| It had taken him all day, but he finally made it. Rai was relieved to arrive in Grassveil. He was still somewhat bruised from his fight with Ashen, but he put that beside him. This is a really nice looking town. A lot better than where I came from, Rai thought to himself. He strolled though the town, admiring all of the various businesses and establishments.
Though, he knew he had more important things to do than just look around. His real objective was to become an explorer at the guild. Rai gazed passionately in the direction of the guild. His dreams might finally be fufilled today! By joining the guild, he could accomish his goal of defeating the evils of the world. He shouted excitedly, "I'm going to change the world, starting today!" Rai didn't care who heard him; all that mattered was that he could finally fufill his dreams.

| The young Deerling had been working an early morning shift, helping out customers and sweeping the floors, solving complaints and even trying to argue with a haggling scrafty. It was a rough day for Yera but luckily she had managed to get through it unscathed. She happily hopped home the thought of a good lunch filling her mind, she still had apples left over from the other day, and after a good lunch she might go for another nice stroll through the town. She might even consider taking another part time job, even though she liked free time, more work meant more money and more money meant more food and maybe even a house of her own. The room she was renting was small, and floor always squeaked, she hated that noise.
The brown colored Deerling continued her Journey through Grassveil town, on her way home passing a lot of stands and Pokemon, today was quite the noisy and busy day, but Yera was done working and could spend it how ever she wished. The little Deerling smiled a little as she happily hopped forward, wondering what the rest of her day would bring her. |

| Rai began to rush inside the guild to apply, but he stopped himself right before he entered. He had remembered something; if he wanted to create a team, he would likely need more members than just himself. Rai became slightly discouraged at the thought, and turned back. As the Zubat slowly flew back through the town, he only then began to notice how bustling the town was. He must have been too excited to pay much attention to anything else when he was going to the guild.
Even though Rai couldn't join the guild just yet, that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy his time in Grassveil. He examined the various buildings. The townsfolk must leave peaceful lives here. It actually feels like it's a bit boring around here... While Rai was lost in thought, he wasn't looking where he was going, and ended up bumping into somebody. He fell to the ground, and said, "Oh! Sorry for that, I wasn't looking where I was going... are you okay?" He looked up to see who he had just bumped into, but it turned out he had just flew right into the side of a building. Rai sighed, and continued to mope through the town. The bat Pokemon felt as if not much was going as he hoped it would today.

| When Yera continued her rather happy hop through Grassveil her attention was caught by a bang in the street to the left, wondering what had caused this she rushed over. Most of the town seemed to not even be bothered by it, but when she arrived at the scene she saw a rather small flying Pokemon getting back up and making it's way to where Yera was. She looked at it and decided to move back a bit in case it would knock in to her as it seemed rather dizzy.
Yera decided to but in and ask how the Pokemon was doing, maybe he wasn't feeling all too well and she couldn't leave him alone. " Uhm I don't mean to bother you, but I wonder if you are okay, it seems like you made a rather big hit against that wall". Yera sounded quite worried which was partially the situation and partially the fact that she wasn't all too good with social stuff. |

| Rai was dazed after hitting his small head on the building. It took him a second to regain his balance. When he started to leave, a voice filled with worry behind him asked if he was okay. He turned and noticed that there was, in fact, a Pokemon behind him. He brushed himself off , and started to say, "No, I'm fine. Just wasn't paying attention to where I was going."
Rai glanced around a little bit, not really sure what to do next. He got up to leave, before he realized that maybe the Pokemon with him could help him out. "Say, uhh... Are you busy or anything? If not, then I wouldn't mind talking for a bit. You seem like a good person." Rai was less interested in talking to the Pokemon than he was seeing if she wanted to form an exploration team with her. Sure, they didn't know each other at all really, but he wasn't thinking as straight as normal, after hitting his head on a wall.

| The small Pokemon in front of her was acting rather weird, but Yera couldn't tell that this was due to the head on colission with a wall or for the Pokemons personality, She smiled a bit awkwardly as she heard the bat was okay but just had not been paying attention. '' I am glad your okay, walls can be evil'' Yera told the Zubat, wondering if she was making it feel any better.
Then the Pokemon continued and asked her if she was busy, and if she minded talking for a bit. She kind of wanted to say she was busy as apples were waiting for her, but having to eat apples and busy were two different things. She shook her head '' No I am not, I just got out of work, can I help you with anything?'' Yera asked rather politely, wondering what was going on. If she could help she would of course do so, this Pokemon seemed to be a bit confused so she would be afraid to let it roam along. The city was quite big, and there were many walls, and if one could fly in to one wall they could fly in to another, so Yera decided to stick around the Pokemon for at least a short while. |

| Wow! I didn't think she would actually talk to me! he thought to himself. Rai was about to say something, before he realized that he couldn't think of anything to talk about. He didn't want to ask her to form a team right off the bat. In an attempt to not create a long, awkward silence, he sheepishly asked, So, uhhh... you from around here? I know I'm not." Rai was trying to see what kind of personality this Pokemon had, before he asked any big questions. | |

