| First topic message reminder :---- Group's Current State ---- The air felt still in the quiet room; it gave off an eerie vibe. The silence, the calm, the open space.... it was all such a big contrast to what'd just happened. That coupled with anticipation was almost enough to unnerve the psychotic, fractured mind of the glaceon in the room.... Almost. If it were Sova, it would have most certainly made him feel uneasy at the very least, but as stated earlier, the mind of the glaceon was fractured. There were two pieces, and the one currently in control was not going to be so easily intimidated by a mere room. S.S. began to grin in anticipation nearing the center of the room. He could hardly restrain himself from carelessly dumping the contents of his bag to get at the music box and wind it up. Instead, he decided to lay down in the center of the room as he waited for the rest of his group to catch up. Maybe they needed a break.... but did he really care? He stuck his injured paw into his bag.... then paused for a moment. He didn't know quite how bad the little paw injury was since he'd been suppressing his pain reflex. He didn't know if he was making it worse, and he didn't know if it could take the stress of his constant romping around. Of course, the pain was still there. He'd just been.... ignoring it. Suppressing it. He decided to really feel it for a moment, just to check, and.... well, it hurt. However, it mostly felt sore, not like it was about to break. Now the rest of his body was a different story! His entire body stung from some of the hits he and his weaker half - mostly said weaker half - had sustained. He felt a bit tired still despite having allowed himself to relax too, but that part wasn't news. He wasn't in the greatest shape in the world, but there it wasn't too severe as far as he could tell. Most of the injuries were minor, they just.... added up. The only major ones were the paw and a cut under his right eye that he could feel stinging despite it having been a while ago. This settled it; Sova had just passed out from exhaustion coupled with shock due to pain. Or.... well, was it really passing out? Either way, all that mattered was that his body was still capable of fighting for him, which it was. He wasn't in perfect condition by any means, but after a short rest, he'd be capable of fighting just as well as usual. Although he still didn't know for sure whether any more fighting would be done or not. He very much wanted to find out, though, which led his thoughts back to the music box. His paw was already in the bag, so.... he just.... went right on ahead and pulled the box out. He stared down at the box, temptation to wind it up rising, but he resisted. Just a few more minutes and he'd be able to sate his desire. It interested him so much, in fact, that he no longer cared about tormenting Jak. (So, you guys wanna have a timeskip for a silent, awkward break, then wind the box up? Or just a few posts of chitchat? I'm hoping I'm not the only one who doesn't fancy spending a whole lot of time on this. Could just have this be a short, 4 post thread.) | |

| Jak 5As the ice type had slid underneath him during its attack. Jak quickly slapped his tail in a circular motion, downward and out… hitting the glaceon away from him. Jak quickly glanced towards Varda to see if he was doing alright and returned his focus on the fox. The cold wind stung him to a degree when the ice type had passed under him. When Varda asked if Sova was losing it, Jak quickly responded just before deciding that he was going to have to incapacitate S.S somehow. “It isn’t Sova! Just defend yourself!” he shouted as he swung his tail in front of him, the flame trailing along with it. He quickly unleashed another torrent of flame towards the ice type, this time passing through the previous flame that had trailed his tail, giving it a slight boost in power. He still was holding back somewhat, but this time the flames were plenty to be painful at this point. It wasn’t his fault at this point, he was being forced to fight back. Having no choice but to engage. He had to think of a plan before he either, A: hurts the fox, or B: he fails to stop S.S. If the ice type decides to attack him again, either head on or indirectly. Jak was going to jump up and fly. This being his first flight, it might not be a very long one… just being long enough to get out of the way of an attack. | |

