Interdimensional Roleplay Main Topic

The wind blew through the grassy clearing, and yet nothing reacted to it. No white clouds in the sky moved, no blades of grass shuffled, and no trees shook in the breeze. Near the middle of the clearing a young woman sat in the grass, looking around at a few flowers found in the area. She looked up at the sky with a look of almost longing for something, before standing up. As much as she would have loved to stay in the area, she knew that more people would be coming and everything would begin once more. Her body started to shimmer and fade, disappearing from sight and leaving the clearing empty once more.

Aaron blinked his eyes open a few times, feeling himself lying against something face-down. What...what's going on? Where am I? He thought to himself, slowly lifting his head up. He felt somewhat tired, his body being slow and almost acting as if it wanted to sleep. Managing too push himself into a sitting position, he looked around at the surroundings, trying to figure out where he was.
"Wherever it is, it's definitely not New York..." The Mage muttered to himself. It was a completely empty field, with grass and patches of flowers in certain spots. Surrounding the clearing on all sides were trees, reaching far into the sky and looking almost impossible to pass through with the amount of them and how close they were together. Well that's something. Better do inventory... he stood up and reached into his pockets, feeling around. Luckily he had his taser and a set of his lock picks with him, and reaching around to the back of his pants revealed his empty Luger. Right, so I have everything. Now how the hell did I get here! and where's everyone else? He turned towards the trees, looking over at them and not even noticing the other living bodies of people nearby in the clearing.

Shizu's bright blue eyes gently fluttered open, the young female remaining still for a few moments to glance around at the surrounding area. She was lay on her side and so only had a limited view, though from what she saw in front of her, she deduced that behind her would be more or less the same. She lay in what seemed to be a grassy meadow, with small trees and flowers occasionally breaking up the landscape. Closing her eyes again for another few moments, Shizu listened. Though she could feel a breeze against her pale skin, she could not hear a single rustle from the grass or the trees around her. Methodically turning to another of her senses, she detected the faint reiatsu or spiritual pressure of at least one other being. The reiatsu signature was so small however, that she deemed the area safe and slowly pushed herself up and onto her feet.

A strange boy lay in the field as well, he had a strange green goggles, strange brown cloak, and a strange bronze claw. His eyes flitted open to see the brilliant blue sky and white puffy statues in the sky. The clouds weren't moving, was his first thought. Am...am I trapped in Dimensio Twatts world? was his first question. His body felt heavy and tired, Was the fight really that tiring? he wondered. He simply stared at the motionless sky, not getting up. He was tired of fighting both the heroes and the true villains. This place seemed peaceful enough, maybe if he was quiet enough, the hero that stuck him there, or believed to have stuck him there, would forget about him and leave him alone. He heard movement slightly farther away, but assumed that he would no be bothered if he just lay there. If whatever-it-was was looking for a fight, it wasn't about to get one from him. All he had was a claw as a hand that's only good for convenient everyday use and the only defense he had was scratching and the power cannon that would definitely shatter his arm. He would rather NOT shatter his arm, especially in the unknown place he was in. He waited for the moving to seem as if it was moving away, then he would get up and search the area.

Though she was now standing on her own two feet instead of lying down on the grass, Shizu wasn't really that tall. She held the size and stature of an eleven year old, and looked the part too. That was, if you ignored her odd clothes and her eyes. Her eyes gave her away. Anyone who looked into them could tell she was much more intelligent than a mere eleven year old.

Reaching a hand to her side, she patted the sword that was still safely hidden beneath her long white coat. Despite waking up in an unfamiliar place, it had not been stolen from her. Whoever was doing this, that was their first mistake. A quick flick of her other hand and a small group of black feathers materialised in front of her. Clenching her hand together as if crushing something, the feathers then disappeared, disintegrating as quickly as they had initially appeared. Her powers were still there. Mistake two.

Glancing around once more, Shizu realised that she had been lay with her back to a large tree. It appeared to shadow her form, hiding her from the view of most others. Now that she was up, she could also sense the weak reiatsu of at least three others. Judging from the weakness of them though, none of them would be a problem for her should they decide to become hostile.
Glancing up at the sky, Shizu's cool blue eyes scanned the unmoving clouds.

