Traveling through Unknown Territory [[Open]]

It had been a few days since Zeri was banished from his tribal grounds, everything in his life disappearing slowly from view as he continues to wander through the forest towards the every setting sun. A sigh escapes from this young Pawniard's maw as the minutes seem to drag onto hours within his mind, the sun setting slowly over the canopy of trees. Thankfully at least it was a clear sky hanging overhead, Zeri smiling at this fact as if it meant anything to him. For some reason though it seemed as if the forest was too quiet for the time of day, the nocturnals should be awakening at this time... course this being Shadowhue forest probably all the Pokemon here were nocturnal.

"Ugh... this is going to a rather boring night if nothing truly interesting happens. Might as well make a quick nest for the evening."

Looking around the vicinity, Zeri found himself a small hole under a tree, peeking inside it to find no Pokemon nesting inside, the Pawniard then exploring the area to gather leaves and the such to make a comfortable bed in the dirt inside the hovel. Taking his time to make sure it is well crafted, Zeri begins to also search for food nearby his hidden hole in the ground. The wind was slowly begin to pick up, nothing too uncomfortable but it was beginning to feel rather nice even though he was all alone out here...

The Munchlax made quips at him as Acro helped him up, the Pawniard slowly dusting himself off before looking at the laughing pokemon... trying to devise a plan on how to take some actions against the fluffy being. He continued to warily watch the both of them, sitting atop the apple as if it were a makeshift seat... the winds around them picking up speed to show a storm was on the way, the currents of the changing skies coursing across Zeri's blades to cause a small chilling sound to arise from contact. It was then Lax began to try to copy Zeri's blade technique, the Pawniard watching as he foolishly played at having blade arms...

"Whoah, they're awesome, I wish I could do that"

It was almost amusing watching the Munchlax faking bladed arms and play around, almost being the key word sadly. Zeri sighs softly as he looks up at the sky through the canopy of the trees, the sun was nearly down and the shadows were really beginning to stretch across the ground. The winds continued to pick up and create the eerie sound against Zeri's blades, the young pokemon looking around slowly.

"We're going to have to take shelter here soon, it seems the skys are not too fond of the day becoming night around here. The burrow I dug may be large enough for the three of us... maybe."

Zeri gets up off his apple before picking it back up, moving towards the burrow with a slow steady pace, not too much in a hurry since he could see just fine in the darkness that was beginning to surround the small group. Wondering if it was wise to share the burrow with these random pokemon he didn't know, but he'd think on that later as right as he began walking towards the burrow, something happened...

A cacnea jumped out behind them followed by another pokemon, the cacnea did not look too happy and aimed at Acro and Lax, using a poison sting

Lax turned to face them, and then took the poison sting straight to the face, knocking him back

A Weedle leaped out with a string shot aimed at Zeri, it used the Cacnea as cover in case someone attacked.

Acro was able to dodge the poison sting, he leaped to the side and skidded to a stop while facing the Cacnea. The archen cawed before multiple copies of him appeared, he was using double team! Once there was a whole line of him, he and his copies sprang forward and attacked the Cacnea with an all out Wing Attack. He had become used to pokemon randomly popping about and attacking them, he collided with the Cacnea and dealt massive damage. He realized that he had a huge type advantage and smirked, the smirk faded when he was hit with a poison sting. He retreated a few steps and picked the thorn from his wing. Luckily he wasn't poisoned.

Silence followed the next few second before the rustling in the bushes began behind the Pawniard, his instincts instantly taking over as he does a quick turn and he tosses the apple straight at the sound, right on time to catch the String Shot straight on the fruit and keeping Zeri from having his speed lowered. As if the steel type needed to move any slower than he already was. When the apple left the claws of the rage filled Pawniard, the blades within his arms began to elongate to their full length before he ducks low, rushing towards the Weedle who dares to attack one better than him... His left arm begins to glow a deep dark purple as the dark aura surrounds him and the area like a thick fog, his pressure exerting itself.

As his left arm began to glow the dark purple, his right claw glowed white as he prepared a simple Scratch attack to use... The Weedle seeing Zer coming at him quite easily and begins to launch poison sting at him, the purple barbs soaring through the air as the Pawniard takes evasive maneuvers and dodges to the right for the first wave of stings. Another wave of stings began to target the Pawniard who began to dodge to the left before grinning under the darkness of his helmet... Taking the Poison sting attack straight on, the Weedle smirking before noticing the poison type attack literally bouncing off of Zeri's hard steel body... probably this is the Pokemon's first time attacking a Steel type pokemon. This startles the Weedle enough that it launches itself at Zeri with a primitive tackle attack... Zeri grins slightly as the Weedle draws near and collides with him, his right arm instantly flowing down to knock the pokemon to the ground, moderate damage done to Weedle while minimal damage done to himself.

