| First topic message reminder :
A young girl with pale brown hair tied in a ponytail, wandered down the hallway of the Shin'ō Academy (or as the locals called it: the Shinigami Academy) in her white and red uniform. Her destination was the board upon which the school posted important messages and information. She was incredibly nervous. After taking the entrance exam for the academy, she was about to find out whether or not she had gained a place at the school.
With the board finally in sight, Kiyomi stopped walking all of a sudden. She couldn't quite see anything that was written, but her nerves seemed to have gotten the better of her. What if she didn't get a high enough score? What if she would have to wait to retry the entrance exam? She was never this nervous about anything and it felt unnatural to her. But her mind focused on one thing; if she didn't get into the academy, what if she hurt her friend again?
As these thoughts crept into her already nervous mind, a group of other students wandered past her, evidently headed for the board. Kiyomi stood for a moment and watched, waiting to see what their results were. Judging from the large smiles that were passed around the group shortly after, they had succeeded. With a small sigh, Kiyomi closed her eyes, still standing in the middle of the hall. "Alright, pull yourself together Kiyomi," she thought to herself, trying to pluck up the courage to move forward, "You'll never find out how you did if you just stand here."
Opening her teal blue eyes and nervously twisting a hand through her wavy, pale-brown ponytail, she took a few steps forward until she was stood in front of the large board. Glancing at it, she scanned all of the pinned up papers, looking for the correct one. Finding the list of students who had taken the exam, she scanned down it for her name:
Shiratori Kiyomi.... Pass
All of her former nervousness evaporated instantly and a wide grin spread over her face as she read the result. The sheet neglected to mention scores, possibly out of respect for those students who had failed, however Kiyomi didn't really care. She had passed! There was a small note pinned to the entrance exam results telling everyone who had passed to find their name on one of the class lists and prepare for their first lessons. Nodding to herself, Kiyomi began to scan each of the lists, looking for the class she had been put into. | |

| "I don't think whoever it was intended to harm any of us, we were just in the wrong place at the wrong time..." blinked Kiyomi, trying to remain calm as she thought back to that night, "But I remember sensing a large amount of condensed reiryoku.... and it didn't match any of the students present for the Konso training." She paused to let this information sink in. "I don't know why yet, but I think someone used their spiritual power to deliberately bring the hollows into the area that night." | |

| So even with that, it had STILL been an accident. Rake looked at Kiyomi, "Okay, so how about you tell a teacher or something? Or do you have something in mind to do with me?" Some students glanced at the two students that had stopped training, and seemed a bit annoyed, probably thinking that the two stopped because they were Special and were either too good or too poor at Kido to continue. | |

| "If the teachers were going to take this seriously they would have done so by now. Instead they passed the entire attack off on a chance occurrence," replied Kiyomi, "I need more proof than just my word if i'm going to get them involved." The young shinigami seemed to suddenly realise the glances they were getting from the other students and promptly headed back over to the area she had been stood in before. Taking her Asauchi from her back and laying it down on the ground before her, she made to begin practicing her Shakkaho once more; though it was mostly just to quell the curiosity and annoyance of the other students. | |

| Rake followed and took a training spot near Kiyomi so they could keep speaking, his Kido became somewhat weaker as he spoke, but still managed to use the spell, "annnd just how are you going to get that proof? Judging by how you're telling me this you either want my help or think that I would want to help." He actually did want to help, he could track down the guy that caused Tora's death and give him...well nothing since he was technically not allowed to. Rake had become more abiding by the rules since Tora's death, and in a nutshell improved in nearly everything BUT a certain subject that has yet to come up... | |

| "I don't know that yet either... hence why I am coming to you," she replied, "Two minds are better than one after all." She paused, her teal eyes trained on his face for a moment before she returned her attention to the targets on the other side of the field. She began the incantation for the Shakkaho once more, her palms outstretched in front of her as she focused her reiryoku into them and began forming another red orb. | |

| "Well, I don't see anyways to track him down unless we get some kind of reiastu tracker, by the way try putting more reiryoku in your Kido, that might help it last long enough to reach the target." Rake blinked as he released another spell onto the target. He guessed he was finished now since the target dummy and been broken to pieces of debris. | |

