Tension! Meeting new faces, saving new faces!

A small otter-like figure walks through the forest slowly, taking his time to survey his surroundings accordingly. The turquoise otter carefully steps from side to side, kind of nervous as this was his first exploration. All on his own, the oshawott fiddles with his scalchop, having a friend would make this a whole lot less scary. He looks around and decides to sit on a large, nearby rock. He looks down at his scalchop and puts it back on his belly where it belongs. Teru strokes his bright blue band around his neck to help calm his nerves, he didn't know what to do.
He wanted to join the guild, but he didn't have a partner to form a team with and he certainly could not deal with being assigned to a team. He definitely called dibs on being a leader, he was a natural born leader he always told himself. He didn't have a partner though, and therefore he was left to explore alone. He was scared, but he told himself he wasn't. "If only I had someone to explore with.." He mumbled to himself.

(I hope this is good, I have a severe lack of confidence.)

Nocturna slowly walked around the berry filled forest. Normally she wouldn't come to this sun speckled forest, but the berry shortage in Shadowhue Forest, caused her to come here to collect berries for her hunger, and for storage. "Wouldn't mind a few extra." She mumbled then glanced up. There was a crystaline pool of water, and she carefully walked over to the natural spring. Nocturna looked down, and saw her reflection. "Weird..." She mumbled, never having the chance to actually see how she looked like before, her shadowy home's water was dark, and had no chance to show how she looked like before. Nocturna studied herself for a few more heartbeats, before lapping up the water, her curiousity fading. But as Nocturna drank, she failed to watch behind her. Suddenly she was shoved into the water and Nocturna heard muffled giggles before her vision went black. A single thought managed to form, I am drowning.

Teru perked up, he heard sounds of water splashing. The splashes were sporadic and uneven, it wasn't the sound of someone playing in the water that's for sure. He jumped off of the rock and ran around the forest for a while. "Hello??" He yelled out. "Who's there? It sounds like someone is in trouble, are you okay?!" Frantically he runs around some more before coming across a spring, and there was a pokemon drowning in it! "I'm coming!" He shouted to the snow white pokemon before jumping into the water and swimming toward her.

Slowly the Absol opened her eyes, to see a dark shape swimming to her. Weakly Nocturna tried to bat the Pokemon away, but just gave up and allowed the Otter shaped Pokemon swim over to her. There was nothing she could do if the Pokemon wanted to finish her off, in fact it would be better if he did. Nocturna closed her eyes and waited for inpending death, to grab her in his arms.

He hesitated as the Absol batted him away, but he didn't stop for long. Teru tried to grab her front legs and pull her to land that way, but the Absol was far to large for him to carry back like that, roughly a whole two feet larger than him. Teru took in a deep breath and swam under her, slowly carrying her back to land. He wouldn't be able to hold his breath forever, and the much larger pokemon was almost impossible to hold up in the water.
Teru didn't want to give up on the pokemon, he didn't want to let the poor Absol drown. There's no way. He'd die first. Teru tried the best he could, he put all of his strength into carrying the Absol, it made his swimming even slower. Running out of air, he struggled to keep moving, but he couldn't just leave her here.

Death didn't come, which confused the Absol. Her eyes opened a crack, and she noticed the land, was getting closer? Her claws seemed to graze the land, which suprised her. What's going on? she thought weakly. Several heartbeats later, her paws reached the sandy ground, and as quickly as she could (Which wasnt very fast) Nocturna's head broke the surface of the water, and she coughed up water, but was alive. Her vision blurred so she couldn't see her savior...

Teru tried his best to get the Absol on land before turning over and floating in the water on his back for a while. He was so out of breath, he flipped back over and dragged himself out of the water. He took a while to try and catch his breath, he was breathing quite heavily for a long while. He looked over at the Absol and tilted his head a little, How'd she get in the water if she couldn't swim?
Teru got up and slowly made his way over to the Absol. "Umm.. Uhh.." He hesitated to say anything, was she in any condition to talk? Instead of saying anything, Teru looked at her and smiled instead, as if to say "It's okay, you're safe now."

Nocturna blinked several times, the light was blinding. After several minutes, when she could see somewhat normally, she noticed a Pokemon in front of her.
"Who....are...you....what....happened?" She mumbled, swaying but staying upright in the water.

Teru perked up at the sound of her voice, he was glad she was okay enough to talk even a little. "I'm Teru!" He responded. "I'm not sure what happened to you.. I was walking through the forest and I heard you drowning so I tried to help you the best I could!". Of course this was his first time talking to someone who didn't regularly visit the farm, he was kind of nervous. He took the scalchop off of his belly and fiddled with it some more.

Nocturna didn't want to fall in the water again, so she crawled on to safe ground.
"I'm...Nocturna........" She started, then laid down,
"I....Thank....you....." Nocturna mumbled,
"I...I...." Suddenly the tiredness left her face momentarily, "Was pushed!" Nocturna realized, her eyes widened.

"Oh, well you're welcome. I couldn't just let you.." Teru jumped back as he listened to her next words. "Pushed?! Who would do such a thing??"
Teru jumped up, ready to teach a few awful pokemon a lesson. "I won't let them get away with this! You could've.. could've.." He pulled away at the thought, but perked up again a few moments after, and held his scalchop up in a rather heroic pose. "I'll definitely take 'em down!" He shouted.

"No.....they are....most...likely...all gone....." Nocturna shook her head. Everything seemed dim when she saw something. Not a berry, not an item. It moved.

This dice is not existing.

"You were supposed to die!" The Pokemon snarled, and attacked Nocturna furriously.

Teru threw himself in front of Nocturna, whipping out his scalchop in air in order to block the attack that was about to hit her.
"Woah!" Teru exclaimed "W-who are you?? Why would you do that?!".
He stared down the purple mouse Pokemon before charging at the rattata, ready to unleash a devastating Air Slash.

(I have finally gotten over my writers/RP block. I feel victorious. Was that good?? D: )

The Rattata hissed, then prepared a bite attack, aiming for the Oshawott.
"Go down then!"

Nocturna recovered slightly, then started up a Feint attack in the ruckus.
"You will not hurt him." She mumbled, then intercepted the attack, hitting the Rattata away from Teru.

The Rattata flew back a little bit at the force of the attack. Teru jumped at this, glanced over at Nocturna before holding up his scalchop ready to unleash Air Slash.
The Rattata got up and looked at them both before running at them both with a Quick Attack.
Teru, not used to fighting, swung down his scalchop surprised at the quickness of the rattata and unleashed Air Slash. Two sharp blades of wind came up on the Rattata, but he easily jumped out of the way with Quick Attack and tackled Teru.
"Ack!" Teru slid back a little bit at the blow, he held onto his scalchop as best he could. Still standing, Teru looked back at the Rattata, who now seemed to be more focused on Nocturna.
