On the Pecha Trail Empty
PostSubject: On the Pecha Trail   On the Pecha Trail EmptySun Aug 24, 2014 3:39 am

All in all, it had been a pretty good day so far.

The sun above, accompanied by wisps of clouds, shone beautifully but not painfully, warming but not scorching the day. Under the cover of branches and leaves that made up the roof of the Pecha Forest, Tina found herself enjoying this time's walk. A well-beaten trail left a comfortable paths through the woods with little interference or threat. In itself, that was nice because then she could appreciate the scenery more, leading the whole good scenario into full circle.

Tina was on a sort of adventure, one could say. She was off to find Grassveil Town, and more specifically, the Grassveil Exploration Guild. Once there, she would look to get herself on a Rescue Team, and make a living out of helping others. It was an opportunity that the plucky little Fennekin was firm on sinking her teeth into, for it was based upon her own personal experiences.

But for now, Tina's main goal was to find the place. She didn't suspect it would end up being that hard; if those directions were right, then the town would be just beyond this forest. The trick was getting through the forest, which at the least seemed to be taking awhile.

As long as the whole trek ended up going without error, then Tina had nothing to worry about!

PostSubject: Re: On the Pecha Trail   On the Pecha Trail EmptySun Aug 24, 2014 3:22 pm

Varda waddled on the forest path, his steps springy and cheerful. The day was beautiful – and absolutely perfect for picking berries. It wasn't too cold or too hot, and there was plenty of sunlight filtering through the canopy to make Pecha Forest a bright place even in the more densely forested areas! The leaves rustled in the slight breeze up above, but otherwise the forest was completely calm. Not completely silent however, as the sounds of the nature could be heard from every direction, distant yet still so close.

The Swablu didn't have much time to appreciate walk through the forest, as he was on an important mission! Not an official Guild mission of course, but he did owe a big favor to a certain Pokémon he had met earlier. As he didn't know where his home was and didn't know anyone in Grassveil Town, he was forced to take advantage of the kindness of the Pokémon living there so he had a warm nest to sleep in for the night. Luckily, there was someone who had taken in him – and now Varda really wanted to help them in some way! The owner of the Dojo also had a berry garden, so... So he figured out that she might like berries...?

The Bird Pokémon hadn't wanted to go too far from Grassveil Town, but unfortunately it seemed like the bushes closer to town had already been picked clean from any berries they might have had. He did know that Pecha Forest had some interesting berries though, and surely he would be fine as long as he stayed close to the path snaking through the forest. As long as he followed it, he would always get back to Grassveil Town eventually – and this time, he would get back to town with many berries!

A certain large, promising bush right next to the dirt path caught Varda's eye. It seemed like the berries often could be hidden under the thick layers of leaves, so the Swablu didn't waste any time and got right into it. Literally. Squeezing himself through the branches, he made his way to the center of the bush to take a proper look around. There was nothing in there. No berries of any kind – but at the same time, there were no angry Pokémon, either! It was quite the relief, though Varda still had to get out and keep searching. ...Which ended up being the new problem. His stubby feet couldn't get a good enough grip to push himself out of the middle of the branches that squeezed him rather tight, his wings were in an awkward position to try to push anything aside and free him from his new cage. It certainly was a dilemma, the bird could barely even move!

There wasn't much he could do now. It was almost like the Swablu had already accepted his fate of becoming a bush and living the rest of his life in this one spot. He was just so strangely relaxed, not even fighting it anymore and quietly watching his surroundings from the small gaps between all the leaves. Varda didn't know how long he was doing it for, losing his sense of time when nothing was happening... But then, then he noticed something else. Something interesting.

An approaching figure walking down the path. A strange Pokémon the bird had never seen before – but then again, he hadn't seen that many different types of Pokémon before he came to Grassveil Town. His beady little eyes were fixated on the furry critter as they followed the stranger, watching as the other Pokémon approached the little bush to the side of the path...
"Hello!" A chirpy voice came from the bush once the fox-like Pokémon was close enough. The Swablu was quite well hidden by the thick foliage, but perhaps one with keen eyes would see those strange colors that didn't belong to a green, leafy bush peeking from underneath...

"EEP!"

Hearing a sudden enthusiastic trill erupt from seemingly nowhere, Tina was caught off guard. She had been so surprised that her recoil sent her a couple of inches into the air, along with her frightened yip. It was after the Fennekin had landed, slowed her heart, and looked around, that she then mentally kicked herself. Someone saying 'hi'? What a silly thing to be scared from!

