First topic message reminder :

Day 2 of Mim's arrival in Grassveil. Although her experience prior with the lively town was a fascinating one, the events taken place at night were not so great. Deprived of any sort of currency, the wanderer sought out anything shelter worthy among the streets. She eventually settled for a large haystack near one of the stalls, too exhausted to look for anything else. Needless to say, the little lizard had not gotten a very satisfying sleep. When Mim awoke the next day, she found that her joints ached and that small hay strips pricked at her skin even at the slightest shifts.

Great. Maybe next time i'll just sleep on the ground...Mim thought bitterly. She looked around and saw that the stalls had not been opened up yet. She looked skyward. No wonder. Daylight was only just beginning show. The Helioptile figured that she should continue on her way, less the owner of the wretched haystack catch her during her sleep. Mim squirmed off of it and landed effortlessly on her feet. She gave one last stretch before proceeding farther down the road. ...Now what should I do? The pokemon's gaze lingered across the softly lighted stalls and buildings around her. Still pretty early...Maybe I should find somewhere else to rest.

Obviously very stressed, the Oddish stared as the coin glimmered in its spot. Just in time, her Helioptile companion arrived. After cheering her up, Mim managed to pull out the coin. "Oh! Thank you so much!" Rebecca exclaimed in joy, hopping up and down, putting the coin back into her pouch. After her little fiesta, Rebecca turned to Mim, thinking for a moment, before asking, "So, now that I've found my coin, what're you planning to do?"

Mim smiled, and out of exhaustion, fell back on her rump. Of course freeing a coin wasn't exactly tiresome, it was just their collision perviously that had knocked most of the energy from the Helioptile. She was surprised to see how her companion wasn't effected by it. "It's nothing. I'm just glad you finally got back." With heavy eyelids, the electric type was about to succumb to her tiredness but was interrupted by the Oddish's question. "Hmmm, well, I was planning to find somewhere else to rest. But after that, i'm not so sure... What about you?"

Rebecca chuckled at the sight of Mim falling back, tired. She wondered what exactly the Helioptile went through to get so sore and exhausted. "I'm glad i got it back too!" The Oddish replied, obviously happy. "Somewhere else to rest? I hear Grassveil has a few places to stay, but I'm not sure...and, I was thinking about joining the town's guild, since, I wanna train to be an explorer." she added, blushing slightly. It was clear she wasn't cut out to be explorer material, but Rebecca wanted to train regardless, in order to overcome her own shortcomings. But what if something happens to me and I never return from an exploration?! she worried silently.

Though desperate for a very much needed nap, Mim tried to continue listening to the Oddish with the most concentration she could muster. "Hmmm..." The traveler hummed tiredly, eyeslids slowly sinking halfway through her line of sight before being forced back up again. Mm..keep it together. You'll get a chance to sleep later..The Helioptile told herself, reaching for the back of her neck and scratching it awkwardly. While Mim quietly gave herself encouragement to stay awake, yet another question coming from the plant pokemon sparked her curiosity. She looked over to her at the mentions of the Guild. Going off of what she's heard about it so far, it was pretty much the heart of Grassveil, its pride. Why wouldn't it be? When  it's the home of brave many brave pokemon, otherwise known as explorers. Before Mim could delve into this strange idea of joining it herself, she saw the subtle self conciseness Rebecca gave off afterwards. She couldn't help but take pity on her. Sure, she may have been the cowardly sort, but that was no reason to simply give up on joining. Hmm..What you need is some confidence.

"Hey, that sounds like a great idea! You really should go do it." Mim replied, a grin appearing over her already drowsy expression. "Hah, maybe i should to. Now that i think about it, shop keep sounds like a bit to much work..." She muttered, glancing at nearby stall.

Breaking away from her line of worrisome thoughts, the Oddish cheeed up a little after hearing Mim's words of encouragement. "Uh, thanks. You really think so?" she nervously replied, awkwardly scratching the back of her head with a leaf. I guess I should. I mean, it woouldn't hurt to just try...right? she thought, optiist showing through her eyes. After hearing the Helioptile's mention of also joining, an idea sparked in the Oddish's clustered mind. Though, before making mention of it, she questioned first, "Um, why would you think that? About shopkeeping, that is...I mean, it can't be that hard compared to exploring, right? I hear the training regimens are harsh..." Thinking, Rebecca wondered about the career of shopkeeping, and what a Pokemon would be doing with such a job. Just sitting there all day and selling stuff? That sounds al ittle bit....boring, actually.

