Flashes of Fire and Sparks of Lightning! Akuroma vs. Brian in the dark forest!

Akuroma stretched as he entered the dark woods of Shadowhue Forest, still trying to get used to his new form from evolving into Gallade. He enjoyed seeing Ned back in Pecha Forest, and meeting Arietta was quite nice, but perhaps some peace and quiet alone would do good for his training. He spent little time in his thoughts before he went to work, his fist erupting into electricity as he began to run forward.

Jumping up, the Gallade swung his first down onto a tree in front of him, smashing through to the other side. The tree creaked and groaned as it began to fall, interrupting the silence of the forest around him. Akuroma smirked to himself as he stared at his fist. One thing he was loving about his new form was how powerful it was compared to being a Kirlia. It would prove useful in his research and his thievery.

The Gallade smirked as the Chimchar tried to surround him with a Double Team-Fire Punch combination. "Ah, the stubborn ones always were annoying." Akuroma disappeared in a flash of light, reappearing up in the air, his fists erupting into electricity. Swinging his arms back, the Gallade plummeted back down towards the ground where the group of Chimchar were. "But they're also the most fun to beat!"

Brian had momentarily forgotten about the teleport ability that the Gallade had, which resulted in all of his clones just hitting each other, making the majority of them disappear. When he turned to see the Gallade coming back at him with another Thunderpunch, Brian knew that he might have a chance to hit him. Feeling confident about this, he and the remaining clones shot out another Ember at the Gallade. Since he wasn't using Thunderpunch already, he wouldn't be able to use Protect to block this, making the chance of the Ember working go up.

The Gallade took the brunt of the Ember attack, letting it hit him as he plummeted down towards the ground at the group of Chimchar. When he reached the ground, he slammed his fists down, thunder crackling out as the ground caved in under his fists. Sparks flew all over the place, arcing up into the air before hitting the nearest thing to reach the ground below.

Brian grinned in satisfaction as his Ember his the Gallade, however it wasn't enough to stop it from attacking. He was able to get out of the way, but the sparks sent out from the Thunderpunch took out the rest of his clones. This discouraged Brian a little bit, but now wasn't the time to show it. Instead, he dashed around and used more Ember attacks. His new strategy was to try and wear out the Gallade with his projectile attack and Double Team, then go in for the finish.

Akuroma smirked, beginning to teleport. He punched, kicked, and stomped on the clones as he reappeared, only to disappear a moment later. "Sure you don't wanna give up? It's pretty obvious that your little tricks won't last long, where as I can go on for a much longer while." Akuroma had to give it to the little monkey, he was definitely more fun than his usual opponents. Though his usual opponents were usually smarter or a lot weaker.

Brian smirked as he saw the Gallade continue to evade his moves. This sense of power it gave off only served to make this battle more intense for Brian. Despite being in a bad position, he was finally starting to enjoy himself again. "He he maybe tricks aren't working now, but you know what they say..." He said before another large mass of clones appear in the air, much larger then the last time he used Double Team. "...the more the merrier!" Brian said as all of his clones spun around and used Ember, sending a rain of flames that covered the battle area.

Akuroma frowned, "They also say three's a crowd, so how about we just keep it to us two?" His arms gained a greenish glow before he swung them forward, sending out waves of psychic energy that sliced through the clones and into the trees past them. The Gallade then stood there, the psychic energy disappearing as electricity reformed on his fists. "You know, it's interesting that we use Fire Punch and Thunder Punch. Fire and electricity are both plasmas, a state of matter where air becomes so hot that it glows. There's one difference though, my electricity burns hotter. I doubt even a fire type could handle the heat, especially one as weak as you, little monkey."

Just when he thought this move might work out, the Gallade easily dispatched all of his Double Team clones in one feel swipe, thanks to those energy waves it sent out. "All of them are gone...hehe, this sure is a pinch..." Brian said, realizing that in his position, he was very vulnerable to the Gallade's attacks. Add that with being a little low on power from using so many moves, and it didn't look too good for him. However, Brian wasn't going to simply quit. "Your move may be hot, but nothing is hotter then my flames, both the flame on my fist..." He said as his fist ignited once again. "...and the flames in my heart telling me to fight on!" Brian said as he dived down towards the Gallede with his Fire Punch.

Akuroma rolled his eyes, "What? Are we in a play and I just can't see the audience?" the Gallade said. As the Chimchar came at him with its own Fire Punch, Akuroma raised his electrified fists, reading himself for another head on attack. He wanted to take out the Chimchar in the next few moments. Knowing how fast information moved in the area around Grassveil, word would spread about the oddly colored Gallade stealing and beating Pokemon.

The Chimchar didn't pay attention to the Gallade mocking his words. They probably sounded generic or like he was saying them off of a script, but that didn't matter to Brian. He'd heard these kinds of things all the time from different fighters in his village, and grew up thinking those sayings were incredibly cool. However, this wasn't the time for a trip down memory lane, it was time for action. Brian continued this as he descended towards the Gallade, lunging his fist to clash with the Thunderpunch.

Akuroma threw his fist at the Chimchar, thunder ringing out as their fists collided once again. The Gallade smirked once again, though this time instead of simply overpowering the Chimchar's Fire Punch with his own Thunder Punch, Akuroma swung his other fist at the Chimchar's gut. Whether or not the Chimchar was a good fighter or knew good fighters meant nothing right now, as the Gallade decided he would end this pointless fight.

Brian's Fire Punch and the Gallade's Thunderpunch collided once again, with the resulting collision sending out sparks and flames similarly to last time. Also like the last time, the Thunderpunch was overpowering his Fire Punch, but due to the momentum from his descent, Brian had a little more power behind him so he wasn't automatically sent flying. However, he wasn't ready for the Gallade to punch him with his other fist. That hit took away his focus, causing his Fire Punch to lose a bit of power. Now the Thunderpunch was able to overpower him, and Brian couldn't stop it anymore...

Akuroma smirked, grabbing the Chimchar's arm with his Thunder Punch before slamming his other fist into the Chimchar's face. He then threw the smaller Pokemon away. "Your pride and guts are leagues ahead of what you can take on, kid. If you ever hope to beat me, I'd suggest you get stronger fast, before I become too powerful to ever defeat." With that, the Gallade began to walk away, the shadows of the forest beginning to envelop him as he headed deeper into them.

After the series of punches and throws, Brian found himself flying towards the ground in pain. He slammed against the dirt, having been defeated by the Gallade.The flame on his tail shrunk a little bit as his energy had run out after the battle. However, he managed to stand up despite the pain. "Hehe, don't worry about that...getting stronger is what I'm always doing. But...before you go...tell me your name. I want to know...the names of everyone I face." Brian said, his face holding a small smirk.

Akuroma turned his head back, his eye glowing slightly in the darkness. He smirked, his arm gaining a green glow. "Akuroma, the strongest outlaw you'll ever meet. Now, sleep," the Gallade said before swinging his arm at the Chichar, a wave of psychic energy slicing through the air. The Gallade turned away, pulling his hood up as he disappeared into the darkness of the dungeon.
