» Personality: Aoi is a Pokemon who minds his own business and has no trouble staying on the sidelines. He's pretty quiet, gentle, humble, and prefers to be alone. However, if he does happen to run into another Pokemon who would like to talk, Aoi speaks and acts in a charming and poised way. He goes by the philosophy "speak only when spoken to, but in an elegant manner". Aoi also finds doing small good deeds pleasant to the soul. What else makes him feel good in the end is hard work that pays off!
If a Pokemon runs up to him begging for help, he definitely will give it to them. Normally this help consists of studying and focus, because that's something he's good at. He prefers not to express his feelings openly.

» Likes:
Sweets - Aoi loves sweets, especially fluffy white cake with white frosting and berries on top. He will eat any pastry or chocolate without second-guessing, and will internally gawk at how amazing it tastes. Sometimes, Aoi refers to it as an art. It's a huge weakness of his.

Music - Aoi is a musician. Music is a way to express himself and normally makes it whenever he could. Flutes are his favorite to play. Normally, if he finds someone selling them at a booth or stand, Aoi will buy one for his collection.

Battling - He likes battling and studying others' tactics while doing so. Competitive or sparring for fun doesn't matter to him, it's the excersise and experiance that counts.

» Dislikes:
Over-working - Aoi thinks that over-working oneself harms them physically and mentally. You need both the mind and body to function properly. There's nothing wrong with hard work, but hurting yourself when trying to get something done won't feel good in the end (for him, anyways).

Cocky Pokemon - Pokemon that are too prideful makes him dissapointed, especially if they make a fool of themselves by failing to meet their said, bragged standards. Aoi usually makes one attempt to talk some sense into them, but if what he said is disregarded he overall tries to avoid contact with them.

Heat - Heat mats down his well-groomed fur (he works hard to maintain it!). It also gives him headaches and slows him down in general when normally Aoi prefers a steady pace of his own.

Outlaws - There are many evils in this world, and Aoi believes that they are just making things worse, causing others to suffer. They deserve worse. Outlaws are one of the few things Aoi will get angry and raise his voice over.

» History:
Aoi was born as an only Pokemon, not having many friends or siblings for company. It got a bit lonely for him, especially because his parents were nomadic. He never came to a permanent home every day, or had an exact place he grew up in during his lifetime.
His parents raised him to be quiet and graceful - soon enough, Aoi slowly accepted the way of life and humbled to a point where his desires did not mean much anymore.
Despite his taciturn personality, Aoi picked up social charm and skills from his father considering he was a merchant. His dad often told him "speak only when spoken to" and taught him how to smile, act kindly, and to always have good comportment.
Aoi's parents became extremely tired from all the running around, constantly moving every day to sell stuff for poke to feed only three mouths. His father gave up his merchant job and they all settled in one place, causing them to be more frugal (because there was no business). Aoi lived a simple life then, usually helping his mother harvest planted berries and veggies for food. They no longer got sick or tired, and when they did, they didn't have to suffer through it.
Since Aoi was still young, he assumed he could become a merchant also to provide even more for his parents. But he was ignorant and inexperienced, and didn't come home with a lot of Poke. Despite his parents' constant reassuring they're doing fine, he continued to deal with meaner, tougher Pokemon who couldn't take him seriously. Aoi quit after a few months, beat and tired.
He and his family spent a long time together, taking care of each other and taking it easy. Aoi and his father always were together. His father, in his free time, taught him battle strategy and just sparred for fun.
Aoi matured a bit and his parents were a bit old. After a long talk and after cleaning up their little home, he left to live his own life. He wanders around the Pokemon world quite aimlessly, just going with the flow and hoping he finds some pretty interesting stuff.

» Other: Aoi sometimes goes by "Amai", but that nickname is used in more of a "sweetie" name. A cute nickname.