The man opened his eyes once more, the noise seemed to just sit right back where it was. He knew he would not be able to wait it out. Off to my death! he thought optimistically. He sat up to see a tree in front of him, to its side was a small girl that looked about eleven. What's a little girl doing here? he wondered. He began to wonder if maybe he was not actually in a different world, maybe he was struck by another hero's attack, one that teleported him away from the fight. He looked around, no village, no parents, the girl was alone. He wondered if he should continue playing his part as a villain, should he try to terrify the girl or could he actually relax and be himself for once without having to worry about his imminent death if he were to act nice? He decided to approach the girl, it was only a child so what harm could it-no...he should not think like that. For all he knew, the child could be enrolled in the "Hero" school. He decided to approach her, if she really was from the Hero school, she would recognize him as a villain, "Uh...hi?" he spoke to her.

Shizu blinked as she heard a voice behind her. It belonged to one of those people she had previously detected. Even as close as he was now, he had a weak reiatsu. She assumed from this that he wasn't just trying to hide a more powerful spiritual pressure.
Turning around, her blue gaze's focus rested on Nick. He was no arrancar, or a shinigami for that matter... so what was he? Just a human? It was possible, she guessed.
"Hello," she replied, feeling as though that was the response he assumed he would get. Her voice was soft and quiet, no louder than a small whisper as the man in front of her was sufficiently close enough to hear her at such a volume.

Aaron winced at the addition of voices to the area. He had still been looking out in the distance, checking for anywhere to go, and hadn't even bothered to see if anyone else was up. Turning around in an attempt to find where the voices were coming from, he eventually noticed a tree a bit closer in the clearing where two people were. One seemed to be a young girl, wearing a long, white coat with some black on the edges. The other looked to be a boy about his own age, wearing some goggles and some sort of robotic arm. I should probably try and avoid them, they might be the cause of this...
...or maybe they're friendly, and you're about to walk out on some of the only people who can help. Might as well risk it. Aaron sighed and casually started to walk over to the duo, yawning slightly.
"Uh, hey. Nice to meet you two. Neither of you would happen to know where we are, would you?" He greeted, getting straight to the point of the matter. He wasn't looking to waste any time, he had things to do and people he wanted to get back to and check on.

"Hello," was all she had said. No reaction, no other comment, nothing. Nick turned when he heard another voice, "Uh, hey. Nice to meet you two. Neither of you would happen to know where we are, would you?" He saw another boy his age, he seemed to be friendly. It seemed he was teleported here by the same Hero from the way he spoke...or was he just a lost civilian of a different town? He looked at the guy a bit longer, he seemed to be a normal person. Heroes would have a get up with capes and tights usually, while the scripted villains usually had some kind of menacing look, which he didn't exactly fit, but his claw made him match. He knew not of how true villains appeared, since he had never really met one. Last he remembered he had been falling towards an ocean as a flying super hero had picked him up and decided to drop him off there. He shivered at the thought of the water, and decided to speak, or he was never going to get anywhere in finding answers, "No...name yourself please, both of you. Villain or Hero? Scripted or not?" He had decided to just outright ask since he would never get anywhere trying to beat so far around the bush that the question would fly right over their heads, besides, he wasn't even clever enough to do such a thing.

Aaron paused at the boy's response, his jaw hanging open slightly aha very confused expression made it's way onto his face.
"I'm sorry, what?" He questioned, before deciding he should probably answer. Wouldn't want to piss off bionic commando here...
"Name, right. Aaron, Aaron Shibashi. I prefer to think of myself as neutral if you will." The Mage started to explane. He wasn't a villain in his terms, but he wasn't exactly a hero either, running around and saving lives on a whim. Besides, he hated taking sides. Once you took a side it was hard to change if something else came up.
"Scripted? What is this, a TV show? It's really something if it is, take a bunch of strangers and put them somewhere with no memory." He muttered, looking around the area as if searching for something. That something just so happened to be hidden cameras in case his guess was right.

A second person had walked over and Shizu blinked nonchalantly. This one had been easier to detect though his reiatsu wasn't normal... there was something more than a little odd about it despite the fact that it was weak compared to her own.

