| Russell 6 16 - 10 for entry
It was early morning, the sun still rising in the sky, gracing the forest with it's rays despite it being famed for it's darkness. Russell crawled along the well worn pathway at the entrance of Shadowhue, a bag and notebook in hand. His attention was mostly focused on the tiny slivers of light that tentatively brushed past the leafy canopy, scattering upon reaching the ground, like liquid gold. The dark forest, as was a popular name for Shadowhue, really wasn't as dark as you thought if you really looked around, and Russ couldn't help but find it oddly fascinating. The Burmy paused where he was stood to make a small note in his little notebook, recording his musings to read later when he analysed today's exploration back at his home. When he was satisfied with his writings, he slipped the book and quill into the bag he wore and prepared to move onward.

Zorre traveled through the Shadowhue Forest, giggling to himself. It was quite inane that he'd once been so worried about other pokemon's lives. So funny that he'd once cared what other pokemon had thought about him! Like it even mattered when the world was dark and fuzzy and things were awesome or terrible all at once. Zorre buzzed his wings loudly, laughing manically at the sound they made. He had no idea that he sounded completely insane, and even if he had known, he wouldn't have cared.
The insanity that covered every inch of him was caused by a creeping darkness that overlaid everything about him. The black of his carapace had never been so representative of how the scyther felt inside.

The young burmy's tranquil feelings about the environment around him were quickly shattered at the sound of harsh humming, originating from an insectoid set of wings. However, it was not this sound that caused Russell to re-think his strategy of facing things head on, but rather the maniacal laughter that accompanied it. Honestly, the only thing going through Russ's mind for a good few moments was ' What the hell?'As the humming and laughter drew nearer, Russell made a tactical move to head towards the undergrowth, where his current, plant based cloak might serve to camouflage him from the creepy individual that was heading his way. Russ wasn't scared of what could follow the sounds, per se, but rather just preferred to keep himself out of harms way when he knew nothing of the pokemon from whom the laughter came.

| Another, greatly less insane , but probably much more dangerous Pokemon entered the forest. He should be on vacation, but too much time spent in leisure made him antsy, nervous, or just downright uncomfortable.
That Pokemon was none other than the outlaw, Akuroma. His cloak billowed as a breeze flew between the trees of the forest. The Gallade looked around, the few glimpses of light dancing across the forest floor. This sight was familiar to him, yet at the same time it was alien. It had been so long since he had been in Shadowhue. Much of his time had been spent exploring the dungeons that were normally unreachable to the common Pokemon. Seeking treasures, knowledge, power.
However, today he was simply feeling nostalgic. It was here that he met many acquaintances. It was here that he first evolved. And here he was again, a fully realized Gallade, though his name not as untarnished as it once was.
The Gallade continued onwards, his cloak keeping his face and the majority of his body in the shadows as he rediscovered this dungeon he's been in so many times before.

| Zorre continued on his path through the dark forest, still giggling to himself madly. He rather hoped that he ran into some pokemon, feral or not. He would cherish the chance to "get to know" them. A wicked grin spread across his face as he imagined 'getting to know' a pokemon intimately by slicing open their belly and getting familiar with their innards.
"Come out and play, little pokemon," Zorre cackled, unaware that his speech was little more than feral growls and clicks. "Won't you be my friend? Come out and we can get to know each other!"
Unbeknownst to him, he passed right by the grass-cloaked burmy hidden in the undergrowth. Zorre stopped almost directly in front of the burmy's hiding place and looked around the forest, still giggling to himself.

Russell watched the pokemon with vague interest as it drew closer, revealing itself to be a Scyther. Though, intriguingly, it was not green in appearance but rather sported a chitinous shell of a unique jet black. Curiosity sufficiently piqued, Russ watched from his hiding place and wondered if there was any way to deduce whether the scyther was native to the forest or not. Unique shell or not though, Russ couldn't argue that there was something undeniably creepy about the black scyther. Perhaps it was the way he laughed seemingly to himself. The pokemon wasn't just territorial like most dungeon-natives were, rather he seemed just a tad insane. Luckily, it hadn't seemed to notice the young Burmy, passed right by the area of undergrowth that Russ had taken temporary refuge in. Though a foolish thought, Russell was almost tempted to try and converse with the scyther to find out more about him, but the instinct to survive kept him in the bushes, despite him knowing that he could always protect himself if things got out of hand. ooc// I have no problem with it as long as Silver doesn't xD Also if it's ok with u guys ima roll next post or whatever.

| It wasn't long before Akuroma caught the sound of laughing in his ears(holes?). The Gallade huffed, he was hoping that there would be a lack of Pokemon to deal with today. Simply a day to relax and take a walk. Though, in hindsight, a dungeon may not have been the best place to do this, especially one known as "Shadowhue." The Gallade continued on, however. He had no fear for the source of the laughter. More than likely he was more powerful than it, unless it was some explorer or outlaw in the area. It was then that a thought crossed his mind. What if the laughter came from a certain Pokemon he had met here before? Akuroma was in no mood to risk that, and began to turn around. However, in mid-turn, the Gallade saw the source of the laughter; a buzzing black Scyther. A bit of relief swept over the cloaked Pokemon for a moment as he realized that it was not who he was afraid of. "Oi, quiet down over there. Your laughter's creepier than most Ghost types and I'm not in the mood for being creeped out today," Akuroma called out from beneath his cloak, having yet to recognize the black Scyther. | Zorre blinked as the voice washed over him, the meaning of the gallade's words not clicking in his mind. Instead, he turned toward the source of the voice, and a clearly-insane grin spread across his face as he spotted the pokemon. Just as the gallade did not recognize him, the black-colored scyther did not recognize the pokemon, his memories buried beneath layers of mania, and the pokemon's cloak hiding the gallade's species from the scyther.
"Would you like to play with me, new friend?" Zorre asked evilly, his speech still incomprehensible to non-feral pokemon. Despite it's incomprehensibility, however, it was clear to note that whatever Zorre was saying, it wasn't something very nice, as evidenced by the clear malice in his gaze.

