RUI VS. HARVEY
On the last post:

Harvey was silent, "You guys get a free day, do whatever you want and just stay out of trouble. Teacher needs to go do some business.." with that he walked to the direction of the school, where the girl had walked. He had sensed something wrong about her...and he was going to find out just what. He couldn't report someone just for suspicion... he walked to where he heard some voices and stumbled upon a gruesome sight.

Last Time on Naruto Roleplay....:

Rui just blinked, and put away her tantos. ".....................Lowly" She muttered into arm, as she took position for her Forgotten Bamboo Art, 4th Fire. The Fake laughed at her, "What are you going to do? Cut me with a Bamboo sword? Hahahahahaha!! Come-on then! Try it!" He let out a horrible laugh, and thumped his broad chest, daring her to strike at him. She concentrated at his throat, and fell into the familiar rhythms of the Fourth Style, the man's eyes widened as her Bamboo sword took on a fiery sheen. "..............................Idiot." She simply stated as she severed his head from its shoulders, spraying the blackboard behind him in blood. She wiped her face, staring down at the body for a moment, before flicking her sword, and cleaning the smooth and rounded blade with a piece of cloth from his body. However, she just noticed the blown out windows, and the smoke coming from the wood around his feet, and shook her head, this was going to be easy to spot. She then turned hearing a noise, and saw a man staring in shock at the scene.

And now for the present:

Harvey watched the head roll with surprise, he didn't seem that shocked though. "Knew you were bad news," he spoke "Just didn't think that you would decapitate someone. I'm going to have to bring you to the hokage, are you going to come quietly?" he asked. He stared intently at Rui, his red eyes seemed like they were flaring and the scythe on his back seemed to grow cold against his back as his hand was places on a lock that he could unlock with a flick of the finger. He was cautious incase the girl wanted to attack him, he was surprised to see that the girl was actually younger looking than him. He shrugged the thought away and prepared for an answer.

Rui lookd at the man, and pulled down her face mask, showing her mouth set in a frown. She loweredhr bamboo blade, and rested it aganst the floor. She lookd him up and down, gauging his worth in a fight. Shthn snorted,piced up her blade, resting it on her shoulder. "................No-on was to find out.............But.........." She glared at him, flaring her Chakra, "...................I'll fight anyway.............." She promptly took a stance with her Bamboo Blade, facing him squarely. Invoking the Thrid Style of Forgotten Bamboo Art, Earth.

Harvey reacted just as she took on a threatening stance(Better? :P), he flicked open his case and grabbed the scythe as the case clattered onto the floor. He twirled it and held it so it faced the girl, the room seemed to grow a bit colder as Harvey spoke, "I guess i'll have to knock you out and drag your body to the hokage's feet." He gripped his scythe tighter, his hands were then seemingly glued to it with ice, this prevented his weapon being knocked from his hand, since the scythe wasn't easy to grip especially when sweating. He couldn't tell how strong the girl was, but he kept his chalkra at a normal level. He rushed towards Rui without another word and took a test swipe, trying to see what she would do.

Rui, Just Raised her Let Arm blocking the strike, wincing as a faint line of blood was drawn, and her clothing was cut. "..................Hmph." She then punched out with her right fist, a fair amount of force behind it, and her fist having the hardness of rock. "...............3rd Style...... Earth...." She muttered under her breath while doing so.

Harvey pushed his scythe(FOR ONCE I DIDN'T PUT R) against the ground, it slid upwards due to the curve of the scythe, but managed to push himself away from Rui's attack. He twisted the scythe under the ice a bit and made it hook around Rui's body, threatening to slice her in half. He was confident that she would avoid most of the attack though, he knew she was strong and not stupid. He might be able to knock her out without killing the girl. If he had not been so focused on the battle he would have wondered how the girl could handle killing someone in such a way, had the man done something incredibly wrong to her at some point? As Harvey was flung backwards, his grip on the scythe caused it to fly back with him and for the blade to rabidly grow closer to the girl's waist.


Rui knew what was going on, and Quickly switched her Style, Muttering under her breath at that time, "................First Style.......Wind." And Leaped up with sudden agility, and speed. Twisting in mid-air she landed away from the scythe, and lifted her blade at him, sending seveal small gusts of wind around her, and at him. "......................Anything else?" If anything, it seemed she was kinda bored with what was going on, like it was no trouble to dodge.