"Uh, hey. Nice to meet you two. Neither of you would happen to know where we are, would you?"

It seemed no one really knew what was going on here. Perhaps they really were in the same boat as her. Glancing at this new person, Shizu realised that he too was nothing but a mere human. But that reiatsu signature... it bothered her.
Silently deciding to keep an eye on that one, her attention was drawn back to the 'conversation' when the first person spoke once more.

"No...name yourself please, both of you. Villain or Hero? Scripted or not?"

Villain? Hero? Did humans really designate themselves into such groups like that? She was pretty sure they didn't. Aaron appeared to cover everything she might have said -other than her own name. She found it rather rude that this guy would ask without revealing his own name first- and so she remained silent for the moment to listen to the reply.

Nick had thought the other boy as a civilian, while the girl would be either Hero or Villain. She could have just been a villain suspecting him to be a hero or a hero thinking him a villain. He would not risk letting them know and the hero beating him to a bloody pulp, for he is not allowed to fight back unless scripted to. He decided to lie about his name, since his information was released to the public by his oh so helpful sponsors. He spoke and introduced himself, using a different name instead of his own to run a lesser risk of being recognized, "Ah so you're a civilian, I'm Sorren, do you happen to know the way to Utopia? I should really get back given the current situation we're in..."
He would have to act like a hero for now, and a hero would want to get back. He would just make a wide U-Turn around and away from them once he was pointed in Utopia's direction. However it would be a problem if he were to be offered to be brought there personally...then he would just have to convince them he can make it on his own, or run like hell. Either one was good.

Shizu's blue eyes watched intently as the odd male with goggles spoke once more. Her gaze unwavering, she analysed his body, posture and speech. There was a nervousness there... not out of fear of her or the other person... no. That nervousness was the result of something else.
"Liar," she said simply. Her voice was quiet, as it had been before, however despite the accusation there seemed to be no hostility held with in it. More like... she was a little amused. Or perhaps she really was just an emotionless person. Either way.

Wind? That's strange. I don't remember being outside. Slowly putting his hand to his face, Janzen stood up. Yawning, he unfolded his wings from his back and looked around, noticing that he was in what appeared to be a grassy clearing. Where in the name of The Lord am I? I haven't seen this many living plants in one area since the war started. Hearing what sounded like voices, he suddenly froze, then began looking around for their source.

Okay, he thought to himself. I can't be sure if they're friendly or not, since this doesn't appear to be anywhere in The Sanctuary. I'd better not take any unnecessary risks. After quickly checking himself, he realized he still had his knives on him. I've got my weapons, good. Glancing around the clearing again, he spotted what appeared to be three humans talking to each other by a tree. Beginning to walk over to the group while still keeping his knives ready, he called out to them in a rather casual voice. "Good afternoon. Or is it morning here? Would any of you happen to know what this place is?"

Everything was just getting even more confusing for Aaron, and given what he usually dealt with that was a bit of an accomplishment on whoever caused it's part.
"I don't think there are any Utopias, nowhere is really a perfect city these days." He responded, filling time in order to think about the girl's comment. She seems to know that he was lying. There was no hostility, it was more of a calm statement as if he he knew she was right. Maybe she's a Mage, Claudia was able to pick up on that kind of stuff. He thought to himself.
"What makes you say that?" He asked Shizu curiously, wondering what her answer would be if there was one. Hearing yet another voice, he turned and noticed another guy coming towards them, except this one had some sort of wings on his back.
"Join the club, we're trying to figure that out." He responded casually, starting to get a mild headache from everything.

Hooly craap she knows i'm lying... He thought, Does she know I'm a villain? He remained silent as another strange person joined the club of confusion. His thought process came to a halt as the other boy said there was no Utopia.
"Have you been living under a rock the past hundred years? Utopia is the CAPITAL of the country, home of the HEROES, ring a bell?" Nick could not believe that he had not known what Utopia was. It was where all heroes were based, although he had to admit it would have been smarter to spread the heroes out but then again, everything WAS scripted. He said nothing about the girl calling him a lair, hoping his talk of Utopia would direct them away from the topic of his name.
