» Personality: Zion at first glance seems to be a very lazy Pokemon. He's most often seen sleeping or eating. He rarely ever talks to other Pokemon, preferring to keep his distance, and looks to be shy or uncaring. When someone tries to approach him, he tends to step back the same amount of steps that Pokemon stepped towards him, at the same speed and whenever he thinks back on those moments, he sighs at himself and then laughs at his shyness. He also always worries about those that manage to get close to him and he opens up, talking more than he used to but not that much more..

Despite his dislike for spicy foods though, he's able to eat any flavor of pokepuff, though dry ones are his favorite and spicy are his least, he loves them all. He also has the habit of staring at other Pokemon without blinking, often being yelled at by his brother that it's creepy, and he is trying to fix this. He might not like other Pokemon but he sure hates it when his sister does it to him, so he can understand how others feel about his giant, unblinking, eyes.

Sleeping (Controlling his powers takes a lot of effort)
The Sun (It's nice and warm.)
Being Alone (He's been betrayed and he doesn't want to have his heart broken again.)
Accessories (Like scarves, ribbons, bands, and glasses.)
Pokepuffs (Very fluffy cake-like snacks that are full of flavor that he got addicted to.)

» Dislikes:
Crowds (Too noisy and, well, crowded.)
Swimming (Bad experience)
Water In General (Bad experience with water)
Poffins (Compared to Pokepuffs, these just aren't as flavorful)
Loud Noises (Even though his ears are folded, his hearing is still pretty sharp.)
Spicy foods (Just never liked spicy foods too much, but Pokepuffs are an exception. They just burned his tongue and throat too much to eat.)

» History: Zion comes from a laid back family. His mother is a Meowstic and his father is a Liepard, both retired explorers. He has 2 siblings, a younger sister named Eclair, she's also an Espurr, and an older brother named Seth, a Purrloin. He always dreamed of becoming an explorer while his siblings could care less, preferring to help their parents with their farm. A few years before he left his home, he told his best friend that he was planning to leave. Said best friend is a Ditto named William. William had accused Zion of abandoning him, for not caring about their friendship and didn't listen to Zion when he tried to explain. He then transformed into Zion and caused many crimes around the village. He was eventually caught and he kept saying that it was Zion even as he was taken away. Zion hasn't given any pokemon, except for his family, his complete trust since.

He had a bad experience when he tried to teach himself how to swim, seeing as how William had originally planned to but was now in jail, he thought he had to teach himself. He jumped in and could float pretty good for a beginner but as he practiced paddling, a Gorebyss thought he was food and spent the better part of the day swimming from it before it occurred to him to go onto land. To comfort him, his father took him to a Pokepuff bakery and let him order whatever flavor he wanted. He blames all water for what happened.

As he was packing to go to Grassveil Town, his mother came in with a bright red ribbon in her paws and told him that she and his father had found it in their travels. That it doesn't do anything but that he should take it as a good luck charm. She then proceeded to tie it around his tail and wished him luck as he thanked her and left. He traveled to Grassveil town to join the guild, with his parents' recommendation. When he first arrived in Grassveil town, he could only find a Poffin shop and decided to try one. He disliked the texture of it the most and later asked around if there was a Pokepuff bakery. He was told he could find them in Feather Cafe and he made that his favorite place to eat.

» Other: Has a Free Ribbon (The one that does nothing), which was a present from his family, and has it tied to the base of his tail.

Sorry, your Character Bio cannot be approved due to the following reasons:

1.) ENERGY You've calculated your energy wrong. Espurr's base energy is 14, so please add 5 to 14 to calculate your current energy.

2.) PERSONALITY Natures and such have no real affect here on this site. Mainly due to the fact that most personalities of characters accepted here can't be tacked onto one or two natures, but several.

3.) LIKES Please give good explanations to your likes. Simply because Espurr is a cat Pokemon and that you "had to" aren't good enough reasons for your character to like these things. We tend to not want to generalize species of Pokemon liking things, and these should be things your character likes, not what you want him to like for no reason other than wanting him to like it.

4.) DISLIKES For the same reason as above, simply disliking something due to him being a cat-like Pokemon is not a good enough reason.

5.) HISTORY Your history is quite bare, please expand upon it. It also doesn't explain any of the likes/dislikes he has. You mentioned some sort of bad experience with water that made him hate it, what happened? Why does he like Pokepuffs but not Poffins? I as a secretary and you as the roleplayer need to know how to answer these questions on the spot. Whether or not you'll need to answer in-character in your first thread or in your one hundredth thread.

Sorry, your Character Bio cannot be approved due to the following reasons:

1.) PERSONALITY He's shy but becomes talkative and modest when you get to know him? That's a real big contradiction there. First off, being modest is a given with shy characters. Secondly, your character suddenly becoming talkative when someone gets to know him is completely against the rest of his personality. If he opens up a bit I could understand that, but a shy, quiet character like how you describe him to be in every other sentence of his personality could never ever become suddenly talkative without some sort of "coming out of your shell" breakthrough that would happen during rp. Please edit this.

2.) LIKES/DISLIKES "Being a loner" is not a sufficient explanation for him to like being alone. There is no explanation for him "being a loner" in his history, so why is he one?
Saying a ribbon tied around his tail makes him look feminine doesn't explain why he hates being confused as a girl. Also, I don't see how a ribbon around his tail makes him look feminine. Now if it was the sparkliest, prettiest, most stereotypically girly ribbon to ever be created, then I'd probs understand how.

3.) HISTORY Your history is a bit of a jumbled mess. First he's leaving home to become an explorer, then suddenly he's getting treats with his father for not getting poked by a Gorebyss? Please organize this in a more chronological form. Also, there is no explanation in his history here as to why he's shy, quiet and prefers being alone. These are big pieces of his personality that should have some root cause.

Just so you know, as of right now the Feather Cafe's been closed for renovations (aka it shall never open again) so I hope Zion can find a place that'll give him his fix for Pokepuffs :P