Harvey smirked, he crashed into the wall, but it didn't hurt him. He broke off one of his hands from his scythe and created a hand signal with his hand. The air seemed to glisten and the room grew even more colder. The glittering particles grew bigger and became more attracted to him. In a flash he was covered in a light ice armor, he was cautious about the whirlwinds so he had armored himself up, "Ice encasement, light, me." he uttered. The armor was tough and blended with his hair and reflected the lights on the ceiling, he hoped that this would cause a bit of blindness to his opponent. He moved foreward once more, past the whirlwinds, making sure not to touch them in case they were land mines, and towards the girl once more. He arced his scythe to attack, which had also gotten an improvement from the ice. It's end had become double bladed and was a lot sharper. Not to mention it might cause a bit of frostbite if it hit.


Rui was blinded by the sudden lights, but her training, before, taught her o steady her breathing, andhearng the subtle whoosh of the sycthe, leaned to the side, allowing to harmlessly pass by her. he leaped back again, finding a sure footing, and then returning her blade to the 'sheathed' postion, muttered under her breath, "..................Fourth Style..... Fire." And Unleashed a massive slice across the room, full of Chakra enhanced flames. She shook from the sudden realease of inner Chakra, feeling it sink just a bt lower. She promptly switched to a different style immeditly after the slash, and went back to the first Style.

The white haired man was protected from the slash by the armor, but the armor melted instantly. He huffed, he never liked fire. Was the girl of fire nature? He hoped not, she would be the worst opponent for him if she was. He then realized something and thought of himself as a major moron. He was water, water beats fire. He would have face palmed if he wasn't too busy conjuring up another Jutsu. This one took water particles out of the air once more, the water floated around in orbs before they were launched quickly towards the girl, threatening to encase her in water, "Liquid ensnarement..." he mumbled. (Such an original name...)

Rui Laughed at the Water, andswitched her Fighting Style again. "...............Second Style..... Water..." And Forced her will against the droplets, halting them, and forcing them into the floor. She laughed, and with much grace, took a stance with both hands on her hilt, and faced him directly, giving a slight smirk, then leaped at him, her body movng fluidily.

He just barely avoided her attack, he ment to do just that. He reached out with his scythe, this time he was moving faster and making a hooking motion around her neck. He stopped though, the blade inched from her throat, "Give up," he suggested, "It would be easier on both of us." Just in case though, he bit at his finger a bit and caused it to bleed, he was doing a summoning jutsu. Wolves erupted from the ground with echoes of howls and snarls as they ran in circles around the victim and surrounded her. The wolves were made of ice, but were too cold for fire to melt in a matter of seconds. They snarled once more and glared at the girl, knowing not to attack. Harvey hoped he wouldn't have to destroy the school in order to apprehend the girl...

Rui Snarled at the impasse. "...................Not yet." She devled quickly back into her styles, and choose the Eighth. ".........Eighth Style........ Rain...." She quickly knocked away the scythe's blade, and spun, sending out water droplets like kunai, each being razor sharp on the end. After doign this, she leaped up at landed on the ceiling, and then promptly dropped down behind the wolves, facing them and their master.

A few wolves were his with the water drops, they only absorbed it, being ice and adding on to their body mass. Harvey sighed as water dropletts once more glittered around him and formed ice like armor with an icy scythe. He twirled his scythe once more before sweeping it at the air, causing a slash of air(totally didn't copy Ashe) to race towards the girl. The wolves snarled and broke apart, into two groups. One group ran to the left and one to the right, they planned to flank her if she tried to run. Harvey hated this, it was long, tiring, and restrictive considering they were on school property. He blew out a breath of air as the slash split off into three and changed to the shape of large shurikens!

Rui watched tis happen and sighed, and fell back into a lesser style, the seventh style. ".........Seventh Style..... Thunder." She fell back into the position of fire, and then slashed out rapidly, sending weaker, but a lot more of the fiery slashed, the Fire consuming te air shurikens, and engulfing the room in flames, she used this potienal bonus, to strike quickly out at several of the wolves, hoping her Hardened Flaming Bamboo Sword would do some damage to them.

The wolves howled in pain as some were struck by the attack. He growled as well, Harvey didn't enjoy watching his pets get hurt, were they even pets or were they friends or just in an alliance with him? He remembered meeting them though the man that forced him to learn these techniques. Harvey sent another gust of wind at the girl, aiming more to push her out a window than to harm her. He wanted to bring the battle outside, there was more water and wind out there. The enviorment outside would give him more of an advantage, but it also would probably help the opponent. He was confident though, in taking care of this murderer. He leaped after the wind, aiming to kick her out if the wind didn't work. The wolves that remained were at her sides, attempting to block any thoughts of dodging to the left or right. The wolves didn't have height advantage though, so the girl could risk trying to leap over them if she wanted to. Harvey just hoped that the kids had moved along on their "day off" he wondered if he would live to see them again. He shrugged it off though, of course he would live!

