A confused affection.

Camroth sighs, kicking a pebble as he walks through town. "How come Aaron gets a girlfriend? I mean I know that he known her for a while, but I wish I had one too." Camroth asked himself. Ever since he has found out that his brother has a girlfriend, Alona, He felt a ping of Jealousy. He doesn't hate his brother, far from it. But the way he explains how he and Alona shows that much affection with each other, Camroth wanted that kind of affection as well. The problem lies with how he'll find someone to be affectionate too, Which lead him to the mission he's in now.

"I know it won't be easy, but maybe there is someone I could chat up at the fountain area? There has to be some girl I could talk to... Truth be told, as confident as he is, he struggles talking to a girl. He took it from Alona that all girls are scary and fear that he would say the wrong thing. Hopefully that wasn't the case, as he starts to make his way to the water fountain.

Geo sat in the shade under an umbrella, outside the Feather Cafe. Grassveil Town was a quaint little town, she reflected as she sipped at a smoothie. The aspiring ninja adjusted her headband with one of her ribbons, absentmindedly.

She wondered what she could do now that she was doing well at her ninja training. Training was always good, but what could she do with her new skills? She couldn't think of any jobs off the top of her head that would need a silent, stealthy fighter.

She finished her smoothie and stood up from her table, walking into the street. She wandered the streets of Grassveil for a while, no destination in mind. She eventually came upon a fountain and sat down next to it, looking up at the water and smiling at the rainbow that was being created by the spray of water reflecting the sunlight.

Camroth arrived at the fountain, Jumping up the ledge and lapping up some fresh waters. Unknowing to him, he was next to a Sylveon. After drinking out the fountain, he lift his head and sigh. Well, I'm here. Who's even here anyway? What am I supposed to say? Fear slowly grow upon the Deino, scared that female Pokemon would hurt him if he so much as to say something they're sensitive to. And even if he does find some Pokemon to fall in love with, how would he know if they feel the same way? "I... I don't even know if I can even do this." Camroth told himself.

Just as he was about to give up, he slipped off the ledge and hit head first on too the floor. "Oww..." Camroth cried out, Dazed due to the blow on the head. Everything was fuzzy for him, every noise he hear echoes into his mind.

Geo's attention was torn away from the rainbow by a deino appearing next to her. The deino took a drink from the fountain, seemingly not noticing her. She looked away politely, but her attention was taken back to the dragon as it let out a cry, falling off the edge of the fountain and smashing head-first into the ground.

"O-oh! Oh, my! A-are... Are you OK?" She asked, nudging the deino with one of her ribbons.

Camroth heard a voice echoing in his ear, nudging him awake. "Y-yeah... I... I guess I'm ok." Camroth told the voice. Truth be told, he was holding back all the tears his body is creating. He's sort of a cry baby, but he didn't want to make any of the female think he's too much a weakling that can't take a single scratch without crying. Camroth got up from the floor, holding his throbbing head where it got struck by the floor. He looked as if he's struggling to not cry, but failing miserably.

"I... I just need to lay down... My whole head hurts." Camroth said with a cracked voice, strongly suggesting that he's holding back his tears. It was hard to do, however. His headache felt like a thousand of Tauros rampaging in his head, it was unbearable. At one point, he couldn't take the pain anymore and burst into tears, not only sad, but now embarrassed that Pokemon like the one who called out to him will think of him as a cry baby.

Geo was at a loss of what to do. The deino had begun to cry... She felt uncomfortable; she wasn't sure what to do with the crying pokemon. "H-hey, i-it'll be alright," she said, laying a ribbon on the deino's shoulder.

An idea occurred to her. She could use Wish, and heal the pokemon! She hummed lowly, her ribbons rising and spreading out from her, waving in a nonexistant wind. After a few moments, she stopped humming, and her ribbons fell into their normal positions.

"Just wait a few minutes, and you'll feel better," Geo said to the deino.

Who was this Pokemon? What was she doing when she told him that he was going to feel better? Not that Camroth was complaining, he'd do anything to stop that painful headache. But while he was in pain, something else caught his attention. Listening to her voice now, it sounded feminine. Which means to tell him that she was female, even though that's far from the truth. He was blind, so he couldn't really tell what was her true gender, but he believes that whoever this Pokemon that helped him is, is female.

Camroth tries to calm down to avoid looking more of a child then he has already and turn his head toward the Female. "L-listen... T-thank you for helping me..." Camroth told the Sylveon. "Ow... Uh... I want to make it up to you... so maybe I could buy you something... like dinner?" If his head didn't hurt so much, he would face palmed. He sounded like he Asked her out on a date. Maybe he did wanted to go on a date, but he didn't wanted to asked her straight away. Not until he knows her at least.

