An agreed upon Meeting

Jak was walking along the path towards the lake from town. He had wondered how Noel was doing since they agreed to meet back at the copse a week later...

Now... That week has gone by. Jak was now stronger. He also had a new look.
As Jak continued along the path. He saw the lake starting to come into view.

"There is the lake." he said to himself. He then looked for the stepping stones he had used last time to get on the island in the center of the lake.

He spent a little bit of time searching and finally found them. He then went towards them and started to make his way across to the copse. "I wonder if Noel is already there..." he said to himself as he made his way across the stones.

Jak listened to what Noel knew about Spiritombs... She had sighed at the end of the explanation.

"That... is sad..." he said as he stayed silent for a moment...

He thought for a bit... "Do... Do you think maybe that when the aura pattern of that spiritomb changed... It was a different spirit?" he said as he continued to think about it.

"It would make a lot of sense..." he then finished his thought.

After a moment Noel then responded to his last question on what she was attempting. She stated she was trying to create an Aura Sphere. "Well. I am sure you will be able to use it sooner or later." he said with a smile. However he still had the thought about the spiritomb on his mind...

'How much wrong could someone do to be put to such a punishment...' he thought.

As they were walking Jak had noticed something golden along the path... "Heh.." he walked over towards it and it was a ribbon that was golden in color.. "Neat..." he brought it over to Noel. "Wonder what this ribbon does..." he said as he examined it.

"It would be a one in hundred shot if one spirit that was good overtook the bad one, but hey crazier things have happened." Noel said with a shrug. "Ya using it later doesn't help me now." Noel said with a smirk as he kept walking. She saw the ribbon and shrugged. "I got one back at Angel's house. I haven't found a use for it. Could use it to decorate something make it look cool." Noel said with a shrug as she kept walking. She was shrugging a lot.

Jak looked towards Noel when she stated the odds on a good spirit taking over a bad one... He sighed at the thought. "The odds are really that bad..." he said as he continued to walk along the path. The wind was starting to blow again after a while of calmness. It was steady and gentle.

"So this item is just decoration?" he said to Noel.
He was a little let down by the fact the Ribbon didn't do anything special. He figured he can give it to a friend then.

Noel shrugs at this question. "I couldn't find a use for one, maybe you can could serve as good bait for a trap." Noel said knowing some Pokemon liked really shiny things, Noel only liked Jewels but she hadn't found any and that made her a bit mad. "It would serve as a nice present also." Noel added thinking about someone Jak could give it to. She was about to tease him again about Obera but refrained from doing such.

Jak looked towards Noel as she mentioned that it could be served as good bait... 'Bait...' he repeated mentally...

However he had other ideas with the ribbon. Then Noel beat him to the idea it seemed, a gift. "I gift... I like that idea." he said to Noel as he put the item in his bag.

He continued looking around as they traveled through the forest.

The wind still remained calm as they had traveled. Not a hint of danger was felt in this wind.

Noel looked around the area. The wind did seem calm, a bit to calm for her tastes. "Something doesn't seem ri-" she didn't get to finish before she had to jump to avoid getting her back broken by a Pokemon. She spun around on her heel to see the Pokemon. "Another one of these eh?" Noel questioned as she made the bone appear between her paws. She spun it around before throwing it at a tree branch and making it fall on the Pokemon.

Jak was just about to agree before something had charged Noel. It was another one of those deer pokemon. Jak noticed that Noel had summoned that weird bone and chucked it towards a tree branch, causing it to fall on the pokemon.

The pokemon still didn't seem to be out just yet. It threw the branch off itself, however the damage it done was apparent. It had some heavy bruises on its back. Jak looked towards Noel to see if she was going to finish it.

Noel was about to try and finish him off but she stopped just short of the Pokemon. She was standing in front of him before she hit him twice in the head. "Hey, go away." Noel told him as the Pokemon looked at her for a moment, it then decided it wasn't worth it considering Jak was there and turned to leave. "Good." Noel said with a smirk as she walked back to where Jak was.