Rui slashed the air slice, but didn't see the kick, which send her sideways out into the schoolyard. She hit the ground with a crunch, and couldn't move suddenly for some reason. She looked down and saw somehow the kick had frozen her to the ground, jsut from the force, or jutsu she didn't know. She growledand struggled agaisnt the ice, then decided to put on the facade of giving up, seeing it as not worth the fight anymore, she quietly, burned a line throguh the ice on both sides, ready for when the Icey Man would come over to her.

"You know," Harvey called from inside, not seeing the aftermath of his attack, "You're really starting to piss me off!" he slammed his scythe's point into the wall and swung out like he was on a vine(I swear I gave him a scythe just so i could have him do this...). He glared at the girl and noticed she was stuck with the ice, "You finally give up?" he asked. He kept a distance from her, still a bit cautious. He leaned on the end of his scythe that had beaten him in the ribs so many times when he was younger. He didn't look too happy, his Icy armor didn't melt under the cloudy sky with occasional sun. He waited for an answer as his wolves leaped out the window and surrounded her once more, they were weak, but determined to help their master that had summoned them to fight this person.


Rui sighed seeing he was wise enough not to come and gloat over her fallen body, broke the weakened ice, and srpung up, slicing the wolves in front of her in one broadsided slash, and spinning out, her right foot, having the elemental fire chakra on it, into the ones behind her. With none of the wolves left around her, she stood up, a rolled her shoulders, trying to work out the minor chilliness inside them. "..........................No." She answered his question with one word, and took her original stance from the beginning of the fight, and let out a small breath, now realizing that she can't get way from the fight without at least disabling this man.

Harvey huffed with annoyance, he twirled his scythe in a large arc and sent several silces of air towards the girl. He ran behind the attack with his scythe slightly altered with ice, he had changed the ice so it was like a spear with the scythe on the side. He planned to impale the girl, but not to the point of killing her. He aimed for her leg or hip, maybe keep her from running around anymore. He was angry now, the battle was TOO long and he didn't seem to be getting anywhere. He was growing impatient with the fight, he wanted to make progress. Whenever he thought he would finally make some the girl would pull off something weird with her sword and block his attack. He had trapped her several times and yet she still managed to slip from his hands. It was annoying. Harvey still had his ice armor, thankfully but he wanted to keep it on as long as possible, everytime it got hit somewhere the ice would shatter and he would have to use his chalkra to renew it. He wanted to save it for better and stronger attacks the girl might have in her box-o-attacks.

Rui flared her flame on her Bamboo Katana, taking out the air slashes once more. And then simply went low under the simple thrust, and sliding to the left, dodging the incoming scythe blade as well. She struck out at Harvey's leg, hoping to wound him, and prevent his coming after her, she didn't want to kill this guy, he wan't her target, but he didn't seem to understand this one bit. ".......Hidden Windbreaker...." Her muttered, using another unique Jutsu, causing a vacum to appear around the blade, snuffing out he flames but increasing its speed, becuase of the no wind resitance that it suddenly had.

Harvey cried out as his leg was wounded. (FINALLY A HIT) He used his scythe to push himself away from the girl. Red liquid leaked from his leg as he put his hand over it to stop the bleeding. He leaned on his scythe as he ripped off part of his shirt and bandaged the wound. He turned his attention away from the wound and glared at the girl, he wasn't furious for her wounding him, but for holding back. He knew that she could have killed him right there, but she didn't. He was confused, and with confusion came anger. He used his summoning jutsu once more. Ice wolves leaped from the floor and snarled, they seemed to be even more angrier than before! Harvey forced himself to use his wounded leg as he ran for the girl once more, this time sending water orbs toward the girl along with the air slashes and his spear-scythe.

Rui growled back at the wolves and the man's appearent insistance, and want to die. She twirled her Sword, wiping the vaum about, taking the water, and air slashes, a air slash cutting her cheeck, and another on her left shoulder. She grimiced by it, suddenly pushed back by his fury, attempting to find a good-foot hold she found none, and fell back to one knee, warding off the Wolves, and dealing with Harvey's attacks.

