The Long Mile.

"Why did we have to pick a spot all the way out here? Why not the forest or something?" Michael complained as he walked along the in the sand. "I guess this is better for training right? Make the team seem stronger and even cooler then we need to be?" Michael joked as he scanned the vast sea of sand. Michael kept looking for a cavern hidden away by the sandstorms. A warm, dry breeze blew sand around where he was standing. "I can't see the cave." Michael said looking over to Shaman.

" Okay it's simple, My cloak is right behind you by your feet your not allowed to move it or touch it in anyway, if I get my cloak I win if u can keep me away from it or get me in a defeated spot you win." Shaman skirted the edge of the stalagmite he was behind. He grabbed a rock and carefully tossed it so it would only hit the ground one and a good distance from Shaman.

Michael nodded and Said, "Simple enough." Michael Got in a fighting stance and put his tail over the Cloak. He made sure he could see a few feet around it so that he would see Shaman before he could get close enough.

The darkness on the edge of Micheal's ring of light wasn't exactly the best place for Shaman. He was akwardly hunched on the side of his little shelter. He couldn't throw another rock to divert Micheal he'd just done that and he couldn't rush Micheal since he had power over Shaman. Shaman did have speed so he could go for a hit and run tactic but he doubted the success of this. He would wait, patience was one virtue Shaman had.

"What are you waiting For Shaman? I thought you were fast." Michael taunted as he got ready for An attack.

"what?!" the tiny furry paws of Shaman balled up he spoke under his breath as to not let Micheal hear him. Shaman may have been patient but that didn't do him much when it came to a situation like this. Micheal hadn't tested his patience he'd insult Shaman's skills and Shaman had too much pride to back down. Shaman moved swift as he could at Micheal.

Michael saw Shaman within a few inches of him and used his speed boost from Dragon dance to avoid Shaman. "Olay!" Michael joked as he watched Shaman pass by. "So how long do I have to defend the cloak?" Michael randomly blurted out. I've just got to stall long enough for him to get bored of this so I'll win. seems logical. Michael thought to himself. Everyone had a point, Michael just had to reveal Shaman's.

Shaman stopped right after the dodged and turned still close to Micheal. the cape was still on the ground directly behind Micheal, " Until you can get me in a spot where I can't attempt to get it anymore." He answered. Micheal took a step closer and leaned his face closer to Micheal's hoping he would back away because this would be uncomfortable for him. The moment he did Shaman's force palm would go off and hopefully leave him paralized and the cape ripe for the picking.

Michael stepped around Shaman to get behind him and tapped his shoulder. "I hope you don't mind losing a second time to me." Michael grinned as he used his tail to sweep out Shaman's feet and knock him down.

Shaman feet were pulled from under him but Micheal had sadly forgotten his objective he was on behind Shaman leaving the cloak wide open Shaman's back hit the ground first and he rolled back off it right onto the cloak. " Don't worry I'm not a soar loser." He grinned as he reached down to pluck it off the cavern floor.

Michael smirked as Shaman reached for his cape. "You do know that its not there right? I mean come on, why would I have left it wide open for you to take?" Michael asked. Michael burned his tail brighter, revealing the cape was gone. "Moved it right behind me." Michael grinned. He placed his foot over where the cape was moved, then a look of shock over took his face. "Ummm, where did it go?" Michael looked around, panicked. "Crap-baskets, Shaman the cape is gone."

" Ha ha." Shaman answered sighing. You know I should really get around to winning one of these games. He though to himself rather bitterly. " Not funny Micheal hand it over you win this one. " Shaman extended a hand waiting for Micheal to put his cape back into his hand. And he was telling me not to be a sore loser just cause I though I had the upper hand for a second he's gonna do this to me.

Michael burned his tail as bright as possible and showed the area by his feet and held his hands in front of him."It's gone Shaman!" He shouted. He looked around, trying to find it. Michael saw a silhouette of a Pokemon. "Hey, new game, first one to recapture the cape wins!" Michael smirked.

(OoC: Because I'm stupid and fail at the dice roll, Zash you have to do it. because i can't be trusted with this one job.)

Shaman made a sour face. " You expect me to now make a game out of a priceless item of mine that I trusted you with the simple act of training?" He lifted one eye brow and gave him such a look that if Micheal even dare joke for an instant Shaman would mess him up so hard he wouldn't walk straight for a week at least.
