She got hit, but quickly relatated, hitting the little rat. It flew back, then shook his head, and started another Quick Attack, this time trying to hit them both.

Teru slid in front of Nocturna and was about to hold his scalchop up to block the hit, but the rattata was too fast and hit him before he could block the hit. Teru stumbled back a little bit, having no moves with speed prority he was thinking of using air slash but before he could even turn around the rattata hit him with another quick attack, this time in the back.

Quickly while the Rattata hit Teru, Nocturna Faint Attacked the Rattata, causing it to faint from his injurys. Her breath was haggard, but she turned to Teru, "Are you alright?" She asked, even though her head felt light and she was barely on her feet, after the adrenaline (or whatever the Pokemon equilvent is XD) rush faded, she could barely stand. But seeing that the Oshawott saved her, she guessed it was only the right thing to see if her savior was alright.
