First topic message reminder :

"Ok..." Thanks to Silverdawn and some practice, Aaron can navigate more easily now, although, he isn't by any mean perfect. He still get himself lost sometimes and the Echolocation skill will take some time to get used too. Overall, he's a way better navigate then he previously was. However, Aaron Isn't here to gloat about how he's a better navigator.

Aaron's new to Grassveil Town, or the area he's in in general. He only heard about it and how it was famous for its guild. At first, he never cared much about guilds. They go out and explore, capture outlaws, and overall help people. Anyone could do that if they put their mind to it. However, Thinking about it more, imagine how much blood, sweat, tears they had to put in, just to go do the things they do. How many times do they have to adapt to new environments, fighting different ferals and outlaws that comes in their way? Its like a ultimate haven to get stronger, and Aaron wants in. For his brother's sake.

So here he is, in a sense, starring in front of the guild's door. "So how do we start this... hmm..." Aaron looked a bit stumped. how is he going to approach this? he is expecting some sort of test to even join the guild's ranks. "What do you think Silverdawn?"

PostSubject: Re: A Simple visit In The Guild.   A Simple visit In The Guild. - Page 2 EmptyFri Apr 24, 2015 2:16 am

Faye was busy sorting out some of the items on her shelves, removing certain books and rearranging them with her vines – and of course giving them a good dusting if they needed that! It was an important task the guildmaster honestly didn't get to do often enough, but when she heard the knock from the door, she was forced to stop. Perhaps she should have been a bit annoyed at being interrupted... But she just couldn't help but allow the gentle smile force her lips to curl, actually quite happy to have to stop for a while. She really needed a break already and she could do with some company.

The Meganium quickly placed down the items she was holding and started to walk towards the door, her pace relaxed, but her steps heavy due to her size. She was in no rush, but she didn't want her visitor to have to wait either, so Faye wasted no time opening the door by using one of her vines. The large Grass-type Pokémon had to look down to see three Pokémon waiting outside, her head tilting slightly as she smiled.
"Hello, Max. It is so great to see you," she ended up greeting the Pokémon she actually recognized at first, her voice as soft and gentle as it always was. The Meganium's eyes also flicked to take a look at the other two Pokémon that were also present.
"Did you bring some new friends with you today?"

Before the door opened, Silverdawn nodded to Aaron's question. "Yeah, she's a Meganium, and she's really nice." she said, just as the door opened and the self-same Meganium Guildmaster greeted them warmly.

Max the machop smiled at the Guildmaster's greeting of him. "Heh, thanks, Guildmaster Faye. As always, it's great to be able to train at such an awesome guild. Anyway, I was just taking these two on a tour of the guild. They might want to form a team, isn't that right?" he asked, looking between the two pokemon.

Silverdawn shook her head. "I don't know about me being an explorer," she muttered shyly. "I'm not sure I'm cut out for something like that. But Aaron wants to be an explorer, right Aaron?" she asked her friend, trying to move the attention away from her.

Aaron shuffled his feet, his heart slightly pounding in anticipation as the heavy footstep slowly closed in on the door. What Silverdawn said though, He never heard of a Meganium before. Wait, sniffing though the other side of the door... This Meganium smells like a fresh grass mixed with flowers. Definitely a grass type; smells really good too. In fact, he's was completely preoccupied with the smell that he failed to realize that the he was in the presence of the guild master. It was not until Max spoke up, that it break the intoxicating spell.

Embarrassed, Aaron stepped back to where Silverdawn is with a blush hidden behind his fur. When Max told the guild master about Aaron's reasoning behind coming to the guild, Silverdawn spoke out her uncertainty and passed the question to the Deino. Thinking about it now though, Silverdawn doesn't really have much enjoyment in her life; in fact she's even considering going to solitude. If he was being honest, he would say that... "Uh, silverdawn? Maybe you'll be better off joining my team..." Reality set in. Did he really say that out load? Panicking, He quickly thought of the way to make it sound less demanding. "Err... I mean Its your choice, But... But I just think that you could be more happy doing this then seeking solitude." Aaron gulped. "Please Arceus, Don't let her get angry with me please..."