Except... where was it coming from? It had been awfully close, Tina guessed that much, seeing as how much volume she got. The voice as almost chipper enough to be from a bird, though... and what bird Pokemon wouldn't be up in a tree at any given time?, especially here? So Tina had to do a bit of glancing around, to see if maybe there was a Pokemon on or around the trail that she hadn't noticed, if perhaps it had spoken with the intent to just reveal itself.

But in her search, Tina saw no Pokemon, nor did anyone reveal themselves from the brush lining the sides of the trail. So, with no visual contact, the fox Pokemon decided to at least nail down a verbal connection first.

"Um, hello...! I... can't see you," Tina said to the area awkwardly, still glancing about to find wherever that speaker may be.

Varda watched from his little hiding place as the other Pokémon jumped into the air with a yelp. Slightly tilting his head, the bird was quite confused. It seemed like a strange greeting ritual, but... But he really wanted to respond to it the same way, too! As he was unable to really move, he did have to give up on it, unfortunately. It seemed like certain sacrifices had to be made when you were a bush, movement being one of them. No more jumping up in excitement.

The Swablu waited patiently, staying quiet as the visitor continued her long greeting. The next step seemed to be looking around for a while before she stopped and finally gave a verbal greeting, too! He was quite happy to get a reaction as many Pokémon tended to ignore bushes, though then again, he had only been a bush for a little while and this was the first Pokémon he had talked to this way.

...But then the fox Pokémon pointed out that she couldn't see who she was talking to. For a moment, the bird continued his silence as he thought about it. Then, he figured it out. Now it made sense.
"Oh. Oh!" Varda's tone signaled his realization of the situation. Yes, it made more sense that she had been surprised by the talking bush, as many bushes didn't talk! Clearly the other Pokémon didn't even think that a bush could talk, so she hadn't expected it! He had to have scared her by accident by suddenly speaking.

"Over here," the Swablu wiggled as much as he could, causing the bush to rustle,
"I have become one with the bush," he continued to explain as he stopped his movement before he tired himself out, the leaves and branches eventually following his lead and coming to a halt as well. Varda was quite excited to be the first one to handle bush to Pokémon relations!
"I didn't mean to scare you, miss," he chirped his apologies,
"My name is Varda!"

PostSubject: Re: On the Pecha Trail   On the Pecha Trail EmptySun Aug 24, 2014 7:33 pm

For a few lingering moments, there was silence. Did that other Pokemon not hear her? Was that 'hello' meant to be for some other situation? Tina was about to repeat herself when the voice spoke up again, chanting out 'Oh!'s like he had just figured out the twist in a mystery. And the indeed, the mystery in question was fact that this Pokemon was not anywhere that could make it visible.

So, naturally, he made himself more apparent. The rustling bush definitely caught Tina's attention, and she looked at it expectantly at the rustling continued. As it stopped, though, no Pokemon had emerged, eliciting a bob of confusion from the Fennekin.

Shortly, though, the voice followed up with 'I have become one with the bush.' Tina just bobbed her head the other way, donning even more confusion until it hit her.

"Oh! So, you got yourself stuck-?" Tina asked with a dollop of hesitation, trotting forward. It was still very silly of her, she thought, to be talking to what was effectively a bush like this. Unless the Pokemon in question was some sort of grass-type and he had literally become one with the bush... No, that didn't seem right, though. That voice seemed so chipper and light that only a bird Pokemon could really pull it off. Only way to find out for sure would be to investigate, since it was apparent the thing couldn't pull itself out.

Carefully, the Fennekin stood up somewhat to push her forepaws into the leafy foliage. The texture was not entirely unpleasant, as the leaves were mostly thick enough to cushion some of the rougher, pokey feelings of the branches themselves. Still, she exercised caution to not scratch herself or get her fur caught as this Pokemon had. It only took one large parting of the brush to reveal the presumable source of the voice that she had been talking to.

And... the Fennekin had no idea what it was. It had a beak, certainly, so it must've been a bird, but it was on a tiny round blue head; no, that seemed to be whole body, like those Natu's Tina had heard of. In a stark but effective contrast, everything on this Pokemon that wasn't blue was white, and very poofy, too. It was as if all the feathers on this bird was just the light down, making it look so fluffy it could almost be a cloud in the sky. Which in and of itself raised more questions as to ultimately why a bird would end up on the ground like this.

