Pilot gazed ahead at the sickeningly sweet forest of Pecha. It was a common location for rookies to train, which is exactly why he chose to go there several days prior... However, that trip hadn't ended very well. The tiny Taillow shuddered when he recalled being exploded on by a Pineco, and then subsequently getting poisoned by an Exeggcute... Indeed, he had been defeated by two tiny forest critters, and now he was back for vengeance. To say that he was bitter about his failure in the forest would be an understatement. Since his terrible Pecha Forest expedition, the small bird Pokemon had become much stronger, and now he was going to prove himself by finally getting through the "easy" dungeon.
While he was confident that he could conquer the rookie's dungeon alone, Pilot couldn't help but feel a bit lonely. Maybe it was because he had grown accustomed to always having a partner with him during his explorations... Not that he missed Hidon specifically. Well, it shouldn't be too hard to find someone else in here, Pilot thought to himself, remembering how quickly he had found a temporary partner the last time he had been in the dungeon. "Hey, anyone here?" He chirped, trying to attract the attention of any other rookie explorers in the forest. Of course, he was also attracting feral Pokemon in the process...

Pilot watched in horror as a nearby tree caught on fire. He struggled even harder in the Tangela's grasp, crying out in distress as everything around him started to go up in flames... Once the vine Pokemon finally realized the impending danger, it dropped him and ran away, screeching. Pilot fluttered away from the area, looking a bit panicked. If he got linked to an entire forest burning down, would he get in trouble? The bird glared at the two Fennekins, wondering if he should just fly away...
“What did you guys do!?” Pilot squawked as the fire spread. If they didn't do something soon, the situation would get even more out of hand.

| {OOC: Forget waiting for a cure before rolling, I just got consumables. :D} Energy: 0 + 5 (Apple eaten) = 5 (toxic poison) Thankfully, the feral Exeggcute had taken the worst part of the blast and fainted. Raze still didn't like the idea of Discharge's last of accuracy, so he made a promise to try to make physical contact with his strike. It won't be as strong, but at least I won't hit other people... Though I'm still not giving up on Discharge. the mouse thought. His vision slowly returned as did his hearing because he had stopped attacks for a while. Feeling drained, the Minun pulled an Apple out of his bag and began to munch on it. Regardless of the poison still taking effect, this gave him enough to stand up (still shaky) and pick up his bag. "Um... Guys, who's cooking something- Ack!" he let out a startled cry as the fire spread slowly yet surely. Pilot was already panicking, as was Katsumi, whilst Lillian and Cana were the prime suspects for who started it. "It doesn't matter, we've got to put it out now! There's things like that around here, right?" he called, attempting to calm the Taillow down. Raze found it pointless to just sit there pointing fingers at people instead of dealing with the fire first. To be honest, he didn't even feel like blaming anyone afterwards. For him, it didn't feel right to antagonize someone for an accident; it was bound to happen at some point. The Electric type searched around, trying to pinpoint something that could work for extinguishing the pyre. - MCLikeANinja carried out 5 launched of one Pecha Forest :

Lillian glared back at Pilot stonily. She glanced over the others, some of which were panicking. It isn't as if any of them are doing anything to alleviate the sitation, either. Useless, useless, useless.
Really, most of Lillian’s irritation wasn’t truly directed at them - she was furious at herself. But in the face of her failure, she really couldn’t afford to doubt or pity herself, especially not in the presence of others. The word failure rang in her ears, although she didn’t allow anything to show in her expression. Closing up, isolating herself from the others, she removed any trace of emotion from her face. There was no time to waste now.
She rushed forwards. Nobody here appeared to have a Water-type move. I don’t need the help of any Water-type, anyway, she thought, eyes blazing. Approaching a flaming bush, she kicked dirt over it with her paws roughly, extinguishing some of its flames. However, it wouldn’t do much to help if the fire got any bigger - nor would it help in putting out the trees that were alight. Normally she would have considered asking a Flying-type to scout for a pond or another body of water, but right now she really didn’t feel like asking anyone for any favours. I can do this on my own. she snapped, in her head. However, deep down, she recognised that it wasn’t the truth. She, a Fire-type, couldn’t possibly put out a forest fire like this, alone…