Zeri glared harshly down at Weedle, growling as he twists his left arm in a way to take a golfer's swing at the Weedle with his Psycho cut, but at the last moment a String Shot that had been carefully aimed hit the tip of Zeri's blade to stick it directly to the ground, causing the attack to fail as the Weedle back away from the strange poison resistant pokemon.

The Weedle crawled onto Acro's tail as Acro prepared a wing attack for the Cacnea. The weedle startled Acro, causing him to whirl around and use wing attack on the weedle. The weedle was flung back toward Zeriq, the weedle tried to use the momentum he had gotten form being flung by the attack and flew towards Zeriq with a normal tackle.

The Cacnea silently thanked the weedle for distracting the archen as he hit Acro with a Dynamic Punch he had learned from his parents. He smirked in triumph as the Archen was sent into a tree, and laughed when the prehistoric bird slid comically down the tree and stood up. He tottered about, confused. The cacnea no longer saw Acro as a threat and moved towards Zeri with a dynamic punch charging up.

With his blade stuck to the ground, Zeri was as good as a stuck Psyduck with a Gyarados staring directly at him, the Pawniard staring directly at the poisonous bug as it gets launched back at him with the wing attack. Even with the strength of the attack, the Weedle was still flying at him in a way he could only figure was a Tackle, a basic move that would be only stronger due to the speed it was flying at him, and the assumption was correct as it collides with the Pawniard's body, the Tackle's speed making the damage output almost effective, thank Dialga Zeri was born a Pawniard.

With the powered up Tackle, it was barely enough for the webbing on Zeri's blade to give way so he could tumble back, quickly getting back on his feet as he charges up another Psycho Cut on his left arm, taking a few steps back to gain enough speed before charging back up to Weedle, swinging his left arm in a horizontal arc for its head...

"SHIKAI!!! PSYCHO CUT!!"

With a quick lunge and a horizontal arc, Weedle took a hard hit by the Psycho Cut taking the double damage for the super effective move and being sent flying backwards into a tree, falling to the ground without a twitch.

Acro tottered uselessly about trying to understand what was going on. He looked at Zeri and mistook him for the Cacnea because of the confusion. He ran at the "Cacnea" with a wing attack prepared. He lowered his wing and charged toward Zeri as fast as he could, aiming for his stomach, which he though was the Cacnea's head. His mind couldn't register that he was confused and thought he was aiming for the correct pokemon.

The cacnea chuckled at the Archen attacked it's ally, it had planned this. It powered up another dynamic punch and waited for an opening in the Pawinard. He wanted to make them both confused and attack each other. Make them knock themselves out and finish whoever was left standing. He couldn't wait to see the despair in their eyes as they realized what they had done if his plan worked. He felt a sense of victory creep into him, 'I'm going to do this!' he thought.

The archen was about to collide with Zeri but stopped and accidentally hit himself in confusion. He hit himself quite a few times again, this time on purpose to try and prevent himself from hurting the innocent pokemon. He had realized that he was confused! He hit himself once more and felt the confusion disappear.

The Cacnea had used a Dynamic Punch on the Archen, a fighting type move on this pokemon wasn't much of a threat, but it was still uber effective on Zeri. Getting into a battle stance before both of his claws begin to glow white with dual prepared scratch attacks before he noticed Acro running straight for him, the punch must have confused him. Zeri kept a close eye on Acro as he neared him getting ready to use his scratch attacks on him instead if it came to that... until he stopped infront of Zeri and began smacking himself in his confusion... Zeri blinks as a response to that.

With Acro occupied with hitting himself, Zeri quickly dashes to the left and makes his way to Cacnea, watching the pokemon's arms closely for any sign of the Dynamic Punch... he could probably handle a few hits from those, but he didn't want to become too weak at the time... the storm was fast approaching, the wind picking up as the last few rays of sunlight began to sink below the horizon... the darkness wouldn't effect Zeri's vision that much, but he didn't know about Acro.

Closing in on the Cacnea, Zeri sees it charging a Dynamic Punch and prepares to hit the encroaching Pawniard as hard as it could. The punch was quick in its use, the fist uppercutting towards Z's head as he came within range, but the Pawniard decides at the last minute to stop and skid back a bit for the attack to miss by a hair's width, leaving Zeri enough room to come in and jump up over Cacnea, hitting it on the back of the head with the first use of Scratch. Landing not too far back, he takes advantage of the confusion and hits Cacnea on the back with the second use of Scratch.

