A Peaceful Forest. Akuroma Meets an Old Friend of Avaria's?

Akuroma shuffled through Pecha Forest silently. Just an hour ago he was at the Dojo training, yet he was already going to train the new move he learned, Thunder Punch. Thankfully the rain had stopped a few minutes after he left the dojo. As he made his way into the forest he pulled out an Oran berry and ate it. He had forgotten to eat after training, so the berry would have to make due. The forest sounded like it was still raining with all the water that was previously trapped by the trees now falling freely.

Akuroma laid at the bottom of the pit, sighing out to himself. It was bad enough he just got out of the pit, but now his head hurt from the punch. As he began to stand up, he saw the Ledyba fly across the hole, being pushed by an Extrasensory attack. Oh how he wished he still know Confusion so he could just lift himself out of there. Giving another sigh, he began to climb the hole again.

The Ledyba, stunned by the sudden attack from behind, was unable to respond immediately. However, the Aipom, who had seen the attack, responded by jumping at Vesper with a scratch attack readied.

The Ledyba, having taken a direct hit from a powerful psychic type move, would probably be down for at least a short while. Vesper would have turned her attention to the Ralts but the amount of Pokemon in the area meant it was not safe to do so. Turning around, she was caught by the Aipom's Scratch attack though quickly retaliated with an Absorb that was unlikely to miss due to how close the other Pokemon was. Vesper attempted to wrap the green tendrils around the Aipom to sap at it's energy before using them to lift the creature and throw him a clear distance away.

Luckily Akuroma already knew where to grab to climb out of the hole, so he was out sooner than before. He saw that Vesper and the Aipom where attacking each other with an Absorb and a Scratch, respectively. He was about to help when a sudden blast of hot air came down upon him. It seemed the Murkrow had decided to join in the fight.

As the shiny Murkrow kept Akuroma at bay with a Heat wave attack, the normal one swooped downward, aiming at Vesper with a Peck attack. The Aipom yipped as it's energy was being sucked away, now trying to quickly escape the Roselia's hold by using Agility.

Vesper held onto the Aipom as it tried to escape, the green tendrils preventing it from getting far despite it's increased speed upon using Agility. The Roselia wished she had the Blast Seed that Akuroma had found to throw at the Long Tail Pokemon, but as that was currently impossible she instead opted for the second best option and continued to sap at the Aipom's energy. She found herself digging her small pointed feet into the ground to keep hold of the Aipom as it continued to try and struggle it's way out of her grasp. She was so focused on trying to keep hold of the Aipom that she didn't realise that the Murkrow was approaching until it was too late, dealing a powerful Peck attack to the Roselia who then lost her grip on the Aipom and found herself scrambling to avoid the Murkrow as it tried to do the same thing a second time.

Akuroma groaned out a bit as the Heat Wave continued to beat down on him. His arm began to glow a mint green. The glow then spread out, creating a protective force field attached to the Ralts' arm. Using this, Akuroma ran out of the Heat Wave towards Vesper and the other Murkrow. He jumped between the two, the Protect disappearing as he focused on creating the electricity for a Thunder Punch. As the Murkrow neared, it's own momentum too great to allow it to properly turn without crashing, Akuroma's arm erupted into mine green electricity. He swung his fist down just as the Murkrow's beak flew under it, smashing the bird into the ground and pushing himself up off of the ground. He flipped and landed on his back while the Murkrow skidded across the ground.

With the Murkrow now out of action, at least temporarily, Vesper once again summoned a small glowing orb of golden psychic energy in front of the roses that tipped her arms, hopping backwards a few steps lest the Murkrow recover quicker than expected.
"I should probably say thank you," she commented, glancing back over to Akuroma and acknowledging the fact that he'd helped her avoid quite a game changing hit, "Though I can't really be entirely grateful when it's technically your fault i'm in this mess in the first place," she finished with another of her mischievous grins. Though she tried not to show it, the first Peck had done quite a bit of damage in itself. She should probably have just upped and left the Ralts when the mob of Pokemon had stopped attacking her. Alas she'd made the stupid decision to stick around and was now paying the price for it.

"Excuses, excuses," Akuroma said as he stood up, dusting off his gown, "You could've left once they stopped attacking you, instead you decided to defend me." He looked over at the Murkrow, who was probably seeing Staryu right about now, before checked the other enemies. The Ledyba seemed to have recovered and was beginning to take flight. The Aipom, though seeming to be exhausted from the Absorb attack, was standing and ready to fight. The last Murkrow circled above, now cautious about getting near the two Pokemon after seeing it's ally stuck down by a Thunder Punch.

"If you can finish off the Aipom, I'll be able to keep the Ledyba off of you. Then we'll have to worry about the Murkrow above us. It knows Heat Wave, which is bad for you, and I'm sure it knows plenty of other powerful moves that'll be a problem," he said, his arm glowing in mint green psychic energy as he prepared to fire a Psyshock at the Ledyba.

