The copse's secrets

Jak {13} ^{-11 from entry}
After recently returning from his trip to the Silent Temple ^{Monochrome Ruins} Jak decided to walk around town before entering after his long journey. He was not yet ready to go back to town. It has probably been a good day or two since he got back from the temple..

He is currently west of Grass Veil. He felt as if something was calling him that day. He decided to wander around the area's just outside of town. He had no clue what was calling him. He had no sense of direction of where it was coming from. At some point in time he noticed a large lake. It had a vibrant display of colors from orange to yellow. The colors of autumn. "Wow... That is beautiful." he said as he walked towards the lake. The feeling of being called got a little stronger as he did. He took notice. He looked further out in the lake to see an island covered in with many trees of different colors that was expected during fall.

He took notice of the stones further along the side of the lake that led to the center. They seemed to be placed just close enough together to be used to jump across to the island. He decided that this would be a great chance to explore somewhere new. He walked towards the stones and looked at the water and back at the stones. He knew if he had fallen into the water it would be big trouble. The charmander grinned and decided he would take the chance. He started jumping from stone to stone across the lake eventually he got the the center where the island was located. It was far more beautiful there then he had expected. All the colors of fall were there. Even if it wasn't the time of the season yet.

"What is this place...." he said to himself.

Noel looks to where Jak had pointed had shrugged. "Better then no path" she said as she looked around for anything that could be dangerous. She did sense something as she jumps back making sure to grab Jak as she did and pull him back. She stands ready as two pokemon appear from the tree's, Noel smirks as she gets ready to fight them wanting to win and keep going forward in hope's to find whatever this dungeon was hiding from them.

Jak {4} ^{-15 from encounter}
Jak was grabbed and pulled back as two other pokemon jumped from the tree's.
The pokemon that had jumped from the tree's were a sentret and a furret. They did not seem to keen on letting Jak and Noel pass peacefully. The Both pokemon let out an extremely powerful shout. It was apparent that it was the move hyper voice and Jak had held onto his head in pain.

Jak quickly went in his bag and threw one of his blast seeds at them. As it exploded both pokemon got separated from the blast. He then ran towards the one that had gotten up faster then the other and blasted it with embers. It had then fallen down and stayed there. Jak looked towards the other one and back at Noel to see where she went.

Noel looked down enduring the pain the voice gave her as she looks over to the two feral pokemon as she gets into a guard stance and waits. After the seed was thrown she went off in the opposite direction of Jak to get the other feral pokemon.

She goes in front of the Furret and runs at it using her Force palm, instead of flying Noel grabbed it with her other paw and held it in place as she charged up another attack and sky uppercuts it away and into a tree.

Jak noticed the other pokemon got launched into the tree. The sentret never got up and Jak only nodded as he walked back to Noel. His head was still hurting from that blast of noise...

Jak couldn't quite hear for a bit at the moment due to this. Everything sounded slightly muffled. It was not as bad as having a blast seed go off an one's ear. But it still hurt. The sound slowly returned to him. "That was loud..." he said rubbing his head. "Was that a hyper voice?" He said in slight pain.

He hoped he did not have to ever encounter such a sound ever again. "Shall me move on?" He asked Noel. Still rubbing his head..

Noel nods. "Ya I'm sure that was the move, to loud to be something else." She said as she looked ahead to where they were walking. "I think I sense something but it might not be hostile but we should be on outer guard." She said as she walked onward into the dungeon but she then got a weird feeling in her head. She collapsed to her knees as her head feels like it was splitting open but as fast as it started it halted as she stands up and shakes her head. "Weird" she says as she keeps going forward.

Jak {5}
Jak listened to Noel. She thinks it was Hyper voice also. She then stated she sensed something. It might not be hostile she also stated.

Jak looked around. Didn't quite see anything. He then spotted some movement. There was a worm like pokemon moving across the tree. "Odd. Haven't seen one of those in a long time. I think its a wrumple." He said pointing towards it. There was another pokemon he spotted that was flying in between tree's It was not keen on coming near Noel and Jak. It kept its distance for the time being. He then noticed that it ran into one of the tree's and a Lum berry fell out of it. It then promptly left afterwords. "Hmm I guess it wanted to offer it as a sign of peace?" He said to Noel as he picked up the berry. "Would you like it?" He asked Noel. He also noticed a few branches had fallen with the berry. Only one of the right size and shape to be of use though. He picked it up also.

