There is a team for everything

It seemed like only yesterday a Kecleon named Yooka arrived at Grassveil Town. Only to find herself within the Guild as a Teammate to a Skitty and an Igglybuff. However, she's also teamed with a sneasel and a drillbur but she never seen either of them. Perhaps, they were on a mission together? Yooka didn't care. It's actually been nearly a week and a half to two weeks and she's only caused trouble for her leader and teammate. She'd be better off without Yooka as a teammate and more of as a friend.

Yooka got off her bed. and slipped on her guild backpack, badge, map, and even the ribbon. Looking into a mirror she asked herself, I'm not leaving her, just going to leave her team and make my own. Not much different considering I even have my own room. Perhaps she would understand. How should I approach Faye about this...? Should I just sneak in and write it without her knowing? no, I think she'd notice and call me out. Should I just wake up Darcy and tell her straight? er... She'd get all sentimental and probably whine about it. especially the igglybuff.....

sighing, She walked over to her door and opened it. looking into the hallway, she noticed only a couple of pokemon were out and about. Mostly nocturnal pokemon. Would Faye even be awake? Perhaps she'd be cranky. I don't think I ever seen her bad side yet... heh, wonder what It would look like.

Walking into the hallway, she moved towards Faye's door only to stop when a Zorua, an odd cubone, and a golden Sableye rushed by seemingly giddy about something. Odd, I never seen them before. must be new recruits... or from someplace else. whatever. Shaking her head, she suddenly had de ja vu. Wait... Do I know them? she paused to look at them again, but they weren't in the hallway anymore. Missed... ... Probably not...

Continuing on, she arrived at Faye's door but was hesitant on knocking... Hopefully, Faye isn't grumpy during the early, early morning. She's more likely asleep and a night shift assistant is probably on duty at this time... She paused, then scratched her chin. ahhhh.... that would suck. She slammed a fist into her other hand. I really wanted to see just how grumpy Faye would be. heheheh. Turning towards the door. she couldn't bring it to herself to knock. It's as if something was holding her back. but what?

It took Yooka a while to think of why she couldn't take it upon herself to knock. Of course. Why does my subconscious self stop me from making my own decisions. Ah, wait... Darcy. Duh... Perhaps I should just leave a letter explaining what I am doing. That way she can't stop me even if she could.

Yooka Hurried back to her room. She didn't even bother to close her door as she quickly looked around for a parchment and writing utensil. Sitting at the same desk where she wrote the little Igglybuff's letter. She rushed another letter, this one addressed to the skitty.

Yooka's Letter wrote:

I guess I cause more trouble then I'm worth. I'm going to make my own team so I can get more acquainted with the Guild without causing your team anymore harm.

Like if for some unforseen event were to happen that would cause me to go rouge. At least I wont have to drag you or anyone else with me. My history isn't as clean as I tried to make it. What happened at my father's place was or is something I cannot explain, lets just say that too isnt clean. I dont know what I saw, did, or what to believe now. I'm just assuming it was a Zoroark because of illusions, but I could also be going insane. I mean I pit alki against her sister knowing full well the consequence... and actually enjoyed it.

Don't speak to anyone about this. I dont know what would happen.
Infact, burn this letter once you read it, as soon as you can... ~Yooka

Folding the Parchment into an Origami Shuriken. She rushed out her room, closing her door quietly and just as quietly opened Darcy's door. Like usual the Sneasel and Drillbur are still not back. The Skitty was asleep on her bed...

Yooka couldn't see the little Igglybuff. Ignoring that, she looked around for the skitty's bag. Finding it located in it's usual spot, she took am with the Parchment and using her shadow as a guide threw it into the bag without noise. Whispering "Yes!" she closed the door.

When Yooka finally stood infront of Faye's door for the second time. she didnt hesitate or anything, she successfully gave the door a few knocks. Then tried to open it, but it was locked. Pshh... figures... well I'm not sneaking in this time... yet. Looking back towards Darcy's room, she contemplated whether or not to sneak in again...

The Guild was awfully silent, its halls empty for the most part. While there always seemed to be someone traversing the various hallways due to the different sleeping patterns of Pokémon, most tended to sleep when it was dark – like now. Faye herself was no exception, lying down peacefully on a bed made of soft straw in her quarters. While anyone who had been to her room during the daylight hours surely hadn't seen a bed there, one of the empty walls actually had a section build into it that could be flipped down and be used as a bed while saving space when it wasn't needed.

