| First topic message reminder :
Akuroma hefted up his bag as he waited at the entrance of Pricklemist Hill. After getting back to Grassveil and healing up, the two Pokemon decided to go to Pricklemist Hill. However, unlike their attempt at Black Mist Mountain, they decided to prepare. It was nearly two weeks before they decided they were prepared and began their journey.
However, they got separated along the way, but planned to meet up at Pricklemist Hill anyways. Now we've reached today. Akuroma had reached the misty foot of the hill nearly an hour ago. He was clearly frustrated that Enzu had not reached the hill yet, knowing that he'd be dependent on the Pawniard for this training excursion.
He sighed, his psychic sensory abilities wouldn't allow him to sense Enzu's arrival, which means he had no idea if the Pawniard was miles away or just a few yards. Thankfully the mist here was not as thick as the mist on Black Mist Mountain, and Akuroma could see through it without much difficulty. Not that it helped at the moment, unless the gleam of the Pawniard's blades shined through the mist.

| When Akuroma slammed the Fletchling into the ground, he began to charge a Fury Cutter just in case that it wasn't unconscious yet. He then slowly made his way over to the Fletchling while in a ready stance in case it suddenly started to move. Once the Fury Cutter was full formed he held one blade low close to the ground and in front of him, while he held the other high and above his head.
Just before Enzu was within reach of the Fletchling so that he could check if it was conscious, it sprung to life and suddenly flew off into the mist. Even though the small bird vanished into the mist, Enzu did not leave his ready stance or deactivate his fury cutter. With the blades of red energy giving off the small glow, Enzu was about to ask Akuroma if he still sensed the Fletchling. But before he could do so, the Fletchling came flying back at Enzu and Akuroma with a Quick Attack. It was moving so fast that Enzu could not react in time. He swung his blades at the bird but he only managed to cut at the air. The fletchling then vanished again back into the mist.
((The Fletchlings moveset has changed to Agility, Growl, Quick Attack, and Peck)) ((This was agreed upon by Draco and Axi, because Tackle had not been used yet and it makes the battle more of a challenge)) |

| Akuroma groaned a bit, "Wonderful, just wonderful," he said as he prepared another Confuse Ray. Suddenly he felt something slam into the side of his head and he was flung to his right, the Fletchling having just hit him with a Quick Attack. Flipping over on the ground a few times before getting onto his feet and skidding to a halt, Akuroma was none to pleased to have been blind sided by the bird Pokemon. Akuroma growled a bit before using Confusion on the ground below him to make four rocks float and spin around him like shields. | |

| Enzu was still trying to watch out for the Fletchling when it flew back past him and Akuroma, and hit Akuroma during its flight. Enzu was trying to come up with some way to defeat their formidable adversary, the birds rapid flight and quick attack, in combination with the fog, made it very difficult for them to tell when an attack was coming. And even if they did guess where it was coming from, it was still moving far to fast for them to hit it. Enzu looked over to Akuroma and noticed that he was using stones as a shield. Since Akuroma was protecting himself, Enzu knew that the Fletchling would most likely focus its attack on him.
After thinking about all of the problems that were facing them, and thinking about the skills that they had their disposal, Enzu came up with what he hoped would be a solution to their problem. "Akuroma," he said calmly, "use your confusion to make a medium sized clearing centered around me... I have an idea." |

| Akuroma looked over to Enzu as he spoke and nodded, the mist around the pawniard glowing blue and spreading away, as if afraid of him. Akuroma kept himself hidden in the mist, though the stones made the mist around him swirl. When the Ralts had made the clearing, the fletchling was coming in for another attack on the Pawniard, this time a peck attack. | |

