Pilot gazed ahead at the sickeningly sweet forest of Pecha. It was a common location for rookies to train, which is exactly why he chose to go there several days prior... However, that trip hadn't ended very well. The tiny Taillow shuddered when he recalled being exploded on by a Pineco, and then subsequently getting poisoned by an Exeggcute... Indeed, he had been defeated by two tiny forest critters, and now he was back for vengeance. To say that he was bitter about his failure in the forest would be an understatement. Since his terrible Pecha Forest expedition, the small bird Pokemon had become much stronger, and now he was going to prove himself by finally getting through the "easy" dungeon.
While he was confident that he could conquer the rookie's dungeon alone, Pilot couldn't help but feel a bit lonely. Maybe it was because he had grown accustomed to always having a partner with him during his explorations... Not that he missed Hidon specifically. Well, it shouldn't be too hard to find someone else in here, Pilot thought to himself, remembering how quickly he had found a temporary partner the last time he had been in the dungeon. "Hey, anyone here?" He chirped, trying to attract the attention of any other rookie explorers in the forest. Of course, he was also attracting feral Pokemon in the process...

| OOC: Okay guys, while before I didn't see why we needed a posting order, this last page was a complete mess. Ideally, we're all supposed to have 3 posts per page, and both MC and I didn't get the chance to post more than once. This is exactly what the mods warned me about, and I regret not taking action sooner... It's pretty much my fault. Anyways, here's the posting order that I will be enforcing for this page:
Me, MC, Hydra, Scairlet, Evana
If you do not follow this order, your post will be removed. Sorry guys, I know that it's going to slow the thread down, but when two of us (Scairlet and Hydra) get 5 posts in and another two of us only get 1, there's an issue.
For a while, Pilot just laid there, moaning in pain. After all, there was a giant gash in his chest from being gored, and to make things worse, he had been poisoned. Finally gathering the strength to move, the Taillow opened his bag, and shakily grabbed a Pecha Berry from it. Wasting no time, he ate the berry, and almost instantly felt the poisons dissipate. Still, he was in a great amount of pain, and didn't have enough energy to get up. His vision was getting blurry, and it felt like every passing moment took an eternity to go by.
"Are you alright?"
Suddenly, there was a Minun (obviously male from the tone of its voice) in front of him. The electric Pokemon stood there, giving him an inquisitive look. Not wanting to appear weak, Pilot slowly got to his feet, and nodded. A pained expression was still visable on his face. As he was told that the Petrify Orb wouldn't last forever, the Taillow realized that the Minun had likely saved him. If it weren't for the Petrify Orb, things could've ended up much worse. "T-thanks..." Pilot told the mouselike Pokemon as an idea formed in his head. Well, before I do that, let's see if this guy can fight...

Raze nodded, seeing the Tailow get up. He still seemed pained, but at least he could stand. "You might want to get behind something, guys!" he called over to the three Pokémon fighting as he charged himself once more. The Nidos would be relieved of their petrification, but it didn't matter at the moment. He took a slight aim towards the Murkrow near one of the Fenniken and released the blast. Thank god this bag is shockproof... he thought, still focused on the Discharge.
He couldn't tell who he had hit, but he could feel at least three connections through the channel. Suddenly, he was knocked a fair distance away from the origin of his attack, skidding to a stop on his arm. The culprit was a single Hoothoot who had burst in and struck the Minun."Damn, how many of these things are there?!" he yelled. He didn't want to risk Discharge again due to his lack of accuracy with the move, but at the same time disliked just supporting from a distance. Staring down the feral, he started to think of how he could possibly take it down.