Just as Russell was thinking of a plan in case the black scyther really was insane, a cloaked pokemon appeared on the scene, complaining of the scyther's creepy laughter. The Burmy couldn't help but agree with the guy's summary of the situation. The other dude really was hella creepy. Nevertheless, he figured he should continue on his way rather than get involved with the two, considering he knew nothing about either of them. However, just as he was turning to head away from the gallade and the scyther, Russ tripped over a stray branch that had been near his feet, landing on his face with a rather loud thud. Well, so much for staying inconspicuous. - Solilo carried out 6 launched of one Shadowhue Forest :

| Akuroma's red eyes glowed underneath his hood, furrowed into an annoyed look. "I'd wipe that grin off your face before I do," the Gallade said, popping his knuckles in preparation for a fight. That is until a rustle of bushes and the thud of a Burmy hitting the ground distracted him.
The psychic type blinked, why was that little Bug type here? Especially with a creepy Scyther around?

| Zorre tilted his head as he looked at his new... "friend." It was saying something but Zorre didn't understand it. Perhaps it was feral? The poor thing! Well, Zorre knew how to fix that. He'd give it a new voice box! That would solve the problem. Zorre started to approach the pokemon, still grinning, when a thumping sound behind him caused the scyther to spin around, snarling menacingly. No one was going to hurt him or his new friend! But the sound wasn't an attacking pokemon. No, it was a little burmy, fallen to the ground. Zorre's fierce snarling died immediately, and instead he approached the burmy with the same manic grin that he'd approached the other pokemon with, seemingly having forgotten the gallade altogether. "Will you be my friend? It's just... I have a secret. You'll not tell anyone, right, friend?" Zorre asked, the insanity gleaming in his eyes as he approached the burmy, his scythes glinting menacingly in the soft light filtering through from the leafy canopy above. - Silver carried out 5 launched of one Shadowhue Forest :

Russell pulled himself back up onto his feet, re-gathering leaves around him to re-form his plant cloak. He also grabbed his pencil from the ground, where it had tumbled out of his bag during his fall. Shoving it back into the bag's confines, Russ turned to glance at the Scyther only to find it's full attention suddenly on him rather than the cloaked stranger. The black bug type seemed to say something, but Russell couldn't quiet decipher what as it sounded much more like feral growls than any type of speech. A such, his gaze flicked between the Scyther and his scythes, and the cloaked stranger before he replied with a rather eloquent, "..uh?"- Solilo carried out 4 launched of one Shadowhue Forest :

| Akuroma blinked as the Scyther's attention immediately went to the Burmy instead. Huffing, the Gallade began to step forward, "Hey, I was talking to you." As he walked forward, the Gallade stepped onto a Shroomish who also appeared to be hiding from the crazed Scyther. The grass type, now thoroughly spooked, almost instinctively sprayed out a poisonous powder up into Aku's face.
The Gallade coughed, stepping back as he attempted to cough out the poison.

Zorre blinked at the little burmy as it looked up at him and uttered an unintelligible sound. The poor thing! It was like his other new friend; it couldn't speak! Zorre turned his attention between the two pokemon now, considering. The manic gleam had yet to leave his eyes as they darted back and forth between the burmy and the as-of-yet-unidentified gallade.
Maybe their voice boxes were reversed, and that was why they couldn't speak! He would have to fix that. A grin appeared on his face again, small sharp teeth pointing out as he considered the best way to transfer their voice boxes. He'd have to sedate them both so that they wouldn't struggle, and so they wouldn't feel pain.
"Now, I know it will be scary at first, my dears, but in the end, everything will be alright," he said sinisterly, now advancing on the coughing gallade, his scythes raised in preparation for the cut.
It was at that moment that the gallade -or maybe the scyther- was saved by a sudden rumbling through the darkened forest. The scyther looked around, snarling, just as five stantlers pounded into the clearing in a panic. Zorre let out a cry of disgust and dismay as he was promptly stomped into the ground by the stampeding stantler.
The combination of five stantlers stomping on him and hitting his head on a rock knocked out the black scyther, and he collapsed in the center of the clearing as the stantler raced past, leaving behind a stunned group of pokemon.

Russell stared at the Scyther as it seemed to flicker it's gaze between the cloaked pokemon and himself. Whatever pokemon was under the cloak, it didn't seem to be letting up, but at least his speech was understandable where the black Scyther's was not. Coming to a sudden realisation as the scyther continued to not acknowledge the cloaked individual's words, Russ called over to him. "I don't think he can understand you," the Burmy commented. The Scyther hadn't reacted to any specific words, even when Akuroma had been telling him to shut up, but had still heard them, showing that Zorre wasn't deaf. Before Russ could say anything else though, the cloaked figure seemed to stand on a Shroomish, which sprayed a poison powder up into the pokemon's face. A rumbling that had been approaching for a short period of time now thoroughly scared the shroomish off after it had poisoned the cloaked stranger. It wasn't long before five panicked stantler entered the clearing, trampling the scyther that had been acting so creepy before. Perhaps the encounter would knock some sense into him.
