Now, onto the plot:

It's been almost a year and the sky is still dark. The ash and fallout block out the sun and the blue sky with it. Ever since the terrible days, when demons had poured out of the ground and thousands of angels filled the sky, the Earth had been like this. When the demons had first appeared, magic flowed into our world, with many otherworldly beings coming out of hiding. Some sided with the demons, other with the angels, but hardly any held concern for us. The angels had been more focused on containment of Hell's forces than protection, a strategy that would result in countless human casualties. As the fighting spread across the globe, it became obvious that conventional weaponry could not be used against the clashing forces, and entire nations would fall into anarchy and destruction.

The war would finally climaxed with the Fall of Los Angeles, the single most destructive battle in human history. The 'City of Angels' was practically leveled by the intense fighting, and it appeared to be a last stand by the angels. After a week, less than one percent of the city's human population remained alive, and the forces of Heaven were seen retreating from the ruins. Fearing the massive demon presence, the remaining American government authorized a preemptive nuclear strike on the demonic army, with the ensuring blast apparently wiping out Hell's forces there. Similar scorched earth tactics were soon adopted by other governments, but as a consequence of the multiple nuclear detonations, fallout and ash began to fill the atmosphere. Small concentrations of humans still exist, but nearly all unified nations are gone as humanity begins its slow spiral into destruction.

Recently, there have been rumors. In the small villages and settlements still left of the human race, there are now whispers of a place known as the Sanctuary. A place protected by some type of magic, with those inside free of the toxic air of the outside world. Many have wandered, trying to find this place, to know if it truly exists; few have made it alive. Some doubt the safety of this rumored city, as fragments of the demon armies still wander the world, decimated by nuclear attacks and their inability to return to Hell.

Of more concerning matters, something dark is rumored to be forming in Los Angeles. Something that even the demons themselves fear. Many have lost contact with the small settlements in the surrounding the area and all scouting parties sent have never returned. So who are you in this decimated and despair ridden world?

History:Amnesia. She cant say her memory, but this is what happened..
She was a normal angel, in heaven, watching down on the people living. She had to participate in the war, and she had her wings removed in some freak accident when fighting a demon. She had her wings cut off, and she covered the spot where they had been ripped out with wrap-bandages. Then the nuke struck. She lost her memory of anything else.
Abilities/Weapons: Magic that can move the ground and such./EARTH MAGIC. she can use  the earth to battle or make cover.
Other:I said almost all.. But she doesnt like to use her powers. She can use them good, but she isnt TOO good. She's a novice at them.

Okay Pichu, let's take a look. (Sorry in advance if anything I say here offends you in any way.) First, the whole amnesia thing just screams 'Mary Sue' and also seems like an excuse to be lazy and not write a history. At the very least, explain her past before she lost her memory. Next, as I said to bronze, an angel's age should be labeled as Immortal, followed by their physical age; trying to keep things consistent. Another thing, why doesn't she have wings? If she's an angel, she should have been born with them. Lastly, could you evaluate on her magic abilities. Like what her capabilities are and how skilled she is with it, etc. If you follow my suggestions here and make the edits, you should be good.

Appearance (pictures allowed): David is a rather slim nineteen year old of average height (5'9"). He has short brown hair which is sloppily cut, courtesy of his barber (himself) and dark brown eyes. He generally wears short sleeved clothing (either white or black, depending on whether it's summer or winter respectively) and tends to prefer shorts.

Affiliation(i.e. the Sanctuary, Nomad, Hell, Heaven, etc.): Nomad

Personality(Optional): David is a contemplative individual, one who values thinking about his actions before doing them. He values his ideals dearly (killing is wrong, people are inherently good and become evil because of circumstances, an absolute good and evil certainly exists, etc.), which puts him at odds with most other survivors, who have taken a rather cynical view of life. He also finds himself at odds with Demons (who seem to almost universally enjoy killing humans) and Angels (who disregard the lives of innocents when taking down their enemies). He rarely engages in combat unless it's absolutely necessary, and doesn't ever kill a sapient being unless it's in the heat of the moment.

History: Before the apocalypse, David Gallant was living with his mother, job-hunting four hours a day and playing video games most other hours of the day. He wasn't very social, and only had a few friends , though he was nonetheless satisfied with his life.

And then it all changed when demons and angels began warring with each other on Earth.