"Hello, there you are!" Tina said, gaining a far more upbeat tone to match the Pokemon she was now talking to. The bird quickly took the time to apologize for having scared the Fennekin earlier, still chirpy as ever, though. "Aw, well..." Tina paused intentionally, hyping for a dramatic effect.

Then, she acted out in a teasing kindred: "I guess I can't stay mad at something like you. You're just so fluffy!" The Fennekin topped off the end of her act with a sudden affectionate nose-rub, playfully nuzzling the other Pokemon's smooth beak. For a spare moment, she wondered what it would be like to sleep on this Pokemon; she imagined it to be comfortable and cushy, like wool, but with fair bit of snuggling, too.

"You can call me Tina," the fox said, responding to the bird's name. "If you don't mind me asking, though, what kind of Pokemon are you?"

PostSubject: Re: On the Pecha Trail   On the Pecha Trail EmptySun Aug 24, 2014 9:01 pm

Varda watched as the other Pokémon approached his bush form, frowning a bit to himself as she stated the obvious. Saying that he was stuck in a bush sounded a bit silly. Obviously, this was a lot more than that! The bush had chosen him and refused to let go, so he had to be a part of it now.
"You could say that," the Swablu's voice was a bit distant as he mostly thought out loud, not exactly wanting his grand fate to be "stuck in a bush",
"But I think the bush wants me here! I'm sure it has some kind of plan," he chirped louder, hoping that the furry Pokémon would understand that something much bigger was going on! Even though Varda didn't know the bush's master plan himself, he was going to trust the bush.

It seemed like he had caught the fox's interest now, as she didn't just stop at getting right next to the bush. No, soon her small, light-colored paws were inserted into the bush, carefully feeling around and even pushing the branches aside once she found them. The bird Pokémon wasn't entirely sure what to make of that, as she was technically inserting her paws into his new bush body here! Still, he didn't move, he just quietly watched as the paws searched and poked, finally clearing most of the foliage obstructing the Swablu's view. A bit more sunlight managed to reach his eyes now when the other Pokémon held the branch away from him... And he realized that he certainly would miss the sun if he was to spend the rest of his life inside this very bush!

"H-Hello!" Varda chirped back when he was greeted again, feeling that it would only be polite to respond to it – even though both of them had already done their greetings earlier. And there he was, right in the center of the bush, surrounded by the branches that twisted around the middle. Suspended in the air by the very same branches, none of his limbs seemed like they were able to wriggle free, caged too perfectly by the mighty immobile bush. Everything seemed to be just a bit too tight for the bird's body type!

The bird Pokémon really hoped that the other would accept his apologies! He really hadn't meant to scare her, but he wasn't really thinking. He didn't think that he would startle her so badly, but he hadn't even thought that a talking bush would be so weird! However, once the fox-like Pokémon hesitated and wondered if she could forgive him, the Swablu's eyes grew larger – and even seemed to become darker, like bottomless pits of agony and sorrow. They seemed glossier too, like they were becoming wetter. He felt so guilty, his head feathers drooping down...

...And in an instant, the awful feeling was gone! She had forgiven him, causing Varda's eyes to become bright once more. He was so happy, smiling and slightly flapping his soft, cottony wings.
"Thank you, miss!" The bird chirped cheerfully, not only thanking her for being so kind, but also for the compliments! At least he thought being called fluffy was a compliment, considering the way she said it. The other Pokémon was quite furry and fluffy herself, so perhaps it was a really, really good thing to be fluffy among her kind. He just stared at her with a vacant expression once her nose touched his beak, however. While there still was a smile on his face... He didn't really get it. Maybe it was another greeting?

"I'm a Swablu, miss! Or I was, before I became the bush," the Swablu explained excitedly when the other Pokémon – introduced as Tina – asked about his species. Though suddenly, he grew quiet as he thought about something.
"You haven't happened to see someone like me before...?" Varda asked cautiously after his silence, seeing if he could just find one clue as to where is home was from this stranger...

As Tina had been playing around with her excessive forgiveness act, she had just barely noticed the bird's expression drop in utter shame. Those large black pupils, swelled to watery pits as if a torrent would erupt from them at any moment. A pang of guilt at possibly misleading the Pokemon had led her to quickly rescind her delay in action, not even pretending to ponder and finishing her act right out. As that so sullen expression disappeared, so too did her guilt, and all was well.