The Helioptile nodded in agreement. "Definitely." She said, her smile widening with the encouragement. Her nodding ceased when another question was brought up, one that Mim found a bit difficult to answer. "Why? Erm, well...it's not that i think it's harder than guild training, rather, i just don't think I'm that suited for it." The lizard pokemon glanced to her right and spotted a tiny pebble. She grabbed it and begun to idly throw it up into the air then catching it again. "Im not so great at keeping track of things, so i think that would just hold me back if it came to sorting out merchandise or whatever." She glanced back at the Oddish.

"Hah, plus, it's kinda...boring when you think about it. I know there are some pokemon who prefer that kind of easy lifestyle, but that ain't for me. I dont want to sit all cozy and sell crap for the rest of my life, i want something that gives me a thrill." The longer Mjm spoke, the more she began to realize what would actually be best for her. And to think before she was fixed on applying for some shop... "Haha, weird. I didn't know what i really wanted to be doing until you asked. Guess that settles it then." Still being a bit sleepy, Mim was slightly worried if it was just her exshaustion that was making her think like this. Nonetheless, she would still go through with it.

Rebecca was pleased with Mim's answer, although she did hear the growingly tired tone in his voice. She would have to do something about that later on. Realizing that it was to be soon time for the town to wake up and come to life, the Oddish thought it would be best to move onwards to the Guild and apply. She had to settle down sooner or later, and the Oddish was growing slightly impatient and excited to start her training despite what hardships may come. "I think we should go to the Guild and...you know, get started. Don't you think so?" she asked.

"Mmmm.....Huh?" Distracted by the simpleness of throwing a pebble, Mim looked back at the plant pokemon with a brief look of confusion before progressing what she had just said. "Oh-Yeah. Good idea." The Helioptile replied, a smile appearing on her face again as she got up off her rear. While stretching herself out, the pebble fell from Mim's tired grip and back onto the dirt. Though, she didn't really seem to mind. The thought of the Guild brought back memories of the pokemon Mim had met yesterday. Short...Plump...Kinda cute to for something so feisty. But what was her species? The wanderer thought, no fitting names coming to mind. Oh well, maybe i'll run into her at the guild. Mim focused back on the Oddish. "You wanna lead the way?"

Hearing the Helioptile's reply of willingness, the Oddish smiled and led the way. "Sure" she mumbled, before trotting off in the direction of the guild, walking along the sandy street at a brisk pace. "So, do you think we'll see each other during training? Hey, maybe we could form an exploration team? We might actually do well together..." Rebecca pondered, mumbling out her thoughts aloud in a whimisical tune.

After relieving her stiff joints, Mim hustled along after her friend and farther into the town of Grassveil. She had minor trouble with keeping up with the Oddish's hasty pace, despite how longer her legs were. "A team? You'd really wanna do that with me?" The lizard's tired tone changed into suprise, as she was admitingly astonished by Rebecca's offer. "Not that the idea sounds bad. Haha, I'm actually kinda flattered." She stared down at the plant Pokemon and gave a larger smile. "Guess it wouldn't hurt. If you're down with forming one then i'll." She said, blissfully unaware of the thinking and preparation one would might do dirt before making a team.

"Oh, um, that's awesome!" the Oddish couldn't contain her excitement. She was bubblign with anticipation. "So, I guess we should hurry up and get on our way!" Rebecca exclaimed, as she quickened the pace, hopping off towards the Guild Headquarters.

OOC: I guess we should move on to another topic? For the actual process?

"Urgh, wait up!" Mim shouted, leaning forward to grasp onto her knees as the Oddish proceeded faster down the empty street. The exhaustion was almost to much to bare at this point, the only thing keeping her on her feet was the promising thought of the guild having its own beds. If they were to join, would it be free of charge? God she hoped so. After a brief break, the Helioptile ushered down the street and after her plant companion.

Yee. One of us would also have to fill out the guild master thread too?))
