» Likes: His leek-stick, the oh-so-terrifyingly-named "face-stabber" (A prized possession from youth, a true and constant friend), His own notions of honor (explained in-history), general gallantry and do-gooderness. He's got the feeling that one must do good to feel good, and so he likes doing good, because it makes him feel good. He's also got quite the fondness for oran-berries, though he'll not admit to such until you see him stuffing his face. (Mother never did catch on that he had been snatching them.)

» Dislikes: Cowardice, refusing to help another, retreating from battle, violating his own code of honor. He hates being in a position where running is the solution, and would prefer to make a glorious stand, rather than live to fight another day. Also, he's really not fond of the smell of poke-eggs, it reminds him too much of being small and incapable of helping out.

» Personality: Luke is a rather excitable chap. He tends to speak his mind, speak quickly, and is fond of getting things done. He holds dearly to the idea of respect and honor, and expresses that in the way he approaches fights, thinking that engaging multiple foes means only that the multiple foes have no honor. He prefers duels, separate occasions. This doesn't mean he's any good at them, but for the sake of honor, he will sometimes challenge a much more powerful opponent to a duel, only to get clobbered.
He's a thoughtful fellow when he gets the time for it, but his thoughts are often directed away from the practical, and more to the metaphysical. He thinks often of family and friends, and is doggedly loyal when he forms a bond with a group. As for his honor, it may seem unbecoming to use poison, or to spray sand in the face of an opponent, but Luke feels it justified in the context of a duel. Far preferring to use his weapon in combat, he resorts to other physical attacks (like peck) only when it seems absolutely necessary.

» History: Raised in a gentle, loving home, one would expect Luke to go and do something very reasonable with his life; deliver mail with the Pelippers, or manage a shop, or otherwise do something rather mundane, like farming onions with his family. No, rather than do that, the young lad was ever more interested in stuff like tales of glory and honor. To go out into the field, to right wrongs, to fight the unbeatable foe! That seemed his impossible dream, to go and right great wrongs.
His family at first considered it nothing more than a passing phase, for every child wants to be a hero at some point, but Luke continued down this path. Often, they'd see him fencing in the field, waving his own leek around like he was cutting invisible foes, achieving fantastic feats of derring-do. But all of that was to come to an end when he finally packed up his one little sack one day, and set out for Grassveil Town, to seek glory and honor.

» Other: He says his leek is special. Pay no heed, it's really just the same as any other, no matter what tales he spins of it.