The Meganium's back moved rhythmically in the tempo of her relaxed breathing, her eyes closed as she was still deep in a dream. However, a certain odd sound had started to penetrate her mind, her expression growing tense as she stirred slightly. Eventually, it managed to wake her up, her eyes opening as Faye looked around her in confusion. There was no one in her room, and the sun had still to rise. Her room was still dark.

It came from the door. The Guildmaster raised her neck, blinking a few times to try to get the sleep out of her eyes, still in a bit of a hazy stupor. Her reactions were a bit delayed, but finally she understood to open her mouth.
"Ah, just a moment," she called out, pulling her legs underneath her so she could prop up her heavy body onto them, yawning and stretching as she did so. Walking to the door, she unlocked it with a quick move of her vines and opened the door.

Behind the door there was a Kecleon – and not just any Kecleon, but one she knew. One from the Guild, Yooka.
"Oh, good… Morning, sweetie," she started, a bit unsure if this could still be called morning, but it would have to do,
"You're awake early. Is there something I can do?"

After a couple moments of silence Yooka decided to try at the lock. Extending her shadow to meet the lock but, before it could get into the lock, Yooka heard a voice from with-in the room. oh, cripe! Diluting her shadow, she took a step back from the door.

When the door opened she noticed immediately that it was the guildmaster and not a nightshift assistant. How is she so blissful even now...? It just makes me wonder just what her angry side would look like... but not now. Yooka held back a smirk while the Meganium asked what she could do. "I was wondering If I can transfer into a different team. However, that team would be my own." Yooka took a quick glance back towards the skitty's room.

Yooka took it upon herself to enter the room and shut the door behind her, before she continued in a pretty unsure but serious tone, "I believe Darcy would understand my change... probably. well, you see, I sortof pit her, myself, and an igglybuff against a higher ranking team, which happened to be one of the igglybuff's family member... and well." Yooka took a second to compose herself.

She once again continued but instead of unsure she was sure of what she's saying, "I'd like to remove myself from her team, but I'd still would like to remain in the Guild to help her out if she would need it. She paused and scratched the back of her head. "When she wakes up, I'll explain it to her myself, if she wants to know. Again, I think she'll understand. but, uh..." she shrugged and just stared at the Meganium, "I'd like to get it done now, rather than have her sit through this with me. Do you understand...?"

Faye tilted her head slightly as she listened, still a bit sleepy, but she hoped she had heard right at least. It was… A surprising request, to be sure. The Kecleon got right into what her business was – and indeed, it was something Guild-related and not something else that had been troubling Yooka. Faye, of course, didn't know what exactly it was that had happened to cause this request of changing teams, and while she had certainly been there the first time when Yooka and Darcy had a disagreement, it seemed like it had ended alright. Was that still the issue?

The Meganium took a step to the side to allow the smaller Pokémon inside her room so they could have some privacy as they spoke, the door soon closing behind the two. Faye too left the doorway and stepped further into her room, her bed still on the floor with signs of her having slept in it, slightly warm and her weight having left an imprint of packed straw in her shape. As the room was still quite dark, Faye walked over to the curtains to open them up and let some light in, even if the lack of the sun meant not much of it managed to pour in. Still, it was something.

"Ah," the Guildmaster hummed, as if she finally realized something when Yooka spoke of an Igglybuff – one she had a hunch she knew – being put in a fight with a certain family member of theirs. Yes, perhaps the pieces were finally starting to come together here, but it still seemed so… Rash. Looking over her shoulder at the Kecleon before walking behind her desk where she usually stood when handling Guild work, she stayed quiet for a moment as she kept thinking.

"Sweetie, to me, Darcy doesn't seem like the judging sort – I am sure that having a chat with her would solve many of the problems you are currently feeling exist," Faye started, not able to help the feeling that perhaps Yooka was acting a bit fast here, not seemingly having even talked to the rest of her current team about this. Previously, the Kecleon had been quite bold, but… But perhaps she was having a difficult time talking about something like this when it had to do with her. Sometimes it could be so much easier to help others than help oneself, after all.

"I don't think she feels like you have to go. But it is, of course, your decision to choose if you wish to be a part of the Guild and how, so I wouldn't stand in the way if you truly feel like this is the best way to continue. Do you?"

Yooka couldn't help but space out, staring at the floor underneath the Meganium. She was imagining the possible futures that could happen if she decided to follow with this change. She snapped out of it when the Meganium opened a window. The sun wasn't over the horizon but there was indeed light. It's almost time she would wake. I got to decide... What the Meganium mentioned about the skitty just made her feel worse, however she didn't show it. Closing her eyes, she put a hand on her temple and the other under the elbow. She started to ponder for a bit...