| S.S. ignored Varda's naive question and started up with another wave of maniacal giggles as the great, mighty pacifist finally decided to try to hurt him. This was a start, the two seemed to be beginning to comprehend the situation they were in.... but now it was time to see if there was any bark behind Jak's bite. Unlike most Ice-types, he wasn't afraid of playing fire; rather than trying to avoid the fire, he stood his ground. Wind began to pick up around him and the ice crystals that continued to follow him wherever he went were swept up into the funnel, quickly turning into a blizzard. The fire hit it, and at first, it was blown away by the wind. Just for good measure, he blew a cloud of Frost Breath into the fire as well. This, coupled with the Blizzard, snuffed the flames out despite the type disadvantage.
"You'll never beat me if you don't attack with intent to kill," he spoke up in reference to the disappointing attack, a bit of boredom present if one could hear past the mania. He was pretty sure Jak was still holding back, and so.... he supposed he would have to kick the party off instead. As much as he wanted to see what the overgrown lizard had to offer before starting to really try to kill him, well.... that just wasn't going to do. He reached a paw into his bag and grabbed another seed before tossing it into the air and catching it into his mouth, swallowing it.
Maybe at first it would appear the seed had done nothing, but oh, it had most certainly done something. The blizzard swirling around him all suddenly dispersed, somewhat like an explosion; the freezing wind and snow was sent flying in all directions outward, this time with full intention to hit and hurt both of the others in the room. But he wasn't done there, oh no! His body shifted to the left, once more appearing as if he were about to fall. He then stumbled backward a bit as he got used to the changes the two seeds had made to his body.... and he disappeared. Or at least, that was how it would have appeared to an untrained eye. In reality, he was just moving very, VERY fast.
The glaceon was not planning on using his new boost in movement speed from the Quick seed as a defensive advantage, though. Instead, he darted to the right just to make it difficult to track him, then straight at Jak. He spun around as he reached the lizard, who hadn't gotten nearly enough time to react to what he'd just done, and he cartwheeled backward once more. This time, the momentum from his speed boosts was more than enough to make the attack hurt despite him being physically weak, but that wasn't it. The air he'd whipped up with his movements turned into a freezing wind-slash once more after a momentary delay, one that was aimed to lift the charizard into the air. He planned to pull Jak back down into the ground just as he'd done the last time he'd used this tactic, and so he was staying nearby.

| Varda was shocked when he heard the revelation. Sova wasn't… Sova?! He had no idea! Who else would it be then? That… Esses he had met before? He didn't really know Esses, but that person hadn't seemed like… This, either. Besides, he had only seen this Esses once they came to the mansion, which was after the sky went dark and Pokémon started turning weird. Did an Esses come because of that? Would everyone end up with one in them that then turned them into weird, aggressive Pokémon? It was the best explanation the bird could come up with!
They couldn't hurt Sova. That much was clear – or at least the Altaria hoped that it was clear to Jak, as the other Pokémon really was the one doing the fighting! The gust of wind generated by the large dragon's wings, pushed Varda back, sending some dust into his mouth that he was forced to cough out. There was cold, there was ice, there was fire and warmth… And then an explosion of freezing wind of ice followed, cutting into the bird even though he tried to protect his body with his fluffy feathers. It softened the blow in some places, but it still hurt.
"Sova!" Varda chirped as loudly as he could when he pulled his head out of his wings. The Glaceon had disappeared somewhere, but that wasn't why he was calling out. It was still cold, so even though he couldn't see the Pokémon… He still had to be there, right? At least he thought he saw a flash of blue now and then. "Come back, Sova!"

| Jak 5 Status Fresh and still strong
Jak watched as his flame was blown out from the combination of different winds that came rushing towards him. He closed his wings around himself to shield himself from the frozen mix of air. Just as it was picking up, he heard the glaceon state that he was never going to beat it if he didn’t attack with an intent to kill. This disgusted Jak, he wasn’t going to kill a friend. No, he wasn’t… he was going to find a way to bring his real friend back. “That is where you are wrong… Just stop now.”Just before the wind stopped, Jak noticed the ice type got something out and ate it rather quickly. What happened next came by surprise to him. The wind suddenly stopped and exploded outward everywhere. Once more, he shielded himself briefly from the initial blast of air. However, as he opened his wings up, he couldn’t find the glaceon. A flicker occurred, and Jak quickly looked towards it to see the glaceon had already closed its distance on him on his side. Jak prepared to jump and take off, but the attack already began. The ice type flipped and sent its tail slashing upwards as it whipped the air up in a slashing motion. The air stung him, but it helped him gain lift with his wings. He took off, and immediately began spewing out a larger torrent of flame at S.S. This time, he put quite a bit of power to it. It wasn’t enough to kill anything, but it was definitely enough fire to do some serious damage. He used this flame to give himself a further boost as he took off, while leaving the flames spread out along the floor. Anything that was underneath him and nearby was going to be incinerated by the flames. As the flames got close to the ground, they seemed to spread out just before hitting it. It seemed S.S had started using his ice breath to combat the flame. Only problem was… it was quickly being overpowered. Note: Ending paragraph was added in partly in collaboration.

