The copse's secrets

Jak {13} ^{-11 from entry}
After recently returning from his trip to the Silent Temple ^{Monochrome Ruins} Jak decided to walk around town before entering after his long journey. He was not yet ready to go back to town. It has probably been a good day or two since he got back from the temple..

He is currently west of Grass Veil. He felt as if something was calling him that day. He decided to wander around the area's just outside of town. He had no clue what was calling him. He had no sense of direction of where it was coming from. At some point in time he noticed a large lake. It had a vibrant display of colors from orange to yellow. The colors of autumn. "Wow... That is beautiful." he said as he walked towards the lake. The feeling of being called got a little stronger as he did. He took notice. He looked further out in the lake to see an island covered in with many trees of different colors that was expected during fall.

He took notice of the stones further along the side of the lake that led to the center. They seemed to be placed just close enough together to be used to jump across to the island. He decided that this would be a great chance to explore somewhere new. He walked towards the stones and looked at the water and back at the stones. He knew if he had fallen into the water it would be big trouble. The charmander grinned and decided he would take the chance. He started jumping from stone to stone across the lake eventually he got the the center where the island was located. It was far more beautiful there then he had expected. All the colors of fall were there. Even if it wasn't the time of the season yet.

"What is this place...." he said to himself.

Alone that's what she was feeling like now as she looks at a book written in her island's language. She read it all as her memory passes by of how she got this book some figure said this was her mother's journal and that would explain why she did what she did and how it was supposed to be the right thing to do.

She read it and apparently her father was going to rule over the island and her mother stopped her. A little cliche in the end but he planned on destroying the island. She remembered it differently but that might if been because she was a kid so Noel did what she felt she had to do at the time. She takes her scarf and wraps it around her neck.

She then jumped down and landed with a small crash all her bandages were gone and she was back to full. No she was stronger with a new resolve she wasn't just going to beget stronger then her mother. She was going to be the strongest Lucario. "I swear on my life I will be the strongest" she said as she walked on.

Jak took a moment to think why it felt like he had to be there at this time. He jumped up onto one of the rocks on the shore see if he can get a view further into the island without going too far in just yet. It seemed that did not help. He looked back towards the main landmass he came from. "Oh wow. I came that far...." He said a little shocked with himself going across that many stones.

"Guess I will be here for a bit..." He said as he jumped down off the rock.

He looked in his bag to make sure he had enough food for a bit. He was somewhat satisfied with the supplies. He looked up at the tree's to see the wind shift inward towards the island. "Odd." he said to himself.

Noel walks on wind going against her blowing her red scarf and black Jacket combo in the wind as she did. She wondered how the charmander she had left behind at the temple was doing she had literally broken down right in front if him and she never did that. "Dang it that was stupid" she said quietly to herself her voice barely a hushed whisper as she takes out her black journal and starts to write in it.

She wrote in a way no one else would be able to understand because this came from her homeland. She wrote in a way that looked like the unknown lettering so some could never get what she was writing here. This was the way she prefers it because she had some personal things in this journal.

She walked on not paying attention to where she was going she knew she'd be fine here she was before and she will be now.

Jak looked back towards the lake. He marveled at its beauty. Although from the other side you could see many colors that was reflected from this island. It certainly still liked perfect to him. He confined continued to watch the wind make small ripples across the entire lake. He though he saw something moving along the opposite shore. It was to too far for him to be able to know for sure.

He decided to rest for a little bit against the rock facing the lake. He felt the cool breeze hit him. He kept his eyes open in case anything was in the area. He had not been here before so he did not want to take unneeded risks.

After a moment he thought about the events that jag happened at silent temple. How Noel suddenly broke down in tears after a sudden realization about her past. He hoped she was OK. He did not like to see others sad. This has never left his mind since that day. Every so often he would have that thought come in his head and replay over and over. It did weigh down on him for some time. He simply accepted there was nothing else he could of done to help. She needed to find her path. He could not interfere. He only wished to have been some help.

After such thoughts he continued to look at the lake. Capturing the picture in his mind.

Noel looked out at the lake and then down to the water as she sat down to take a rest. She took out a sitrus berry and ate it to regain what energy she had lost on the way here, it wasn't much but she liked to be at full strength when she was at a dungeon. She didn't like being hurt or tired she needed to be strong.

