| As both the title and description suggest, I'm looking for characters with which Arc ( bio here) can form a team at Grassveil Guild with. If you're too lazy to read the bio, the gist is that Arc is much more of a thinker than a fighter, but he does want to make a positive impact. Regardless, it would also be cool just to RP with someone, so I can get the hang of it, meet new people, and have fun. :) Any character could be interesting to RP with; know that I like stuff to be plot driven so I'd probably want to brainstorm beforehand. Peace out~ |

| How perfect! If the team slot hasn't been taken yet (and from what it seems, it hasn't) I think Lapis would do extremely well for him, considering their personalities are extremely alike, she isn't bubbly whatsoever, the Goomy was going to form a team, as well, and she feels like she can trust dragon types over others. She is also more of the following type, see in the link I provided the first time I listed her name, so she would address Arc as the leader. If there's anything you dislike about this team idea, don't be shy to say something. I can always take no as an answer. | |

That sounds perfect indeed! I certainly can't think of any objections. We'd just have to think of how they would meet and decide to form a team together, considering they're both not very outgoing in terms of meeting other Pokémon. Additionally, I read in Lapis' bio that she doesn't like males (though I didn't see why she preferred dragon types - could you explain that?), so that might make things more difficult. Once we figure that out, I'm down! :D However, one concerning matter remains... when you say you're somewhere close to me, how close does that mean exactly? xD |

However, one concerning matter remains... when you say you're somewhere close to me, how close does that mean exactly? xD They could very well meet in Grassveil or nearby, both searching to form the team. To specify, she's a little uncomfortable and afraid of boys, but like all the fears I roleplay, my characters can overcome them. (Sosio, another character of mine for example, is afraid of insects, but when she finds she can trust them, she's comfortable.) At first, Lapis would just be a little stubborn, shy, and upset when meeting a boy, but she's more intelligent than that, and would open up to him once she sees his personality. I don't roleplay unrealistically XD Oh, right, that! What I mean is... I actually live a few miles from Boston, in Massachusetts XD I just really don't like to specify stuff, especially my location.

Oh, right, that! What I mean is... I actually live a few miles from Boston, in Massachusetts XD I just really don't like to specify stuff, especially my location. That's true. I imagine Arc, as friendly as he likes to think he could be, would naturally feel that Lapis could make a good teammate because she seems withdrawn like him (Especially if in comparison to more extroverted individuals). In any case, would you like to add some sort of dramatic plot device or just RP the meeting and conversation? Realistically, I feel like it would be too hasty for one to decide to form a team with someone upon meeting them for the first time, but maybe we can make circumstances such that that would work. For instance, Arc or Lapis could have been searching for teammates for a long time, maybe even filtering out mons they knew weren't right. Don't worry, I'm not asking for your address or anything. xD But it's always fun to know someone you meet online lives close by. |

| Sure, but what kind of "dramatic plot" could we ever hatch to create such a circumstance that they discover each other's similar personalities and common goals? Writing up something so surprising that forces them to meet seems surreal and too fateful. It's odd enough we ended up living nearby |D
I reach the assumption that you're in High School... How odd would it be if we went to the same one?

I didn't really mean that as in how they'd meet; I assume their meeting is going to be quite ordinary and somewhat awkward. No, if anything happened, it would have to be afterward. But I can't think of anything, either, so there you go. xD It looks like simplicit is best for this. I'm actually a freshman in college. :P |

| Oh. Why do I have to take everything literally? Ugh. Yeah, we can either have them meet at Grassveil while trying to form a team, or along the way if the circumstances ar e somehow different.
Darn! Missed you by a year XD

Darn! Missed you by a year XD I think their meeting would be more likely if they were in Grassveil literally milling about looking for potential teammates - at least, that's the way Arc would go about it; just stand around and watch people, probably feeling hesitant to actually walk up to somebody. I'm not sure if Lapis would do this, but even if not, she could just arrive one of them would notice the other eventually. I don't think it's far fetched that one of them would overcome their shyness and make their approach, especially towards a Pokémon that evidently has a similar personality. Anyway, I'm not familiar with the process here - to start the RP, where do you go? |

| Yeah, sounds like the norm when looking for teammates, as most do that. It's pretty funny, actually. Almost as if it's tradition to make a first meet awkward.
Lapis could pull that off, as she would be annoyed if it were him who came up to her. She would think he was being too pushy, so she would have to make the offer to him. She'd give it a shot by overcoming the over-stereotypical thought that all boys are awful.
You remind me of when I first joined ^-^ The process is simple: each section is a place, for example, labeled "Grassveil Town" and "Pecha Forest", that you find when you scroll down on the forum page. Clicking one of those will link you to the page where you can host a topic. There, it will look similar to here, where you roleplay. Every time it's your turn, you'd scroll down to the bottom, click the white template for writing, and practically write a 1-5 paragraph part of the story one creates in a roleplay. Sorry if it seems like I over-explained, I just like to get everything done in one blow.

In any case, this should be in the Guild section then, yes, not the Grassveil one? And should I start it or do you feel particularly enthusiastic? |

| The Guild is just out of Grassveil, where most Pokemon discover those who also wish to form or be a part of the team. Finding that mon within the actual guild seems unfit; you can't enter the guild to look for someone if you don't already have plans to form a team. | |

| Touché. Any location in Grassveil in particular, or can that just be improvised? Similarly, if we happen to describe Pokémon in the background, do they have to be actual characters from the site or can they be made up? |