| S.S. could hear Sova's name being called, but he didn't care. But, oh, if the bird was still confused as to who he was.... that was because he'd never truly gotten to give the annoyance a proper greeting. But, he would take things one at a time, and right now, he was focused on Jak. His attack was successful just as he'd hoped, though instead of coming back down to be hit again like he'd hoped, the charizard instead used the wind he'd whipped up to lift into the air. Then came the fire, which he wasn't prepared to dodge. He hadn't accounted for the fact the Jak had wings now.... well, oh well.
The glaceon took in a quick breath and blew out at the fire, sending a haze of frost out at it. However, this time the fire actually had some force behind it; enough to overwhelm the Frost Breath rather quickly. The fire exploded into him, obscuring him from view for a moment, and perhaps one would think he was defeated.... until his giggling rang out once more, quickly rising into cackling. The fire began to seemingly just snuff out as wind began to swirl around the glaceon once more, the temperature dropping and overcoming the flames. Within moments, the fire was gone and the blue figure of the glaceon was revealed once more. Some of his spiked armor was melted off and his fur was slightly singed in places where it was as such, but the fire hadn't seemed to do much to him. At least, it hadn't done what one would likely expect for an Ice-type.
"Better, that one actually hit me. But it's still a letdown for a mighty dragon," he said as he paused his giggles, with a condescending tone. The wind was still swirling around him, and now it was beginning to gain size. The current was pulling downward toward the floor, and snow was beginning to form within it. It was already making it difficult to see him assuming he remained within it, and within a few seconds, the whole room would be engulfed in the blizzard. Leaving Jak to have some fun with his little snowstorm, he then turned his attention to Varda. The poor, naive bird.... needed to be shown just who he really was.
"You two are dragons, act like it!" he exclaimed as his armor flash-froze back into its normal form. He bolted toward the bird as fast as he could go, which was considerably fast at the moment. When he neared Varda, he spun his tail around in preparation to slam it into the bird's chest. But that wasn't all; a black orb formed in front of his tail in the split seconds it took him to make these movements, then turned to a dark red color. He was channeling a Shadow Ball with his tail, and he was intending on slamming it right into Varda at point-blank along with his tail. Sure, the explosion would probably hurt him too, but he didn't care!
If Jak didn't want to hurt him because it would hurt an "innocent," being Sova.... then he would just make it so a different innocent got hurt otherwise. Maybe he'd even provoke Varda into actually fighting back while he was at it! Of course, that was assuming the altaria could even withstand this attack plus the blizzard.

| A blast of fire came from above, soon turning the room into a rather warm place to be! The battle between ice and fire and the resulting temperature shifts were rather extreme, going from freezing cold to scorching how depending on which Pokémon was attacking! Icy attack responded to the fires, but this time, it seemed like the fire won. An explosion of elements clouded parts of the room, eating up the Glaceon. "Aah, Sova!" Varda's voice called out, of course worried that something might have happened, but…
More ice came, extinguishing the flames. It was Sova. Yes, he wouldn't get hurt by that. Maybe. Probably. Not in this case. At least this time. It was… Good. Yes, good. The bird felt better, more relaxed. A sigh of relief escaped his beak. Now, it all would have been fine and good if the freezing wind didn't pick up once more, growing stronger and faster. Much too strong and fast actually, becoming a swirling storm in the manner of seconds – and it was cold! The cold winds buffeted Varda, the ice and snow in the air both freezing and like little shards of glass as they slapped against his soft bits. And he was pretty much made of soft bits.
It was hard to see too, the visibility blocked both by the white blanket of snow and the fact that one had to blink and squint a lot so the ice wouldn't hurt soft squishy eyeballs. And the Altaria could feel his eyelashes freezing together now and then. He hobbled backwards, both because the wind forced him to move and because, well, he wanted to get further away from it! Not that he really knew where he would even go, in this case.
He could hear Sova's voice despite the wind that was quickly becoming louder. Looking up, there he was. The Glaceon was running towards him, quite fast. Yet, everything seemed a little slow from Varda's point of view, the sound of his own breathing seeming to overcome the other voices. His legs, he could still move them. It was cold, it was painful and he was tired, but he knew he could move them. Not in time, though. His own movements too seemed to be just as slow as the rest of the world.
But he could extend his wings. As Sova came closer, the bird's wings stretched to their full length… Before wrapping around the Glaceon softly.