| Enzu looked around as the fog around him began to expand. However, he was no expecting the Fletchling's next attack to be happening now so the Peck attack hit Enzu on the head and he Fletchling continued to fly at a high speed back into the fog.
Enzu took no time in showing pain from the attack, it was unexpected and did cause pain, but Enzu had no time to worry about it. From the center of the clearing, Enzu turned and stood in a low ready stance. He decided to focus his Fury Cutter on only one of his blades, so his left arm was out in front of him with the read glow from the attack, and his right arm hung loosely at his side. ((Enzu's left handed))
He had seen his father do something similar to this before, he would stand in the center of the dojo and would deflect projectiles that were launched by his grand father using telekinesis. The objects were moving at high speed then, but his father could at least see them coming. In the situation here, Enzu would have to rely on his other senses to listen for the Fletchlings flapping wings in order to guess where it was coming from.
Enzu listened intently on his surroundings, he could slightly hear the flapping of the Fletchlings wings coming from in front of him. The sound of the wings rapidly got louder, then suddenly the Fletchling appeared inside the clearing and was flying straight towards Enzu. Enzu quickly turned to his side and out of the way of the Fletchling, and then swung his Fury Cutter at the bird. The Fletchling missed Enzu just barely, and kept on flying straight back out of the clearing. However, a single red feather slowly fell to the ground, showing that Enzu had just barely hit the speeding bird.
Because he did land a hit, the length of Enzu's blade grew slightly longer. Enzu then took another ready position from where he was standing currently. Enzu then began to listen again for the sounds of the Fletchling's wings. This time Enzu heard them coming from his left, as they got louder Enzu was able to slightly better his timing and synchronize with the Fletchling entering into the clearing. Once the Fletchling was visible Enzu lightly hopped back and swung upwards with his blade. This time he landed a more solid hit on the Fletchling, however it wasn't enough to defeat it. The Fletchling lost control of it's flight temporarily, causing it to become a sold shape rather then simply a blur. Once it regained control of its flight, the Fletchling re-exited the clearing.
Enzu's blade grew once more, and now it was almost twice its original size. Enzu took his ready stance once more, and waited for the Fletchling. He heard the sound of its oncoming attack and was prepared, the time is coming from behind Enzu, most likely it hoped that by coming from behind it could avoid Enzu's attack. However Enzu could still hear it coming from behind, and its speed had not changed at all from the last attack. Now that Enzu was almost perfectly in sync with the Fletchling, he turned and lept to his side as it entered into the clearing. As Enzu jumped to the side he made one grand downward swing with his Fury Cutter. The blade finally made full contact with the Fletchling, causing the bird to fall down to ground. Since it was traveling at such a fast rate the Fletchling continued forward as it hit and dragged across the ground. The bird seemed to come to a stop just at the edge of the fog clearing that Akuroma had created, and it did not move from this spot.
After seeing that the bird did not move, Enzu held out his blade, now almost as long as himself, and canceled the attack in a way that made it seem like the Fury Cutter shrunk in size to the point that all that remained was Enzu's natural blade. |

| Akuroma, using the stone underneath him to lift himself up off the ground, silently watched as Enzu and the Fletchling battled. The Ralts blinked as each time the Fletchling tried to attack Enzu, the Pawniard was able to more easily dodge and attack the Flying Type. When the Fletchling finally skidded to a halt, Akuroma let the four rocks around him form stairs as he walked down next to Enzu. "Nice reflexes," the Ralts said, the rocks crumbling to dust behind him when he stepped onto the ground. Akuroma then walked over to the Fletchling to search it for items. "Watch my back while I search, it'd be a pain if this one's flock found us," he said as he searched. - Dracorexion carried out 1 launched of one Pricklemist Hill :

| Enzu watched as Akuroma walked back into the clearing and commented on his skills. Enzu then nodded his head and said, "Thank you." Enzu then watched as the Ralts went over to search the body of the Fletchling they had just defeated, it was amazing how much the Ralts was interested in items. As Enzu looked out for any other pokemon, a dark gas seemed to begin forming around Akuroma. Enzu wasn't sure of what it was exactly, but he knew it probably wasn't some thing good. "Akruoma look out!" he shouted. Enzu then jumped forward and tackled Akuroma so that he wasn't sitting in the gas anymore.

