Shining light.

Fang walked through the entrance of the new founded dungeon, she jumped on the rocks that lead to the island and stood there for a second looking at all the tree's some had the same color as her a golden glow but she didn't get distracted by this and kept going forward. She wanted to find something here that would interest her.

She didn't tell her other members about this because she slightly wanted it to be a surprise so she hoped she could figure out the riddle and find whatever treasure was here and if not she would get stronger so that would be worth it.

Lapis squirmed into the leafy dungeon. It was a little hard to cross the river, considering she couldn't hop or step over some parts of the water, so she had to cross over the icy water, too. Some of the orange leaves clung to here slimy foot, making it uncomfortable to move.

As miserable as this was, the only expression she had on her face was the classic squiggly mouth between her two round cheeks. Unfortunately, her blue body stood out against the bright orange surroundings, but it was still better than being purple.

Fang decided to sit for a second and look at the item's she had on hand, a few red gummies and a revive seed seemed good for this dungeon. She decided to get back up and look around for anything that stood out. She noticed something standing out in the bright orange around and thought it was a feral Pokemon so she decided to walk the other way to avoid it.

Lapis looked up from the leaves and spotted another Pokemon. Another kind she had never seen before! It's fire licked the cold autumn air, leaving little streams of visible heat. The Goomy stretched her body up at first in surprise, and then got to work at moving.

Because she had grew up in a town with only Goomies, she had never seen any other pokemon before. The goo ball wouldn't even know if a pokemon she met were rare or peculiar in a way or not. If she ran into a legendary, she wouldn't know it.

Fang took note of the Pokemon looking at her, fang had never seen that type of Pokemon before and slightly wondered what it was but she decided that her curiosity ended up making her pay for it later considering that the Pokemon next to her could be a feral Pokemon and since it was a Pokemon unknown to her she felt like it wasn't worth the risk.

Fangs eye's did catch the large tree's with the seemingly golden leaves as the shiny charmander stared at the tree's for some time completely forgetting about the possible feral Pokemon around her.

She finally finished slugging over to where the bright yellow lizard was, panting when she made it. It wasn't too far away, sure, but she never used so many "muscles" at once. She would've greeted her right away, if she wasn't so exhausted.

Her goopy skin screamed with sore pain. It was enough to make her head feel congested. The dry air was hypertonic in comparison to her moist body, so already she was losing lots of moisture. This multi-kind of tire made her squish down, like the way she would if she were to "sit" or sleep.

Finally, she caught her breath, and stated, "Hello, I'm Lapis."

Fang snapped back to reality as she turned her head to see the same Pokemon she thought to he feral, deciding since it just said hello to her the possibility of it being feral just shot down but wasn't still gone after all fang was once labeled feral just because she lived in a dungeon with her clan.

"My name is Obera Yun Fang but just fang will do" Fang says feeling if someone or in this case something gave you their name the most polite thing to do would be give a name back. It was her name though and since she was so far from her homeland it would be strange if this Pokemon knew her.

"Well, then Fang it is," she stated finally, observing her new acquaintance. "...and what kind of pokemon might you be? I presume a fire-type of some kind because of your tail." She gestured to the flame with her antennae.

This was good for Lapis. Not only did she have company in this strange dungeon, but she was also learning about species. The fact that she barely knew anything was rather terrifying on a certain level. She had to know everything about pokemon in general before she would feel comfortable around them. No, she wouldn't have to know their secrets or favorite food or anything like that, just the species basic stats. If she went around asking for everyone's information, she might look like a stalker.

Fang just nods as the pokemon says her name as she looks at the new acquaintance trying to identify what pokemon it was, apparently she was doing the same because her next question was what Fang was. "I am a charmander" Fang says simply feeling it a easy question to say.

She looked around the dungeon ready if anything tried to strike. It wasn't out of fear but she had no knowledge of this dungeon and rushing into a new place with no info wasn't like Fang, she did it because there was no info to be found here. It was a new dungeon so they only thing she could do is rush in.

"Charmander....." Lapis echoed. Even just names of species sounded majestic. Unlike Goomy. It sounded just as she looked. Goopy, drippy, runny..... Ugly, weird, bizarre...... Lapis suddenly became self-conscious again, slinking down and pulling all her goo together so she looked just a bit neater.

This dungeon seemed not to be too intimidating, so she wasn't worried about wild pokemon so far. But who knew what could lurk in a place like this..... Terrible things were always possible anywhere. Why else would there be such things as bullies and thugs? Who knew what terrible past could've made them the way they are.

Fang heard the pokemon repeat her species name but decided not to think anything of it, she knew it might of just been a pokemon who had never seen nor heard of a certain species but then Fang remembered something. "Just so you know, I'm a shiny pokemon normal charmanders do not look like this".

"How about we work together? It would be best in this dungeon if we work together" Fang asked offering her strength to the weird looking blob.

"Shiny? Isn't that like a super rare and coveted color condition? I think my mayor was one.... He was peach... But anyway, what color are normal Charmanders?" Shiny was a weird word to describe it. It wasn't exactly truthful, but was at least easier to say than any other term it could've been. She liked the different-color idea so much, she died herself blue. "Normal Goomies aren't blue, they're purple with green cheeks. I just died myself."

Considering she didnt know her way around, wasn't very strong, and was also very small, she nodded in agreement. Teamwork always felt the best, but leading wasn't really her style. She waited for Fang to naturally take charge, which happens in most pokemon if nothing is done by another. It was natural, however, for Lapis to do nothing until someone told her to.

"Normal charmanders are orange" she said in her normal cold tone of voice she knew this Pokemon wasn't the same color she had seen a few others of the same species. This was explained by the Pokemon that she had colored herself. Fang looked over to the next part of the area and started to walk. She was a bit worried of what was here but like she normally was she didn't show it. It would take a expert to tell.

"Hmm," Lapis hummed thoughtfully. She felt very self-conscious, as she was the first Goomy to come to the area. Most Pokemon had never seen one before due to that, so she was very subjected to judgement. Pokemon might think of her as slimy and gross, so she did her best to look formidable.

Lapis then looked about. The pathway through the dungeon seemed pretty straight forward. Surely if the two set forth, they would come across the end or center of the dungeon, where often times treasure was rumored to lay. From what Lapis heard about the dungeon, was that the fee was finally payed to pass through, which meant the Goomy didn't have to see any drama with the gang gone and allowing entrance. Hopefully they didn't run into them, either way.

Fang closed her eyes as she walked along the path. She didn't know what was here but part of her was still on edge because of this whole thing. She looked at her partner for now and wondered what it was like to by that type of Pokemon. She quickly shoved this thought down and decided to try some conversation. "So where are you from?" She asked wondering slightly. She didn't care much but better then not talking.
