Team Visage - A Beginning

Gaige had a sort of unusual air of confidence to him. He wasn't a coward by any stretch. though he did have a new companion. The two were both rather new in town, the shuppet having arrived little more than hours ago. Both having nowhere to go decided upon taking their chances with the guild. It was after all one of his main reasons for travelling here, a vow to strengthen himself and perhaps also make a decent life for himself. The two approached the entrance which is where he'd stopped.

"Ready?" He asks, taking a breath, "This is it, the start of something new. A blank slate."

The little snorunt beside him was jumping in excitment. Felicity never knew that she's going to be here in her life! The Snorunt came to this town about a day or two ago. The journey to this town was pretty rough, but she doesn't regret anything at all. The Snorunt looked at her partner, the Shuppet seemed confident. She already knew his goal, he told her that when the two meet about an hour or two ago. As Felicity looked back at her life, and the artist she wanted to become, she will have to leave it behind, but if it's for saving people, she would kindly decline that path. Felicity smiled at Gaige and nodded. "I can't wait...! Let's go!"

After arriving in Grassveil Town after about a weeks hike from Rainfront Town and a nice long rest, it was about time Yooka headed over to the guild to see if they had any need of another guild member. On her way over and just before reaching the entrance to the guild, she saw two pokemon a Shuppet and a Snorunt, apperently hyping themselves up.

I'm not that far off... maybe I should just grab their attention and ask what they are doing... She thought to herself getting a bit curious. No, I shouldn't. That would just be weir---

Before she could finish she noticed the Snorunt nod to the Shuppet and barely heard what it said from this distance but it seems they finished and were about to head in.

"Wait!" Yooka found herself yelling out and also started running to catch up. "Wait for me...!"

As the Snorunt wanted to dash in, she heard a voice from behind, turning around, she saw a Kecleon, shouting at them to wait for her. "Oh, is something wrong? Do you need help?" The Snorunt smiled as it went closer to the Kecleon. "We're just about to go into the guild and sign up into a team today! We decided to call it Team Visage! It's cool, right?" The Snorunt laughed.

"Anyway, I'm Felicity, and the Shuppet next to me is Gaige! We just came here some days ago, what's your name, Miss?" The Snorunt winked as it laughed quietly at herself.

The Snorunt then suddenly got an idea! "O-Oh! You could join our team! Doesn't that sound cool!? We're going to explore places we've never been before in our lives! A-And... we're going to become famous, and all that other fun stuff! So what do ya say, Miss, wanna join us?"

The spectre turns his head towards the sudden disturbance. "Uh..." He mutters out, "Friend of yours?" He questions the Snorunt.

Once she's closed in on the pair, the Shuppet listens as Felicity takes the lead. As the conversation continues it becomes clear that the two actually had no relationship. He nods quickly as he's introduced, seeing as he lacks an arm to wave. He makes a mental note to try and evolve ASAP.

"I'd be more than willing to have another, strength in numbers and whatnot." He grins. He did think the proposal to be a little sudden though, I mean they still haven't gotten her name yet!

The sudden questions from the Snorunt caught Yooka by surprise, "Um wh-what...?"
The snorunt mentioned something about a guild registration and their team name being 'Visage' with their names being 'Felicity' and 'Gaige' and just before Yooka thought she could say something Felicity asked if she wanted to join.

"uhm... I'm..." Yooka started feeling weird 'that was a bit sudden...' she shook her head quickly... "I'm Yooka, and... uh, sure?" Yooka couldn't hold on to such an encounter for much longer. So she went ahead into the guild completely forgetting that she was planning to do the same thing anyway.

Yooka couldn't help but show that she was getting a bit annoyed and embarrassed as she went in. 'That went well... I think, but now I can't shake this feeling I'm missing something.' She started going down some stairs.
'I usually dont miss things. Whatever, how hard can being in a team... wait.' Yooka stopped at the bottom of the stairs.
I said yes didn't I... and I left them out there after saying sure... Yooka sat down on the bottom step and laid backward, arms to the side, eyes closed. Argh, I knew It! I should probably wait for them and I should probably apologize. This is going to be really awkward.

Gaige chuckles. Someone was clearly excited, a sentiment he could relate to. He could however, also contain himself.

"Right, are we going after her then? I've got no idea how many others are in there so it might be a good idea to find her. Don't want someone getting lost before we even get started, huh?" He asks Felicity. "Shall we?" He asks before beginning on the rather short journey again.

When he does get in, it takes little effort to find Yooka. To be fair it isn't easy to overlook someone sitting upon the stairs when they first enter. "I really hope this isn't a habit of yours... Don't wanna do that when we're on a job." He smirks.

As the Kecleon agreed, she introduced herself as Yooka. Felicity jumped around until the Kecleon and Shuppet left. "Hey! Wait for me, guys, you can't leave your leader behind like that!" She shouted, brushing off to the two, going down the stairs and catching up to them. "You two aren't nice!" She said in a childish voice, turning her head sideways. "Hmph!"

When Felicity opened one eye, she sighed. "Anyway! We should really get going! I can't wait much longer, if I'll do, I'll burst, I tell ya!" The Snorunt danced around, singing a little song to herself, when she got back to the two from dancing. Felicity looked at Gaige, as she completely forgot his question! "Oh... right! About the question! No, we don't want anyone to get lost on the forst day, isn't that right Yooka?" The Snorunt turned to the Kecleon.

Yooka opens her eyes and tips her head back to Gaige. Who was floating near the top of the stairs. "No... no, I was just... in a hurry." She half-lied. "but then I recalled saying yes to your asking me if I wanted to join." As Yooka was getting up the Snorunt, Felicity, has caught up to the two.