| Akuroma looked up towards Enzu before being tackled by him, giving off a loud, "Oof!" when the two Pokemon made contact. Not a second after the Pawniard tackled him, the dark gas formed into a Ghastly where Akuroma was. Akuroma moaned in complaint at the sight of another Pokemon to battle.
"Man...the Pokemon here seem to be more aggressive than those of Black Mist Mountain," the Ralts stated as he stood up and faced the Ghastly.
"Wanna sit this one out Enzu? Or are you still ready to fight?" Akuroma asked the Pawniard, not knowing how badly Enzu might be hurt from the fight with the Fletchling.

| Enzu stood up and turned to face the Gastly, "How about we switch roles," he said. "I take the support and you take the lead." He then turned to Akuroma to check if his plan we accepted, "Sound alright with you?" he asked.
The moment that Enzu looked away from the Gastly, it let out a large screech and attack Enzu, somehow the gaseous pokemon was able to physcially hit Enzu, knocking him back a small distance. Enzu then lifted up his blades to defend himself and thought, "Well I deserved that one," he had after all taken his eyes off of the opponent. Luckily for the two of them it wouldn't be too hard to watch the Gastly, since the pokemon's dark gas body made it very easy to distinguish in the white fog. |

| Akuroma watched as Enzu was flung back by the Ghastly, "Sounds like a plan," he said, stopping the Ghastly a couple inches from him with a Confusion attack when it tried to attack him. He looked over to the Ghastly and smirked slightly.
"Looks like I'm your opponent," he said before squeezing the Ghastly against itself with the Confusion attack, as just slamming it around would be useless with it's ghost typing.

| The rims of the Gastly glowed blue as Akuroma used his confusion on it. The Gastly was compressed and it visibly was not happy with this. The Gastly did its best to struggle out of the confusion. However, once it was facing Akuroma, a larger gastly seemed to form out of thin air and rushed at Akuroma, it was using Night Shade.
Enzu was standing back and was ready to attack, he saw the large gastly suddenly appear and was not sure what to do. He waited to see how Akuroma would react and then Enzu would act accordingly. |

| Akuroma disappeared in a bright, minty green flash and appeared behind the ghost Pokemon as the Night Shade flew past where he was standing. Akuroma smirked slightly and fired a Confuse Ray at the Ghastly at point blank. He hoped confusing the Ghost type would allow him enough time to take it out with Confusion. | |

| The Gastly was not sure of exactly what had happened, but the Ralts he was aiming for suddenly vanished in a flash of light. And when it disappeared the Confusion attack stopped and the Gastly was no longer being compressed. The Gastly took advantage of this and started to go towards Enzu, however before it could get far the Confuse Ray hit it. Due to its confusion, the Gastly started to use Lick repeatedly on the air.
For the most part Enzu stood in shock at how the Gastly was reacting to being confused. He had seen pokemon that were confused before, but none had ever acted like this. Enzu then began to charge up a Psycho Cut so that he could actually provide some aid in this fight. |

| Akuroma held his hand up to Enzu and shook his hand, "It's alright, I got this," the Ralts said, putting his arm back down. He looked back at the licking Ghastly and used Confusion on it again, compressing it until finally it stopped moving. Letting it go, the Ghastly slowly floated down to the ground.
"Let's go," the Ralts said as he began walking back up the hill, only stopping a bit of a ways to look back at Enzu, "If there was anything on the Fletchling, we won't know, it escaped during the battle with the Ghastly," he said in case the Pawniard hadn't noticed the bird Pokemon being nowhere in sight.

| Enzu looked off in the direction of where the Flecthling originally was and saw that it was in fact no longer there. Enzu then began to follow Akuroma back up the hill, "Are you sure you don't want to searc the Gastly's body for any items?" he joked. |