| When the bat took a little time to answer Yera wondered if he was shy like her, or just had a hard time making conversations also like her. She gave the Pokemon all the time he needed to answer, and eventually he asked her if she was from around here, she took a deep breathe and nodded '' I have been living here for almost a year now, I am a part time worker at a shop, where are you from?'' The Deerling answered the question and even asked a new one, this was a lot for Yera as she normally would just answer questions and get out of there as soon as she could, but sometimes she had to get over her boundaries and become better at formalities.
Yera smiled a little as she looked at the Pokemon hovering in front of her, how cool would it be if she could fly she knew she could jump higher than most Pokemon, but flying was something else it would be amazing. Shaking her head once again she then decided it was a good time to introduce herself, '' My name is Yera, it is nice to meet you'' she said in a rather soft tone. She wondered how the Pokemon in front of her was called, where he came from and what he was doing here, but she would only ask one question at a time, she should not scare off people. |

| The Deerling Rai spoke to seemed to be a very nice person. She was concered of his physical condition, and she sounded really friendly, even though he was just a stranger. In response to her question, Rai said "No, I'm not from here. Where I come from is about a day's trip away." Rai reminisced about the past day he spent getting to Grassveil. It was pretty boring, and there wasn't much to see.
When he finished talking about where he was from, the Deerling introduced herself as Yera. "Well, glad to meet you, Yera. My name's Rai. I came to Grassveil to apply for the guild. But, uhh... I don't have anybody to help me." Rai thought that it might be sudden to ask her to join him, as he didn't even know if she could put up a fight. He figured it probably be best to wait a little longer, but too much waiting could mean it would be too late to ask her.

| The pokemon Yera had met turned out to be named Rei and he apparently had flown around for a day to reach Grassveil town, where he could then apply to the guild. Yera also overheard that he had no one to apply with, she'd help him out but she wasn't really someone to join a team, she was perfectly happy just being a shopkeepers assistant. Yera looked at the Pokemon in front of her and if it had traveled for a day it might be tired.
The Deerling decided it was good to be hospitable, " hey Rei, if you want, you can come to my room I am hiring so you can rest a little, and I even have apples" She hoped not to scare off the Pokemon, and just wanted to be able to help him out a little. |

| Yera's offering was rather surprising to Rai, for they had only just met each other. He didn't want to sound too demanding of her, but he felt like he could some rest after the past day's events. "Well then, Yera, if I don't get in your way, I guess I wouldn't mind staying at your place for a while. I mean, if it's all right with you." Rai was pretty tired, after travelling for a day, fighting with Ashen, and flying into a building. | |

| ((ooc: appologys for the late post, health issues)
Yera was rather shy about inviting someone into her room, but this Pokemon looked tired and was in need of help. She wasn't going to be able to join the team he was going to form, so at least she could give him some aid in the form of refreshments and some time to relax. The young Deerling stretched out and then used her ears to point in the direction where they were needed to go to reach her home. " Don't worry about it, I want to help people out, but as I am not a great fighter I guess I could offer you some time to relax and have some apples" the young deerling had answered as she started leading the way towards her apartment. |

| (OOC: I hope you get/have gotten better.)
"Well thank you, Yera. I hope I don't end up inconveniencing you." Rai flew off into the direction Yera had pointed to, excited about the promises of food and rest. It felt like forever since he had been given the gift of those two graces. At first, he went fast, but quickly came to a halt, realizing he had left Yera behind, and that he should probably wait for her to get to her own house. Rai felt he must have been a bit overexcited. Trying to be polite, he faced the Deerling and muttered, "...s-sorry about that. You coming?"

| The zubat was rather over enthusiastic, or just more excited than Yera was, he either was very hungry or just very outgoing neither which Yera minded. As the Pokemon flew ahead of her just as he had been given directions, Yera smiled a little and increased her pace to catch up to the Zubat in front of her. She thought she was a rather fast Deerling, but seeing Rai fly that fast made her feel like she wasn't such a good runner after all.
When Rai started waiting for Yera it took only a few seconds for her to catch up, the Zubat immediately apologized but Yera smiled. In her usual kind voice she said '' Dont worry, I like seeing enthusiastic Pokemon, it is a great change of pace''. After this Yera smiled and had a great idea, '' Hey what about a race!'' As she happily started accelerating towards her house, she might have had an unfair advantage knowing where they were going, but against speed monster rai she needed it. The young Deerling sometimes couldn't resist being childlike, it felt good to just do what she felt like. |

| A race? That sounded like an interesting challenge. Rai had never been in a race before. And Yera seemed pretty fast, too. He didn't know if he could win against her or not, but he wasn't going to turn down any challenges. "Racing? I've never done that before... but it sounds exciting! I'm ready when you are," he said in excitement, as he prepared himself to race. Rai could barely contain his excitement. Sure, it wasn't going to be a fight, but a race would be fun anyway.
Past all of his excitement, Rai was a little uneasy. What if he didn't win? It's not like that would matter, though. He just wanted to have fun. Or, what if he ran into another wall? The thought made him chuckle. "This is gonna be fun. I hope you're ready!" He was determined to own this race.
