Pure silence

Noel walk inside of the temple and noticed a small change in the atmosphere. Mostly the fact that she felt none of the desert wind behind her. Not just that other then her footsteps there seemed to be no other sound whatsoever. "What did you expect from a place called silent temple" she muttered quietly to herself as she looked back at her temporary partner bandit mostly to make sure he was still there. She didn't want to be alone here she didn't know what Pokemon were here.

Akuroma looked around the temple silently, pulling his hood down. "Can you feel it? The history this place holds. It was no easy task to make this place, and I'm certain those who gave their lives to build this place have many untold stories hidden away in here," the Gallade said. His eyes seemed to light up as he began to walk through the temple, scanning the area for anything. An inscription, a tablet, a treasure, anything.

"Ya seems that way. I hope we do find something that explains this place." Noel said wondering herself what happened here and how it was made. She didn't think about things like that but it was interesting. She then decided to focus on finding some instead of normal conversation. She felt like she wouldn't get much out of this Pokemon. Or she'd get something she didn't want to hear whichever came first. Noel looked for something that stood out or something that was hidden. Whichever she found first.

Akuroma wiped his hand across the wall, peering at it. What he found were inscriptions, and he quickly began to write them on a parchment he pulled out of his bag. "Unown writing by the looks of it. The Temple lives up to its description as being ancient. Very few places still use or even teach Unown writing. I've got a couple of books on the subject myself. However, it's still a bit tricky to learn since so few translations are around." The Gallade became silent once more as he continued to scribble the inscriptions on his parchment, following the wall down as he wrote them. As he continued writing, the Gallade happened to kick a pebble into the darkness deeper into the temple. Looking up, the Gallade watched the pebble disappear, the halls growing quiet once more.

"Unknown writings" she repeated as she brought out her journal and quickly wrote down the symbols. She followed the hall looking at them. She felt this would serve her well later, She noticed the sound the pebble made and how quickly the temple went back to it's quiet. "Lives up to it's name" she said to herself as she looked at the walls. She had filled up most of her journal with the writings, She then put the journal away having nothing else to write on.

"Yeah, definitely likes silence," the Gallade mumbled to himself, beginning to walk deeper into the temple, the darkness itself beginning to encase him. Though it didn't for long, as he sprang back into existence as his hand sparked out, electricity forming around it as a light source in the darkening halls. Taking a moment to get his bearings, the Gallade began to trudge forward, done with writing the inscriptions on the walls and ready for something a bit more physical to find.

Noel walked along the dark hall finding it a bit hard to see. Her eye's adjusted to the darkness very well though so she was able to see. Then a blinding light came from her temporary partner. She put her hands in front of her face and looked at the electricity coming from his fist. Noel was slightly impressed with this skill. She looked ahead waiting for something to appear.

Akuroma's eyes narrowed as he peered into the darkness ahead of them, "Come out of there, I can sense your fear," the Gallade commanded into the darkness. A small "eep" came from within the darkness in response, before a small Ralts walked forward, shaking as it looked up at the Gallade. The small Pokemon appeared to have two bright ribbons tied across its arms, while its neck was surrounded by iron thorns strung together with a small string.

Akuroma stared at the Ralts, not expecting to find one of his own evolutionary line here. Dead silence filled the hallway as the two psychic types stared at each other. Whether they were conversing in some strange Psychic type way or were simply sizing each other up, no one could say. After a few moments, the Ralts undid its ribbons and necklace, holding them up to the Gallade. The taller Pokemon leaned down, taking them items and placing them in his bag before patting the Ralts on the head, smiling. The Ralts then pointed deeper into the darkness, whispering to the Gallade before finally the small Pokemon waved, teleporting away.

Noel looked to the darkness as a small Pokemon came out. She didn't say anything as the two Pokemon looked at each other. "What's going on?" She muttered quietly to herself, she watched as the Pokemon took off the item's it had around it's neck and gave them to bandit. She shrugged it off deciding not to question it. "What did the Ralts have to say?" She asked thinking some sort of psychic must of gone down here. "Or were you just having a staring contest?" She joked knowing that probably wasn't it.

"Hm? Oh not much, for the most part we just tested each other's emotions. When she was sure I wasn't masking my emotions to hide my true intentions, she pointed me in the direction we should most likely go." Feeling his explanation was enough, the Gallade began to trudge into the darkness. He took several twists and turns down the hallways of the temple, not speaking a word as he walked. For the most part, he was simply keeping quiet to listen. Any small noise could be a potential threat or ally. Hopefully all Pokemon from his evolutionary line will be peaceful to them, despite them not having come from here.

Noel walked alongside trying not to make any noise. She followed him along the twists and turns that they came across. She listened to the silence of the temple. She refrained from talking at all knowing how quiet this place was one sound would probably give their position away. On the plus side it did work both ways. She then turned her head thinking she had heard something coming from the opposite hallway. She wanted to ignore it but looked closer to see if she saw anything.

Akuroma noticed the noise as well, turning his head when another noise came from in front of them. The Gallade lowered his hand, letting the electricity disappear, submerging the pair into the darkness with whoever they found themselves against. Best to try and take away the opponent's sight, at least. Akuroma could use his emotion sensing capabilities to find Noel would use her natural senses.

Noel looked around as Bandit let the lighting leave his hand. It was a good tactical advantage considering she had aura and he had some sort of emotion detector. She closed her eye's as she focused her mind. She then saw something as she put her left leg behind her and spun around avoiding what looked like a spinning top. She stopped herself as it came back again. She then threw one of her paw and a wave of purple energy came out of her paw. It hit the spinning Pokemon and sent it off course and back down the hall it came from.

"Four possible enemies" she silently said counting the one she just hit.

Akuroma shook his head, "One's a Ralts, leave him be," the Gallade said as he stood there in the darkness. The Gallade's elbows extended out to his swords. It didn't take long for his own battle to begin, a strange sword swinging at him. The Gallade blocked the blade, the collision caused sparks to fly out, an instance of light shining through the dark hallway. The flash a light as able to, for just a moment, show the positions of the Pokemon. The Ralts watched on from the end of the hallway as the Gallade and Honedge continued to clash blades. An Elgyem floated above, waiting for the combatants to tire themselves out before striking himself. Finally, the Baltoy, having regained its balance, began to rapidly spin back towards the Lucario.

Noel gave a small nod though it was a bit pointless considering it was dark. "Alright" she said as she looked at the Pokemon coming back at her. She jumped over the spinning top as it launched a psychic wave at the Lucario. She placed her feet on the wall and quickly jumped to avoid the said attack, the Pokemon spun at her again hitting her leg. She pulled back and hit the Pokemon with a quick force Palm. She then extended her other paw as the same wave of psychic energy flowed through her and hit the Pokemon sending it farther back.
