The Town's Affection.

It was very early in the morning, but the little Deino wanted to explore the town some more. Aaron hadn't had the chance to do it since that tour Silverdawn gave him. Nevertheless, Aaron strolled from the Grassveil guild and into the town. Its rather quiet, as in not much activity around the area, though again it is early in the morning so that was to be expected. Aaron could feel the sun's warmth covering his whole body, the cool breeze rustling his fur. It felt wonderful, a good way to shake off any drowsiness anyone have in this town. While he was blind, Aaron learned a lot from his partners. Navigating, sensing what kind of pokemon they are, and echolocation, though he still struggling with that. Aaron was in a pretty good mood overall; So good that he started to sing when he past the first building from his right. It was loud enough for anyone next to him to hear.

His voice isn't like a meloetta by any means, but it was a decent singing voice for a Deino.

Early in the morning. A pichu and a charmeleon had been at the town's square... Resting near the fountain. The charmeleon staring into the water as the pichu sat next to it. "Jak... is there something wrong?" the little pichu asked the charmeleon. The charmeleon didn't quite respond though. He simply turned towards the pichu and stared for a moment.

"What is it Jak?" the pichu asked once more. The charmeleon closed his eyes and looked towards the entrance of the town. No one in sight at the moment. "I am not sure... Of course I still miss Fang... but... I am more worried about something else..." he stated with a slight sigh.

"What is it then?" the pichu responded as it tilted its head in curiousity. "It... It is nothing." he stated as he didn't want to upset the pichu. At this point Jak noticed a small dragon type walking into town from the guilds direction. The pichu frowned at his comment. It knew that there was something wrong.

About time... Found them once again... I will not lose them again.

((The spiritomb is thinking this... He is currently not visible to anyone, and it not in the line of sight of anyone. Including echo located stuff unless echo location works for objects hidden behind others. ))

Aaron was in the grove! bopping his head while he sung his tune. At one point he stop for a few moment and did a 360 spin, before he went back to what he was doing. Nothing could stop this groovy Pokemon! The Dragon type thought to himself as makes his way to Town square. You would think that being too distracted by his sing, he would accidentally bump into something or somepokemon, And you would be wrong. Aaron can smell them a mile away.

When he finished that last word, Aaron stopped singing as well as bopping his head. Sniffing around, Aaron could smell a fresh clean, rain water smell. That must mean he was somewhere next to the fountain. There's also Some pokemon he could smell. A scent of a Charmander, though it smelled different then the Charmander he met last time. In fact, Aaron doubt it was a Charmander at all. The fire type's companion smelled like a Pichu. They were talking, but Aaron didn't want to eavesdrop. "Right so I'm at town square..." Aaron mumbled to himself. "I guess I should take a break here, try to get my bearings here." Aaron laid on his stomach and tried to memorizes his steps, However as much as he like to he just couldn't do it. The little distraction he made for himself backfired. "Great..." Aaron sighed.

(Echolocation, basically what is does is let Aaron see how close an object is.)

"I can zap it out of ya... hehe" the pichu joked as Jak turned towards the little pokemon. "Really now... You want to know that badly..." he said with a slight grin.
The pichu froze for a moment at the grin. "Only if it becomes a problem." the little pokemon stated as it looked into the fountain.

I wonder why he stares at water a lot especially when thinking of fang... the little pichu thought to itself.

Jak looked back towards the direction of the guild. Watching the pokemon as it seemed to dance its way over signing. He wondered what exactly this pokemon was doing. It just... was odd to him. He hasn't seen this kind of pokemon sing and dance before.

"Something wrong?" Jak asked the pokemon as he noticed the pokemon seemed worried about something.

The spiritomb was still remaining out of sight of the three pokemon as he waited for his chance... A chance at what though? Well... we would have to find out.

