| Subject: (Up for Adoption) Marya the Purrloin Thu Nov 28, 2013 5:16 pm | |
| »Name: Marya »Gender: Female »Species: Purrloin (The Devious Pokémon #509) »Affiliation: A wander and bard.
»Level: Five »Ability: Limber (Prevents paralysis) »Moves: - Scratch(Starter) - Growl(level 3) - Feint Attack(Egg) - N/A
»Likes: Marya likes everything shiny and pretty due to her fetish for wanting as well as having shiny objects in her possession. This Purrloin likes singing and hearing a good story due to her childhood, where her mother would tell her stories and songs in her sleep. She also likes telling other stories to other pokemon due to this reason. Marya also likes to outwit her enemies and friends, since she finds it funny when they find out they have been doped.
»Dislikes: Marya dislikes being outwitted and being beaten at battle due to the fact she likes being the one on the winning end. She also dislikes spicy food and cold places due to the two things being a 'dreadful' thing.
»Personality: She maybe small but what she makes up for in size she makes it up in pure attitude. Loving to be the center of attention, she often makes sure that she is looked at and complimented for her work. It is in her nature to be mischievous and will sometimes laugh at the enemies she confused when using her expansive intelligence. This Purrloin loves to sing, hear stories and tell them. She often gives pokemon who wish to hear expansive details and shows great performances then telling them. This pokemon can play a small wooden flute, which she plays when she enters a town or when feeling alone. Marya is known to be rebellious in spirit, refusing to back down when her ideals are placed to the test. She sticks to what she thinks, and what she wants only. The only way to change her mind is to convince her with charm. She likes being complimented to where she is willing to listen to orders.
It is in her nature to steal object- but Marya resents this stating that she'd rather stop the thief then become one. Marya will sometimes laugh at her enemies, even when she is in a dangerous situation. Rose is known to get hungrier quicker, so she stuffs her face a lot. Once you have gain her trust she seems to be a whole different Purrloin. Honest and loyal to her friends and no one else. Marya can also be highly protective of what she considers her friends and allies. Marya is also very imaginative and often uses her imagination to explain things. Marya is the kind of person you believe you shouldn't trust, but you'll love her either way. Her wisdom is seemingly beyond her own age and is great at giving advice as well as master-plans for ultimate world domination that ultimately involves her sitting on her butt and eating apples.
»History: Marya was born to a mother Liepard and her father was a Houndoom. Her mother and father wasn't in good terms. Her father, a Houndoom name Sonata; was a outlaw. Her mother didn't know this until she had her first egg, Marya. In order to come to terms with his fatherhood, Sonata had told her. Juna, Marya's mother was shocked and angry. How could he tell her this now? She lashed out at him. Telling him to leave the day before Marya hatched. Sonata did as he was told, but not before he stole her family's most precious item; a Golden Mask given to Juna by her great great grandfather before his death. Juna was furious, and vowed vengeance.
Marya hatched that day later, and she was happy to see that she had a daughter. Juna spent the first day of her child's life cuddling her and telling her stories of old. The newborn purrloin listened well. Through out her life before she left her mother, Marya had been a rebellious child. She often refused to listen to her mother, but when she did, Marya was often rewarded for her behavior. Juna taught her the tricks of being a charmer and out-witting your foes. Marya liked reading and telling stories, she became smarter due to this. By the time she left, she was just as intelligent as her mother, maybe even more.
The day when Marya had to leave, she was given a wooden flute her mother had made herself. "Marrrrya, you may have been a paw full, but I loooove you. Just remembeeerrr that you need to return with the Golden Mask. If not, then you can't come home to ssssstay, but be ssssurrrre to visssit! I'll keep some ppppeerrrrrfect applesss jussst for you." With that, Marya left, with a spring in her step and her flute playing along the quiet breeze of the summer wind.
»Other: Marya is the pet form of Greek Maria, meaning "obstinacy, rebelliousness" or "their rebellion." Which matches her personalty. -Marya has a fear of ice and water, so if the dungeon has ice in it, she will not be willing to go, but if it has water, she may go with a little convincing. -In her accent, she tends to roll her 's' 'er' and 'r' in general since she is a cat-like pokemon, so it resembles a purr or a hiss from a normal cat.Administrator's note: The information below is the progress made by the original RPer that could not be edited into the bio template (Items and threads.)
