| Enzu watched in confusion as Akuroma placed down the torch and walked into the darkness. He was even more shocked after hearing what Akuroma said whilst inside the shroud of darkness. "Um... you know there was no way of knowing that it was the same Noibat," he said as he began to walk behind Akuroma. Enzu had been trying to come up with something to discuss while they were walking, and the topic of the Noibat was as good as any he figured. But he would continue to think of more conversation topics while they walked. |

| "It came from the direction that we ran across the first on, and from what I've read about Serene Cave, there are no turns until about a mile in. We're only about two hundred feet in. Also, I can tell Pokemon apart with my horns. Everyone experiences things differently, and thus their emotions are always different. I may not be able to sense it as well as my evolved forms could, but I can tell the subtle difference between two Pokemon's emotions," he said. Akuroma knew Enzu was just trying to come up with something to talk about, but Akuroma's ears were still somewhat ringing from the Screech attacks. | |

| "Oh, alrighty," Enzu said. HE could tell that Akuroma was still recovering from the Noibat's screech. Even though the attack caused no physical damage, he himself had to admit that it was in fact annoying. And when Akuroma mentioned his evolved forms, it got Enzu's mind on the idea of evolving, he knew that it was difficult for pokemmon of his species to evolve, and it took a long time, but he wasn't so sure about the evolutionary traits of other pokemon. "Speaking of evolution, how close do you think you are to evolving?" he asked. |

| Akuroma was silent for a bit, "I'll probably evolve before we head out to Black Mist. With the experience I'll gain from this journey and the experience I'll gain while gathering berries, I suggest you not be surprised to see a Kirlia waiting for you instead of a Ralts," he said. Akuroma wasn't truly opposed to evolving. Despite the girlish figure, being a Kirlia was definitely better than being a Ralts. Better movement, enhanced abilities, and pretty much becoming more powerful all over was something the Ralts looked forward to. He had never experienced evolution, and was greatly interested in how it worked. | |

| "Oh wow okay," Enzu said, "I'm glad to hear that you'll be evolving. Maybe with the extra power it can make our climb up Black Mist Mountain much easier." As they walked Enzu decided to try and make a joke to continue the conversation, "And what makes you think that I will find you waiting for me?" he asked. |

| "Cause you're always late. Always getting distracted. Heh, I swore I heard you mumbling about going shopping when I was training with Keyami," he said, a smirk growing across his face as he glanced back at Enzu. In truth, Enzu wasn't always that late, and Akuroma didn't mind it that much either. However, just letting him simply continue the habit might turn out to be detrimental. | |

| Enzu was kind of insulted at the joke that Akuroma made, he knew that he was joking but it still felt kind of insulting. "Please, I used to be a lot more serious back then," Enzu said, "I changed a lot after my year of traveling." Enzu then thought about his journey and all of the things that Enzu had experienced during his travels. "And anyway, how do you remember things I might have said back then? It was over a year ago." he said. |

| "It's not that hard for a Psychic type. Most of us have great memory and learning abilities. The Abra line is, of course, the most powerful in that way," he said, "Besides, it's hard to forget anything with Keyami involved," he said as he continued walking. He stopped for a second and looked around.
"Ok, there should be three tunnels up ahead. We need to take the left one, alright? The Right one is only a maze with lots of dead ends and eventually loops around to the middle one," he said. Though they probably still had a few more minutes of walking before they reached the three tunnels, he decided he should tell Enzu in case the Pawniard didn't do any research on the cave as Akuroma did.

| "Okay," Enzu said as Akuroma explained the path that they would need to take in order to make it out of the cave safely. Enzu then thought about how Akuroma mentioned the Abra line, and Enzu began to think about his grandfather who was an Alakazam. He thought about all of the mental training that his grandfather put him through, which allowed Enzu to use his Inner Focus ability more fully. Enzu continued to let his thoughts wander as he and Akuroma came closer to the splitting tunnels. - Guest carried out 1 launched of one Serene Cave :

| As they approached the caves, Akuroma's horn twitched, "Incoming from below," he said, jumping back from where he was standing. The ground below him soon lurched up as a Diglett popped out. Akuroma spent no time, using confusion on the ground around the Ground type to crush it.

| As soon as Akuorma said that there was a pokemon coming from below he jumped away and quickly charged up a Psycho Cut to launch at the pokemon. Normally it would take awhile for Enzu to charge up a proper Psycho Cut attack, but with all of his training on the move it was becoming easier for him to charge it more quickly.
As the Diglett popped up from the ground Enzu saw the ground around it begin to glow blue from Akuroma's confusion attack. Enzu then launched the Psycho Cut at the Diglett hoping that the pokemon wouldn't dig back into the ground before the attack could land. |

| Akuroma was able to stop the Diglett from going underground by holding it still. This allowed for the Psycho Cut to slam into the Diglett creating a small dust cloud. When the dust settled, the Diglett was knocked out. 'Well that was disappointing,' Akuroma thought before beginning to move on. | |

| ((Enzu's Energy: 5))
Enzu was shocked that the diglett was defeated so easily. The Noibat that they fought before was more of a challenge, they even had to battle it twice. But Enzu was kind of glad that the battle ended so quickly, he preferred to avoid confrontation. Since the Diglett was defeated so easily Enzu followed Akuroma so that they were not around when the diglett would re-awaken, or in case it had any friends. |

| After another minute of walking, the two Pokemon reached the three caves. Akuroma immediately began heading into the left one, as he had told the Pawniard before. As they entered the cave, Akuroma held his torch out a bit, the end of the cave almost immediately making a turn.
"There'll be a lot of twists, turns, and detours here. We have to stay close and make sure we don't have any too violent battles or we could end up blocking our path to the outside world. However, it'll be turning night outside soon, do you want to set up camp?" the Ralts asked, turning to Enzu.

| As they turned left and began to head into the tunnel, Enzu thought about Akuroma's offer to rest for what they were pretty sure was the night. After some thought Enzu said, "No lets keep walking for a little longer. Let's try to cover as much ground as possible, once we're both too tired to walk we can begin to rest." |