David doesn't remember much of the initial conflicts. He remembers a lot of hiding, a lot of shooting and a lot of death, but he couldn't recall a specific moment for the life of him. It all felt like a long nightmare to him, one that he wished he'd wake up from quickly. He doesn't even remember how his mother died, and he was right there with her.

Eventually, the conflicts slowed. The world around David looked like it came straight out of a zombie film, what with the corpses and the occasional abnormal being with a taste for flesh. He'd found himself a small group of survivors to hole up with, and while he often found himself at odds with his fellow survivors due to his (overly?) idealistic view of the world, David nonetheless felt safe with his comrades.

Three days prior to present day, David voluntarily left his group when they decided to ambush another group and steal their supplies. He brought with him a backpack with some supplies, his pistol, his scissors and nothing else.

After an unfortunate incident involving a four-legged demon, he's now left with only his pistol and scissors.

Abilities/Weapons: He has a pair of rusty scissors and a Beretta M9 with four magazines (one of which is inside the gun), which makes for 60 bullets in total. He is fairly good at using his pistol, but he's at his best when running away from conflicts rather than taking part.

I'm going to clarify the first three in the Dictionary/Encyclopedia soon, so just wait for me to update that stuff (probably tomorrow). The RP is going to be set in the Western United States, but thing's will eventually focus in on Los Angeles. And to answer the last question, it's because I'm a boss like that! /shot

Appearance: Janzen wears a light grey suit and dress pants, along with a blue undershirt. Below this he has a black and grey uniform that affiliates him with the former 1st Angelic Army. Around his neck is a pendent with a cross on it; another sign of his loyalty to Heaven. Janzen is relatively short for an angel, standing at only 5 feet 5 inches. He has short, black hair and eyes that appear to be black from a distance, but are actually dark brown. Coming out of his back are two large wings, a normal trait of angels.

Affiliation: Heaven; The Sanctuary.
Personality: Going to be Roleplayed.
History: A warrior of Heaven, Janzen fought on the front lines of the second conflict between Heaven and Hell. Serving in the 3rd Angelic Army along with his sister Aneta, a healing magic specialist, he fought under the Archangel Uriel in the western United States. As conflict between the two transformed into a bloody stalemate that dragged on for two and a half years, entire civilizations were wiped out by the fighting, with Earth's governments unable to do anymore than watch from the sidelines. As both side's resources began to run low, what was later known as the Fall of Los Angeles ended with the defeat of the 3rd Angelic Army by demon forces. It was at this battle where Janzen was flung into a skyscraper by a demon and presumed dead by his comrades. When he awoke one week later, only Hell's forces remained in the razed, burning city. Almost captured by a group of demons, he was able to evade them, fleeing the city. When he was several kilometers outside the suburbs, a loud, whistling noise pierced the air and a large object passed through the sky over him towards the 'City of Angels'. Not thinking too much of it, he continued flying along, until a shock wave knocked him out of the air. After smashing into the ground, he got up and looked back, seeing a large mushroom cloud over the destroyed city. Deciding it was best to not stay in the area, he headed south, continuing along until he came across a human settlement known as The Sanctuary. After almost being attacked by some rather pissed off guards, he was let into the small city, although under constant watch. Wanting to find out what happened to his sister and the rest of Heaven's forces, he has been frequently leaving The Sanctuary for long periods of time recently.
Abilities/Weapons: Janzen conceals plenty of blessed knives on his person, mostly in sheaths attached to the inside of his overcoat. Specializing, in fire magic, he can transfer heat to the blades, generating holy flames around them, to be thrown at enemies or for close range combat. Although he cannot directly form fireballs, he is capable of gathering heat energy into his hands or feet to use in melee situations.

Well, I've updated the Encyclopedia enough for us to start. I'm going to go put up the RP thread soon. Pichu and Bronze, we'll be starting without you two, but once you make the revisions and stuff, you can join in. Before I put up the topic, I want to ask, do people want a posting order or not?

I would say a Post as needed basis would be ok, like maybe don't get too ahead of the others perhaps?

I'm with Kat on this one. A posting order would do nothing but impede progress.
That said, I think that to avoid spam posts, there should be a minimum post length. Posting order is good for full on sites, but people should be able to know when it's appropriate for them to post instinctively, or something like that.

I'm waiting for Kat to post so that I can insert my character into somebody's mess while making it feel organic.
In other words, I'm procrastinating. Sorry about that. Reading Fallout: Equestria and other FiMFics is eating up a lot of my time, as is my search for a part-time job and my attempts to talk my mom out of taking me to Bangkok.