"Oh, how wonderful," Faye smiled as the Machop explained the situation that had been going on behind her door a bit better, happy with both how Max had been helping the newcomers and how more Pokémon might be joining the Guild. It seemed like both of the Pokémon were a bit shy, the Ekans didn't seem all that excited about the idea of forming a team, instead being here because of the Deino, Aaron... Who had backed up behind the snake Pokémon. The Meganium didn't want to scare the two, but there wasn't much she could do except stay calm and gentle, her large eyes looking at the two with a smile.

"We don't want to force anyone into accepting this kind of a job. It can be very demanding, but you have complete control over what kind of missions you take. You don't have to do anything you think wouldn't be good for you, and I am certain everyone can do something to help," the Grass-type Pokémon started to speak when she noticed that there were some doubts and conflicts in the air, talking to both... Silverdawn as the Ekans seemed to be called and Aaron. Her voice was soft, not at all annoyed. A gentle, quiet chuckle escaped her lips.

"If you want to talk about it inside my room, you're free to come, sweeties. I could make you some tea if you'd like," Faye offered with a smile, opening the door some more to give the Pokémon more room if they wanted to come.

Silverdawn turned her head to acknowledge her friend's words, and she shivered. "W-well.. I don't know," she said slowly. She wasn't angry, but she also wasn't sure. When Faye spoke up and invited the two pokemon inside her chambers, Silverdawn turned to the Guildmaster in relief.

"um, that's a good idea!" She said, and slithered into the room and then waited for Aaron to join her.

Meanwhile, Max watched the proceedings with a little amusement. "Well, good luck to you!" he called to the two pokemon, before bowing to Guildmaster Faye in respect. "Thank you, Guildmaster. I'll take my leave now," he said before walking away to do whatever it was that Exploration Team Members do in the guild when not Exploring.

Aaron sighed in relief when all Silverdawn did was express her uncertainty. The fact that Faye's gentle voice calmed him a bit also helped. She seems so nice and understanding; how could she be so scary when Angered? Nevertheless, When the Meganium invited them into her chambers, Aaron nodded and started to make his way to the door. When he past the Guildmaster, Aaron Simply say thanked her for inviting them, and max who seemed to left before he could say anything to him. Aaron stayed close to Silverdawn when they entered the room. He had a feeling that he need to convince her more about joining the guild. He truly believe that Silverdawn could Benefit from joining the guild like a roof over her head. Of course, he's not going to force her into joining.

Perhaps Faye could help convince Silverdawn into joining? She could certainly ease her worries away if she wished. Something Aaron hopes that she'll do.

Faye smiled and stepped aside carefully to let Silverdawn slither in her room, not wanting to be in her way of accidentally crush her under her weight. She raised her head and looked at the Machop wishing luck for the new potential members, nodding her head as a response when Max bowed. She, too, wanted to show her respect to the Pokémon who made the Guild: the teams.
"Take care, Max," she wished the very helpful Machop as she watched him walk away before letting her focus turn back to the two new Pokémon.

The Meganium also nodded at Aaron as the little Pokémon thanked her, shutting the door behind them all once everyone was inside properly. Deino were blind, so she let the Pokémon get used to his surroundings first before coming too close and messing it all up with the tremors her steps might have caused.
"It's good to have you two here. Would you like some tea? I should have some hot water left in the pot," Faye started, finally taking a few steps closer to her desk,
"There are a couple of chairs if you would like to sit down. Maybe you both would like to tell me your story? What brought you all the way here, dearies?"

Silverdawn sniffed at the air inside the Guildmaster's Chambers, and clicked her tongue a few times to give herself an image of how things were situated inside the room. Though she had visited the Guild before, she had never actually been in Faye's chambers before.

She shrugged, her scales rippling strangely along her spine, when Faye asked them if they would like some tea. "Um... sure?" she said. She had never had tea before, always preferring berry juices over warm beverages. Silverdawn slithered closer towards Faye's voice, and curled up beside one of the chairs -chairs really hadn't been made with snake like pokemon in mind.

