Quest For The Joy Ribbon

Jake went to Black Mist Mountain with Crash to complete a job to find a Joy Ribbon.  "I wonder where it could be."  He said, tired from the journey to get there.

Crash nodded at Jake, and saw him take off to attack the two pokemon. He turned to his opponents, a Mawile and a Sneasel. "One of them has a speed advantage on me...the other has some high defense.." He thought about it for a bit, then decided on a strategy. He jumped over the Mawile and punched through the air, hitting the Sneasel with a wave of sonic-speed air. It was an instant KO, and once the Mawile saw that it's friend had been knocked out, it tried to defend itself with it's giant mouth. Crash used a Hi Jump Kick to knock the mouth high into the air, exposing the Mawile, and quickly punched it into a wall, knocking it out as well.

Jake finished off the Weavile with Ember, knocking it out.  "Well, the Stairs reappeared!"  He said, walking up to them.

Crash walked up the stairs behind Jake and laughed, "You should've seen the look on that Mawile's face!" He imitated the look with wide eyes and an exaggerated ":O" look. He tightened the bandanna around his arm again, making sure it was tightly secured, then walked the last few steps to the next floor. Inside there were plenty of boulders, but not another pokemon in sight.

Jake saw an item on the ground, but didn't see it too closely.  "You can have whatever's right there."  He said, pointing to the item.

Crash picked up the item and derp face'd. "This is....another Joy Ribbon?!" He looked at Jake with a blank expression, "I guess I'll wear it then, since we already have one for the mission!" He grinned as he tied the band around his neck, making it look more like a scarf than a ribbon. He pointed at the tunnel, "We might be facing enemies, so we should watch out."

"I just want to see if I can get a Joy Ribbon, too!"  Jake derp face'd like Crash.  Jake looked around and found an item on the ground.

Crash laughed, "Bahahaha, nice try Jake, I guess I'm just naturally lucky!" He stuck his toungue out playfully and continued to the next area.

Jake headed out to the next area before Crash, and found a few Pokemon.  "Let's do this!"

Crash was assaulted by two poochyena that bit him and scratched at him until he was forced to the ground. "Jake, watch out behind you!" a Spearow flew in and pecked at Jake. Crash kicked the two dogs off and hit one with compressed air, the attacked the other one with a quick kick to the neck. They both knocked out, and Crash went to help Jake.

The Tepig got pecked, then used Ember and burned the Spearow.  He then used Tackle, knocking it out.  "That was too easy."

"Well yeah, but we're almost to the top, it should be getting harder from here..." He tripped over something small and fell flat on his face. "Ouch! What the heck was- oh, an item!" He picked it up and put it into his bag.

Jake didn't see what the item was, but he kept moving until he saw an item, too.  "Yay!  Another item!"

Crash kept moving along until he found the next set of stairs, "We're almost to the end! Then we can hand in this job! This is great! Just don't lose that ribbon, ok?" He chuckled a bit and came to the top of the stairs, where there were tons of pokemon, guarding the stairs to the next room. His wonder map showed him the entire floor for once, but it was crawling with pokemon. "Jake, there's about 5 pokemon in this room, and there's more in the others! We gotta hurry or-" He was cut off by the sound of charging pokemon.

Jake saw the 2 Poochyena, the Spearow, the Mawile, and the Archen coming at the two explorers.  "I got the Spearow and the Archen!"  He said, using Ember on the Archen and the Spearow.

Crash nodded and jumped into the air, flipping over the Poochyenas and confusing them. They turned around and tried to bite him, but Crash dodged and kicked one into the wall. The other one bit into his neck and knocked him to the ground. "Jake, behind you!" The Archen used Stone Edge on the Tepig. Crash used all his strength to push the Poochyena straight into the air, then forced the vacuum waves to pull it down into the ground, knocking it out.