Despite his extensive injuries, Lillian noticed Pilot get up. She wouldn't admit it, but she was slightly awed at his persistence and determination.
As Raze struck the ferals with a powerful Discharge attack, Lillian threw herself to the ground in an attempt to avoid being hit, slightly astonished at its strength. However, after the bright light from the Discharge dissipated, she noticed the presence of another Pokemon - a Hoothoot. In the next instant, Raze had been knocked to the ground. Fortunately, he appeared to be okay.
Wasting no time, Lillian sprang up to attack the nearest Pokemon, which happened to be the Hoothoot. She leapt up, slashing with her claws. However, flapping its wings strongly, it ascended out of her reach. Lillian landed on the ground, looking up at it. In that case, I'll use Ember instead, the Fennekin thought. She aimed her attack it, but it was easy for the Hoothoot to avoid her attacks while in flight. The embers grazed its side, dealing only a small amount of damage.

| [OOC: I’m also really sorry about posting too much in the last page. I won’t do it again.]
While Katsumi lay on the ground, winded from the Nidorino’s attack, a voice called out for the Pokemon to get behind something. The Dratini had no idea who this warning was intended for, but she still flattened herself to the ground.
Suddenly a bright flash filled the air before eventually disappearing. Katsumi’s eyes widened at the sheer power of the move. Urgh! I can’t be useless now when everyone’s using amazing moves like that! I have to fight!
Forcing her body to move, Katsumi slowly got to her feet to see the Nidorino and a new Nidorina charging at her. With the renewed determination to be significant to the battle, Katsumi used Thunderwave, hitting both feral Pokemon and paralysing them once again. It won’t last long but I can attack them while they’re paralysed!

| Cana heard someone yell a warning. She looked back to see Pilot had gotten up and the minun standing before it. He suddenly released a strong electric attack. The Fenniken was barely able to dodge it. The Murkrow just happened to try to attack her when he released the discharge and got hit. The Murkrow fell to the ground and fainted.
The Aipom on the other hand managed to dodge the attack and jumped at her. Having an enemy less it was a bit easier for her to concentrate on defeating it. She jumped at it and scratched it. The Aipom was pretty fast though and she had a hard time hitting him and avoiding his attacks. She managed to weaken it more with each hit though.

| OOC: Don't worry about it, Scairlet and Hydra. Like I said before, it's entirely my fault for not letting you guys know sooner.
"You might want to get behind something, guys!"
After dazedly staring at the Minun for a few moments, Pilot finally realized why he wanted them to take cover. Sparks crackled around the cheering Pokemon's body, indicating that he was about to use an electric type attack. Acting fast, Pilot dove behind a nearby tree, and watched as the Minun used Discharge. Uh, yeah, I think he can fight... The Taillow thought to himself, staring at the Minun in awe. Ever since he had been struck by lightning, electricity had always fascinated him. Perhaps it was because of the raw power that he associated with it... Regardless, the attack impressed him.
As he watched the battle unfold, Pilot continued to entertain the idea of inviting the Minun to his team. So he's good with items, he can fight... What more could I ask for? Well, I guess I have to see what he's like personality-wise. If I'm not going to like him, there's no point in having him on the team... The Taillow thought, before he snapped back into reality. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a Hoothoot, flying in the air. None of the others seemed to be able to reach it, and Pilot took this as an opportunity. Let's get back into this fight! He thought, still weakened by the Nidorino's attack.
Flapping his wings, Pilot elevated himself several meters above ground, and barreled towards the feral Hoothoot. He crashed into the owl Pokemon, and pile drived it to the ground, giving others the opportunity to attack it. Of course, if someone were to use an Electric attack on it, Pilot was still touching the Pokemon, so he would also get hit...

| {OOC: If I skipped the last part, there'd be Kentucky Fried Tailow. And sorry for not posting earlier, I had a conference. By the way, either one of you (Evana or Hydra) can take an action if I refer to "a Fenniken" until Raze learns names.}
Energy: 16
The Minun hesitated at the sight of the Tailow holding the Hoothoot down. Argh, get out of the way! he thought, not wanting the explorer to hear him. He worried that if he joined the guild and they were roommates, they would have a problem with that first impression. In a panic, he lowered his Discharge voltage enough to generate a decent Thunder Wave, releasing it to the Hoothoot. Luckily, Raze had mastered accuracy of Thunder Wave to specifically hit one target. "That should slow it down, I'm going to go help take down the others." he nodded.
Raze ran over to one of the Fenniken, the one that he assumed had received his Helping Hand. Just as he had before, he fired another towards his ally from the side. "You're welcome, by the way." he said with a smile. "Name's Raze, what's yours, m'lady?" He imagined it as a form of courtesy from one of his favorite stories, but only caught his mistake a few seconds after.

