| » Name: Geo » Gender: Physically male, identifies as a female » Species: Sylveon » Affiliation/Rank: hopeful guildmember, ninja
» Why do you want to adopt them?: She seems like an interesting character, with her gender issues and her obsession with becoming a ninja. I have never played a gender fluid or transexual character before, and I'd like to challenge myself and my writing skills by trying a unique character like that. (Also sylveon is adorable *squee*)
» Sample of roleplay:
Geo hummed thoughtfully as she stared around the forest from her perch, high up in a tree, where no one could see her. She was practicing her skills as a ninja by observing the world around her, hidden from view. Even if anyone bothered to look up -which she found many pokemon didn't- she was hidden behind clusters of leaves. Though her pink and white fur would certainly stand out against the green. Perhaps she ought to cover herself in leaves or smear mud over her fur?
But the thought of mud all over her clean fur made him wrinkle his nose. She might have once been a male, but even as a male the thought of having caked mud all over her body hadn't settled right with her.
That brought to mind the conversation she'd had with Sova, the glaceon, in this very forest. They'd discussed how she'd come to be a Sylveon and her confusion over her apparent gender change. Apparently she was still physically a male, but she didn't feel like a male; she felt and looked feminine.
That was what mattered the most, though, wasn't it? What she felt mentally, rather than her physical body? She felt comfortable as a female, rather than a male, so that was how she would continue to think about herself, regardless of what other pokemon would think about her.
Her evolution had allowed her some more clarity of thought. It didn't matter what other pokemon thought of her as long as she was comfortable and happy with herself. Not only with her gender, but also with her fascination with becoming a ninja. Now that she was no longer caring about what other pokemon would think upon seeing her, she was able to set aside the fear of being seen, and actually train her ninja skills. This did great for her ability to leap from tree to tree, plus her ribbons were a nice fail-safe to catch her if she did accidentally fall.
