Flashes of Fire and Sparks of Lightning! Akuroma vs. Brian in the dark forest!

Akuroma stretched as he entered the dark woods of Shadowhue Forest, still trying to get used to his new form from evolving into Gallade. He enjoyed seeing Ned back in Pecha Forest, and meeting Arietta was quite nice, but perhaps some peace and quiet alone would do good for his training. He spent little time in his thoughts before he went to work, his fist erupting into electricity as he began to run forward.

Jumping up, the Gallade swung his first down onto a tree in front of him, smashing through to the other side. The tree creaked and groaned as it began to fall, interrupting the silence of the forest around him. Akuroma smirked to himself as he stared at his fist. One thing he was loving about his new form was how powerful it was compared to being a Kirlia. It would prove useful in his research and his thievery.

"Yeah, I do. It just feels to cool when..." He said, unable to finish his sentence before the Gallade suddenly disappeared. Having no idea what had happened, Brian ended up looking around the area confused about what just happened. Before he had a chance to react, the Gallade had reappeared and taken his bag, then proceeding to run off into the forest. "What the, my bag! All my stuff is in there! Get back here!" Brian said before leaping onto the branches himself to chase after the Gallede.

"Heh, sorry kid, but I'm not one to give things back," the Gallade said, swinging his arm back, a wave of psychic energy cutting through the branches behind him. The Gallade smirked, turning his head back forward only to run right into an Ariados' web. Running at full speed caused the Gallade and webbing to fall out of the trees, rolling around until Akuroma's swords extended, slicing up the webbing before he rolled back onto his feet, continuing his escape. The Ariados, however, wasn't looking to lose the one who destroyed its home, joining in on the chase.

"Then I'll just it back then. I want my stuff to stay being my stuff!" Brian said as he continued chasing after the Gallade. Since coming to Grassveil and exploring all of the areas around it like Shadowhue, things had been going fairly smooth. There were some tough battling moments, but nothing that annoyed or discouraged Brian. This moment on the other hand was something that actually angered Brian, which was very rare for him. Usually anything bad that happened could be overlooked because of something else, but not getting all of his hard earned items stolen. This anger only pushed him on more to get the Gallade and take his stuff back.

Soon, a sort of energy wave came towards Brian, cutting through the branches he intended to jump on. While he was able to dodge it fairly easily, he now lost his best method of fast travel, so he had to just run normally. However, the Gallade soon fell out of the tree as well due to some kind of web, which apparently belonged to a spider like Pokemon as one started chasing after him as well. Brian decided not to bother it, since it may help him slow down the Gallade, and decided to continue running while staying out of the spider's way.

Akuroma frowned as he found the Ariados and Chimchar both chasing him, Well, this didn't go quite as planned, guess it's time to improvise. The Gallade reached into the Chimchar's bag and rummaged around. Finding two blast seeds, the Gallade smirked. He turned, skidding to a halt before tossing the two seeds at the Pokemon, the one aimed at the Ariados hitting it right in the face and exploding. Akuroma, however, didn't wait to watch, getting back to running from the two Pokemon after him.

As he continued running near the spider, Brian saw the Gallade suddenly stop in his tracks. He wasn't sure why he did this at first, but it became clear once he saw the Pokemon take out his blast seeds. One of them hit the spider Pokemon, causing and explosion that sent it falling back as a result. The other was aimed right at him, but with a quick sidestep, was easily dodged. "Ahh, now those are wasted. I liked those seeds..." He said, now even more annoyed at the Gallade. First it stole his items and now it was wasting them. This served to only tick Brian off more as he continued running towards his target, completely determined to get back his stuff.

The Gallade continued to run, peering back to see the Chimchar as his only opponent. "Tch, persistent," Akuroma mumbled to himself. The Gallade then jumped up, teleporting mid jump up onto the branches of the trees again, rummaging through the Chimchar's bag again to find something of use. He didn't find much, and simply transferred some of the items to his own bag. With that done, the Gallade threw the bag back. "Thanks for the goodies, little monkey. Be sure to find more for me later!" he yelled back as he pulled out an orb, tossing it on the ground after the bag. The orb shattered and a bright light filled the area. When the light faded, several Pokemon appeared around the Chimchar's bag. "Here's some friends for you to play with, see ya!" Akuroma yelled out, teleporting once again.

Just when it seemed that Brian was gonna catch up the the Gallade, he suddenly disappeared again like when he stole Brian's bag. "He's gone again...now where did he go?" Brian said while continuing to run in hopes of finding the Gallade again. He didn't have to wait too long though, as his bag got thrown onto the ground by the Gallade, looking much smaller now.