| Jak 5 Status Spewin flames
As Jak flew upwards after finishing his onslaught of flame below him. He heard the ice type’s voice once more, taunting him about being a letdown for a dragon. As the fox said this, Jak only let out of puff of smoke from his nostrils as he continued to fly up. However, just before he was ready to sweep back down, the wind began to pick up. The snow started to fall with the wind as his vision was starting to go foggy from the impending storm. Just before his vision was completely gone in the white out, he attempted to memorize the location of where S.S was and where he was heading. Spotting him below, he noticed he started darting off in a certain direction. Its speed was incredibly fast… only noticing the bird further down the direction he was heading. The wind shifted and Jak lost his flight path, quickly trying to correct it. The wind continued to beat on him. He was fighting a losing battle with it, and he had to get down on the ground fast. However, he also had to stop S.S from reaching Varda! He quickly angled his wings so he could dive towards the direction of bird. Jak continued his decent, once he closed some distance between the ice type. He immediately unleashed his flames. His flames barely had time to reach the ice type due to its speed. He eventually had to stop as he was going to wind up setting the fluffy bird afire also. At this point, there was no way for him to reach the bird in time to stop S.S’s attack. As he continued his flight towards the two, the wind continued to buffet his wings. Each gust pulled him another direction, increasing the difficulty in maintaining his path, never slowing down… he was going to have a hard landing.

| S.S. could feel the warmth of fire near him as he approached the altaria, but it wasn't quite fast enough to catch him. Then, instead of trying to move or even brace for the attack, the silly bird exposed his chest in an attempt to.... hug.... what. The glaceon paid no mind to this, ignoring the wings that were trying to wrap their way around him. Not that it would have done much to restrain him, but he was faster anyway. The wings began to brush against his spiked armor just as his tail collided with Varda's chest, and the resulting explosion of red, ghastly smoke was powerful enough to send him flying back through the bird's wings and tumbling to the ground. Shattered pieces of his armor coated the ground around him, and as he quickly pulled himself up, even more cracked and broken pieces of the ice-exoskeleton were shed.
While he'd managed to successfully injure himself in his attack, the more important question was whether or not he'd hurt Varda.... and he was confident he had. The altaria was kicked off his talons and sent back and into the ground by the explosion, as well as likely having the glaceon's quills scratch the unprotected wings that'd been nearly completely wrapped around him. However, the full extent of the damage was something he couldn't tell. At least, not until the bird got back up.... or didn't.
His body rose back up almost as if he were a puppet, seeming.... fake, like something not of this world. The disturbing manner in which he moved kept up as he wobbled in the opposite direction of Jak, giggling the entire time. His sights were now set on the charizard once more. In a flash, he was moving once more, this time directly toward Jak. He was going to try and play a little game of chicken with the "mighty dragon." If Jak didn't notice him or merely tried to land, he was going to see just how much damage he could do as a battering ram. In the event of a flamethrower, he was prepared to duck or move. And if the charizard decided to play his game of chicken.... he'd just move at the last moment and allow Jak to crash into the floor.
His fur flash-froze back to its armored state as he ran. The blizzard continued to howl, and the wind currents shifted to press down on the ground a bit less to help him run. Maybe now that he'd just laid Varda out, Jak would take him a bit more seriously! Maybe now those two would finally understand they needed to fight like their lives depended on it!

| Something sharp scratched against Varda's wings, but he didn't mind much. It hurt a little, managing to get past his fluffy feathers and open the skin… Honestly, he would have been more shocked by the cold if the room currently wasn't so freezing that his toes were starting to go numb again. And then, an explosion. It was centered on the bird and the Glaceon, knocking the former off his feet and he landed on his back some distance away. He didn't know if the explosion or the impact of his back hitting the floor caused him to expel the air out of his lungs, but he was out of breath now.
And he saw the stars. The beautiful twinkling little lights in the darkness. At some point, it seemed like he managed to catch his breath, his chest rising and falling normally. The feeling of cold returned, forcing the Altaria to stir and open his eyes. Above, he could see the dark clouds through the occasional gaps in the snowy blanket swirling above him, hearing nothing but the howl of the wind.
Lazily, his eye peered to the side, seeing some motion. The flame of the large dragon Pokémon was glowing even through the snow that forced to swallow them, flicking through the air… It looked kind of inviting. But the cold was once again starting to get unbearable, so Varda could not stay still and risk freezing. Carefully, he started lifting himself off the ground, his wings tingling as he did so.
"So–" The bird started to call out, but his voice wasn't strong enough. Clearing his throat, he tried again. "Sova!" Varda chirped as loud as he could, trying to overpower the wind.

