Team Bodark's Adventure 1: Explore, Gather, Fight, Repeat

Mellow was excited out of her mind, grinning widely as she continued to bounce up and down, and walking forward ahead of the group, tripping over her stubby feet at times as they began to walk toward their first destination: Pecha Forest. She had heard from various people that this was one of the easiest dungeon to come to and gather things/train from and that one of the most useful berries, Pecha Berries, were abundant here. Her grin only grew wider when she remembered that this was her first exploration ever! The little dual type could practically TASTE the adventure that would come from this! Who knew what could come there and what trials they would have to overcome? Despite this, however, the Oddish felt disappointed that she was not very powerful and that her first adventure wasn't really helping anybody but the team, she was still elated at the prospect of adventure and felt that this may have been her first step to becoming a good rescuer.

Shawn was walking a bit behind, nervous at being in the wide open, knowing from experience how quickly an attack could kill them." I dont like this guys... We are wide in the open and possibly be attacked any moment"

"so true"jacky agreeded with Zorua."Let's stay close"he suggested.

"Good idea" shawn brought the group closer together. " if theres an attack split into a line, use our numbers as an advantage. Its our best weapon for now." Shawn is making sure everyone is accounted for and well. He remembers the shuppet from before, and doesnt want panic to break up their formation.

Jacky started following his team members by flying."From here,I will have a better vision of enemies"he said and kept on following htem.

"Good idea, ill climb through the trees, give the love birds some time alone." Shawn climbs a tree laughing before the other two pokemon can react.

While Jacky was flying,something got his attention and flied down to see what is it.

Mellow nodded in compliance to the ideas that her teamates proposed, her usually cheery smile a thoughtful frown. The Oddish felt slightly depressed that she was unable to be of any real use to her team at the moment, and inwardly sighed. Darn her lack of arms and her stubby feet!

"Alright, we'll do that, Shawn." Mellow agreed, before blushing in embarrassment, denying and resenting the term 'love birds' greatly. "We're not in love!" the grass type retorted hotly, narrowing her eyes in indignation. Just because she found Clive charming and cool did not make them love birds! The plant fumed for a few moments before pouting childishly, inwardly fuming. She was so indignant that she didn't notice the pokemon coming towards them until it was a few feet in front of them.

"Crap!" she said, getting in a fighting stance.

The buizel was running on all fours as he entered the forest, he lifted his head to see the evergreen leaves growing, on the deep mahogany colored trees. Just above that was the bright blue sky, he closed his eyes and smiled as the wind came licking at his face. Before dazing off he opened his eyes and watched for his group ahead of him, remaining at the back they entered an open field. At this point Clive slowed his pace so he can get back on two feet, he kept a steady motion as he followed behind the zorua, he glanced up at the sky now and then, for any aerial ambushes. "I'm sure if some pokemon shows their hide, we can take them." He said aloud while watching the field before them, he huddled closer to their group as he turned his head left and right for any signs of feral activity. He nodded subconsciously as the starly suggested to fly above them, he came back to reality as Shawn said 'love birds' a grinning smirk then grew onto his features as Mellow retorted, but that grin soon disappeared as he noticed Jacky start to descend. He felt something was coming up, and he readied himself for it. He saw a Pokemon come running at them, a malicious smile came to his facial as he got into a battle position. He stood side-by-side with the oddish, getting ready to launch an assault on the opposing pokemon. Once Clive saw that the attacking pokemon was close enough, he leaped up and unleashed his sonicboom move. After landing back onto the ground he looked up to see if his hit had landed, he wasn't at all stressed about the situation, their advantage was in numbers after all.

Shawn looked back at her retort."behind you mellow!" Shawn was at an unfavorable vantage point. He had a long distance he would have to jump nearly 50 feet.if i dont hurry this could get bad. shawn had attempted to climb higher. Meanwhile the fight was starting up.

Shawn finally made it to the top of the tree. He looked down at the battle starting up. The buizel used a sonic boom but was so close mellow took some of the blow. He got ready to leap when a shadow tackled him off from behind the branch. " son of a bitch!"

Mellow whirled around at Shawn's request just in time to see Clive blast the Rattata away with a sonic boom, and it coming straight towards her. She attempted to dodge the attack, but failed and was flung backwards into a hard oak tree, a crack resounding in her back. Her eyes narrowed angrily and she snarled, "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR?!" She felt any and all trust and affectionate feelings she felt for the Buizel vaporize, tears beginning to spring in her eyes, not from pain, but from betrayal. She tried getting up, but cringed instead and fell to the ground. "Crap!" she hissed, before saying in determination, "I. Won't. Give. Up!"

The Oddish struggled to stand, finally succeeding in her attempt after so long. Even then, however, she spitefully launched a few seeds at the almost fainted Rattata, and saw them take sprout. She began to feel revitilized again, and smiled calmly, before glaring at Clive in a scary manner.

A deerling had tackled shawn off of the branch. How the hell did it get up there! Shawn landed hard in the next tree trunk past the fight. He scrambled to his feet but winced. The sharp stick had dug into his left shoulder. He has to get into a stance before the deerling follows up with another attack. "God dammit. Ignorethepainignorethepainignorethepain" he slowly worked his way up to the feet. "If i go down i go down fighting." He stare the deerling down and broke the branch off of his shoulder and threw the pieces at the deerling. He side stepped onto a higher branch and made a short leap onto the deerling. His blood was spreading onto the tree.i have to end this quickly if im going to win.

"No, Shawn!" the plant screamed, feeling rage boil up inside her. She dashed toward the offending Deerling, tripping occasionally from a combination of her stubby feet and her injuries, before noticing a rather big rock on the ground. If I can't use hands, then I'll just use my leaves! the female thought to herself stubbornly, attempting to grab a hold of it with her leaves and throw it at the Deerling, praying that it hit it's target.

It hits the deerling sending shawn and the deerling tumbling down the tree. Shawn manages to land a scratch on it face hurting its eyesight."take that fool!" He was cut off from saying anything else by getting the wind knocked out of him by a branch he hit. They both hit the ground with a thud. Shawn scrambled to his feet, as the deerling and rattata recovered. He winced from the pain in his shoulder, but still rushed forward knocking the deerling against the rattata, them both ending up in a heap. Some of his blood wound up layered on the deerling due to him tackling it. " thats right i just knocked you onto your crumpet?" He was feeling woozy from the blood loss by all the scratches from his tumble down the tree.