As the fire burned, Katsumi watched the beautiful sight. It was just so perfect that Katsumi found herself standing completely still, awestruck by the fire’s beauty. When she finally realised what she was doing she shook her head with annoyance. REALLY KATSUMI?! REALLY? In the middle of a crisis when everyone is struggling you’re just standing there, admiring the fire! Honestly…
The Dratini watched Lillian who was kicking dirt over the flames. It was effective against the fire but it wasn’t going to stop it completely. They needed water but they had no water Pokemon in their group. The only thing left to do was to find a water source. “Everyone! We need to try and find some water to stop the fire!” Katsumi yelled as loudly as she could. |

| {Energy: 9+1=10} (Ooc: Let's have water pokemon NPC's appear. That would be easier.)Cana wasn't able to stay calm at all. She rushed to one of the bushes and started doing the same thing as Lillian. "We need to put out this fire....Before it is too late." She murmered those words to herself. Deep down she knew she couldn't put it out but guilt from the forest fire she caused in the past and fear for it to repeat this way just took over. It didn't help much though. The fire still kept spreading. Then she heard alarmed cry of pokemon and before she knew it she almost got hit by a water gun. Cana looked behind her surprised to see 2 lotad had appeared. Although they were not enough to put out the fire, it did help a bit. Cana sure hoped more pokemon would appear. In her panic she didn't really hear anything the others said. - Evana carried out 10 launched of one Pecha Forest :

| Pilot stood there for a moment, unsure of whether or not to leave. While it would certainly be the safer thing to do, wouldn't an explorer stay and help? After all, saving Pokemon was in their job description. Letting out a deep sigh, the bird knew that he should do the right thing. But how could he help? Sure, he could try to put the fires out by producing wind, but what if that just spread the fire even more? Nope, not taking that chance, He thought to himself, not wanting to make the situation even worse than it already was. Finally, he turned to Katsumi and nodded.
Spreading his wings, the Taillow took off in search of a water source. There had to be a lake or pond nearby! He scoured the area for a minute, but unfortunately, came up empty. Landing several hundred feet from the inferno, Pilot watched the two Fennekins and a pair of Lotads (where did they come from?) attempt to keep the blaze at bay. They were working hard, but the fire was still spreading. He hoped that Katsumi had more luck finding water than he did...

It wasn't long before the Minun managed to find something that would help. After about three seconds, he found the one thing that he needed to focus: a single Pecha Berry lying on the floor. "Hehe, what do we have here? Give me a second guys, I'm gonna need some time to get rid of this damn poison..." he called over to his companions, approaching the small, sweet fruit. Raze didn't care about the shooting pain in his chest as much as he did being able to focus on the task at hand, and that currently was aiding the others to the best of his ability. In order for that to happen, he needed to get rid of the poison fast. He picked up the morsel and was about to take a bite, but was interrupted by a devastatingly heavy Tackle to the back.
What?! B-But I thought they were down already! Raze panicked, turning to see the very same Nidorino standing in a battle stance with Nidorina trailing behind. His first instinct was to call for backup, but the mouse decided against it preparing a Discharge. If I eat this now, they can just poison me again... I can handle these guys. he thought, smirking at the Nidos. Due to the others being farther away than usual, Raze had nothing to fear about hitting them with his attack. "I hope you two are feeling lucky, because you picked the wrong time to mess with me!" he threatened, releasing the stored electricity that was building inside of him.

| A burst of water came from behind Lillian, a few droplets landing on her fur. Lillian turned around, slightly surprised. She spotted two Lotads - possibly inhabitants of the forest. They were aiming Water Guns continuously at the fires, extinguishing a few. They paid no attention to Lillian, or any of the others; they were completely focused on putting out the flames.
Lillian also noticed that the Nidorina and Nidorino from before had returned, and were engaged in battle with Raze. They definitely did not look happy at being beaten, and now they were back for vengeance. That was quick recovery, Lillian thought, eyeing them. Those ferals are persistent - enough to disregard a forest fire in order to get revenge, it appears. Well, they've been beaten once before. This shouldn't be too hard. I'll leave Raze to it.

| Katsumi grinned at Pilot who nodded to her before taking flight. Pilot would get a decent sense of the general area of the forest. However, if a water source was hidden in the undergrowth of the forest, Pilot wouldn’t be able to see it from the sky. Realizing that this was her time to shine, Katsumi slithered into the forest’s undergrowth in attempt to find some water.
Whilst she was looking, she found a stick and a Swift Seed. The Dratini picked up the two items and continued with her search. Suddenly she encountered a Ledyba who didn’t think twice before attacking. Katsumi whipped to one side to dodge the Ledyba. Come on, there's a fire going on! I suppose I'll have to make this quick! |