Silverdawn winced at Faye's next question. "Um... well..." she bowed her head. She never really liked talking about her past. "I... I came from a small town to Grassveil... well, it was more, um, running away... because.. well... ..." her voice had become too small for a moment for anyone to hear, before she continued on. "...so that happened... and then I came here... but I got lost in Pecha Forest and a Nidorino blinded me with his poison... ... and then I made some shops but... this mean aerodactyl outlaw destroyed everything... so... um... then I met Aaron... and then we came here..."

PostSubject: Re: A Simple visit In The Guild.   A Simple visit In The Guild. - Page 2 EmptySat Apr 25, 2015 6:25 pm

Aaron tried that echo thing and clicked his tongue to get a sense of his surrounding. Unlike Silverdawn however, Aaron was clueless. He understands that he needed to listen to the echo, and that echo is supposed to bounce back from an object or something. He just not getting it. Well, Silverdawn only just taught him about Echolocation yesterday, and that was only one lesson. So obviously Aaron isn't going to be much experienced with it. Aaron sighed. "Tea sounds good right about now." Not wanting to mess everything up with his blindness, Aaron simply sat on the floor.

Faye's next question got Aaron thinking. After Silverdawn finished her side of the story, he started his. "Well, I came here though Rainfront town. I wanted to get stronger so I figured joining the guild could help me achieve that. But as you could no doubt tell, I'm blind. So I hired some Pokemon to help me get to Grassveil town. When me and my escort got to there, I wanted to train at Pecha forest. So thank to me being cocky, I've ask my escort to take me there and leave, despite him warning me that It rather dangerous there, being blind and all." Aaron chuckled, getting to the funny part. for him at least. "ironically enough my blindness got me lost here."

Aaron turned his head towards Silverdawn, using his sense of smell to help him find her. If it wasn't for her, I would be stuck there." Aaron gave Silverdawn a small smile before returning to Faye. "Anyway, I asked her if she could point me to the guild and here we are."

PostSubject: Re: A Simple visit In The Guild.   A Simple visit In The Guild. - Page 2 EmptySat Apr 25, 2015 8:33 pm

Faye walked up to her teapot, some steam still wafting from the water. Good, it should still be hot... Though perhaps not the optimal temperature, it should do – and both of her guests did want that tea, so she got right to work, pouring some of the finished herbal tea mix in little cups, catching the stray leaves with a strainer so they would not ruin the flavor of the drink. She listened as the two Pokémon told their stories, both sounding like they had had a rather hard life – or at least a harsh day, if nothing else. Silverdawn too claimed to be blind, something the Meganium didn't notice at first, but now that she mentioned it... Yes, it was quite obvious. The stories did touch the guildmaster's heart, however.

"Oh dear... It sounds like it hasn't been easy," she said, her voice full of sympathy as she grabbed the teacups with her vines. Both of the Pokémon had decided to sit on the floor, but that was fine. Faye was a large Pokémon herself, so she rarely was able to make use of chairs either, her size often too much for them to handle. She placed both of the cups down gently in front of the blind Pokémon, but she did try to make enough noise that it would be easy to tell where exactly she had put them. She didn't want them to accidentally burn themselves with the tea by knocking the cups over!
"Here you go, sweeties."

"I'm glad that the two of you managed to make it. Perhaps you would make a good team together," the Meganium chuckled softly, though it seemed like she was mostly thinking out loud. The guildmaster ended up starting to walk behind her table, but considering where both of the Pokémon she was talking to were sitting... She ended up stopping before she got behind it, sticking to the side so she could actually see who she was talking to.
"We don't usually do this, but... Even if one or both of you end up not joining, I wouldn't mind if you used one of our rooms for a while, dearies. Just in case you are feeling a bit lost and don't know where to go..."

Silverdawn heard the tea being set down in front of her and stretched her head forward, gently sipping at the tea, as it was very hot. While the heat of the drink seemed to wash away most of the taste at first sip, the after-taste of the tea was surprisingly pleasant. Silverdawn turned her head towards Faye's voice when she spoke up after Aaron's story.

"T-that... would be very kind of you," she said. "B-but.. I mean, my store... while a mess, isn't like.. fallen down or anything. But it was kind of you to offer!" she added quickly, not wanting to seem ungrateful at the Meganium's offer. "A-and.. I... I don't know if I'm cut out to be an explorer..." she admitted, hanging her head. "I mean... I'm blind and all... Aaron will earn his eyes eventually, but... I'll never be anything but blind. How can I be of use on an Exploration Team? I'd just slow Aaron down," she said, admitting her fears.