Vesper merely shrugged. The Ralts was right after all, but she didn't seem to care as she'd already come to that conclusion herself. Right now she was more interested in getting out of the situation she'd gotten herself in.

The Roselia nodded to Akuroma's 'plan', taking note that the Murkrow knew Heat Wave and making sure to keep an eye on it as she spotted the Aipom. With the energy she'd focused beforehand, she fired another beam of psychic energy, golden in hue, towards the Long Tail pokemon.

As the Ledyba began to launch itself towards Akuroma with a Comet Punch, he swung his arm down, sending the wave of psychic energy at it. The Ledyba dodged it, but not without stopping it's own attack. Akuroma didn't let up, he charged up and released another Psyshock, though it only grazed the Ledyba's side.

The Aipom wasn't so lucky. Exhausted from the Absorb, it wasn't able to move quick enough to dodge the Extrasensory and was thrown back. It shakily stood back up, still trying to fight. In a last ditch effort, it began to use Dig.

Quickly running after the Aipom, Vesper watched as it franticly dug beneath the forest floor, attempting to get the upper hand by hiding and coming back from another direction - or at least so she assumed. The Roselia hopped over to the hole, the golden orb once again charging in front of her flowered hands.  As she reached the hole, she shot the colourful, but primarily golden beam into the hollowed out area, hoping to strike the Aipom as he dug through. As she did this she took a second to glance over at Akuroma to see how he was doing with the Ledyba. So far neither of them had had any trouble with the Murkrow still hovering above, but that could easily change any second.

A screech from inside the hole proved Vesper hit her mark. Though there was no telling if the Aipom was defeated or not, it was definitely hit. The Mukrow above decided to was time to intervene and began to divebomb at Vesper. The Murkrow soon had a blue light trailing behind it as it used Brave Bird, prepare to take the Roselia out in one hit. Akuroma, noticing this, switched his tactic against the Ledyba.

Instead of trying to keep the bug type back, Akuroma let it get in close. Doing his best to avoid the attacks, which sometimes ended with a punch in the gut or face, Akuroma waited for the right moment. Reaching out, Akuroma grabbed a hold of one of the Ledyba's hands and teleported it and himself right in front of the Murkrow. Using the Ledyba as a shield, Akuroma held it in front of him as the Murkrow slammed into the Ledyba's back, pushing the three Pokemon in Vesper's direction.

Vesper turned to see the Murkrow speeding towards her. However, before she could react Akuroma and the Ledyba teleported in front of her, the Ralts using the buy type as a sort of shield to protect from the Murkrow's powerful attack. Seeing the Murkrow push the other two towards her, Vesper use Absorb. Using the same technique as before, the Roselia rooted herself to the ground with the green tendrils produced from Absorb, however she did this with one hand, whilst using the other to make an almost net barrier with the green tendrils, focusing on bringing the three to a halt. The move was not at all focused on sapping energy from the other pokemon as it was used.

Akuroma groaned when his back hit the net of green tendrils, the Ledyba being pushed into him from the force of the Bravebird. Akuroma raised his free hand, green sparks of electricity beginning to form on it. With a sideways swing, Akuroma brought his Thunder Punch around the Ledyba and onto the Murkrow's cheek, shoving it off of the three Pokemon and over into the ground.

The combined recoil from the Bravebird and the damage from Akuroma's Thunder Punch was enough to take down the Murkrow, and the Ledyba slumped onto the ground from the Murkrow's attack. Akuroma stood there panting, the electricity disappearing from his arm. He looked behind him to Vesper.

"Well, huff, that was fun," he said.

"Not really," replied Vesper with a shrug, "Though I don't think sticking around here is gonna do us any good after all that we should probably head somewhere else," the Roselia suggested, retracting the net of green tendrils and detaching herself from the ground so that she could wander around, as if trying to select a direction to head in. Seemingly deciding on one, Vesper headed off. She didn't seem to particularly care whether the Ralts followed or not as she didn't appear to look back to check if he even was following.

Akuroma scratched the back of his head, "Well at least you're not as hostile as Avaria or Mirage," he said. As Akuroma began to walk after Vesper he checked his bag and cloak to be sure they weren't damaged. After assuring the two were undamaged, he sped up to catch up to the Roselia, pulling his cloak up so only the several glowing red slits of his eyes peering through his hair and the horns sticking the the cloak's holes showed.

"So, your parents would call you a thief yet you believe the label isn't truly correct? What have you used to justify stealing?" he asked as he walked beside the Roselia. He had become curious of outlaws. The ones he's met so far have all been much more interesting than the explorers, shopkeepers, and other Pokemon he's encountered.
