| Zorre Energy: 39 - 22 = 17
Zorre hissed as he paced at the foot of the mountain. He was ready to head up the mountain, ready to fight his way through hordes of enemies and slice through their thick, warm bodies to get at their blood, paint the pristine snow with the red, and show everyone that he was no one to be trifled with, but the weaker side of him kept protesting his every move, kept pulling away at the taste of the rust on his tongue and the sight of the viscerae!
Zorre huffed and puffed as he eyed the towering mountain before him. He had heard of the treasure it beheld, somewhere deep within its depths, and wondered if it held something for him, something that he could claim for his own. He had heard warnings of the cursed items that may be lurking within, but he dismissed such myths as just that: myths. Legends to scare away those too weak to seek the treasure within.
He was ready to head up the mountain, but he as he scraped his scythes against a rock in preparation for the journey ahead, he wondered if he'd run into anyone worth sharing the journey with? Certainly a bit of fun along the way wouldn't hurt the end goal. Manipulation was something he needed practice in, after all. His encounter with the glaceon those many weeks ago had pointed that out. He needed to learn to twist encounters with others in his own way, twist others to his mindset before he killed them, lest they catch wind to his ideology.
He would have to practice on the first pokemon he came across, he resolved. Instead of killing them outright, at least. He'd see what came of it. | |

| The snow drifted lightly from the sky above as a light blanket coated the ground. Behind him were footsteps of where he had been. His mind felt...empty. He stared ahead of him almost mindlessly as his mind failed to latch onto a conscious thought. It was almost as if he had been sleepwalking. The flames of his tail were low, but at the time they reflected more of his mental state than his physical. His body was just fine, but the marks on his body took on a faint glow as they worked their magic. He had ceased to hold a conscious effort in trying to figure out what was going on with him.
He was more akin to a zombie as he walked. The charmeleon knew not where he was going, but he had begun to return to the place where he had received this cursed blessing. His mind felt spacious as his body was relaxed, his stare vacant.
The fire type did not even feel cold in the dropped temperatures of the frozen mountain. Despite his absentness from his mind, his eyes still scanned the world around him. Garnet was alert and in search of something to satisfy the hunger he had begun to crave far more often than usual.
The only thing he could feel was a nagging desire to sink his teeth into something.

| Zorre trudged his way up the mountainside, getting more and more frustrated with each passing step that no pokemon jumped out at him to practice his manipulation on. It was getting ridiculous! He just wanted to rip something to shreds with how impatient he was! Calm down, it won't get any easier and you'll just hurt someone the angrier you get. whispered the weakling in the back of his mind.
Zorre snorted, but had to admit the weakling had a point. He could feel himself losing control and a red haze growing at the edges of his eyes, and that was no way to meet a new pokemon. He'd lose all sense of manipulation and just attack that way. He had to reign in control of his anger and pack it away until it had some use.
It was then that he noticed the soft glow of light ahead. Something, someone was ahead, and they were carrying a light with them! It was a relief to finally see some sign of someone else out here! He wasn't alone on this forlorn mountain! He stuffed that feeling away, though, too.
He couldn't afford to look weak. He strode forward into the light and was surprised to see it come from a tail. It was... a charmeleon! The red-colored lizard was trudging through the snow slowly, and seemed to be in some sort of pain, if the expression on his face were any indication.
"Hello there, sir," Zorre began smoothly, the speech impediment of his weaker half disappeared like smoke on the wind. "Cold out here for a warm-blood like yourself. I say, what would bring someone like you out here in such weather and circumstances?" He smirked, keeping his blades behind him, but at the ready.
This pokemon would never know what hit him. | |

| He had continued along, he had not even noticed that someone had approached him until they had spoken out to him. He stopped in his tracks before he looked to see what had made the noise. A large creature that seemed to keep its arms behind them. Large wings, an abdomen...bug like features...
Horrid memories began to return to him. If the scyther had been more along the purple color, he would have attacked then and there as he was only reminded of the monster that was Genesect. A legendary being with powerful qualities, nowhere near as weak as he nor this scyther.
The bug type had begun to speak with him, make conversation. The creature before him had asked what he was doing here. He...honestly did not know. He hardly knew where he was in the first place. The fire type stared at the scyther without a single word for what seemed to have been hours to him as he tried to gather some kind of thoughts to say something as well as repress the flickering urge to attack.
"Leave." He managed to speak only a single word. He wanted the scyther to go away before he did something...bad, but it was difficult to say much more than a single word for him. | |