Further along, though, Varda didn't seem to give any reaction to that nose nuzzle. Tina was a tad curious about that, given how most Pokemon she ended up doing that to gave off a fluster of some degree. This was a boy, right? He at least sounded like a boy bird, to the Fennekin. She pondered the thought no further, figuring that bird traditions weren't the same as mammal traditions.

"I'm a Swablu, miss! Or I was, before I became the bush."

A Swablu? Tina twitched her snout a couple of times in pondering. Yes, she had heard of Swablu... she'd just never seen one. The canopy of the forest didn't provide as many opportunities to gaze into the sky. Plus, she realized, if all Swablu looked like Varda's design, then it would be no wonder she couldn't see them anyways; they would all blend in, looking like clouds in the sky!

"Mmm... nope, afraid I haven't seen any birds like you," Tina admitted plainly. "I mean, I lived in a forest, and you look like you'd live in the clouds, or something like that." Or something like that, indeed. It slipped her mind to actually bother asking where the Swablu lived, instead focusing on the greater issue of the moment:

"Anyway, you said you, er... became the bush?" Tina asked, changing her current subject. "I mean, why would you do that? It looks like you just snagged yourself on a load of branches." It was definitely confusing to her, because why would a bird like this get all caught in a bush and claim nothing was wrong? Unless this was some sort of weird bird tradition she didn't know about, but that still probably wouldn't make sense even if she did know about it.

PostSubject: Re: On the Pecha Trail   On the Pecha Trail EmptySun Aug 24, 2014 10:47 pm

"Oh," Varda's voice sounded a bit defeated, back to square one. It's not like he had expected Tina to know about his home for sure, but... He had hoped, certainly. It would have been something, a clue. A place where he could go and start his search. But the disappointment was soon over as the bird perked up again, realizing that minor setbacks weren't going to stop him from reaching his goal. His home was out there somewhere, so he would find it by just looking for it hard enough!

"It's alright, I have never seen someone like you before either!" He chirped happily, concluding that he probably hadn't lived close to the fox Pokémon. Of course, as he had mostly stayed in his nest, he hadn't seen that many Pokémon. His own ignorance wasn't any kind of proof, but if Tina hadn't seen anyone like him, then it was safe to say his kind hadn't flown close to her.
"I lived in a nest," the Swablu corrected the other Pokémon proudly, stating the obvious. Of course he didn't live in the clouds, he couldn't rest up there as he would pass right through them! Probably. That's what they said. He had never been that high up himself, so he didn't know for certain.

Varda nodded as Tina asked about his current bushy state, affirming that he had indeed become the bush. It looked obvious to him, but the other Pokémon didn't seem to be all that convinced. It was true that the bird was quite new to this himself as it wasn't often that someone became the bush, but he would do his best to explain his situation!
"Oh, well, I was trying to see what was inside this bush," he started as he kept his eyes on the fox's face, stretching his wings a bit,
"And then it grabbed me. So, I have been here since then, I think it likes me," the Swablu seemed awfully chipper – or perhaps delusional. Perhaps it could be easy to assume that the poor bird had been stuck there for days, completely delirious due to lack of food and water. But no, unfortunately that just was Varda...

"I'm just not entirely sure what a bush is supposed to do," the bird Pokémon wondered, tilting his head from side to side.

At the declaration that Varda neither knew what kind of Pokemon Tina was, nor did the bird Pokemon actually live in the clouds, the Fennekin just kinda shrugged. She had kinda figured as much in both regards, and it wasn't really something that presented itself as a concern to her right now.

The Swablu, however, seemed to think this situation wasn't as big a deal as Tina made it out to be. He had mentioned he was trying to see if there was something in the bush, and then that the bush just grabbed Varda. Tina glanced around, trying to find evidence that perhaps this bush was a Pokemon of some sort, but she found none that she could tell. And yet this bird was claiming this bush was keeping him, like it was alive or something, which the fox found even less likely that a ritual.

"Um..." Tina racked her brain a bit, trying to figure out how to best approach Varda's apparent obliviousness. "The thing is, bushes... aren't really living beings, like you. You're not supposed to become a bush by just being in a bush," she tried to explain to the Swablu, this conversation still being on the silly side.