I figured... I even asked if she could show me how to potentially be more open towards others... but I don't think I can do it, I mean, I would probably take it seriously... but yet she's pretty, meh... I would probably put too much stress on her... That's started to show during the incident yesterday. hmm... She put her arms down then nodded. "Yes. I'm sure. no need to get the rest of the team involved either, I havent even met Darcy's two other teammates. The uh, sneasel and drilbur... I don't even think they know I joined." She almost chuckled as she continued. "The team name. 'Friendship Alliance' ... ..." She paused and frowned, just for a moment realizing that what she would say would rub off as rude.

She sighed and shrugged as she decided to say it anyway. "It just, doesn't fit my style. It sounds 'too' pretty. Something more like 'K.I.N.' would be..." She started to space out as she perked up. "uh, actually that... would be fine for the name. It could be taken in more then one way." She blinked as she realized she lost track of the subject. Yooka gazed at the Meganium and looked a bit confused. She knelt down infront of the door, facing the Meganium before continuing. "I seemed to have trailed off... uh... ... OH, right." She nodded deeply. "Yea, I'm sure of the change. Do you think you can do it?"

Faye didn't rush the Kecleon as she seemed to get lost in her thoughts. That was good, really – that meant Yooka really was thinking this through instead of just doing the first thing that popped into her head. However, the answer did not change despite what the Meganium had said. Yooka still considered leaving to be the best option – and like Faye had said earlier, she wasn't going to stand in the way of a decision like this. How could she?

Even if one of the reasons was the name of the team. Still, that most likely wasn't the only reason – perhaps it was more of a joke?

"I see.  Yes, in that case, I shall see to having you transferred from one team to another," the Guildmaster nodded, reaching out for the book on the back shelf with one of her vines. It was the same one that already had Yooka's name on its pages, but there was one thing it lacked: Yooka's team.
"I'll handle the official paperwork during the following days, so if you feel like changing your mind, it's still possible without any extra work on anyone's part, dearie. Now… Kay-eye-en?"

Listening to the Meganium speak and watchinh it grab a book containing Guild information, Yooka knew what would happen next. Following the Guildmaster's second set of words. Yooka gave another deep nod. "Aye, the three letters separated by periods." She stood up then gave a bow. "I guess I can take my leave then."

She was about to turn around to leave but she finally noticed the bed in the room. Was that always in here? ah... so I did wake Faye? Well that would explain the lack of light in the room... Yooka sighed quietly spacing out at the floor infront of her, then looked at the door before looking at the Meganium. "I also should apologize for waking you so early. It was a bit rude of me to do this, considering how busy you tend to be... uh, If there's anything I could do to help, just ask. My previous job was Merchantry. I dont know, It's up to you..." Yooka opened the door enough to look out. The halls were just starting to get busy. Yooka looked towards the Meganium as if expecting the Guildmaster to say something.

The large book was opened and Faye got right to work, browsing through its pages to get where she wanted. Some corrections had to be made to existing pages, new ones had to be created… And by dipping a quill pen into a bottle of ink, it all could begin. She nodded when Yooka clarified on her team name, as it was always important to at least get that part right.
"Oh, yes. You already have your supplies and your room, so… I don't think you really need me much for anything else, dearie. Take care now," the Meganium looked up with a smile from her writing as the Kecleon mentioned about leaving, indeed not really having to stick around. This far, the process had been simpler than a normal registration. Though of course, it would change once they got to the paperwork…

Returning to the book, the Guildmaster worked on the finishing touches before Yooka's voice spoke up again, apologizing for the early start. It certainly was early, causing Faye to chuckle softly.
"An earlier morning now and then is something I can manage, sweetie. It's not every day I get to enjoy the Guild like this," she smiled, more used to the constant sounds outside her walls. But now, it was so quiet and quaint, like an entirely different place. She still didn't know if she was just going to get up now or try to get a little bit more sleep in once she was finished.
"You don't have to worry about it."

Though her bed was looking awfully warm and inviting about now.

Yooka nodded to the Meganium's statement. Leaving the Guildmaster to her work Yooka closed the door behind her quietly. Alright, with that done... Looking back at her room she suddenly remembered the skitty. Yooka rushed to her room before it got too busy. I almost forgot about how Darcy may act to the letter. From what Faye said, Darcy wouldn't probably get confused and question me... but, I matter aswell think of a few things, just in case she does get confused and question it. She fell onto her bed, and decided to sleep on the idea. I do think better while under pressure. so I'll, just... see what happens, yea... ... stretching then curling up, she found it quiet easy to fall back asleep.