| Zorre rose a ridged brow at the single word emitted from the charmeleon, that being the word 'leave'. He had been led to believe that other pokemon clung to others like leaves clung to trees. It was pathetic, really. But this pokemon pushed him away immediately, a loner type perhaps, or perhaps he didn't trust the scyther.
Some pokemon had a problem with the scyther race, what with their feral ways, and quick to judge, quick to action ways. Perhaps this was one of those. "Now, now, that wasn't very nice," he purred. "I was only being friendly. But maybe you need time to see that I won't hurt you." He said insightfully.
He stood back for a moment, taking a look over the mountainside. "Surely you can see the advantage in traveling together. Watching each other's backs?" He offered slyly, watching the other out of the side of his eye. | |

| The scyther had suggested that they travel together with a glance to the to the mountainside. The scythes of the creature were fairly easy to notice, but Garnet had paid them no mind as he instead looked directly at the head of the creature, though his eyes had trailed from the eyes down the cheek bone to the soft exposed neck that held the head to the body. It was thin, hardly defended, and more importantly, vulnerable. His lips parted from each other as he imagined himself snapping down on the neck. Tear off the wings and brandish the blades as a trophy. The urge to go through with it seemed to explode with desire as he merely stared absentmindedly for a few brief seconds. He pulled himself out of it and tore his eyes away from the vulnerability with a shake of his head. He bared his teeth at the bug type and repeated with more demand to his tone, "Leave!" The charmeleon's talons sunk into the ground as his teeth snapped shut and grit against each other. The blaze on his tail seemed to liven up slightly as he now glared at the scyther that had insisted to stay. --- Zera snorted as he stalked through the frozen mountain. Where the hell was boss? The houndoom's head hung low as he stared at the ground in front of him. He had been on the search for boss after he had lost sight of him. He needed to be with Boss, he was Boss after all! The houndoom snorted and pawed at the ice. He had given up on using smell a while ago to track the glaceon, as it had proved futile time and time again. For now, he was just going to wander around until he found someone who had seen Boss. Where even was Boss's territory? Shouldn't he be there, defending it? The houndoom pouted to himself before he stopped. He had noticed strange shapes in the distance. Other pokemon? Maybe they had seen boss!? His tail began to wag slightly, though only for a second. He turned and made his way towards the creatures in the distance with a question in mind... ((Zera Energy: 11)) - Kat carried out 10 launched of one Mt. Frostmeer :

| Zorre rose the other brow as he slid to the side, flashing his scythes warningly at the charmeleon as it turned around and its tail fire flashed up, a sign that it was angry and getting ready to fight. At least the charmeleon would have no chance of surprising him with that fire flashing signaling everything the charmeleon was thinking to Zorre. "Woah there, pardner!" Zorre said placatingly, backing away a little. "Now, now, I'm sure we can settle our differences, can't we? Otherwise, I assure you, I'm not afraid to fight," he said with a sneaky smile. "But it doesn't have to come to that, does it? Come now, we're both civilized pokemon, aren't we? After all, we both came to this mountain seeking something, didn't we? You never did say what it was that brought you here, did you? Please, friend, let's just have some polite conversation!" He winked. He backed away further; maybe giving the charmeleon room would make him more apt to speak. He looked around, seeing the snowy mountainside filled with snow, ready to give way at any moment, and eyed it carefully. He'd use it if he had to; fill the icy path with a pile of snow if need be. - Silver carried out 5 launched of one Mt. Frostmeer :

Lumina Energy: 48 - 22 = 26
Lumina padded up the mountain absentmindedly, watching the snow swirl around her as it fell in soft spirals. She figured it would be cold to other pokemon, but to her, warmed by the inner fire that rested within her, it was a pleasant day padding through the snow. She was hoping that the treasure that rested at the heart of Mt. Frostmeer wasn't something disappointing, but even so, it was a pleasant time getting there, at least.
The snow was pretty, too. She lifted her narrow snout to the cool air and snaked out her tongue to catch a few flakes on the tip of her tongue, giggling as a few wet drops melted on her tongue. Lumina sighed happily as she continued her way through the snow. Her long strides had her making a good way through the snow-strewn mountain, even though the steepness of the mountain had her straining her muscles, she enjoyed the challenge, and leapt from snow-covered rock to snow-covered rock.
She didn't expect to see any other pokemon, so she was surprised when she saw a glow ahead, and the sound of talking. "Hello?" She called, still shocked that there were any other pokemon out in this snow on the mountain. She turned the corner on the path, and saw a scyther and a charmeleon. "Well, hello!" she greeted them warmly. "I didn't expect to see anyone on my exploration of this mountain!" | |