He did not notice the loose root nearby though.

Noel watches the pokemon closely making sure they were not going to try anything. When she felt like they were not she smiled as Jak offered her a berry. Noel nods as she takes the item and places it inside her bag and looks around, she noticed nothing else so she decided to looked ahead. "Well let's get going" she said to Jak as she made sure her scarf was still fine and walked obward

Jak{5}
Jak looked back towards Noel so they could continue their journey. As he started walking he immediately tripped on a large loose root. It was caught on his leg. It scratched him slightly as he fell. He reached for the root and took it off his leg.

He was not very amused to have something 'magically' catch his leg. He sighed as he put the large root in his bag. He looked in his bag to check his supply levels. He was running low on items that would give him energy... He only had one sitrus berry left. Other than that orange gummi. He looked ahead to see if anything was nearby. He had just notice the slight shift in the wind...

Noel looks at Jak as he trips on a root and fell to the ground. Noel couldn't help but that that was ironic considering she had hit a root like he had. "You ok?" She asks slight concern in her voice as she asked. Though she knew if he was feeling to bad she'd.call him a baby it was a.root for crying out loud.

She looks at the root and pulls out the same from her bag. She looks at it before comparing. "Huh it's the same" she said to herself as she put it back in her bag

Jak looked towards Noel. "Ya I am fine. Just didn't see this here..." He chuckled slightly as he realized how stupid he probably looked.

"Hey. it looks like the same branch we found earlier... He just realized after he had already put the branch in is bag.

He was now curious to where these roots were coming from since they were practically the same exact shape and form as each other... Jak looked around the area expecting something. He was not sure what though. He heard something come from behind him. He snapped in that direction to see what it was.

Noel walked forward then she stopped sensing the same energy she had before. She looked down and saw another leaf this one was a pure white. She carefully puts it into her bag and then looks ahead. "I feel strange" she said as she clasped her head and fell slightly. She felt a wave of energy which felt familiar. "Whatever is there it's powerful but not alive?" She said as she stood up. "Let's hurry" she said as she walked faster

Jak saw Noel clasp her head. He was growing a little worried about Noel. He hoped she was not falling ill.
He followed Noel along the path. Hoping to find whatever it is that was hidden in the forest. The feeling of being called steadily grew stronger. Even though it is growing slowly. He felt it. He had never felt such a feeling before. It is making him a little worried. It was completely strange to him.

He looked around searching for what was calling him. He still could not find anything. It was not something someone heard. It was just a feeling in his head...

As he continued to follow noel he did not notice anything interesting along the path. He did keep an ear out for any movement though.

Noel decided to stop and smirked at Jak. It's late we should make camp" Noel said to him as she crossed his arms. "I'm fine by the way about the mother things. I found out why she did it, she did it to protect me and her it was self defense. Guess I can't trust my mind that much" she said as she scratched the back of her head and pulled out a book. "This is my mother's journal"

Jak looked at Noel. He was glad that she was fine about what she had learned about her mother.
Jak looked up at the sky. It was actually getting dark pretty quickly. "I never noticed it was getting late." he chuckled. "I am glad you are alright." He said with a smile.

He looked towards the sky once more and it was a dim red and orange light. The clouds moving over head. It looked beautiful there. Combined with the already colored leaves of the forest. It was amazing. "This is nice. Too bad this place is a dungeon." he sighed.

He looked around for a bit. Hoping to find somewhere they could block off one area of the land. That way they did not have to watch all sides of themselves.

It was starting to get a little cold there too it seemed. Jak did not feel too much of it. His tail usually kept him warm unless it was snowing. Luckily it wasn't.

Noel smirks "heh I'm always fine" she said as she looked around for anything they could use as shelter. She then saw a few fallen tree's which made it looks like a weird camp that was big enough for a few pokemon. "Well theres that" she said as she pointed to the house like fallen tree's lucky them. "Might if been someone's house once" she said as she walked over to it.