| Lillian noticed the Minun approaching her. Suddenly she felt herself receive a burst of power - he must have used Helping Hand on her. "...Thanks," Lillian said coolly. She listened as the Minun introduced himself, then faltered. He had called her... "m'lady"?! "My name's Lillian," she said to him coldly.
Without warning, she noticed a Nidorino approaching her from behind. It must have snapped out of its paralysis - but this quickly?! Lillian spun around, coming face to face with it. Quickly, out of instinct, she used an Ember attack on it. She could feel that this attack was particularly strong, thanks to the Helping Hand, and the Nidorino staggered. She knew that it was capable of using Leer, and judging from the way it was eyeing her now, it seemed like it was about to use it again. However, Lillian was prepared this time.
Lillian used her Magic Coat, absorbing the Nidorino's Leer, returning its gaze with her own steely stare - twice as powerful. The Nidorino faltered, and Lillian knew that she had lowered its Defence. It would be easier to defeat now. Lillian preferred to use special attacks, and knew that her attack was slightly weaker in comparison. Perhaps one of the others who had a strong physical attack would find this more useful.

| Charging in, the Dratini hardened her tail and rushed towards the paralysed Nidorina. She curled her iron tail and bashed it into the Nidorina. Even though the paralysis faded when the attack landed, the Nidorina still fell heavily onto the ground.
Whilst the Nidorina was getting up, Katsumi swiftly slid up to the Nidorina and wrapped her body around it. However, when Katsumi made contact with the Nidorina, the Nidorina used Poison Point, an ability that badly poisoned Katsumi.
Even though she was poisoned, Katsumi refused to let go, wildly trying to strangle the Nidorina whilst suffering from the effects of the poison.

| (Ooc: Only the hoothoot got paralyzed actually and I guess the poison in your case isn't going to affect your energy Scairlet since you didn't roll it. Hydra, I don't know when you want the tangela you rolled to appear? It will have to give you a sleep effect though when it does. You also found candy. Just a reminder)
Cana was still fighting the Aipom. She seemed to have weakened it down quite a bit. The purple pokemon didn't move around so fast anymore, but Cana was also a bit tired. She suddenly jumped on the Aipom and pinned it down. Of course the pokemon was trying to get free but she didn't let it. "Now you can't dodge this." Cana said before spitting an ember at it and making it faint.
The Fenniken sighed and stepped from the pokemon and looked at the others. Only three were left. She didn't really have that much energy to fight and honstly, did the others really need her help? The Taillow, named Pilot, was busy fighting the hoothoot. It seemed to be paralyzed. On the other hand, the Nidorino and Nidorina were still there. They did seem weaker then before but they are without a doubt pretty strong pokemon.

| When the Minun hit the wild Hoothoot with a Thunder Wave, Pilot flinched for a second, anticipating the attack to travel into his body. That moment never arrived, however, as the Minun's attack had been aimed precisely at the enemy. Breathing a sigh of relief, Pilot got up, and inspected the paralyzed owl Pokemon. It twitched wildly, trying to fight its status condition, but to no avail. I guess I should take it out now, Pilot thought, looking down at the feral. Using a strong peck attack on the side of its head, he knocked it unconscious in one well-placed hit.
Pilot was still in a considerable amount of pain from the gash in his chest, but he refused to let that slow him down. The resilient bird swiveled his head, searching for the remaining wild Pokemon...

