Jak

After visiting the town of Grass veil and learning about the area. Jak decided he should explore the surrounding area's

Eventually deciding on Pecha forest for supposedly being easy to get some resources he might need.
He needed to make a new bag to hold his items so gathering some. Along with some initial supplies as he has depleted his supplies from his journey across the land to Grass Veil.

Some items that he hopes to acquire are some Oran berries, Pecha berries, Watmel berries, and seeds of varying effects.

Jak wanders into the fields searching for some areas that have been described to him to have some useful berries.



'If I can get my hands on some leafy berries I could possibly make a bag to store some of my items I just hope this isn't too difficult... Others in town say this area should be generally safe and I should not have too much trouble with the the pokemon there.' Jak continues his thought.

"I thought gummies are rare. We ran into a couple so far..." Jak said in a confused tone.

Jak picks up the two gummies.

"Which one would you like?" Jak asked fang. Noting the pink one is a favorite to poison types.

"I would assume the green one would normally be a grass type's favorite gummi?" Jak asked to be sure his information was correct.

"If its ok with you could I keep the green one?" Jak asked Fang.

'I think Serena might like this. She has done a lot for me so far. I would like to thank her somehow. The information about the town helped a lot.' Thought Jak.

Fang shrugs deciding she didn't care for either. "You may have both I have no use for them" she replied coldly as she kept going forward, she was hoping to be able to fight someone here but it seemed like that wasn't going to happen. It made her slightly mad but she kept going forward

"Ok. Thanks..." Jak said. He continued forward to see another pink gummi on the ground.
"How in the... Soo many gummies. There is something wrong about this..." Just as he saying that.

[Inventory Changes]
+1 green gummi
+1 pink gummi

"Oh Sna-----" Jak went to shout but...
The ground gave way and he fell at least a good 8 feet down.
He attempted to grab something to break the fall only succeeding slightly.

Managing to grab a nearby root with his claws however it did not hold to long.
Continuing to fall another 8 feet. About 16 feet down in a hole jak is now a bit stuck.

The gummi did fall down the hole with Jak however he took little notice.



"Gah. That was a bit of a fall." Jak said in somewhat of a pained voice.

Jak seemed to have used a lot of energy trying to prevent the fall.
"Can you lend me a hand. I Don't think I can get out of this alone." Jak asked woozily.

'This is seriously gonna hurt for a while' Jak thought as he looked at his arm. He seemed to have made a decent hit to it. Leaving a nice bruise along it.

Fang turned around to see the charmander fall into a pit and couldn't help but let out a small laugh, she quickly covered this though and walked over to the pitfall and looked down. He was a good 16 feet in so she would have to find something to get him out, or she could just leave that sounded good also but she felt like she'd be ruining her team name by doing that so she walked over and grabbed a long thick stick.

Holding the stick down the hole she quickly said. "Grab it" as she waited to pull him up

Jak {2}

Jak grabs the stick that is offered by Fang and holds on tight.

After getting pulled out he thanked Fang for the help.
"That really hurt." Jak said as he looked at his now bruised arm.

"Yea... That is gonna take some time to fade away." Jak mumbled aloud.

"Lets try to take it a little easy for a bit. I used a lot of my strength trying to grab that root on the way down."
Jak said as he pointed to the now completely torn up root.

"Thought the claws would help grab it but I guess that was a little too much..." He said with a weak laugh.

'I wonder who put that there...' Jak thought. He did know that mystery dungeons can have traps however... He always thought it had to be someone placing them there. They simply can't just be there. That just breaks the logic in his mind if its simply there... He could understand certain things could be there due to the nature of the dungeons...

Fang shrugs at this and wanted to keep going, but her companion seemed to say he wanted to stay put so she reluctantly sits down and waits for him to recover. She did have the idea to push him back into the bold but decided not to for the same reason she pulled him out. So she sat there looking at the sky not saying a word

Jak {2}

Jak decided to eat one of the gummies to gain some energy back so they could at least continue on.
Jak does not really like to stay in one spot too long. After sitting for a moment he took out the pink gummi and eats it slowly.