"I'm- pretty sure you just got your wings tangled in the branches here. Here, I can help pull you out!" Tina offered, not waiting for a response as she went to grab a hold of the Swablu's body as best as she could with her forepaws to ready herself to pull.

Varda looked up at the other Pokémon, his eyes clearly showing that he didn't quite understand despite his innocent smile. The small dark beads just stared, rarely blinking. While he didn't want to claim that Tina was wrong, he had good feelings about his own hypothesis! He thought that it made a lot of sense and explained his situation quite well. However, he still wanted to give the other Pokémon a chance, not stopping her or objecting any way, just quietly listening and letting her finish before he even opened his beak.

"Well, you see," the stuck Swablu started to tell Tina his experience of what had happened, giving her the proof he had that had fueled his own theory,
"I do feel bushier now, though. I really do," he smiled, not finding any other explanation for his feeling. Why would he feel like a bush if he wasn't a bush? That would just be strange and way too confusing. And maybe he already was connected to the branches pressing up against his body! Trying to move a bit, Varda did confirm that he wasn't able to shift his position.

"O-Oh, I'm not sure if we should–" the bird chirped, his voice filled with uncertainty as Tina once again got closer to him, but her intention being to pull him out of the bush this time! Of course he was quite worried about that! If he already was connected to the bush... What would happen if he was pulled too hard? But Varda didn't manage to stop the Pokémon, he didn't even manage to say that she should stop – nor was he certain if she would stop even if he asked her to. His objections certainly didn't make Tina stop, her paws already grabbing the bird's soft, fluffy body. He didn't have time to make her stop.

And she pulled. The Swablu squirmed a bit, feeling uncomfortable as his body was forced to push against his branch prison. However, the flexible branches of the bush were no match for even gentle pulling, slowly giving way to the plump Pokémon as he squeezed through, his wings following him. Eventually, Varda's body popped out with a plop as the branches quickly snapped back to their original position, leaves rustling as their swaying caused them to rub against each other.

PostSubject: Re: On the Pecha Trail   On the Pecha Trail EmptyMon Aug 25, 2014 12:25 am

Tina got a bit of a chuckle out of Varda feeling 'bushy'. "But you're a bird! Why would you want to feel like a bush when you could feel like a bird?" She exclaimed, teasing at the Swablu's view of his predicament. His own attempts to move himself out of the clutches of the branches were met with no progress. He was most definitely stuck with the branches, but someone on the outside could pull him out with enough force.

"Here goes-!" Tina declared, giving as good of a tug as she could muster with her current positioning. Though it was weak, it was still gradual, and the brush could only resist for so long. Soon after it had began, the bird was pulled out and the branches snapped back, a couple of stray twigs and leaves plucked free.

But Tina's balance on her hindlegs had relied on her forelegs being planted in the bush. So when she pulled the Swablu out, she too pulled away her own balance, the weight of the bird falling towards her. In a movement as sudden as Varda being freed from the branches, the two of them were sent toppling over Tina's hindlegs. She landed with a thump on the dirt path, having flipped over onto her back with her held breath knocked free and the Swablu splayed out atop her upturned belly.

It wasn't anything bad, to her relief. The road was fairly padded, and the bird's own fluffed form cushioned his impact against her. After a moment to reclaim some air from being knocked down, Tina lifted her head to look at Varda with a triumphant smile. "Ta-daa~!"

The force behind the sudden removal of Varda caused the Pokémon pulling him to lose her balance, causing her to eventually topple over, landing on her back – and as she was holding onto the bird, he was forced to come with her. Of course he didn't have it as bad as her, as the fox fell against the dirt road while the Swablu landed softly on her fluffy, furry belly. His face was buried in her fur, his world growing dark as he couldn't see anything, only feel the warmth of the other Pokémon under him. His wings were spread open and splayed to the sides, resting on the cool dirt. For a moment, the both of them just lied there quietly, catching their breath.

Varda finally used his wings to push himself up, finally having face free of the fur and being able to see again – though with his head feathers flopping to his front side, they were slightly obstructing his vision. And it wasn't the only thing that managed to enjoy freedom, as his body no longer was a part of the bush, the branches no longer holding him still! Finally really really realizing where he had ended up, the bird Pokémon quickly got up and jumped off Tina, landing on the path next to her. It was quite strange to move again, but there was a certain doubt still in his mind...