Geo raised an eyebrow at the rambling coming from the deino. "It was nothing, really," She insisted. "You don't need to make anything up to me. Just, be more careful in the future, alright?" She said gently. The wish should be coming true any moment now.

There was light that was embed around the Deino, healing him for all of his injuries, including his head. To Camroth, It felt wonderful. Like he was getting a soothing Massage throughout his body, and in an Instant, the pain in his head was gone. "W-wow! That was awesome!" Camroth Jumped up with a Smile on his face, his fur dried up with tears. "Come on, I really, REALLY want to make it up to you. I have the Poke to pay for the meal, I insist!" She DID helped him heal his head, and she seems to be a nice Pokemon. Plus, She's female, so hopefully it won't be too hard to get her to like him.

Camroth Soon remember the reason he's afraid of girls, however, and started to gulp. "W-well, I mean y-you don't have to t-take my offer up... Uh... I just wanted to hang out and... W-wait, be friends, I..." He needed to snap out of it, he becoming a nervous wreck right now. He can't even imagine what this Female Thought about him stumbling around like an idiot. "Uhhh... D-don't hurt me..." He muttered under his breath.

Geo was becoming uncomfortable. "You, uh, really don't owe me anything," she insisted. "There's nothing for you to make up for. Anyone who is decent would have helped you, really. I just happened to be nearby."

Geo pawed at the ground nervously as the deino carried on. She was taken aback by his plea for her to not hurt him, though. "I, uh... I won't hurt you, kid..." She said. She assumed the deino was a child by the way he was acting, though she had no real idea of the pokemon's age.

He needed to take a deep breath, count to ten, and relax. He got this. He can turn the table. He slowly take his time breathing, calming down from his embarrassing situation. "Ok..." He muttered to himself. What is he going to do? He probobly made the Sylveon uncomfortable, so he has to make sure she doesn't feel that way anymore. "Sorry... I'm... not trying to be weird. I just a little nervous is all... Um, anyway... I'm Camroth. And uh... I should be as old as you... I don't take pain easily, so I might look like a kid the way I act... but I'm not..." Camroth shook his head, trying to keep his composure.

"Um... about that dinner thing... W-well we can forget about that... I... Just wanna talk. Get to know each other maybe? I-I mean if you don't mind of course. And I'm interested in... knowing you. J-just a friendly chat, y-you know?" Camroth gulped, shuffling his paw and his face blushing in embarrassment.

Geo blushed as the deino told her that he wasn't a child. "O-oh... I'm sorry," she apologized. "I... uh, I just kinda assumed... s-sorry," she mumbled. Now she felt even more awkward and uncomfortable.

She pawed at the ground again as the deino stumbled over his words. "Um..... I, I mean, I guess we can do that? If that's what you want, I guess?" She said, feeling trapped in the situation. She didn't want to be rude by telling the deino 'no'.

Alright, so far so good. It sounds like she doesn't want to do it. In that case, he just have to do something that she would want to stay and talk to him... If he knew how to do that. He couldn't think of anything she would want to talk about. Unless she has dreams. Everyone has dreams, like Camroth for example. He would like to be a heckler comedian once he evolves. He loves Jokes and pranks and such, though he doesn't do pranks as much due to a prank gone wrong. Regardless, he has an Idea. "Well, Do you have a dream? Like when you get older and stuff. I mean, I have a dream of my own, but I want to hear your dreams first."

It was a simple ice breaker. He just hopes that She was passion enough to talk about it.

Geo pawed at the ground nervously. "W-well... I-I mean, I've kind of... always wanted to be.... a ngshrhea..." She mumbled, mushing up the word 'ninja' so that it was unrecognizable. She was sorta embarrassed about the dream she'd always had. She'd been teased about it a lot, so it was embarrassing to admit. "What about you?" she said quickly, hoping to move on from herself.

"A Ngshrhea? Uh... Could you please rephrase that?" That was Odd, it sounded like she was too embarrassed to say what her dream was. Was she really that embarrassed? How could he make it so she isn't too embarrassed about her dream?  "Uh... Listen. Y-you don't have to be embarrassed about your dream. I mean, Everyone has one dreams in their life, Even if it's odd, it's still a dream." Camroth smiles. He hoped that work, if it didn't, maybe he encourage her by telling his own Dream? "I always wanted to be a heckler comedian. You know? Where the joke is I get insulted by a bad joke and all that? Uh... I can't exactly do that with my one head, but I want to bring a smile to Pokemon like you."
