Why did it seem he always found himself in Philadelphia? It wasn't even his favorite city. He had had the pleasure of watching most of the East Coast cities rise from the ground over the years. From the first lonely settlement of Jamestown to the now sprawling metropolis of New York. He did like New York. It was busy, filled with people and possibilities. There was always something for him to do. Philadelphia, on the other hand, was just lukewarm.
At least it's not Detroit or, Helheim forbid... Anywhere in New Jersey.
The small black cat shivered at the very thought. Fjorlagg, The Lord of Death, the New God who's very name means "Death", padded along a concrete walk way, his small paws barely making a sound as he walked along. His whiskers twitched a bit and he sniffed the air. He was getting hungry. Where was he exactly. He looked around and recognized a few buildings. He couldn't miss the young ones walking all around him with their bags on their backs. Some seemed happy, others depressed, still others simply absorbed in there books.
Ah yes, college. Not quite what the Greeks had in mind, I think, but it does the job. Continuing to follow his nose, Fjor wandered about the campus. The smell was getting stronger. It smelled like... No... Could it be? He sniffed again. Yes! It was tuna! Wonderful, wonderful tuna! Fjor absolutely hated it when his form's urges overtook him like this, butting could not be helped. He began to sprint towards the intoxicating smell.
He approached a large, square building with many windows, still following his nose, he hopped up on a window ledge and there it was. Sitting inside some young girls bag was a beautiful tuna sandwich. Fjor licked his lips. He stared at the girl as he plotted a way to get his lunch, his black tail swaying slowly back and forth.

| Lexia shook his hand with a finely grip, "Nice to meet you too Dan." She let a small smile play on he lips, his name was Dan, how many 'Dans' has she meet? Too many to count that's for sure but it fit the teenager well enough. The woman enjoy having a less used name, it makes it easier to prevent any confusion. Heck, back in school she once had 4 Jadias in her class, it was so confusing, you can't really call one without calling them all.
That aside, Lexia balanced her basket on her hip and plucked a bottle of ketchup of the top shelf, dropping it into her basket. She glanced over at the guy, "Are you sure? It wouldn't bother me in the least." She called as dropped a small bottle of juice with the other goodies. She looked around, trying to spot and spices, before acknowledging that it's probably in the next aisle.
"Come here often, not to this dollar store. I prefer the one closer to where I'm currently staying, it has more options than this place." She mused, walk down the length of the aisle before turning into the next one beside it.

| Syrian felt faint as Rhea was promptly manhandled by her roommate and dragged into the kitchen.
"Uh, mind letting go of my, eh, cousin, Katlyn?" Syrian asked weakly, putting an emphasis on the word 'cousin' to cue the goddess in on the situation. "She, uh, doesn't like to be touched. Eh, especially by strangers," Syrian said, walking over to the two and giving a wide-eyed pleading expression to the goddess as she pulled them apart.
She hoped Rhea would just go along with it, as Syrian hadn't had the longest time to come up with an explanation before Katlyn had burst in on them.
"She's just going to be staying with me while her parents are out of town," Syrian repeated, catching Rhea up on her story. She glanced at Rhea again. "She won't be much trouble; she'll just stay in my room."