Giving himself a quick look, he noticed a piece of a branch stuck to one of his fluffy wings! Panicking as he had obviously already become a part of the bush and started to grow his own branches, he spread his wing to show to Tina.
"L-Look!" He stuttered, not knowing what to do now that he had been separated from his bush body, not having any roots of his own to keep himself alive! However, his panic was rather short-lived. Almost right away, the dark, dead branch fell to the ground, not truly stuck to the Swablu at all as it was just a piece that had come loose while he had been pulled off.

"...Oh," Varda realized as he looked at the fallen branch, folding his wing. It was a false alarm. Did he feel bushy or birdy now? He couldn't tell.
"Um, miss," the Swablu looked up at the other Pokémon, no longer in a state of panic,
"Are you alright...?"

Still a bit winded from her impact, Tina gladly watched as the bird removed his face from her fur, looked around, and with a sudden keen movement hopped off of the Fennekin and exercised himself. Tina kept having small bouts of giggles at the Swablu's reactions, with him escalating to where he was in a panic at there being a dead branch in his wing fluff. She did stop shortly after Varda realized his misplaced urgency, but still bore that same smile on her face.

The fox could only keep up her mood as the bird asked if she was alright. "Oh, I'll be fine," she commented, rolling over onto all fours. Tina stood up, then stretched herself forward, and backward, breathing harshly through her teeth as she worked to iron out all the aching kinks in her back. Satisfied, Tina shook her body to let loose the dusty grains of soil worked into her fur.

"So," the Fennekin began, content with her current condition, "What now?" She tilted her head a bit, as if expectant of an answer from Varda, with her smile ever present.

Varda nodded, accepting the other Pokémon's judgment when it came to her own condition. She certainly didn't look like she was awfully hurt and she could still move around just fine as she got back on her paws and stretched. The bird didn't have to worry about her at all, so he turned his attention back to himself. He wasn't a part of the bush anymore. Had he ever even truly been a part of it? It was a question he didn't have an answer for. Right now, however... Maybe he didn't even feel bushy anymore. Maybe... Maybe he did feel like a bird now. Maybe it was a good thing that he was free and able to be a bird once again!

"Thank you, miss Tina," the Swablu looked back at the fox, chirping cheerfully,
"I might have been the bush forever if you hadn't gotten me out! I don't think I was ready for such a commitment yet," he continued, apparently still not entirely buying Tina's theory that he was just stuck in the bush. No, clearly he had become one with the bush, but he just wasn't ready yet. Perhaps in the future he could be the bush, but he wasn't going to make any promises. Maybe he couldn't keep them, after all. His family might not appreciate him becoming the bush, either!

"Oh, well, I was looking for berries in the bush," Varda flapped his wings slowly as he explained, loosening some of the dirt from his pure white feathers,
"Before, you know, it grabbed me. I wanted to give them as a gift to a Pokémon I met in Grassveil Town, so I think I should go look for some."

"Hah, no problem!" Tina nodded gladly in response to the birdie's thanks. She was more grateful to have helped someone than she let on, even seeing as how the Swablu seemed to think so oddly about that predicament. That little chirping and flapping of wings he did was awfully cute, too!

"Berries, huh?" The Fennekin replied at Varda's explanation. That would definitely explain how the bird could get stuck like that, if he ended up diving too far into the bushes looking for berries. Perhaps it could also be that he didn't know precisely what berries he was looking for, on top of that, but that was jumping to conclusions somewhat.

The mention of Grassveil Town, meanwhile, rung a familiar bell. It took her a pawfull of moments to realize that Grassveil Town was probably the place she was looking for; a town would be an obvious place to host something like an Exploration Guild. So if this bird knew the way around, then he could direct her to Grassveil Town's guild in a jiffy! Tina hopped forward to get more face-to-face with the Swablu. "Why don't I come with you?"

During the following moment of silence, she realized the bird wouldn't be heading back to town immediately, and so she spruced up her proposition: "If it's a certain kind of berry you're looking for, I could probably help! Plus, what if you got snagged in another bush like that?" Tina began on another tangent, deciding to play along with the Swablu's idea what happened with the bushes. "If you really don't want to be a bush, then I can pull you out again!" It was a genius plan that she figured would help them both out in the long run, and so she was convinced that the birdie couldn't refuse.
