Tamers Of The Beast Rp OPEN TO JOIN

It is 2013 and the world is hanging on by a thread. Most people walk around with no idea that there are people training a dragon in their homes, at the park, maybe in your own home. Some good... Some not so much. The people who are raising these beast are however in war with eachother. They fight for a precious treasure which decides the fate of the world. They call it The Burning Ember. It is not a physical object however. It is a spirit that burns within a stone, waiting to be released. If released it will flow into the tamer who opened it. If the spirit is controlled the tamer and the dragon will be able to end the war. But if this power gets out of control it will consume the tamer, the dragon, and the world.

Good: These are the people who want to end the war and bring balance to the world. They work day and night devoted to find their prize and will do what ever it takes to get their first. If you are on this side you and your dragon go through a initiation to join them. In the initiatin you will prove your loyalty, honesty, skills, trustworthiness, and if you can survive.

Evil: These are the guys who don't want the world destroyed. They want to the world to run with dragons, turning humans into dragons if they can get to The Burning Ember. They will kill every human if they can. Also they don't consider themselves as human. They believe they are offspring of the dragons. For this initiation you will have to prove how determined you are for this future.

Dragons are classified into types. The type of the dragon will be an element. Also think about it's appearance. Will it have one head or two? Can it fly through the sky or is it a ground walker who relies on steength. Will it have legs and arms or the body of a serpent? Keep in mind your dragon will start as a egg and will grow unless you want it to be small enough to fit in your palm (if it is say so in your bio)

Just wondering, is there a limit to how old the dragon can be? Does it have to be a hatchling or can it be older?

No limit but you have to start as a hatchling unless you wanna already be on a side when you start

So there's a binary good and evil system. Huh.
What about people who have goals separate to the 'good' and 'evil' guys?
Example: A character that wishes to allow all of humanity the powers of dragon taming, and believes (perhaps falsely) that the burning ember will enable this? (IE: My character should I decide to join this)
