Obera and silver falls

As Jak and Obera entered the area of the falls. Jak was still being amazed by the light the falls would give off. He was still confused how it gave off such a wonderous silver-ish light. "We are here. Monochrome falls." he said with a smile.

He then ran towards the water near the falls. Just far enough to only have the mist lightly hit him. It gave him chills but it was not enough moisture to cause any pain at all. "Do you like it?" He asked Obera as he walked back towards her.

At certain angles you could see different colors. Majority of it though was that beautiful silver-ish gleam that glowed from the falls.

Jak
Jak had already been out along the edge of the smoke coming along the side wall of the cave towards the direction inwards of the cave. He had figured that she might have attempted to back out of it at some point. However it might have been quicker then he expected as he wound up in front of her after she had launched the rocks into the smoke. He did not end up behind her like he had hoped.

He did not think he had the upper hand. He was just having some fun in this as he got to hone his own skills. The smoke was starting to go away since the rocks being launched into it somewhat pushed fresh air into the area.

Jak was building a flame as he had been traveling along the edge so when he got through and saw Obera after the stones had been launched he released a few embers while leaving one last one to build up a bit hotter then normal.

Fang sat there building something up. She had used the rocks as a distraction and had caused a large one to fall right on top of Jak and others to come from the side. She opened her mouth as flames licked the sides and if she was right Jak would be right in the way of her overcharged Flamethrower. She did this in training which is why the sides of the top of the cave were burned as almost the whole cave is consumed in a all consuming flame

Jak had walked right into Obera's trap. What he thought was going to be a sneaky move turned out to be a move he wound up walking into.

The walls on the side of him closed in. A large rock dropped in front of him. He was now in the way of a massively overcharged flamethrower attack. 'crap...'

He took the full force of the flamethrower attack. He attempted to stay as low as he could but the flames literally engulfed the entire area. He was left with some scorch marks on him. When the flames went out. He was visibly becoming very worn out. She had bested him once more. His tail flame was still strong though. Showing he still had the energy to fight. However having those burns were pretty painful.

"You... are very strong." he said with a smile as he got back up. He was trying not to move certain parts where he got burned worse then the other parts as it stung pretty badly in certain areas. He was capable of continuing though.

He took a moment as he waited to see if she was going to continue the battle. He was able to continue although it probably would not be smart if they were to enter another dungeon. It really depended on how long they planned on staying at the falls.

Obera started to feel a large amount of fatigue from the fight. She overcharged that attack to much and she was paying for it now. She looked fine though and her tail flame was still burning brightly but she felt a small wave of compassion. Normally she'd fight until they dropped but something told her to ease off. "Fights over" she said loud enough for him to hear. She gave no reasons but that was because she didn't know why she stopped feeling the urge to fight herself. Her mind worked double trying to find out why

Jak
Jak was still prepared for an attack however he heard Obera state that the fight was over. It was completed much faster this time, compared to their last battle that is. He then got out of his defensive stance and looked at Obera. She actually seemed like she was done with the fight. There was no reason given about the fight being over. It was just over... He wondered what was up. He looked at himself and noticed the burns on him. 'oooh... I am going to feel that later...' he said to himself.

"I apologize for that. I put to much strength into that attack" she said as she walked over to her bag and looked through it. She then took out a small berry she had been keeping in her bag lucky she didn't crush it when she went to sleep. She walked back over and handed it to Jak. "Here" she muttered out as she handed they berry to him. She again didn't know why she felt the need to do this it was just something her head told her to do

Jak smiled as Obera gave him the berry. "It is fine. Training is training." he said as he accepted the berry. He ate some of it as he went to lean against the wall. He looked around for a bit. He noticed that the area had a plenty good more scorch marks. He also took note of the amount of rocks that had been littered around the area.

He looked at Obera. She seemed to be in thought about something. It was still pretty dark out. It was probably halfway through the night by now.

"Which do you want too do, will we explore the dungeon or leave? I'll do whatever you believe is right" she said giving him the option to either leave or go. They'd need to sleep of course but she wanted to know now so she could make a plan for the forest if they were going back through there. She'd also need to prepare for the new dungeon considering she had no idea what was in there. She slightly hoped something strong was there but doubted it greatly.

Jak listened to Obera's question. He thought for a moment about going back into the dungeon. It was a difficult question to answer as there are some types in there that can give some good training. However it can be oppressing in there. "We could explore it. It does have some interesting ruins in there. It even has a few pokemon in there that can be good for training." he responded.

He looked back towards the falls after replying to the question. It was most likely halfway through the night by now. It would be best to rest a bit though before entering either the cave or the forest.

"Then we shall explore the cave" she said as she leaned on the wall and closed her eye's. One thing someone would notice of her is she doesn't sleep on beds she slept on walls. It was just another weird thing about her that made her interesting. Inside her mind she was focusing on tactics she could use there. She had no idea what was there so she felt that she needed to be ready for anything. But right now she just had to think about why she was being nice to others it was odd to her.

Jak noticed that she had went to lean against the wall and she closed her eyes. He went to sit against the wall as he kept a watch over the area. He wondered for a bit. Last time Obera had went full out until he was completely wiped out. This time she hasn't. Although it was a good thing. He expected another full out battle. He was being dumb last time trying to push it too far. However this time he still had plenty of energy to fight even if he got burned pretty badly. This lingered in his mind as he drifted to sleep.

Obera just waited as the night started to pass. Her mind was full of idea's of what could happen there and what items might of been in the temple.

It was the day time and Obera was still fully awake. "I have to stop doing that" she said to herself as she waited for Jak to get up. She didn't want to go on ahead but he'd know she was in the temple. She just waited because. She didn't know she just did. "What the hell mind" she said to herself as she waited.

Jak woke up as the light came up. He wondered if Obera actually slept last night. She was still leaning against the wall same spot and all. However her eyes were open this time. "Good morning." he said with a smile. "Ready for the ruins?" he asked her as he got up and got his bag. He was ready to go into the ruin's unless she decided to head back through the forest. He would be open to anything. He just thought the ruin's would be a good place to explore for a bit. He was sure he missed a lot of stuff since last time he was there with Noel.

"Morning" she simply said as she looked to tue back of the cave. She was thinking about it the whole time and nodded. "Yes I am ready" she said as she got off the wall and looked at the ruins. "Then shall we?" She asked as she started to walk ready to take on this new challenge. She wished she knew why she was being nice but she couldn't think of anything the whole night. She decided to fight to clear her mind.

Jak nodded as he followed her towards the back of the cave. He wondered what he would spot this time as he entered. The last experienced showed him that not all pokemon in dungeons were hostile. It showed they had more then just hostility in them. It helped him learn a lot that day. He was ready to go face the challenges of the dungeon once more. He was prepared for this journey, Along with his new friend.
