| Violet did just that to avoid being injured by the Gyarados ramming his head into various heavy objects and tree trunks. She kept holding on to the deep red protrusion, refusing to let go. "Channel your anger into a Flamethrower attack!" she called out to Proteus, wanting to test whether he could pull of the move or not. Even if only a weak version was produced thus far, they would have made at least some progress through all this destruction. She halted her tapping on his head as she spoke. | |

| Proteus, released a pillar of flames into the sky as his now out-of-senses mind was trying to use flamethrower on the oshawott that was behind his head ornament. Towards the end of the attack the flames flickered purple as a "clean flame" erupted and was barely visible. The clean flame only lasted for a second before returning to dirty yellow flames. The gyarados had no idea on what he had just done neither had he cared, he was close to learning the attack, but what would happen when he actually used it? | |

| Violet smiled a little at the flicker of purple. They were making good progress. Luckily the move wasn't the full move just yet, and so wouldn't confuse the red gyarados after he used it. However, the move wasn't the full Outrage move yet, and so there was no way Proteus would ever be able to replicate the conditions for using it properly outside of the dojo environment. Upon realising this, Violet continued her assault on the Gyarados's head, using a Tackle-charged scalchop to keep aggravating his headache. This method was rather unorthodox, but it appeared to be a quick way to enrage the red creature. | |

| The headache felt as if his very head was splitting now, Proteus's eyes widened and his jaws gaped in a loud roar. His large deep red body knocked into different trees and rocks even more so. Any passing pokemon that had been in the area before near Grassviel must have fled by now or hidden in their homes and stores the dotted the area. The large shiny gyarados gave a bellow that lasted for quite a while has his flamethrower erupted from his mouth once more with a pure purple flame. His thrashing became even stronger as a mysterious purple fog cloaked his body, and the outrage, began. | |

| Violet shivered at the gyarados's loud, bellowing roar. She'd made him angry alright, perhaps too angry. She could barely hold onto the deep red protrusion on his head as he flailed around, knocking into nearby trees and boulders. A few moments later, Proteus became cloaked in an odd purple fog. Violet took this as her signal to leap off of the gyarados's head, landing on the ground and rolling to break her fall. Luckily, she had been prepared for such an event, having found a sleep seed in the nearby forest before this session. However... as she stood back up, her eyes widened as she realised she'd completely forgotten to bring it outside with her.
Son of a biscuit! she all but cursed in her mind, before she turned and used Water Gun. She was trying to douse the purple flames, but she was also attempting to get the red gyarados's attention so that he would stop destroying the area around him in his rage.

| The flames around the gyarados were doused, but the raging attack continued. Proteus's head swirled as water struck him as he turned to face the oshawott that had caused this splitting headache. His eyes bulged in anger as his roar continued, he began to direct his attack towards the oshawott-the annoyance. Proteus's flamethrower had died, but the power from the outrage remained. The flamethrower was only a bonus to the attack, as Proteus went in to crash into the small being, not even hoping for anything as the headache nullified nearly everything but pain and rage. | |

| Perhaps turning the red gyarados's anger back toward herself hadn't been such a great idea after all. Violet quickly ran out of the way of the Gyarados's charge, but from here, there was no way she was getting back into the dojo building to grab the sleep seed she had left behind; the large Pokemon blocking her way toward it with his rather long, serpent like body. Deciding that she needed to combat the gyarados's rage long enough for the outrage move's effects to wear off, she used Copycat, her own body glowing with a pale white light before the light became a purple fog identical to that of Proteus's move. | |

| Proteus could not care less that the Oshawott prepared its own outrage attack. He was too busy being consumed by the attack's natural rage to notice really. The raging Gyarados roared as his flamethrower attack once more came out in the combination of the outrage and the clean flames spewed onto the ground and headed for the purple fog surrounded oshawott. The red gyarados's mouth gaped wide open as he attacked and his side fins stretched out to look more intimidating, get rid of the nuisance! Was his only thought. | |

| Despite the red gyarados's far superior power, Violet used as much of her strength as she could, using her scalchop to channel the Outrage's energy into an attack aimed at Proteus to counter his purple aura-ed charge. However, the energy from the oshawott's attack was quickly offset by Proteus's and was misdirected into the trees. The resulting smoke and rain of broken branches scared a group of resting butterfree, which fluttered overhead, leaves being scattered across the area in their panic to escape the dangerous area. | |

| As the butterfree flew over the battlefield, they released a light grey powder from their wings with each beat. The grey powder slowly fell and was inhaled by the raging gyarados. Proteus began to swoon, trying to keep his head up and high enough to remain intimidating and able to attack. The powder only kept coming though, causing him to become whoozy and finally give in the slumber inducing powder as his body slammed into the ground. Proteus had fallen asleep and his outrage was interrupted! | |

| Violet felt a rush of relief flood over her as the raging Gyarados fell asleep. She felt her own, copied outrage attack dissipating, the purple aura fading from her body and her scalchop as she calmed. She hadn't realised until just now, but she had genuinely been shaken up by how out of control Proteus had become. She was certainly good at what she did, but not good enough. After she had finished up with Proteus, she would need to train herself to be better prepared for any future circumstances similar to this.
Replacing her scalchop on her stomach, she sat down on the ground for a moment, before lying on her back and staring up at the sky as she waited for the Gyarados to awaken.

| (Shouldn't she be confused? |D) Proteus's grumbling snores were near non-existent, but remained ever so slightly there. It was a bit surprising at how a Gyarados could sleep so near soundlessly, since they were generally loud creatures that seem to shake the earth with their roars. His mind was dreaming a dream he would not remember when he waked, he did not even realize he had been in a dream let alone been asleep! Proteus woke after a few moments of rest, luckily, and blinked as he tried to remember what happened before he fell asleep. | |

| (Shh I forgot about that)
Waiting for the effects of a temporary confusion to wear off, Violet continued to lie on the ground, staring up at the sky, even as she heard the red Gyarados wake. Once she regained a normal status, she sat up again, before turning to look at a bewildered, woken Proteus. "Now you've learned the move, you need to learn how to control it," blinked Violet, her tone serious.

| Proteus was slightly confused himself, but not from the effects of the attack since he had fallen asleep in mid-attack. He did not remember using the move, but looking around at the wreckage told him what the oshawott said was true. Grass was burned and still slightly on fire, though quickly dying out, a few trees were knocked over and some boulders had been broken. The gyarados was surprised to this turn of events, he was sure that he probably would not be able to pull of the move, but still came and paid for it for that little chance that he could. Lady luck seemed to be favoring him, though he did not like the resulting damage as much. "Erm...how?" | |

| "You need learn how to use the move so that it is not completely induced by rage," she replied, "It may not be the purest form of the move, but it is still just as strong. Find other sources of emotion to draw from to fuel it's power." The Oshawott looked up at the red Gyarados as she spoke, waiting for his response as she finished. | |