Jak watched Noel go after the pokemon. Then simply hit it in the head twice. She then told it to go away. The Pokemon simply looked at her for a moment, deciding it wasn't worth it and walked away. As it did so, Jak noticed an item in the direction it came from when it originally attacked Noel.

It was a berry of some sort. It was green in color and it had smelled delicious. He smiled as he recognized it was a Lum berry. Known for its healing properties against practically all known status effects against pokemon.

"Shall we continue?" He asked Noel as it seemed the other pokemon had completely left them.

"Ya though let's not go around in a big circle this time, that was weird." Noel said referring to when they went around in a huge circle, That was pretty stupid. She started walking when she thought she heard something in the distance, it was probably that Pokemon she made run away. "So, I have no conversation topic in mind. Do you got anything?" Noel decided to ask not liking silence.

Jak looked towards Noel and chuckled slightly... Last time they came here, they had gone in a huge circle due to a random windstorm. "Yea let's not do that again. Even though it was pretty convenient at the time..." he said still chuckling about the whole idea... That somehow... They had gone in a big circle.

Noel then asked them if he had a topic to talk about. He shrugged, as he did not know of any at the moment either.

Jak looked towards the sky and noticed some clouds above. They seemed to show signs of rain later in the day... Although he did not know of it. They just looked like clouds to him.

Noel stepped lively as she looked at the sky as she kept walking, she was kinda staring at the sun and it hurt a bit. "Note to self, stop doing that." Noel said as she kept walking, she had done that for a dare once and it wasn't worth what she got in return. She did it now because a cloud had just decided to move so she'd get a full blast of the sun. Noel eventually got bored enough and used her psychic to cause one of the iron thorns in her backpack to start flying around.

Jak looked towards Noel and he noticed that she was staring at the sun. "Hey! Quit that you going to..." He went to tell her to stop but she seemed to have stopped almost as he started to say it. She then stated, "Note to self, stop doing that."

Jak chuckled to himself as he noticed that Noel was probably doing this out of boredom. She eventually took out her Iron thorn from her bag... Not physically that is. She used her psychic powers to pull it out and everything. "Having fun there?" he said to Noel as he noticed 2 scarfs on the ground along the path. Oddly they were on opposite sides of the path. He paused for a moment thinking that the way they were aligned could possibly be a trap. "See anything odd about those? Like how they are perfectly aligned on each side of the path?" he asked Noel.

Noel looked at the two scarfs and thought quietly to herself. They did seem like they were placed there, odd to find two scarfs exactly opposite of each other. Almost boarded on the creepy side of this dungeon. "Maybe the scarves belonged to another?" Noel pondered the thought for a moment before she heard something in the bushes. She turned her head to look at whatever decided to come out of them, it happened to be a small bear Pokemon walking calmly. It was understandable as this was it's home.

It walked over to the scarves and stood there back to the two wanderers. If one of them was a jerk they could just knock the Pokemon out right now and take the item's but Noel decided to wait and see what Jak would do.

Jak listened to Noel's thought about the scarfs. "Maybe..." he then heard a sound at the same time as Noel. He turned towards it quickly but eased up as he saw the small bear pokemon walk out of it. He remained there wondering if it was hostile. The majority of the time he had seen them... They weren't.

"Hey there. Are these your scarfs?" He asked in a nice tone to the towards the Teddiursa. It had a paw a single claw in its mouth. Looked pretty cute as a matter of fact. Jak responded as it nodded with a very slight smile you could barely notice, "You shouldn't leave them around like that... Someone might ta---" he was cut off as something was flung at him and exploded in his face sending him flying backwards. "Gah..." he rubbed his head as he had hit a nearby tree. He was then immediately wrapped up in a web.

"The hell?!" he shouted as looked towards the little bear pokemon. It had tears in its eyes. ^{Fake Tears}
