Foul Play In England

As Venwith was blasted with a wave of ESP power Charles was sent flying gliding in an arch to land right inbetween the automation and Alice. Venwith picked himself off from the wall he had crashed into Charles didn't even register on his eyes as he faced his palms towards Alice. " things are about to get hot in here!" He yelled as tiny circle parts slide back into his body and spouts shot out he jerked his thumbs back and orange red flames spewed out.
Charles crossed his arms as he crashed into the ground the same instant the flames reached him he was engulfed in orange and red.
" Ha! The fool he'll melt in Ven's flames." Widow commented as she put herself back on her spider legs.
" WHAT?!" The fire man screamed at widow. " Charles is in the fire?! That's not-"
He was cut off by a very long and wide broad sword that swipe threw the flames smacking him to the side. " why thank you for the blow dry." Charles commented from his knee down a ten foot long and three feet wide broad sword sprouted. It really could hardly be called a sword with how blunt of an edge it had it might as well have been a club.

Widow climbed over to Venwith and started to pick him off the ground. her bottom lip quivering as she whispered his name.

"Well, that was somewhat impressive." Alice muttered as she looked at the scene in front of her. She hadn't been at all worried about the flames as she had the ability to force her ESP powers outward in the shape of a sheild, so she would have been fine. Charles had impressed her very much, however, pulling off a stunt like that.

" Oh really why thanks." Charles blushed flattered. He bent his leg at the knee and reverted his sword back to his leg. " But really Alice your the one that took one of them down in one blow." As though on cue with Charles saying it Venwith groaned loudly in pain and fainted. Widwo looked at Charlesd in fear. " Don't look at me like I said Alice did it." Charles said putting his hands up and waving them avoiding the credit. " you probably didn't know this, Widow, but after an automation goes into it's normal phase of maturity the heart and brain aren't very important anymore, the most important part of the body becomes the seed that directs and controls the machine functions in the body. It just so happens ESP is very effective against the Seed." CHarles said with a large smile.

"Wow, even I didn't know that. I guess you learn something new every day!" Alice mused, obviously not feeling very guilty despite Widow's facial expression.

Charles cracked his knuckles threateningly. Widow seemed to start to go into panic mode at this point. Charles' eyebrow raised as steam started to leak out from the base of her spider legs. " Um since when did automation steam?" Charles asked actually confused on something he should have known almost everything about.

" Our deer father added the feature to the generation one models! " She replied with a slight smile. " It's called over heating it majorly increases everything." As she bragged she leaped with her spider legs coming in perfect arc to pounce right down on Charles.
Can't move or else she'll get Alice! Charles' realized his eyes growing wide looking back at her. He bent his legs and let out a deep breath. " I never though I'd have to be on the defensive." Charles said sounding slightly troubled.

" Don't think you'll be able to stop me with just your steel body!" Widow cackled as she took a page from Venwith's book and fire ignited along her legs.

" Of course not, I'm not as stupid as you too, overestimating myself isn't my style." Charles inform her. He balled both of his fists and in front of him brought them together. " let's see how well I defend myself Widow, the ultimate defensive form of automation Domovoi." Charles forearms folded out and splayed out into a outline of a shield. the grinding noise was heard again and Charles' forearms had been connected and made into a large shield that he held up.
Widow's spider legs needle points spun and clashed on the shield sending sparks flying but they didn't even make Charles budge. " If you would Alice." He asked.

Alice felt a little pang of fear in her chest as Widow launched herself up and over Charles, but she knew not to underestimate her partner. Right on cue, she made a gun with her right hand and pointed it at Widow, then "shot" it at her, releasing a bigger wave of concentrated ESP power than before.

As though she had been shot by a real gun Widow's head suddenly snapped back. She fell limp onto Charles shield and he dropped it to smack with a large thump onto the ground. " lord I hate this thing." Charles said furrowing his brow. " It's so large and heavy." As he complained the shield reverted back into his forearms. He dusted himself off.

"Well thanks for putting yourself through that. Now, help me out here. What was that all about?" Alice questioned.

" Exactly what it sounds like I suppose my dad wants to see me." Charles replied simply but there was obviously more too it. " I believe this was a set up." Charles stated the obvious. But perhaps they might have something on them. HE figured as he went to investigate Widow's body. She didn't seem to have any place to hide information on her like paper or instructions of any sorts. Dad always gave verbal orders though. he reminded himself.

Alice noticed that Charles seemed to be looking for something, but she didn't pry too much. She trusted that Charles would explain himself.

"Hm well this isn't good." Charles bit on his thumb nail. " It seems she's from their with The Knights of Purgatory also, we seem to be upsetting very important people." Charles said sounding only very slightly worried. " I should check Venswith for the mark too." He said as he made his way over there. " JACKPOT!" He yelled taking a sheet of paper from the man's coat pocket.

"Well, it wouldn't be very much fun if we didn't upset anybody, now would it?" Alice commented, not seeming that worried either. She leaned over Venswith's limp body and grinned slightly. "I do believe he bites his thumb at you, sir." she smirked in a Shakespearean accent. She watched as Charles pulled the peice of paper out of Venswith's pocket excitedly. "What is it?" she asked him.

" this is the location of our target." Charles said holding it up like he had just discovered the holy grail. " Oh lord almighty she's really all the way out there?!" Charles said amazed. " They must have known we'd be coming well in advance." He guessed as he handed the paper to Alice, It was a scribbled map of the newly discover continent across the ocean. " She's made it all the way across the ocean to the New World." Charles sounded grim that may have been a little ways out of their reach.

"I cannot believe that the Queen really went to the friggen New World." Alice muttered with a slight frown. "Why in the world would she go all the way over there just to visit some dingy colonies?" she continiued, smiling slightly at her boat pun.

Charles took his hand like he was looking at a watch as he did the back of his hand turned into a symbol and he tapped it with his finger making the rim shot noise. After remorphing his hand Charles slid the piece of paper into his pocket. " Now let's go get my shirt and figure out how we're doing this." Charles decided. " And get my cloths too." His cheeks turning red as he realized he was still shirtless.