| Jak 5 Status Flight
Jak watched as the explosion occurred before he landed. Varda was hit and was now on the ground. He couldn’t make it in time. What was more upsetting is the fact that Varda seemed like such an innocent bird, completely devoid of any kind of hostility within his nature. Now seconds away from landing next to the duo he felt as if he was drawn to something… something within his bag as he approached the spot he was going to land. This distracted him for a moment, and the wind quickly brought him down. Jak crashed into the ground a few yards away from the two. After the hard crash, Jak looked up towards the direction where he last saw the ice type, only to see it charging towards him at full speed. Jak had no reaction time to dodge the oncoming attack, varda's voice shouting out Sova as the non Sova fox went towards its target, he started blasting his flamethrower towards the ice type. As he did so, the moving pincushion avoided it as it continued to approach rapidly. Instead of stopping his flame from his failed attack, he brought the torrent towards the ground and ignited all of his surroundings, beginning to flap his wings as he blew the fire in the general direction of the fox. This stopped the fox, causing him to jump back. “Finally learning how to have fun?” S.S spoke out before resuming his unsettling laughter as the sound echoed through the storm. Jak stopped his attack and prepared himself, carefully grabbing a seed from his bag. What he planned next wasn’t going to be too much help. However, he was ready… he didn’t think the fire was going to hold the glaceon back for long, so he planned on smashing the seed on the ground as he takes off. This particular seed, being rather explosive in the matter. It might hurt a bit, but he was going to use it to get back into the air… it would work right? “…or are you still holding back!?” the twisted ice type boomed as he bolted through the flames that surrounded Jak. Just as he did so, Jak threw the seed at the ground as he jumped up and began flapping his wings. Note: Post has been collaboratively worked on for paragraphs 2 and 3.

| A counter-attack? S.S. was glad to see this was finally turning into a real fight, but he wasn't going to simply let himself be hit, so he merely stepped out of the way of the attack. As he did so, he heard the voice of the bird he'd just finished laying out.... calling for Sova. It was impressive to him that Varda was still able to speak, but what was more impressive was the fact that the altara apparently still thought he was Sova! He didn't miss a beat as he continued on toward the charizard, but a sudden spray of fire across the ground made him reconsider. He stopped as suddenly as he could, skidding into the fire a bit before jumping out of the way of it. It hadn't been enough to melt his armor, but he could feel that it was hot. It was getting hotter.... which meant maybe Jak was finally starting to understand!
"Finally learning how to have fun?" he questioned, though he didn't expect a response. He instead bolted back into the fire, shouting out "....Or are you still holding back!?" as he ran. It was hot, but as he'd expected, it wasn't quite hot enough. As long as he didn't stay in it for very long, he doubted it would even melt his armor! Then it happened; a bright, loud, and sudden explosion. Right in front of his face. The sounds of his armor shattering could be faintly heard through the blast, and he was sent flying backward, almost out of the fire entirely.
The glaceon had been knocked off-center and was going to slam into the ground on his side if he did nothing. He would land the fire and, worse, his guard would be down.... but that was a weakness that he was not going to succumb to. He began to force his body into a spin just before he landed on the ground, causing him to tumble and distribute the force of the impact rather than just slam into the floor. As soon as his rolling reached his legs, he outstretched and spread them to stop himself, then lifted himself back up. He was now standing in the fire the charizard had created, but there was one significant difference from earlier.... His armor was gone.
He looked around at the fiery mess before him, beginning to feel the heat against his body in the form of an unpleasant tingle. While it was hurting a bit more than that, he was suppressing his body's pain reflex. The fire began to die down rather quickly from the temperature forcibly dropping, and any flames that touched him seemed to simply extinguish themselves due to his body temperature. By now, it wasn't hot enough to be worth his time trying to avoid; it'd already died down too much to hurt him. Sure, maybe he was starting to feel it, and maybe it was preventing his ice armor from reforming, but it was a pain he was pretty sure his body could endure. However.... for some odd reason, he was beginning to feel.... a bit lightheaded? Was the fire actually that bad....?
No.... this wasn't the fire. Was he pushing his weak body too far? No, that couldn't be it either. The combined energizing from the two seeds he'd eaten hadn't worn off yet; he could still feel the buzz. He merely shook the strange feeling of lightheadedness off as another red orb formed in front of his face. He looked up and the orb followed his gaze.... then it fired straight at the charizard. He expected Jak to counter this simple attack, and he wasn't wrong; the dragon breathed a wave of fire down at him, resulting in a red haze of an explosion that obscured the two from each other's view. Then the mistake was made on Jak's part.... in cutting the stream of fire.
That was too bad. With Jak's line of sight being obscured.... how would he prepare himself for the second one?
(Note: For the sake of writing appeal, I left the end of my post vague, but S.S. fired a second Shadow Ball the second their vision of each other was obscured and the stream of fire was cut. And again collaborative post 'n whatnot. Just assume everything is collaborative at this point.)