"Huh?" Aaron turn his head toward the source of the Voice. The voice's scent told him that it was that Pokemon who was talking to the Pichu. "Oh, nothing really important. I'm just a little lost, that's all. I'm blind you see..." And how he hated it. Aaron wishes that he would be a Hydreigon. That way, he would be able to see the world and how it look like. Not to mention he could finally see where he's going. Stretching his legs, the Deino spoke some more. "Don't mind me too much alright, I'm just trying to get my bearings." Aaron tapped his foot repeatedly, trying to remember where he came from. "Ok... The Guild is east of here right?" Or was it north... Wait, how will he know what's north and what's east? The frustrated Deino shook his head. He didn't like asking for help due to his blindness; he should figure this stuff out himself.

Still... If the Pokemons with him ask to help him, he won't say no. Otherwise, The dragon type will ask for help as a last resort.

The little pichu tilted its head to its side as the pokemon stated it was nothing important that was wrong. Jak however frowned as he heard that the pokemon was a little lost and blind. "Would you like some help? Where do you need to get to?" Jak asked the pokemon as he looked towards Joey who seemed to nod in approval.

"We be glad to help out if you need it." the pichu said with a wide smile. At this point Jak noticed a flicker of light from around the corner. An odd purplish light at that matter. However, due to how brief it was... He thought he might of been imagining things.

woops... Let myself out on accident there.... Hope no one noticed... the spiritomb thought to itself as it remained within its stone around the corner.

Aaron turn his head towards the Jak and Joey with a small smile. "I'd appreciate the help guys, but... Wait, you know what? Would you mind if you guide me back to the guild after I'm done exploring the town? I'm not asking you to do it right now, just after I'm done, OK?" Aaron mentally slapped himself for that, but he wants to get back to bed before his partner wakes up. "So how about it? 50 Poké for each of you guys if you help me? I know it isn't much, but I'm kinda in a tight budget." Funnily enough, Aaron have no Idea how he should spend his money.  He would rather save up money for a rainy day then blow it off in one place though. Aaron slowly got to his feet, twisting and turning his head to get rid of the stiffness, unaware of purple light that flickered in the corner.

Jak went to nod however he forgot that the pokemon stated it was blind. Quickly remembering, "Of course! We would be happy to help you back when your done exploring the town." he said with a smile. The pokemon then stated that he would give them 50 poke each for the help. However Jak shook his head quickly and attempted to stop the pokemon on its offer. "Wait! Please, there is no need to give us anything.. Haha.. We have to head there sometime later, Joey has to return to the guild to get some more work sometime today." Jak quickly said. Worried the pokemon would still insist they took the money.

"Yea, I am part of the guild too! Did you join recently? I haven't seen you there before." Joey asked the Deino.


As the conversation went on, the spiritomb sat around the corner impatiently... This is so annoying... uggh! the spiritomb thought to itself angrilly.

Aaron nodded in acknowledgement when the fire type accepted his request. However, as soon as he reach in his bag for cash, Jak refused the offer. He'd argue, but the charmeleon seem persistence on helping him for free. "Alright, if you say so." However, he mentioned that Joey, who he's assuming was the Pichu, was part of the guild. Interesting that he haven't seen him before. "Uh... yeah, I joined not to long ago. I came all the way from Rainfront town." He hadn't forgot his reason for doing so. He'll get stronger for his brother, no matter what. "Anyway, My partner is sleeping back in the guild, so I figured I explore a bit here." Aaron quickly chuckled at the irony that came next. "You would think that being born blind, I'd have a better sense of direction, though that not really the case here, as you can see."

Aaron sighed. "I don't worry about it too much. Once I'm a Hydreigon, That little problem will be fixed. Until then, I have my partner to teach me how to navigate better."

Jak looked around for a moment. "So, did you need help finding anything in town? I may not know where everything is... However, I do know where a lot of stuff is." Jak offered as he looked towards Joey who seemed to be alright with the idea. He knew Joey didn't have to go to the guild right away. So it might be a good idea to show this pokemon around town if they needed it that is.

"If you don't mind me asking... But how do you navigate?" the little pichu asked with a curious expression on his face. Jak was wondering the same thing, however he didn't feel the need to ask that question.

The spiritomb had popped out of his stone once more to look at the group of pokemon. They hadn't noticed him yet, however he was losing it... Those two pokemon being so close... He had to do something. The rock was now a little ways past the edge of the corner. It would be noticeable to those who can recognize the slightest changes in the environment.