| Kiyomi hadn't responded with speech due to not wanting to break her concentration, but she raised an eyebrow at the tip he gave her. After all the spells exploding in her face, had she been subconsciously limiting the amount of power she put into her Kidō spells? She thought she'd done it the way she always had, which just took a few tries but worked eventually. Nevertheless, she gave it a shot, putting extra power into the red orb that gathered before her palms. "Hadō #31. Shakkahō!" she cried out, firing the red orb from her palms. This time the orb did reach a bit further, actually colliding with the target instead of fizzling out before it could even reach it. With a small grin, she looked up at the taller student. "Thanks," she smiled before her expression returned to the more serious one she had worn before. "We don't have a direct way of tracking that specific reiryoku, no. So we'll have to resort to some old fashioned detective work if we're gonna get any proof," she replied. | |

| "Where are we even going to begin though? I doubt the other students would know anything since they were probably being too terrified of hollows to notice little details, especially when they have a hollow mask right in front of their face. Unless you know of someone who wasn't attacked by a hollow that day?" Rake replied, dropping the hint that he was going to help by proposing questions and suggestions without outright saying he was going to help. He had assumed that the girl already knew he was going to help, so why bother saying it? | |

| Kiyomi's teal eyes stared at Rakeshisu for a second before her serious expression turned to more of a frown put on in false annoyance. "Aw, do I really have to think of everythiiiiing~?" Kiyomi asked in a more childish sounding tone. It was clear that she hadn't actually thought everything through yet, having only been reminded by the conversation those two girls were having a short while ago. She might seem serious and vastly intelligent at times, but even she wasn't perfect. | |

| Rake rolled his eyes, "Fine, how about we ask the people in our class. We'll have to be casual about it though since they would wonder why we of all people were bringing back memories..." he trailed off as he felt a wave of depression overcome him that he quickly dispersed as he expelled the memory from his mind. "I don't think people will be expecting me of all people to just walk up to them as well" | |

| "I suppose... I don't really talk to many people either though. Not since..." She trailed off. It was more than obvious she was speaking about the death of her friend, especially since it was currently the main topic of discussion between them. "I prefer to focus on my work rather than socializing I guess," she replied with a small frown. Things were quickly becoming depressing as the conversation brought back memories for both of them. Wanting to move on quickly, she glanced around, her teal eyes scanning the class and trying to decide on who would be best to try and approach first. | |

| The options were few, some people were just too engulfed in their training to interrupt. The only ones that were doing nothing were the two gossiping girls from earlier, a nerdy looking boy with glasses, and the same monstrously sized wrestling like human that Rake had chickened out of fighting on the first day of school. Rake was unsure of approaching any of them, not knowing a single one's name despite being in the same classes as them for so long. "Well, good luck in your interviews!" Rake spoke as he clapped his hand on Kiyomi's shoulder with a laugh. | |

| As Kiyomi's teal eyes had scanned the class, she had spotted the brawny male student that Rake had seen. Unfortunately for Rake, Kiyomi had looked away just in time and the brawny student made eye contact with him. "Well, good luck in your interviews!" Rake had said, clapping a hand to Kiyomi's shoulder and laughing. Kiyomi laughed back at him, the sound laced with sarcasm. Using her skills in Hakuda, she then grabbed Rakeshisu's arm and threw him onto the ground. With a genuine laugh she then dashed off to go and ask the nerdy kid if he knew anything, waving back to Rake as the bwany student walked over to him. "Good luck with your interview!" she waved with a chuckle. | |

| Rake wanted to run after Kiyomi and strangle her, but at the moment the big student blocked his path. He picked himself up and faced the shinigami that towered over him, grinning sadistically, "You looking at me?" "U-Uh no, I mean yes, and I sincerely apologize for it if it bothered you!" "You know they say that when two trainerswolves lock eyes, it always ends up in a fight for dominance, it that what you're trying to hint?" "What a ridiculous thing! No way I want to fight you!" "So you're calling me stupid?" "I'm just going to go now..." Rake's hands glowed a red color as he made a quick incantation and performed a Sekienton before running off, leaving the majority of the class to deal with a large red cloud. He did not stop until he reached the other side of the school, not caring that he just ditched class since his life was more important than a class he already did well in anyways... | |

| Kiyomi had halted her dash towards her intended interviewee and had been watching Rakeshisu as he spoke with the larger student. She felt rather guilty, but she couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. She was creasing over in her laughter as Rake ran off with the speed of a rocket. If he was that motivated normally, perhaps he'd be better at Hoho. It took Kiyomi a short while to recover from her bout of laughter, but as she did she felt as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. It was the first time she had truly laughed since the incident, and it felt so good to be able to sincerely smile at something. | |