The moment the tea was set next the him, Aaron brought his head closer to the cup; using the best of his abilities to drink the tea in a polite way. At first, all he could taste was the heat of the drink, but after a while, the drink Aaron has tasted was pretty decent. Aaron slowly drank his herbal tea halfway, all the while listening to Silverdawn's fears. Is this really what she think about her blindness? While it true that Aaron will see at one point, it doesn't mean that Aaron think he's useless while he was blind. This goes for Silverdawn too. If she learned to get around using skills like echolocation, there's no doubt in his mind that She could join him despite the flaws she has.

"Silverdawn, your eyes are useless, not you yourself. You're just kidding yourself if you really think that. Compared to me, Your a better navigator with the echolocation thing and I been blind all my life. Point is, don't sell yourself short just because you have one flaw. I don't think you'll slow me down at all or ever." A small affectionate smile grew on the Deino face. He truly hope that she would consider this.

Faye nodded as the Ekans declined the offer, though her gesture was a bit useless on a blind Pokémon and she realized that later on. She couldn't really comment on it without cutting off what else she had to say, so she stayed quiet and listened to the doubts Silverdawn had. Some very understandable ones of course, but Aaron was quick to reply and honestly? The Meganium did agree with his point, considering him to be a bit of a better speaker in this case.

"I don't really know how it is, so I can't claim not being able to see would be... Easy," the guildmaster started eventually, her gaze drifting away from the two Pokémon on the floor as she looked up, her stare looking quite distant,
"But there are many Pokémon who lack things others have, be it senses or abilities, be it something they were born with or something they gained – or lost – later on in their lives. I am certain many won't understand how some can live without something they have, if that something is very important and useful to them... But we still do. We have the ability to adapt and thrive."

The Meganium smiled as she looked back down, her voice gentle and it was almost as if her smile was audible in the way she spoke.
"I don't want to force anyone to join the Guild, sweeties. But we don't require you to be able to do something grand, we just want it to be something you want to do. As long as you want to be a part of the Guild, that is enough and we don't turn you away. You know your strengths and weaknesses better than us, so I am certain you could do the missions you decide to try."

PostSubject: Re: A Simple visit In The Guild.   A Simple visit In The Guild. - Page 2 EmptySat Apr 25, 2015 11:25 pm

Silverdawn raised her head at Aaron's and Faye's words. Could they really be true? Could she really be more than just a burden on other pokemon? "Y-you really think that I could be something more?" she asked quietly. "You really think a blind ekans like me could be good on an Exploration Team?" she asked. Her fears had always stopped her from pursuing any dreams she had had before. She had always thought that she was useless, and when she had been blinded, she had felt like any use she ever could have been, had all been taken away from her. But from what Aaron and Faye were saying, she was wrong.

She remembered the story that Aaron had told her the night before, about his friend the Roselia, and how she hadn't given up on her dream even when she had been dying. "I... I guess I'm just being silly... I... Aaron, i-if you want me on your team... I... I'll join... and I'll try my best!" she promised her friend, hoping that he would still want her on the team.

Aaron small smile has turned into huge grin. "That's all I'm asking for. Trust me, your bettering yourself by doing this." He doesn't know much about Silverdawn, considering that they only met just yesterday, but he could tell that his bond with her is ever so growing, and it will continue to grow even stronger. "We'll make a great team! Aaron Laughed. He'll get stronger now, he'll protect his brother, no matter what. But first though, him and his partner need to make a name for themselves among the guild. That's the only way for Them to get harder task, and harder mean better. Of course, Aaron should also consider Silverdawn thoughts. She's in the team now and her though is as much as important then his.

Aaron quickly realize something and turned his head to Faye. "Uh miss, How exactly do we apply? I know We have to see you, but... what now?" Also, What are they going to name themselves? Aaron remembered that his brother named themselves Silverlight when they simply role-played a rescue team when they were younger. He's really wanted to name themselves that, but again, his partners need to agree too. For now, he'll focus on hearing his soon to be Guildmaster's answer.