| The scyther still wanted to talk it out. He grew irritated and impatient with the scyther as he lowered his body into a crouch. The snow around him began to melt as his body heated up. The tail's blaze began to grow bigger as his lips curled back to bare the razor sharp fangs below them. "Final warning," he hissed. The annoyance with the scyther had only added to the blaze that was his desire for combat. Why couldn't anyone just listen to him for once!? Why was he always being the one to be pushed around or ignored!? He had ignored the presence of the ninetales, his attention had been tunneled onto the Scyther. "L͝͏̡͘҉ȩ̀́͡͏a̸͘v̵͞͝͞e̵͢!" It was becoming difficult to root himself to the ground. The scyther had not at all done anything wrong, but still, he felt the intense desire to inflict harm upon the bug type. A flicker of panic rose in his mind as he realized what was going on, but it was snuffed out before it could have a chance to even begin to show itself upon his expression. --- Zera had approached, oboy, there was three of them now! Maybe one of them knew where Boss was? One of them didn't look too happy though. The houndoom hesitated in his approach as he watched the charmeleon lower itself into a crouch. The charmeleon had acted hostile towards the strange bladed creature. He was not sure why, but he was not sure if he wanted to be involved with a fight either. The ninetales had seemed to be friendly, but all Zera cared about was the direction to Boss. He approached, but he kept his distance as he waited to see if the pokemon would fight. He said nothing as he cast stares at the pokemon as he tried to figure out what to make of the situation... --- Oh look a trawl orb - Kat carried out 10 launched of one Mt. Frostmeer :

| Zorre's Energy:17 - 9 = 8Zorre flashed a sneer at the charmeleon. "Final warning, huh? I guess I better use it sparingly then, huh? But I'm not scared of you." He said, buzzing his wings mockingly. "I guess it's true then, talking means nothing to you pokemon. Fighting is the only thing that gets through your thick skulls," he talked like he wasn't a pokemon himself, but that was because Zorre believed himself to be above all the rest of pokemonkind. He believed to be a master of fate, to be one to decide who lived and who died, and he was drunk on said power. He needed someone to take him down a peg or two. Perhaps this charmeleon could be that someone. Zorre bared his teeth at the charmeleon. "Come at me then, bro. Let's see if I can't stain this snow with your blood before the moon hits the horizon? Then I can paint the night sky with your pelt and blood!" He buzzed his wings and flew straight at the crouched charmeleon, aiming to slice the charmeleon's head from his body. Even if the charmeleon weren't to dodge, the scyther's blades weren't sharp enough to slice clean through the lizard's body, though it would leave a deep wound. - Silver carried out 5 launched of one Mt. Lumina gasped as the charmeleon got into a crouch and challenged the scyther. The scyther responded in kind, and attacked! Both of them seemed intent on ignoring her, and she was wary of interfering; it was dangerous to interfere in a battle; she might hurt one or both combatants if she interfered. It might be best for her to wait it out to see which one of them was winning before interfering.
Or, if it seemed like one of them was really trying to kill the other, she would interfere. Yeah, that's what she would do. Except, the scyther was going for the kill on the first move! She gasped, running forward, but she was too slow!

| The scyther had launched himself forward with an attack. The charmeleon's eyes widened as his mouth opened wider. His talons pierced through the snow and dug into the frozen hard ground below the fire on his tail settled for only a brief second as he refused to back down from the creature that charged straight for him. He had given the scyther a chance to back down and yet the scyther had chosen to simply attack.
A bloodthirsty fool...one that nobody would miss.
A blast of fire suddenly shot forward from the back of his throat and shot towards the Scyther. He wasted no time as his body began to glow with a purple energy. The charmeleon followed behind the blast of fiery energy with a eyes that took on a lavender tint. The plan was that as soon as the blast of fire had struck the Scyther, he would strike him once more with a powerful Outrage.
--
To Zera's luck, a fight had indeed broken out. His tail whipped back and forth as he watched eagerly. Oooh, was it a boss-fight? Were they trying to find out who was Boss? He wanted to participate! One on one though, he would fight the winner...
His licked his lips eagerly as he drew closer. He would pick off the Boss while they're weak from the battle. Then, for once in his life, HE would be boss! The houndoom looked forward to this. Others would follow his orders, he would at long last be able to give the orders instead of receiving them! He watched the match with hungry eyes as he waited to see just who would be the victor. | |