She looked over to the other side of the lake as a figure was on the other side. She looked closer and thought she saw something there. She recognized a flame but shook her head at this thought couldn't be Jak that would be to weird a coincidence. She did decide to see who this was so she got up and sprinted faster then normally to the figure.

She was getting faster and faster because of her training to learn a new move. She needed this move so she'd be faster then anyone around.

Jak noticed the moving figure again. "What is that?" he said to himself.
He then noticed the figure picking up speed add it started to come across the rocky pathway. He looked cost at what the figure was. It was moving to fast for him to see at the moment. However it was blue and black.

He got into a defensive position add it wad coming across the lake. He did not take any chances add he waited. Add it got closet he saw that the figure was a lucario.

"Noel? " he questioned if it was jet but immediately recognized the scarf she always had. He then got out of his defensive position and waited for her to get there. It should not take long at that speed.

Noel comes to a skidding stop as she looks at the Pokemon in front of her. Though he had no markings or a way for Noel to tell that he was Jak the fact that he had not tried to jump up nor run from the Lucario meant that either this was him, or some other Pokemon who just happened to know her name. Not likely.

"Hey little man" she said with her normal smirk wanting to laugh at what she just said. She was trying to go back to being normal after reading her mother's journal but a sense of unease was still obvious in her mind though she didn't show it at all.

Jak looked at Noel as she skidded to a halt.
She then said to him "hello little man. " He chuckled.
"Noel! " he said with joy noticing she was happy again from what he could tell.
"You got a lot faster lay time i saw you." he complemented.

He noticed all the bandages were now off. "all better?" he asked as he hinted towards where the bandages were. he was very curious about her being here of all places. He would of thought she could have been in town. But here?

He was curious to quay brought her here. "So what brings you here?" he asked.

Noel smirks. "Hey that was nothing I can go faster" scary thing was she wasn't lying about that speed it her specialty. She was also a great fighter and smart also. But now her mind was bragging to herself so she told her head to shut up for a moment and listen to Jak. She then punches her open paw. "Yup back to full strength, nothing can beat me now" she said with a smirk full of confidence.

"I could ask you the same" she said as she thought for a moment. "Boredom I guess nothing much to do, I was going to explore Blackmist mountain later but I decided to hold off on that for a bit, you?" She asks wondering the same.

Jak was not very shocked about the question in return.
"Honestly I do not know why I am here. I was only exploring the outside of town until I came across this lake. " he said slightly worried. "I feel like I was being called here..." he continued.

He had forgotten about that feeling because it had went away as he reached the island. However now that the feeling had returned... He felt a little worried about it. He had never had Thai Happen to him before.

He looked towards the orange trees that leg into a forest of many colors. He looked back to Noel. She could probably tell that he was a little worried. It should have been visible.

Noel smirks then turns to the forest and cups her paws over her face as if to make her voice louder. "Hey anyone asking Jak to come here?" A few seconds and not even the wind could be heard as Noel shrugs and turns to Jak. "Well seems like they don't wanna show" Noel said as she gave a small sigh wondering why she decided to come here.

"Hey come on don't worry, we are both strong we should be fine here" she said with a smirk full of confidence. She knew she'd be fine here she did go places that were stronger then here so they should be fine. Unless some giant Pokemon wanted to destroy Noel that would be bad.

Jak chuckled at Noel's shout. He was also confident in his abilities. He was more worried about what exactly made him feel add if he is belong l being called.
"Yea." he replied shortly after she had said they should be fine.

He looked towards Noel and then asked if she would like to jag into the forest.
"Shall we go in?"

He was ready to find out what was calling to him. He looked towards the forest path.

Noel smirks once more. "Ya let's" she said as she started to walk into the dungeon ready for anything that came at them. She knew what was probably here were Pokemon weaker then the one's she had faced it her places. She only knew that because this dungeon was near other weak one's so this dungeon couldn't be so bad even if it had a huge secret which she paid the rest of the money for.

Jak looked at Noel and nodded as he followed her into the dungeon. He was ready to find what was calling him, as odd as it sounded. He looked around the entrance of the dungeon just before entering. He did not find anything of use though so he continued.

He was happy to see Noel was better.
As they entered the dungeon, the familiar hostility of the dungeon came upon theme. However this time it felt different. Not as hostile as other dungeons oddly, although it was still present.

Hey looked around himself as he entered. Still not quite used to the feeling of a dungeon's hostile presence. He sighed as he knew he was slightly over reactive about the feeling.
