Climbing the Hill! The Ralts and the Pawniard training for Black Mist Mountain!?

Akuroma hefted up his bag as he waited at the entrance of Pricklemist Hill. After getting back to Grassveil and healing up, the two Pokemon decided to go to Pricklemist Hill. However, unlike their attempt at Black Mist Mountain, they decided to prepare. It was nearly two weeks before they decided they were prepared and began their journey.

However, they got separated along the way, but planned to meet up at Pricklemist Hill anyways. Now we've reached today. Akuroma had reached the misty foot of the hill nearly an hour ago. He was clearly frustrated that Enzu had not reached the hill yet, knowing that he'd be dependent on the Pawniard for this training excursion.

He sighed, his psychic sensory abilities wouldn't allow him to sense Enzu's arrival, which means he had no idea if the Pawniard was miles away or just a few yards. Thankfully the mist here was not as thick as the mist on Black Mist Mountain, and Akuroma could see through it without much difficulty. Not that it helped at the moment, unless the gleam of the Pawniard's blades shined through the mist.

"We'll find more items later," he said as they climbed up the hill. It didn't really matter to him, they were here to train, which meant encountering Pokemon was the top priority, not finding items. He certainly didn't plan on climbing Black Mist without items, but unless they found a useful item here, he planned on traveling light.

Enzu nodded when Akuroma said they could find items later, "Alright," he said. The pair walked for a short while, and then Enzu noticed that just ahead of them were two pokemon. One was a large purple shape that seemed to looking around. And the second was smaller, but was constantly bouncing up and down on a spring. Enzu then touched Akuroma's shoulder and whispered to him, "Akuroma slow down, there are two pokemon ahead of us."

Akuroma nodded, "I can sense them," he said, stopping while he watched the pair.

"Looks like a Gengar and Spoink, though I'm not sure if we could take the Gengar easily, we might be able to get the Spoink to accidentally fight it if we position them and us right," the Ralts said, looking over to Enzu for his thoughts. Normally the Ralts would have opted for them to try and go around the Pokemon, seeing as they had yet to be spotted, but they were here to train, not avoid fights.

Enzu thought for a short moment about a possible plan of action, "Maybe, " he said. Enzu then started to look through his bag, "We could also temporarily block out the Gengar by throwing the Blinker Seed I found back at Black Mist Mountain into it's mouth." he said as held out the seed. "That way we can focus on the Spoink, and work out what to do with the Gengar after that."

Akuroma looked over to the seed and the Gengar, "How do you suppose we get it to eat the seed? I don't believe it'll just open it's mouth for a seed randomly flying towards it," the Ralts said. He wasn't sure if either plan would work, but at least his didn't require trying to get something between the Gengar's always toothy grin.

"We could try both our plans, if we can get the Gengar to sleep, we can feed it the blinker seed, and then it'll be blind when it wakes," Akuroma suggested. He slowly began to stand up, as the Gengar had disappeared further into the mist.

"Sounds like a plan to me," Enzu said. Then as Akuroma began to stand up he said, "You begin the attack and I will follow up with a Psycho Cut. That way if I hit the Gengar it will do some decent damage." Enzu himself wasn't sure about which plan would work best, but if the two of them worked together then they should be able to defeat the two pokemon that were ahead of them.

Akuroma nodded, "Wait here for me to get the Gengar's back turned towards you," he said as he slipped deeper into the mist and disappeared. As Akuroma approached the Spoink, the Gengar came back into view, it having only stepped a few feet away from it's bouncing companion. Akuroma began using Double Team, his several copies surrounding the two Pokemon before he and all his copies suddenly charged out of the fog and began attacking the two Pokemon.

Of course only his fist hit the Spoink, the rest of his copies going right through the two Pokemon. The force of hi fist wasn't much, he not being a very physical fighter, but it was enough to make the Spoink bounce back a few feet, dazed at the sudden attack.