"Get your own items you thief!" Brian said, about to send out an Ember out of rage. Before he got the chance to do so however, the Gallade tossed an orb onto the ground which caused a sudden bright flash, momentarily blinding Brian. When he opened his eyes once again, a large group of Pokemon appeared greeted his vision, surrounding his bag. "Where did they come from? That orb....it must have done something..." He said before seeing the group charge towards him. "I don't have time to deal with all of these guys....wait, that should work!" Brian said before using Double Team, creating several clones of himself to distract the Pokemon. While they were focused on his clones, Brian grabbed his bag and jumped into the trees again, hoping to find out wherever the Gallade went.

Akuroma leaned up against the trunk of a tree, looking through the items he had taken from the Chimchar. It certainly wasn't all that much, but it was better than nothing, and the boxes could end up holding rare items. The Gallade sighed, at best this was a grab bag and he'd have to hope that Izumi would find rare items inside. That is if he could get into the guild and have the boxes opened before word about him spread too far. No doubt the Chimchar would notify them whether or not he found Akuroma. Akuroma sighed again, placing the items in his bag before standing up. "No point in staying here, either way, better get to the guild before crap hits the fan," the Gallade said to himself. Stepping off the branch he was on, Akuroma fell down to the earth below before he began to walk down the path, believing himself in the clear for the time being.

After jumping through some more trees for a while, Brian found himself in a tree where he could see the Gallade. It was looking through the stuff he had stolen from him, and the most valuable of those stolen items was his Unusual Box. Brian had planned to get that box checked out after his little travel in the forest, knowing that it might contain some really rare or unique items.

"Okay, he's not gonna take that box away from me." Brian thought to himself before his fist ignited into flames as he prepared a Fire Punch. He then leaped off of the tree branch and lunged towards the Gallade, hoping to catch it off guard so he could claim his box.

Akuroma raised his eye as he heard something jump out of the branches behind him. Turning around, his own fist exploded into electricity, his Thunder Punch meeting the Chimchar's Fire Punch. The force of the two moves at first appeared to have been equal, though the Gallade smirked, the electricity from his fist surging forward as he pushed forward against the Chimchar's attack.

Brian had been a bit too confident that he would be undetected and was now in a head on collision with the Gallade's Thunderpunch. With the two moves colliding, sparks and embers shot out from their fists, dissipating before being able to do too much. Brian thought that he might have been on par with the Gallade's strength, but that belief was proven false once he started getting overpowered by the Thunderpunch. Eventually, the force from the move sent him flying back, his back hitting the ground. "Ugh, should've known it wouldn't be that easy..."

Akuroma smirked, popping his knuckles as he stood there, "Alright, kid, if you're that eager to get beaten, I'll grant your wish." The Gallade then launched himself at the Chimchar, disappearing as he teleported. Akuroma reappeared behind the Chimchar, swinging his foot to kick the smaller Pokemon. With how weak this Pokemon's attack felt compared to his own, the Gallade knew that it wouldn't take too many attacks to take it down.

"Not gonna be the one getting beaten here..." He said, knowing that his statement might not hold much truth soon. After all, this Gallade was able to take out a bunch of strong wild Pokemon earlier and was easily able to overpower Brian's best move. Still, he wasn't going to simply give up. So he prepared himself for battle and was ready to defend against whatever move was used....except he didn't expect the Gallade to teleport and kick him in the back, sending him flying forward. While the move did do some serious damage, Brian wasn't ready to concede, turning around as he was flying back and using Ember. A flurry of flames were sent towards the Gallade, hopefully able to do something to it, maybe burn if he was lucky.

Akuroma held up his hand, a green shield of light appearing to block the Ember, "No move you know can penetrate my protect, and no move you know can stop my Thunder Punch. You can give up and run away now, if you want. I've gotten what I want from you so I've no need to harm you unless you persist in trying to stop me." The Gallade began to walk up to the Chimchar, his fists sparking out into electricity, the sound of thunder bellowing out from them. "I'll give you to the count of three to run."

Brian thought that he might have landed a move on the Gallade with his Ember, but in response it used Protect to block the move. Once he got back onto the ground, he tried to catch his breath. The kick was much stronger then he had expected, and now things weren't looking so good. However, this kind of situation is what got Brian excited. "Hehe, give up? I don't think you know who you're talking too. I don't give up, I fight on until I can't fight anymore!" He said before using his Double Team to make a bunch of clones to hopefully confuse his opponent. To up the ante, all of the Brian's fists ignited as they charged towards the Gallade, aiming to hit him with at least one Fire Punch.