Raze's own mortification turned him redder than Lillian's ear tufts. "Sorry, Lillian, b-but I didn't mean it like- Listen, it's not what it- I meant... Argh!" he stammered, trying to correct his mistake. "I'll explain later, let's just take down the rest of the ferals and chat afterwards." The Electric type had a mental facepalm as he ran off to find another battle.
Maybe I've done enough... I mean, we kinda did just win. he thought, noticing only a few ferals left. The Tailow had taken down the Hoothoot he had paralyzed, an Aipom had taken a beating from the other Fenniken, Lillian (Helping Hand and all) was busy with the Nidorino, and a Dratini had taken on the Nidorina. Meh, one more. Raze thought, firing another Helping Hand to the Dratini. Unfortunately, it left him drained and unable to launch another one without more strength.

| [OOC: Yup. I was planning to have the Tangela appear when we had defeated some of the ferals, so that there weren't too many ferals at once. Perhaps now would be a good time. Also, I already picked up the candy :) ]
[Energy: 7 + 1 (Natural Restoration) = 8]
Lillian blinked, looking over at Raze, who had run off. His face had been red. ... He was a strange one.
Glancing around, she realised that the others had managed to defeat the Hoothoot and the Aipom. The Nidorina and Nidorino were the only two Pokemon left. She spat another ball of fire at the Nidorino, immediately followed by a vicious slash of her claws. The Nidorino buckled under her attacks, and she knew that it was getting weaker. The Leer that she had reflected with her Magic Coat was definitely playing a part in this, too. It would faint after only one or two more attacks...
However, the Nidorino roared in anger and charged at Lillian. Unable to dodge in time, Lillian was thrown into a nearby bush. Suddenly, as she tried to get to her paws, she felt vines creeping up, ensnaring her. They squeezed, and Lillian gasped for breath.
I'll show this feral how powerful I am, Lillian thought. I'm not going to let it get away with this. Mustering all the power she could, under the circumstances - she was being constricted, after all - she managed to turn her head and release a small flame at the Tangela. Its writhing vines immediately withdrew. Lillian leapt back into the open, awaiting its next move carefully.

| [OOC: Yeah, I was planning to use shed skin to cure Katsumi, I was just going to give her a chance to analyse her thoughts a bit before she used it. And Evanna, I know there’s been a lot of confusing paralysing going on but Katsumi also used Thunderwave on the Nidorina but it faded away in my last post :P ]
[Energy: 11 + 1 (natural restoration) = 12]
Whilst Katsumi had her body wrapped around the Nidorina, she felt it slowly but surely weaken under the pressure of her wrap. The Nidorina’s energy was draining fast and it was close to fainting, however Katsumi was in the same condition.
The poison was overwhelming and Katsumi could feel her consciousness slowly seeping away. The Dratini knew that she could shed her skin to heal herself but Katsumi still hadn’t mastered the art of shedding skin. If she wanted to shed her skin it only took a few moments of concentration, but in those few moments of concentration she was left completely defenceless, wide open to any attacks…
The Dratini squeezed even tighter and the Nidorina struggled to breathe. I’m almost there! If I attack it enough now, it won't attack me whilst I'm shedding my skin. However just then Katsumi had reached her limit, stumbling onto the ground as she released the Nidorina.
Mustering all her remaining strength, Katsumi curled up into a ball and proceeded to shed her skin as fast as possible, hoping that no other ferals would attack while she was doing so. |

| [Ooc: I totally am not able to follow this thread sometimes. Maybe I should start reading the last 10 posts every time before I post]
Cana glanced at the Dratini. She seemed to have beaten the Nidorina but she probably got poisoned during the progress as she seemed to be shedding her skin. The Nidorino had flung the other Fenniken in the bushes and faced towards her.
Cana didn't really have the energy left to fight, but it seems she had no other choice. The Nidorino came dashing at her, probably thinking she was Lillian. Cana dodged it and fired an Ember at it before it could turn to attack her again. She panicked for a moment as she thought it was going to miss.
The Nidorino had weakened down considerably and tried attacking Cana again. This time she didn't dodge. She just let it come closer and when close enough, she spit an ember at it, causing it to fall down in front of her. She almost did jump aside but letting the Nidorino took the hit directly seemed to have done the trick.