Cana kept trying to put out the fire. Even though she was a fire type, this wasn't healthy for her. Her fur became dirty from the smoke and breathing wasn't that easy. Still, she kept going. Cana noticed the fire was still spreading even with the help of the lotad. She was panicking and started even kicking more dirt on the fire. She was pushing herself now.
The Lotad also noticed the fire was still spreading. One said something about getting more help to the other Lotad ran off. The Lotad who stayed behind kept trying to extinguish the flames. It was already difficult enough controlling them. He did seem to get tired though.

| For a while, Pilot just stood there, unsure of what to do. He had already attempted to find water by getting a bird's eye view, and that didn't work. The treetops obscured his vision of the ground, so being up in the air was useless. How else could he try to help? The bird obviously didn't know any water type moves, and had no items that would aid in putting the fire out. Just as he was beginning to feel completely ineffectual, he heard a voice coming from several meters away.
“...You picked the wrong time to mess with me!”
Pilot instantly recognized the voice to be Raze's. The Taillow used Quick Attack to dart towards the Minun, seeing this as an opportunity to occupy himself while the others fought the fire. Leaping into the air, he took flight at blistering speed, and barreled towards the unknown enemy (or enemies) that his travel companion was fighting. Once he saw a Nidorino, he shut his eyes, and aimed right for the poison-type Pokemon.

The relief of letting the blast go was always blissful for Raze. The feeling of radiating energy strong enough to create power and harm enemies in one huge explosion-like radius amazed him. Discharge was a powerful move, and he liked it that way. It wasn't the best move for team fights, however, as it gave the user almost no control over the energy once it is released. The move was even more harmful to allies if they have a type disadvantage. Sensing not two, but three entities in the blast forced him to cut it short.
"Oh god, Pilot! What were you thinking, flying right into my Discharge like that?!" he yelled, barely recognizing the bird. He managed to force the Nidorino right into the epicenter of the attack, knocking it out, while the Nidorina was barely conscious and couldn't get up. To be honest, Raze wouldn't be surprised if Pilot also was in the same state; his typing made the blow even worse. "...Hmph. Look, I'm sorry about hitting you, but why the heck would you fly so close if I'm about to use Discharge?" he apologized, silently cursing himself for not seeing the Taillow approach sooner. At least the distance from the others, who were busy fighting the fires, was far enough to not alert or hit them. The Minun forced a sympathetic smile behind the pain that had returned to his chest. He grabbed the Pecha Berry that he had hurriedly picked up earlier and chewed on the soft fruit, letting the berry work its process and cure the poison.

| Lillian caught sight of something bright behind a bush - a piece of candy, and a Strange Ticket. Quickly scooping them up, she continued to kick dirt onto the fire. It seemed like it was beginning to come under control - the flames were dying down. The Lotad from earlier returned, with help - another Lotad, and a Lombre. The Lombre narrowed its eyes, looking over at Cana and Lillian. "Did you start this fire?" It asked, a rough edge to its voice. "We don't appreciate you burning down our home like this. Well, no matter. Best not dwell on the past." Lillian didn't reply, giving him a steely stare instead. She was still inwardly ashamed of her blunder, though.
The Lombre and the Lotads began to put out the fire with carefully aimed jets of water. Lillian stepped back - they had it under control. It wasn't as if she was doing much to help by kicking dirt, anyway. Perhaps it was time for her to assist in a battle - something she was much more familiar with and adept at.
Rushing over to Katsumi, she leapt at the Ledyba and knocked it aside with her body. She wasn't going to use fire so soon after causing, well, a forest fire. Even if physical attacks weren't her strong suit, she was still confident that she could win.

| Whilst Katsumi fought against the Ledyba, she realised that Lillian had come to join her in the fight. The Ledyba was knocked aside by Lillian’s attack and stood still for a moment, in attempt to regain its balance again. Katsumi grinned in satisfaction before hardening her tail and rushing towards the still recovering Leyba. The Dratini charged in and lashed out her iron tail, hitting the Ledyba full on. The feral Pokemon fell to the ground and tried desperately to get back onto its feet. Wow! That last attack hit the Ledyba perfectly! I just need to land a few more attacks just like that and then this feral Pokemon will regret meeting me!

| Cana looked up as the Lombre asked if she caused the fire. She understood why he was angry. A lot of pokemon could die if it got out of control. Cana noticed the fire was slowly getting extinguished with the help of the water pokemon. She still didn't feel like stopping. She wouldn't stop until the fire was out. Slowly but surely, the flames got doused.
After the last flames were put out, Cana looked around. She sure was relieved. There didn't seem to have been any victims this time. "It's finally over..." Having the adrenaline go away Cana wasn't able to take it all anymore and fainted. The stress had been too much for her and she totally worn herself out in her efforts to put out the fire.