Aaron pondered around The fire type's question. "Well, I would like to find A general store to do some trading... What else?" Aaron tapped his foot, think about other places he could go. "Ah! Is there any other hot spots in this town? Like the fountain." If he could just memorize all of the town's famous locations, He would easily find he way around town. The little electric Pokemon's question caught Aaron off guard for a bit. "Oh, well... errr. I use my nose to smell certain Pokemon scent like yours, Pichu. Thing is though, I can only use this to know when a Pokemon is nearby or identifying them. Other then that, I can't really navigate with that alone. My partner is teaching me about... *Ahem.* Echolocation, but its rather complicated to explain, and I'm struggling with it at the moment. How the hell other Deinos could manage this better then I could I'll never know..."

Though he blamed himself for not taking his parents seriously when they try to teach him how to navigate blinded.

Jak thought for a moment at the question about there being other hotspots in town. "Well, this one would be the biggest... Another one, however It isn't always heavily populated would be the pond Just outside of town.. The last one I would think is the guild." Jak stated informatively.

Joey seemed to nod at the statement. "Echo location? You use sounds or something?" the pichu asked in addition to the deino's response.

Then the pichu answered the deino's question about a general store for trading. "There are stores all around this place... I don't know if there is one that has many items all in one place though..." the little pichu added.

In the mean time the spiritomb that had been stalking them decided that it was started to get late... The point in the day people will start coming through the town... A rather big annoyance since he is now wanted.. So he quickly departed the area.
urrgh. Stupid... Its getting late... he yelled at himself mentally.

Aaron shock his head as soon as Jak mentioned all of the famous location in town. "That won't help me much when I need to walk around in this town. Thanks for letting me know anyway." The Deino sighed. "I suppose I need to get into town more. The more I do it, the better I am getting to places.

Aaron took note of the electric type's next question. "That the gist of it. To sum it up, I use noise to see how close a something is, Like a wall, or a Pokemon, or something like that. The whole processes of learning it is rather hard." As soon as he answered that, the Pichu answered his store question. "So each store has it own specific things to sell? That's rather useful to know actually, thanks." If the hot spot Idea won't work, then memorizing each store might prove beneficial.


All the time he was talking to them, Aaron never knew their names. "We haven't introduce each other have we? Since we're guild mates, it only make sense. I'm Aaron." Aaron extended it paw towards the two, beckoning a hand- err pawshake.

Jak sighed as it turned out his answer about the hot spots in the town was not of any use to the dragon type. "Umm. your welcome... Sorry the info wasn't of much use to you." Jak responded. Jak then looked towards Joey as he had asked about echo location. Seeming the pichu took a wild guess asking if it related to sound. Which it actually did turn out to be that way. Jak was actually a bit impressed with that bit of info.

"Sounds tricky." Jak commented on the process the Deino stated for echo location. "My names Joey!" he said with a bright smile. "I currently am not part of the guild, however my name is Jak." Jak responded. "He is my best friend" the little pichu jumped in.

Jak smiled as the pichu seemed pretty happy at the moment.

"Aaron chuckled when Jak apologize about failing to provide any useful information. "Don't worry to much about it ok? The Pichu here actually gave me some alternatives.." Now that he knows about the whole store Thing, it a matter of getting there and memorizing it. Sounds tricky Jak commented. He have no idea. To this day, he still can't figure out how the whole thing works. Obviously he must of doing it differently then he supposed to, how else would he keep on failing. Aaron sighed back and replied "You can say that again." When it was time for them to introduce themselves, The Pichu started first, Announcing his name as Joey. When it was the fire type's turn, He claimed that he wasn't part of the guild. He would call himself Jak and according to Joey, They're best of friends. "Well then, nice to meet you.

Its getting pretty late, everyone was waking up and starting a new day. "I don't think I have time to explore anymore. Could you take me to the guild? I can follow your smell." Aaron's head turned to Joey. "Since your in the guild, we should chat sometimes."