Yooka looked at the Snorunt who seemed pretty excited herself for she did a little dance as she said she couldn't wait much longer. Yooka giggled to herself but on the outside she only smirked. 'Interesting' When felicity finished, she mentions that they dont want anyone getting lost on the first day.

Yooka got a bit annoyed and thought 'Me get lost, hah! I worked as a merchant as a kid! The info I can-- ah, who am I kidding.' but she only said, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience I caused. I think I was planning on joining the guild myself." Yooka shrugs "shall I go see if the Guild Master is around?"

It had been a while since Faye had managed to properly stretch her legs, the life of a Guildmaster having gotten quite hectic in these trying times. The Guild seemed to be busier than ever, giving her a lot of official businesses to handle. Paperwork, meetings, studying, it just never seemed to stop. So for her own sake, she really had needed a bit of time outside her room, something even a good cup of herbal tea didn't fix!

Yet, it had been difficult to relax. The fresh air had been, well, refreshing, but with so much going on in her mind, the Meganium hadn't quite managed to put her work behind her on her little walk. Well, with her mind so focused on work, it only seemed fitting to go right back into it – not like there really was a choice. It was trying at times, yes, but this was still what she had chosen to do with her life, something she wasn't going to abandon.

With that thought, the smile returned on her lips as she walked inside the Guild proper, her steps careful as to not accidentally step on many of the smaller Pokémon that would be running about. Any Pokémon she happened upon she greeted, as usual. However, there was a trio of Pokémon Faye hadn't seen before, her eyes settling on them before she stopped – and as she handled the team registrations, she more or less knew everyone.

When the Guildmaster had a chance, she had the habit of not telling who she was, exactly – at least not her title. The Meganium brought her head closer to the ground, craning her neck.
"Well hello there, dearies," she spoke with a soft voice, her expression gentle,
"I don't think I have seen you before. Might there be something I can help you with?"

After giving a quick apology, Gaige replies, "Well I can't really blame either of you. I mean, this is gonna be a pretty big thing after all. Why wouldn't we all be excited?" He cranes his neck to gaze over the crowds. "I think we should all stick together, this is a pretty big crowd after all and it's not like any of us have been in here before."

Before they can actually make a decision together, someone else approaches the outside of their little circle. The Shuppet takes the lead and greets the Meganium. "Oh, hello." He smiles, "We're sort of new here, the three of us. We were actually hoping to sign up, though it's our first time being in here so we're a little lost to be perfectly honest." He glances around the room for a brief second before returning his focus to the much taller pokemon before him. "I don't suppose you'd be able to help us, would you?"

The Snorunt seemed to be amused at the Meganium in front of her, she kindly asked them about if they need any help. Gaige seemed to take the lead, but Felicity came right after. "Miss! Do you know where she is by any chance?" The Snorunt aaked, seeming a bit more calm in front of the older Pokemon.

The snorunt shivered, she was a bit scared of the older Pokemon, even if it's so kind... what if it gets outraged!? The Snorunt shaked her head to brush it off, and just shook her head in approval of what Gaige said.

Yooka flinched and got a chill down her spine as a big but soft voice acknowledged the group. 'Oh geez!' Yooka thought turning around to see who it was. "H-h-hello..." She stuttered, slowly retreating behind Giage and Felicity. 'Wait. It's a Meganium. I was told the Guildmaster was a Meganium,' but before Yooka could exclaim the info. The shuppet and snorunt asked a few things to the Meganium, Yooka smirked almost ignoring everything around her as she thought, 'I'm not sure if this Meganium is the actual Guildmaster but it's worth asking her name anyway... I got to say something.'

Yooka stepped inbetween the two and pointed to each of them as she said, "My name is Yooka, this shuppet is Gaige, and the snorunt here is Felicity." She took a step back. "These two were planning to form a team here, and I guess I got involved in it too. I know I had other plans but I can postpone them for this." Yooka smiled, and shrugged. "Guess I can't back down now, or can I?" she gave a small laugh, then asked, "Oh ya... Do you mind telling us who you are? I don't think you said that."

Faye smiled as she listened, her gaze on the trio of Pokémon. They exchanged their greetings, and she quickly learned what they were here to do: to join the Guild. The Meganium nodded to show that she understood – after all, there were other reasons one unaffiliated with the Guild might show up there, but this often was the main reason when a group like this ended up visiting the Guild.
"She? The Guildmaster?" Faye tilted her head with a gentle smile when the Snorunt mentioned some mysterious she that might have been a part of an earlier conversation she was not a part of herself.

She certainly could help with everything that had been asked, for sure.

"It is good to meet you Yooka, Gaige, Felicity," the Guildmaster's gaze moved from one Pokémon to another, as the Kecleon introduced all of them to her. She had not done the same yet, but she wasn't going to keep her name a secret.
"I am called Faye. Before I take you to the Guildmaster's Quarters, would you like to have a tour of the Guild? You can of course do it afterward as well, we have many Pokémon here who would love to show you around at any time."

Gaige shrugs, as best as he could that is. He did after all lack shoulders for the time being. "I'm in no rush," he begins, "so long as we do wind up getting an audience at some point. If they're fine with it I've got no problem getting that tour now." He smiles. This had been a rather pleasant experience, the trip to Grassveil and meeting the other two, or three now as it may be. If the Meganium was anything to go by, the members here should be more than hospitable enough. "I think I'm gonna like it here already!"