| Varda never got a response. Instead, there was… An explosion. A bright flash, followed by a loud sound, knocking out some of the ceramic items that had somehow managed to stay on the shelves despite everything that had happened in the room and causing them to shatter into tiny pieces. There was dust in the air, and… Fire. Well, the fire had been there before, considering that one of the Pokémon involved in this mess had the ability to breathe it everywhere. Instinctively, the bird had shielded himself, not having really suffered the force of the explosion. But…
Sova was in there, wasn't he? That had to hurt! And now, he was in the middle of all those flames! ...Seeing where the icy fox was was actually kind of easy, as the cold temperatures Sova could create with his body were constantly fighting against the heat of the flames, suppressing the ones closest to him. Still, this was going way too war!
Flames or not, the Altaria would much rather risk them than let everything continue this way. He much rather threw himself into the fire than the ice, too. Varda tried to walk, his legs feeling like some kind of awkward frozen stilts as he hobbled and built up a little bit of speed before spreading his wings. Everything hurt and he could barely generate enough lift to get off the ground, but he managed to glide closer faster than he would if he tried to waddle there.
A burning feeling in the bird's throat released itself as a blast of multicolored energy shot out of his mouth, at the shadowy ball the Glaceon had tried to hit Jak with. All he really needed to try was to push it aside and change its trajectory, so it would be harmless to them. With that, Varda landed on the floor, barely able to actually land on his feet in the middle of the fire. It was an odd feeling, feeling the extreme heat of the fire yet at the same time, the could feel how parts of the room were radiating the extreme cold. "Why are we fighting?"