The wolves leaped foreward in an attempt to bite at the girl's skin, it was an all out attack as Harvey joined the fray with the wolves. Harvey made sweeping arcs as he tried to cut the girl or maybe jab her with the spear end. The wolves leaped at her in attempt to pin her down, (Ef that cheesey crud i was about to post) lashing out with their ice claws and trying to dig their cold jaws into her skin. Harvey was growing tired, and wanted to end this quickly wether he was the one who won or not. He despised long fustrating battles. He yelled as with each swipe, turning in circles as each swipe's momentum powered the next swipe.

Rui was continously beat back, each time, their strikes getting nearig to ending her life, she inwardly sighed, and briefly relxed her control of her Jutsus'. Then Flared Her Chakra all into the Seventh Style, Thunder. "........................Focused Thunder....." She blindly unleashed attacks, up, down, right, left, and in a uppercut once more, all with her Katana blazing away with her Chakra, the flames now twice as intense as the previous time. She fake panted, making it seem as if she was on her last-legs, and would be easy to finish off/ knockout. Preparing, if he fell for it or not, a nasty little surprise.

"You give up?" he asked onve more. After the trick she played with looking defeated earlier he was still cautious. "If you give up without me having to knock you out you'll be in a lot less trouble" he added. He was leaning on his scythe more than he wanted to, and it was obvious. His leg was still bleeding and it stained his pants and armor. He was gritting his teeth as a wall of ice began to form behind him, it grew bigger until it seemed to tower over him. It seemed to be flowing in the air. He was going to use an Ice Encasement on her, his wolves had surrounded her and he could possible effect her with hypothermia but he had no choice. He was also out of breath, running low on chalkra as his wound seemed to drain energy from him. "Maybe staying up all night last night drinking wasn't such a good idea..." he mumbled.

Rui sighed again, she really hated using this, she took a deep breath of air in, conserving her supply. And completed her one handed Jutsu for 'Hidden Windbreaker.' Instantly, or near that mark, the Air was shattered, by a sudden vacum, and the Sonicboom that followed afterward, from the air rushing back in. She then got up, favoring her right side, and ignited her blade once more, Her Chakra was at 1/4 the norm for her, and she couldn't continue this much longer. She rushed at him, launching several fake attacks, to trty and fake him out, then dove straight in with a all or nothing blunt stab to his chest.

Harvey was too busy covering his ears to avoid ANY of the attacks. The wolves screamed as they shattered from the field. Their icy bits scattered the field leaving glass like shards tha were as sharp as well, glass. Harvey stumbled backwards a bit as he was hit by the bamboo sword after all the other attacks. His wolves dying in such a way had shocked him from moving like a deer in headlights. He fell backwards and tossed his spear-scythe at the girl in a last attempt to knock her out WITH THE BUTT OF THE SCYTHE.

Rui felt her Katana hit him, then she felt a impact on her chest as well, she hit the ground again, this not faking,as she hit it pretty hard. She let out a small groan of pain when she hit the ground, and struggled to get up, one rib cracked from the blow, several of the Ice shards impaled in her back as well from the fall. She looked at him, it seemed that both of them were dead tired, almost out of Chakra, and bleeding in several places.She grimiced, and pulled one of the shards out, throwing it on the ground. "....................Truce?" Shesaid in anormal voice at him, athough it was full of pain.

Harvey was unable to move, at all. He was weary of the girl and huffed, "F**k yeah..." the glass was digging into his back as well, "So if I try to bring my wolves in again to HELP this time you won't kill them like that right, or at all for that matter?" he asked. He planned on using the last of what he had left to spare on summoning a single wolf to go and get a first aid or something. He hated hearing thier screeches of pain more than the noise the girl had made. He felt attatched to the wolves. He wasn't sure why, it wasn't like they spoke to one another or anything. He waited for an answer getting his finger ready if she agreed.


Rui sqinted at Harvey, then slowly nodded, no trusting him, but ableto at least trst the fact that he was as beat-up her. ".....................Fine...." She huffed along with the nodding, and went over to a caked rok,it got craked fromt snic-oom, an sat down, after brushing a few shards ice away, and looked seriously pissed for some odd reason. She winced and pulled out another shard from her back, having more of her blood run free, but eliminating the pain from one more soucre for a while at least.

The man sighed as he placed his palm on the ground and summoned one last wolf. There was a high pitched howl as a PUPPY came out of the summoning. The puppy looked around, wondering where it was and saw Harvey, it knew what it had to do. It scampered off as it's summoner passed out from the huge loss of chalkra. He wasn't even able to summon a full grown wolf. The puppy returned with a medical kit, he was slowly dragging it as he walked backwards in an attempt to bring the kit to his friend as soon as he could.
