Ripple vs Jay - Randomised Battle

First topic message reminder :

Rules;
1. Must use the first Pokemon to come up on the randomiser
2. Can use the whole level up movepool of that Pokemon, plus 1 egg/tm/tutor move
3. One ability, normal or dream world can be chosen
4. No legendaries
5. No godmodding/powerplaying
6. Must nickname the Pokemon used (Just because I think it'll be funny xD)
7. Screencap of Pokemon should be placed in a spoiler when you send it out

Koori the Froslass:

Jay stands on the edge of the battlefield, Pokeball in hand as she prepares for battle.
"Go Koori!" she yelled, tossing the red and white ball out onto the field. As the ball opened, an beautiful, though ominous cry emanated through the arena, a Froslass materialising in front of Jay a moment later.

Ripple's head was clearer now that the air had taken on an even chillier temperature. It settled her nerves and she was more confident than ever when she shouted out the next command without hesitation. "Counteract the headbutt with Hydro Pump!" She knew that the sheer force of the water type attack should be enough to at the very least slow the Froslass down.

Kirai charged up the beam of water for a brief moment in order to ensure the attack's accuracy. It shot out the water soon afterwards and made sure that the liquid was en-route for Koori.

"Keep going!" yelled Jay. She was well aware of the fact that Koori was currently too close to even attempt dodging the Hydro Pump, so she rationalised that she may as well risk it. It was one hell of a big risk though.

With another long eerie cry, Koori collided with the Hydro Pump. The blast of water seemed to split into two as the Froslass sped, or attempted to speed through it. The sheer amount of water seemed to slow her down to the point where she couldn't move much further. Noticing this, Jay quickly shouted out her next move.

"Blizzard! You know what to do!"
The Froslass changed tactics within the space of a few seconds. Before the water could come crashing down on her, she used her Blizzard attack to not only fill the arena, making it hard to see and aiming to damage the Staryu, but also freezing the water from the Hydro Pump, leaving herself encased within it.

She was in an almost graceful pose, her eyes closed in what looked to be concentration and her hands held up to an area near her chest. It looked almost as if she should be holding a sphere of some sort between her pointed fingers.

The Staryu paused in its attacks as the blizzard froze the water in the arena. "Kirai, use Power Gem and break open that case containing the Froslass." Ripple was well aware that Koori would probably pop out with an attack at the ready. She bit her lip and added, "Then quickly use Swift." Kirai made a noise of acknowledgement before zooming off towards the case of ice. It shot a bright whitish yellow beam from its gem and as ice shards flew about in the air used Swift. The yellow stars went along with the bits of ice flying about quite well, Ripple thought.

Truth be told, if the Staryu hadn't done it, Koori would have broken out herself in mere seconds. As expected, she had an attack ready, her eyes glowing a pale lilac colour as she used Psychic. The Froslass stopped the ice shards in their tracks, bringing them together into a shield just a little less thicker than the original ice had been. The Swift crashed into it, breaking apart into golden particles, parts of the icy wall shattering with it. When the Swift attack was over, Koori seemed to pause for a second, dropping what was left of her icy shield and letting it also shatter on the ground.

"Hail then Ominous Wind!" yelled Jay quickly.

The Froslass easily sent another icy ball into the air, causing it to hail once more. Obviously the hail wouldn't do damage to either of them, but it would sure help Koori's evasion.
The Froslass then summoned the purple tinted winds once more, sending them hurtling towards Kirai.

"Kirai, Cosmic Power!" It was the best Ripple could do for now. She couldn't counter the winds so she raised Kirai's defense and special defense. "You can endure it." She told the Staryu with a nod. Kirai glowed with an ethereal light for a brief moment. It appeared as if it was gathering energy from the skies.

As the Staryu made no attempt to move, the Ominous Wind hit head on. Jay couldn't help but wince slightly. Due to Kirai's altered typing, Ominous Wind would do heck of a lot of damage, even through the now higher defences.

"Astonish!"
The Froslass all of a sudden let out a sharp cry. It was eerier than before, more like her normal cry despite it's sharpness.

Ripple bit her lip and winced as both of the attacks rained down on the Staryu. Kirai tilted forwards and nearly fell, but picked itself back up quickly. "Alright, Kirai! Recover and then Thunderbolt!"

Kirai spun around once before absorbing the life energy from the objects around it. With renewed energy it summoned a bolt of electricity. The lightning lit up the sky surrounding it as it danced down to the ground, a jagged streak across the light blue. It headed straight for it's target.

"Full Power Blizzard! Pile up the snow!" yelled Jay, wanting to avoid any strong hits completely. She wasn't going to leave it to chance with her Hail and Snow Cloak combination. Koori's eerie cry once again echoed across the battlefield as the hail that still fell was joined with powerful snow particles, all raining down on Kirai as well as lowering the overall temperature of the arena. The snow began piling up, the Froslass also aiming to dodge the lightning completely in case it was too hot for the snow.

Ripple frowned as the attack failed to hit its target. She quickly thought up a new strategy. "Alright, Kirai. Use Power Gem! Follow it up with a nice quick Gyro Ball!" The trainer knew that Froslass was weak to these types and hoped that at least one of these would hit.

Kirai charged up the white-hot beam and sent it out, red gem gleaming as the energy shot towards Koori. Soon afterwards the Staryu began spinning. It shot off towards Koori, following the light of the Power Gem like a beacon.

"Double Team!" yelled Jay, just slightly too late. The Froslass had to shake her head and recover from the Power Gem attack before she could once again split herself into multiple illusions.

"Confuse Ray!"

With the multiple Froslass' surrounding the Staryu as he continued to spin, there was no guarantee of where the Confuse Ray was coming from. From all angles a small circle of light was circling Kirai, attempting to confuse him.

Kirai picked a Froslass and hoped to get lucky. Now that he was mid-attack there was no way he could get rid of the copies. "Swift after you've used Gyroball!" Ripple called out. Swift seemed to be the best way to get rid of the fake Froslass'.

It just seemed that today wasn't Koori's lucky day. The one Froslass that Kirai picked happened to be her and she didn;t have time to dodge. With her already low health, Jay knew this could be the finishing shot.
"Destiny Bond!" she shouted, the Froslass' eyes immediately began glowing. The Staryu hit Koori head on and the Froslass went flying, landing on the ice and snow covered ground. She wasn't done yet however. As her strength faded, so did Kirai's and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

Kirai fell to the ground with a clatter and a weak cry. Ripple sighed and returned the Staryu to its Pokeball. She turned to Jay and smiled. "Great battle! No one really won though.. Wanna do a rematch?" She grinned lopsidedly. Ripple pulled out another Pokeball and rubbed it with her thumb, waiting for Jay's decision.

Jay returned Koori to her Pokeball.
"You did great," she smiled, before turning to Ripple.
"How about a three on three this time?" she asked, grinning as she grabbed another of her Pokeballs.

"Sounds great!" She grinned widely and threw out her first pokemon. "Go, Lillian!" Ripple called out, sticking her tongue out and winking.

An Ivysaur emerged from the red beam and let out its equivalent of a roar. It appeared to be a female which was rather rare for an Ivysaur and something that Ripple constantly gloated about.