Enzu watched as Akuroma went ahead and began to use Double Team. Enzu had always wondered what the fourth move that Akuroma used was because he only ever saw him use three moves. Once Akuroma began to attack the pokemon, Enzu began to enter into the fray as well. He began to charge at them while charging up a Psycho Cut. However, the Gengar was now getting into the battle, it was firing what seemed to be Confuse Ray's at all of the fake Akuroma's, hoping that it would actually hit the correct one.

As Aku and his copies tried to dodge the several Confuse rays, he didn't notice one that passed right through a copy in front of him. He was flung back a bit but appeared to be fine. At least, until he began to wobble about, looking around, his eyes appearing to be swirls. Soon he started firing random Confuse Rays and teleporting randomly.

Enzu was shocked that Akuroma had been hit by the Gengar's confuse ray, since Akuroma was so used to using the move himself. Enzu noticed that the Gengar began to laugh at Akuroma as the Ralts began to fire random confuse rays and teleport around. Enzu realized that this was his chance to get the Blinker Seed into the Gengar's mouth. He then quickly grabbed the Blinker Seed out of his bag and quickly threw it into the Gengar's mouth. The Gengar swallowed the seed while he was laughing, and once he did he had a look of shock on his face. The Gengar then began to look around, it didn't seem like it couldn't see, but the Gengar was obviously confused as to why he couldn't see anymore.

Now that the Gengar was blinded, Enzu turned his attention to getting rid of Akuroma's confusion, so that Enzu wouldn't need to worry about getting hit by his own ally's confuse ray.

Akuroma continued his barrage of teleports and confuse rays, actually hitting the Spoink with one of the rays by pure chance. This did little to help him or Enzu, as the Spoink was uneffected by the Confuse Ray and simply kept bouncing around.

Enzu wasn't sure about what he should do next. The top two options would be to take out the Spoink as fast as possible, and then try to knock out Akuroma so that he wasn't continuously flashing around and shooting out Confuse Ray's. Or he could do so in an opposite order, and that way he could focus more on defeating the Spoink and worry a bit less about getting hit by friendly fire. Luckily the Gengar was still wandering around blinded, trying to get its berrings, so Enzu didn't have to worry about it for a bit. Enzu decided that he would try and knock Akuroma out first, that way he could focus on defeating the Spoink.

Enzu then quickly dodged down onto the ground to avoid and oncoming Confuse Ray from Akuroma. When he was on the ground, Enzu noticed a large rock, one that was big enough to hopefully knock Akuroma out. Enzu then stood up, kicked the rock up into the air like he did most round objects, and then roundhouse kicked it straight at Akuroma's head.

When the rock hit Akuroma in the head, he stopped firing, having a moment of clarity before blacking out and landing on his back, hard. The Spoink, a bit miffed about why the Enzu would attack his own ally, confused or not, decided to try it's own Confuse Ray on the Pawniard. As it did this, it began to bounce more, causing the rays to cover more area and be harder to dodge.

Now that Enzu had taken care of the confused Akuroma, he turned his attention to the Spoink, the only other pokemon that was currently a threat. As the Spoink began to start firing Confuse Ray's Enzu was able to use his Inner Focus Ability in order to see what he believed to be the best direction to take in order to dodge the attacks. However Enzu would need to be swift and keep changing his course, as the Confuse Ray's seemed to be constantly coming.

As Enzu began to move, he also began charging up a Psycho Cut, he figured that once he got close enough to the Spoink, if he even could, he would begin to use Fury Cutter to take out the bouncing pig. As Enzu dodged the first few Confuse Ray's he then launched his Psycho Cut towards the Spoink as he continued to dodge the confuse rays.

Enzu's aim was excellent, as the Psycho Cut hit the Spoink's pearl and knocked it loose. The Spoink's attacks immediately ceased as it began to boing and sproing towards it's pearl, which was now rolling down the hill.

The Gengar's eyes began to clear up, as it was able to now see the blurry image of Enzu, but was unsure what he was exactly. Trying to rub it's eyes clear, the Gengar growled to itself.
