Searching for the Troublemaker Empty
PostSubject: Searching for the Troublemaker   Searching for the Troublemaker EmptySun Jan 05, 2014 5:12 am

Clyde had been looking at the paper over and over, hoping this would go well. It was late at night, and the young Abra was fully rested for this job. He was nervous, but he figured it would eventually fade away. Clydes only worry was the other Pokemon that could be around.

Clyde began going up a path, that ran almost to the mountains peak from what he could see. There wasn't really a whole lot to see, but he enjoyed looking at the sky as he walked on through. The stars made him feel not so lonely for some reason he didn't understand.

"This is going to be a long night..." Clyde told himself. He could feel the temperatures drop, with only his bag to keep him warm. Every couple minutes, a breeze would come through, nipping at his skin. The Psychic type just pushed on through, hoping to be done with this soon.

Kari wanted to test himself, wanted to test his abilities, see how strong he truly is. That was the reason he came to this mountain tonight, he wanted to see how strong he was by testing his agility, strength and endurance. He thought that racing up Black Mist Mountain would be a great way to test this, he knows this place well.

Kari readied himself at the base of the path the goes up the mountain and took off with a powerful stride as he continued up the path at a breakneck speed.

Clyde had been climbing for the mountain for some time now. His legs already feeling weak, and he wasn't sure how high up this Ralts was. However, the Psychic Pokemon sensed something coming from behind him. It was the same feeling he got when he was sleeping. So naturally the young Abra teleported out of the way, and onto a large boulder.

He layed his body on his stomach, waiting for whatever was coming to pass. As long as it wasn't a much larger Pojemon, like a Tyranitar, he should be fine. Clyde hoped it was his target, but doubted it was the Ralts. If it was, then he would be excited, but disappointed that the outlaw didn't give him much of a challenge. However, it would be a little harder to identify the Pokemon through the mist.

Kari had been sprinting up the path for awhile and really needed to take a rest for a bit, so he walked over to a rock near the Abra and layed down for awhile, he hoped he wouldn't get jumped by any Pokemon while he was taking a quick nap. He felt a slight anxiety but dispelled the thought from his mind and focused on sleeping

The Abra noticed it was just an Absol. He quickly jumped from the rock, using his Psychic powers to make the touchdown safer for him. He continued walking forward, hoping he didn't bother the Absol, but wouldn't be surprised of he did. Continuing on, Clyde walked forward, constantly moving his head trying to find the Outlaw.

Part of him wanted to just call out for it, but he knew it wouldn't work. "Don't think the Ralts is that dumb..." Clyde said in the darkness of the night. He looked at the piece of paper one last time, then shoving it in his bag. Clyde began walking slower, only because the mountain got a little more steep. He wasn't even hear the top and he was tired.

Kari was awoken by the sound of footsteps walking past him. Kari waited a minute then began to follow the sound of the footsteps. He snuck up quietly behind the Abra and said quietly [color#6666cc]"You seem a bit tired there, don't you"[/color]

When the Absol spoke, it wasn't much of a surprise. "If you're trying to scare me, you're not doing to well." Clyde liked being able to have Psychoc powers, mostly because he knew if something g was there or not. But he had to be focused to know what was coming.

Clyde stopped and turned to see what the Pokemon needed. Hopefully he wasn't a beggar, because Clyde had nothing of value on him. The only thing he worried about with the Absol was if he was going to attack him though.

"One with bravery, I see" Kari said with a slight smile "I can respect that in other pokemon, so what are you doing up this far on the mountain? I usually see you psychic types reading books at the library"

Clyde was slightly offended by his comment. "That's just a stereotype."He said and began to walk up the hill. "I'm on a mission to take care of an Outlaw if you must know..." Clyde thought he heard something up a head, but it was just the wind, stirring a few rocks.

The young Pokemon started becoming slightly anxious about this mission. He wanted the Ralts to pop out now before he lost all of his energy. But he knew that there was still a long walk before reaching the other Psychic type.

"I didn't need to know, I was just a little curious why someone like you was climbing up Black Mist Mountain that's all. So, What would you say to an extra pair of eyes, huh? Outlaws here are tricky buggars, so It would be helpful for someone else to watch you back. What do ya say? Partners?"

Clyde sighed, knowing he probably needed a little extra help. He nodded and continued walking ahead, trying to stay focused on his surroundings. As he progressed on the mountain, he came to a fork in the path. In front of them was a large wall and two paths that led up hill.

"Hmm..." Clyde tried using his abilities, but couldn't find the path this Ralts was on. "Left or Right...." He mumbled to himself. One thing that helped was a faint set of footprints leading up the right side. "Let's go this way." The Abra began walking up the steep path, hoping he chose correctly.
(I'll rp the outlaw sometime on the second page :) )

(Okay, Cool)
"Wait!" Kari shouted to the Abra "You didn't even look to see what kind of footprints they are, You aren't going to catch any outlaws if you don't observe clues you are given" Kari looked closely at the footprints. They were small little circles in the ground "Hmm, These could be the footprints of a Ralts" He said to himself "Hey, are you looking for a Ralts?" He shouted to the Abra

"Yes." Clyde replied simply. He assumed it was from a Ralts because of the size. However, it could just be footprints from a larger Pokemon with dirt covering the rest. There was no way for Clyde to know for sure.

"For all I know, the Ralts could have used their powers to fly up to the peak." The young Abra continued along, using some of his abilities to help move his legs. This helped him a little. At least enough to keep going without a break.

"Okay, Now we are getting somewhere" said Kari as he picked up his speed to catch up to the Abra "Man, You look really tired, are you sure you are okay?" said Kari concernedly "Is there something with psychic types that makes them really tired? I don't want you collapsing from exhaustion before we get anywhere."

"Well my arms and legs are tired, but I don't think using my abilities make me tired." Clyde stopped when he found a flat area, that wasn't that step. He sat down and took a break from all the walking. It seemed like it's been forever getting this far on the mountain, even though it had only been a few hours.

The young Abra sat on a rock, that was actually comfortable. "So when do you think we'll run into the Outlaw?" Clyde hoped it was soon, because the young Psychic was still tired.