He decided that he does not really like the gummi however he pushed on to get some form of energy out of it. After a moment he was somewhat feeling a bit better. However he was still in pain. He wished he had an oran berry instead. It would have helped a lot more due to its healing properties. He decides to push on after sitting for another minute.

Fang sat on the ground staring at the sky not really taking note to anything going on around her, she was slightly lost in her own mind thinking about her home she sat back on the ground looking at the sky waiting for her temporary partner to get his arise in gear so they could continue

Jak sighs...

"Lets get moving. I need to find something to help with this." Jak said while pointing at his now clearly visible bruise.

'This is embarrassing. Falling into that hole in front of someone I am still getting to know. They probably think of me as clumsy' Jak thought.

Jak started walking ahead towards the next area.

'Hopefully I can find an oran berry soon.' Jak thought.

Fang gives a small nod as she sits up and walks onward to wherever they needed to go. It was a easy mistake traps like that were hard to avoid so she didn't hold anything on him. She looked around for anything she could find to heal his wound well not wound more like bruises but it was still bad.

Jak {3}

As both Jak and Fang moved forward one pokemon seemed to have come from the ground. A zigzagoon. Then another came from a nearby tree. A HootHoot.

"What..." Jak said somewhat directly at the two pokemon.
He forgot they must of been feral as one of them seemed to immediately attack.

The zigzagoon pinned Jak to the ground.
Jak Scratched at it furiously trying to get it off. Using a few scratches to the pokemon's face it leapt off.

The other pokemon HootHoot decided to follow the zigzagoons lead and the hoothoot used a confusion attack. After accidentally making eye contact with it. Jak became instantly confused.

"Crap... I can't see straight!!!" Jak shouted

Jak could not tell if the zigzagoon was down or if it was near.
Jak decided to attempt to stay still until he was no longer confused...

'As long as I don't move I should be able to not hurt myself from confusion... ' Jak thought however he eventually found himself on the ground with the world spinning.

Fang acted fast hitting the zigzagoon away at the hoothoot and as they both were sitting there slightly dazed she fired a large flamethrower right at them engulfing them both in it's flames knocking them both out, she smirks as she turned around to face Jak "we are safe for now" she said as she waited for him to see straight.

Jak

After a moment and hearing the zigzagoon and hoothoot screeches they burned from the intense flame that was being spewed from Fang.
It quickly silenced.

Jak assumed they have been knocked out.
Soon afterword he heard Fang state it is now safe.

Grumble "Sorry... This is not like me..." Jak stated.

He is feeling a bit worthless at the moment. He has not done much in either battles they had been in and has fallen into a pitfall trap... 

Slowly his vision returns to normal. "Lets get going... I am ok now."
Jak seemed to have escaped most injury during the battle. He was only confused briefly from the hoothoot. But that seemed to have faded quickly. Or at least to him it felt that way...

He did not really get too hurt from the zigzagoon.

'Man... What is wrong with me. I am normally not like this...' Jak thought.

"If I am just dragging you down. You can go ahead." Jak said feeling a bit down.

Jak sits down on the ground in front of him.

Fang nods and walks onward again after the two battles fang was still ready for more, she had endured more then this and was more then ready to face anything that came at them. It when he said that she looked at him like he was a complete and total dumbarse. "So life doesn't go your way and you choose to give up, pitiful and I was just starting to respect you" fang says as she starts to walk away.

"Give up?" Jak realized he either mixed up his words or they were misinterpreted. He was leaning towards himself phrasing it incorrectly...

shocked at hearing that.

'Crap... Now she thinks I am quitting. I am still going to get my supplies either way. How can I explain this the right way!' Jak mentally slapped himself.

Jak decided to just simply continue going on. 

"I am sorry about that. I simply meant that if you wanted to go on ahead without me you could. I simply thought I was slowing you down." Jak sighed...

"If your alright with it? I still want to continue." Jak asked as calmly as possible.

Jak was a bit shocked to hear those words...