| Jak 5 Status Flight
Jak let loose a torrent of fire to counter the first Shadow Ball, but the resulting explosion prompted him to cut the flames for fear of accidentally harming the glaceon. A bad move on Jak’s part as a second shadowball seemed to follow up behind it shortly after. As the ball quickly approached him in the smoke, another explosion occurred. The only thing Jak saw before the second explosion was a flash of light that seemed to have many colors. Jak continued to maintain his position in the sky of the large room as he watched. "Why are we fighting?" Varda asked after stopping the shadowball from hitting its mark. Jak was fairly certain this question already had an answer that was plainly visible... at least to him. "Violence breeds violence, hate breeds hate... death breeds death. We're all just playing our parts," the glaceon responded with a matter-of-fact tone, as if what he was saying was just some fundamental law of the universe. As the smoke from the explosions cleared, it revealed the fox to now have his sights set on the bird once more. Another of the red orbs of shadow formed, and this time, it was aimed right at the innocent bird. S.S. seemed a bit calmer than just moments ago, maybe even... distracted. The persistent, deranged giggling had subsided for the time-being, leaving the windy void of the blizzard to fill the void that was left. As Jak listened to S.S's response to Varda's question, he continued to have trouble spotting the fox through the smoke from the previous explosions. Eventually the smoke cleared just as the fox began his next attack... an attack that caught him by some surprise. He started going after Varda, simply because the bird had saved him? Jak couldn't just sit there as the p Sychotic Sova fox went after the fluffy flying type. Another one of those dark red orbs would soon be on its way toward Varda and there wasn't much he could do at all to stop it. The amount of distress rose within the fire type... as it did so, eventually an object began to glow within his bag. A certain stone, one that he had picked up near a volcano due to his attraction towards this odd stone. The light of the stone shown many colors as it glowed. As the stone began to glow, eventually a link was quickly established between Jak and the stone. The rainbow colored light quickly enveloped him as it began to change his body. After evolving once already, was it much of a surprise that his body began to change again? Pfft, more collaborations. This is a nice one! | S.S' bloodlust was stopped once more by the bird, his second Shadow Ball being intercepted in mid-air. There was no more fire.... Jak had been caught off-guard like he'd hoped.... Jak was going to be hit, and the annoying ball of cotton had stopped his attack! His gaze falling to the altaria, and for once, the maniacal giggles didn't start up. He seemed to almost fall to the right before catching himself, tilting his head to the left and starting off slowly walking toward the bird. "Violence breeds violence, hate breeds hate... death breeds death. We're all just playing our parts," he spoke, and while perhaps it seemed like he was just making another psychotic "joke," for once.... he was serious.
Sova had been born to a loving family, taught how to live, taught how to fight, how to survive, how to socialize.... and while S.S. knew all these things as well, no one taught him. He had not been "born," and most certainly not out of love. If anything, he'd been "born" out of negativity. Hate. Violence. Death. He'd come into being due to Sova's weakness, the product of unimaginable negativity.... He was quite proud of this, and thus, he was more than happy to share this information with others. Besides, Varda at least deserved to have his question answered before what came next.
Another of the red Shadow Balls began to form in front of the glaceon's face as he stared at the altaria. However, for some reason, he was being a bit slower than usual. His head.... he was still having trouble thinking straight. Maybe it was because the situation was boring him? Considering the other two were trying so hard not to kill him, it was no surprise that it was a bit dull. He honestly felt like Jak could hurt him with the proper motivation, and maybe Varda could even give him some trouble, but neither of them had any.... bloodlust.
Then, as if his wish had been granted, the charizard began to glow. But charizard were incapable of evolving further, so.... oh. This was the thing with the rocks. Okay. His giggles crept back as he watched the glow, but he then stopped to look back at the bird. The swirling winds of the blizzard rapidly died down, the snow beginning to drift to the ground as he cut his own attack. His Shadow Ball dissipated as well, also being canceled. "You stay here and be good, now; mommy and daddy need to have a talk," he spoke to the bird whom he viewed as very childlike. Then he began walking away from the altaria, keeping his eyes on Jak the entire time.
"Give me your all and I won't hurt him.... as long as he stays out of the way," he promised. And despite his nature, he was telling the truth. However, if Jak didn't come at him with everything, he intended to start the blizzard right back up.

| Varda tilted his head. He didn't get it. Was it a poem? A puzzle? Some kind of cryptic hint he had to solve? This was starting to be way too much for one day, he already had to think of something that was stronger than glue that would fix the teacup world and now this! But… It was important. He knew that. His confusion turned into determination, fueling his need to solve all this. The bird's beady eyes looked at the Glaceon and glinted, almost as if making a promise that he would figure it all out sooner or later.
But he was prepared for the ball Sova created, his own throat burning with energy he could release at any moment. But the ball never came. It dissipated as a bright light shone from the side, causing both the Glaceon and the Altaria to look at the source. It was… Jak! The dragon seemed to look a bit different now? A bit more… Well, Varda didn't know how to describe it. Jak was more similar than different, but still different somehow. A new hairstyle?!
Ah, but Jak didn't have hair…
The wind had stopped and the blizzard stopped roaring. The bird was quite easily brushed to the side, but that was when he got it. The piece of the puzzle, his eyes growing larger and brighter as the realization hit him. "Ah, no, Jak, don't do it!" Varda chirped out, jumping forward, "I got it now! He said it himself! You can't do a violence because then there would be more! Instead, we must use the forbidden technique of love!" He continued, looking and sounding more pumped than he had ever before. Spreading his wings, the Altaria struck a pose. "The…" The bird started, as if hesitating to say the rest, "The kiss!"