| Zorre fell back as the powerful blast of fire struck him in the side. He roared in outrage as the flames died around him. Then he cried out as the charmeleon roared and rushed him, biting and clawing at him, seemingly possessed by some manic energy. Zorre buzzed his wings and flew off to a safe edge, panting.
He winced as the burn struck him hard. He was vulnerable to fire. Stupid mistake to challenge a creature of fire, but he hadn't thought the stupid lizard would start off with a fire blast to the face! He thought the thing was too weak to think about it for a while. But no matter. He didn't just have his scythes, after all.
He focused inward, and then raised his head, shrieking at the top of his lungs, the bug buzz traveling towards the charmeleon at the speed of sound. There was no way to dodge this attack! He would be struck to the very bone.
-----
Lumina skidded to a halt as the scyther was blown back by a blast of fire. She watched in dismay as the scyther screeched in anger and pain. "Please, stop this!" she called in dismay. "Surely this isn't the answer!"
She watched as the scyther shrieked angrily, the sound striking the strangely glowing charmeleon, and she watched the charmeleon warily, seeing the strange purple glow around his eyes, knowing that it couldn't be anything good. "Please, please stop this!" She called to the charmeleon. "There's got to be a different answer than fighting! We're going to call down the feral pokemon on us if we keep making noise like this!" She added, surely if they couldn't stop because of their stupid pride, they'd stop for logical reasoning?
She still had not noticed the houndoom behind her, eagerly watching the fight for his own reasons. | |

| The proximity of the attack had made it near impossible for him to dodge. The charmeleon suffered from the attack, but little damage was done. The fire type gave a snarl that was drowned out by the terrible screech. He fought through the pain as the markings along his body took on their glow as the blessing kicked into effect in the assistance of his learning. The fire type ignored the pleas of the ninetales and instead spoke directly to the scyther, "Ca͞n̛'̕t͟ ̶h͏it me yo͡ur̵şe͢l͜f͏?̛"
Despite his mind and body working to do what he acted, it felt as if he was in the back seat rather than the one doing the actions. "I ̵had w̧arn̵e͠d ̵yo̕u a̶nd̢ ̢yo̡ú ̛refus͝e͢d̀ ̵t͘o̴ ͏lis̢te̸n." It was as if he was watching a story unfold before him, though he was powerless to do anything about it...or even care about it. The charmeleon moved forward despite the pain of the attack and lashed out with the Outrage once more. He moved to latch onto the Scyther, while tooth and claw might not do much to the bug's armor, a fresh Fire Blast as he latched on would most certainly hurt.
--
The houndoom drew closer as the ninetales begged for the two to stop, "Shut the hell up already," the houndoom snorted to the fox, "YOU'RE going to be the one attracting the dumb*sses with all your yapping!" Honestly, though, Zera was annoyed. Why couldn't she just avoid the fight and wait for the victor to be revealed?
Unless...
No, it couldn't be...could it?
At least...he was pretty sure it couldn't be that. Scyther wasn't compatible after all. The houndoom shook himself before he sat down in the snow and watched the fight carefully. Who was going to be the victor? So far, his money was on the scyther. If the scyther won, then he would certainly have an easier time claiming the throne of Boss from him. | |

| Zorre ignored the taunt, aware of its meaning to enrage him and cause him to blaze out of control and be unable to manipulate events to his amusement. He took note of the strange markings glowing on the charmeleon's hide. "I only do what I can to harm you. If I need to hit you from a distance, so be it," he said.
He screeched as the charmeleon slammed into him again, scratching and biting into his black carapace. "You fool! You can't make it through my hide!" he yelled, but the charmeleon wasn't finished. He screeched as the charmeleon fire blasted him once more. He buzzed his wings desperately and fled from the charmelon's range.
He landed outside of the lizard's range, next to the snow wall, and looked up with a smirk. "Looks like you miscalculated, my friend. So long." He said, and slammed his two scythes into the wall, sending the wall of snow falling down onto the path.
-----
Lumina whipped around as a fourth voice sounded from behind her, telling her to shut up. She hissed, her ears laying flat against her skull as her eyes landed on a houndoom that looked bored at her display of dominance. Still, he might have a point about her yelling bringing ferals down on them.
"Well what do you suggest we do, then, smart guy?" she snapped. "They're going to bring the whole mountain down on us if we don't stop them!" she said. "And I don't mean just the feral pokemon," she added, watching the way the scyther slammed into the mountainside and how the snow slid down dangerously around him.
"They're going to bring down an avalanche if we don't stop them soon." She warned. "Especially with that charmeleon throwing around fire blasts like that."
Then the scyther had the brilliant idea of slamming his scythes into the mountainside. "SHIT!" Lumina yelped as the mountainside rumbled. "ARE YOU CRAZY?!" she yelled at the scyther, but he just laughed as the rumbling grew louder and louder.
"WATCH OUT!" Lumina yelled as she ran down the mountain path, trying to outrun the avalanche, but it was to no end. The snow fell faster than she could run and suddenly she was overtaken and suddenly she was tumbling end over end in a freefall of snow and wind. | |