Acro shook the confusion off, he had regained his senses enough to see the real cancea rushing toward Zeri. He was about to call out and warn Zeri when he saw that the Zeri wasn't in much danger currently. Acro decided to use a clever trick he had thought of a few days ago when he was battling with his partner. He ran toward Zeri, he made it seem like he was running away. When he passed by Zeri he asked, "Try to keep it in one spot." in a whisper so the Cacnea wouldn't overhear. He began climbing the closest tree and hoped that the pawniard would cooperate.

His plan was that he would make the Cacnea think that the pawinard was now alone and he was at an advantage. The cacnea would hopefully become arrogant and become less rushed in trying to defeat his opponent. While Zeri kept the Cacnea in a single spot, Acro would be at the top, waiting. When he saw the right moment he would leap off the tree and use wing attack. The gravity would make his attack hit harder and deal more damage to the unfortunate cacnea.

The cacnea laughed as the archen ran away, he was now against a pokemon he had a type advantage move against. He powered up another dynamic punch while smiling crookedly with glee. The pawniard was alone, and if he managed to make it confused, the pawinard would be helpless. It waited for the pawinard to make it's move, ready to counter with it's powerful punch.

Acro had begun to run towards a tree, Zeri's world turning red as the rage in his head was beginning to take control of his actions... the black fog of his pressure thickening around the area as his pupils become small. Cacnea turned to look at the Pawniard, panting heavily in the early stages of fatigue brought about from using his Dynamic Punch on Zeri... it didn't act like this when using it on Acro but... Cacnea notices the darkness surrounding it with a bit of fear, the Pawniard he was fighting had the Pressure ability, and it was causing him to use up more energy on attacking... this was bad, Cacnea had to think quickly if it was going to win this fight, looking around, but finding nothing...

Zeri saw the confusion on the Cacnea's face, grinning as he gets in close ans makes a strike out with his blade, hitting the Cacnea out of its trance, it striking out with its spiny arm to hit Zeri... it looked like a regular DragonBall moment as they began trading blow for blow of regular attacks. Zeri's grin widens as the black fog surrounding them grows darker, he was truly enjoying himself as he battled this pokemon with everything he had, it was strong but due to his steel body the blows were mostly ineffective against him.

The battle drug on as Zeri continued his onslaught on the Cacnea, stopping short of laughing manically as his blades cut the grass pokemon's body all over while his own has some bruises here and there from the cactus arms but nothing too serious.

"I am going to feast pleasurably upon your fallen corpse!!

A small laugh comes from Zeri as he comes up from underneath the Cacnea with a straight up bladed cut... but the pokemon anticipated this and had a charged up Dynamic Punch awaiting for Zeri, the first coming down for Zeri's face... but then....

Acro waited impatiently from above in the tree tops as the two fought. He watched them exchange blows and weaken the Cacnea. He grew intimidated by Zeri's laughing. He had never seen a pokemon love to fight so much! He didn't enjoy fighting himself, he would have preferred not to fight at all if possible. He knew that his daydreaming about peace were useless, these pokemon were wild and feral. They deserved a good beat down.

He followed them as they moved around a tiny bit, he was growing annoyed by Cacnea's refusal to sit still. He finally saw a chance, the cacnea was about to hit Zeri with it's powerful move. He leaped from the branch and let gravity steal his body. He dove down at the unsuspecting cacnea, his wing out and prepared for a wing attack. The descent caused the wind to ruffle his feathers, only a slight annoyance compared to the cacnea. Acro smashed into the cacnea like a missile and leaped a few feet back in case the cacnea was still able to battle.

The cacnea screamed in pain and backed away from the duo. It held it's head and collapsed, not even twitching. Acro made his routine sigh of relief after a battle and turned to Zeri.

"You okay?"

His wing was a bit sore from the impact but it didn't bother him much. A minor bruise is nothing compared to what else could have gone horribly wrong during the battle.

Zeri pants slightly as he looks down at the now unconscious Cacnea, taking a few steps back before sitting down on his bum, leaning back on his sheathed blades with a loud exhale of breath as he begins to relax and regain his energy. He rolls his shoulders before taking a look around to see the Weedle way off against a tree, having been knocked out cold by the Psycho Cut he used... it was a tough battle, indeed there were tough pokemon this far out from his tribal lands.

The winds began to pick up once more, the clouds hanging overhead were beginning to let out their payload, small drizzles of water were falling on top of the victorious duo. Zeri looks to Acro before standing up and dusting himself off, smiling under his mask and pointing to his den under the tree...

"It's going to get worse before it gets better, plus with the night coming it won't be safe to travel about, it seems the more ferocious Pokemon come out once the sun leaves us."

Zeri makes his way to the Den under the tree, stopping to pick up the apple he had used as a shield against the string shot earlier, wiping off the strands of wedding with a look of disgust... he'd rather eat the Weedle or the Cacnea, but since there was another around the apple would be good enough. In a few more movements, Zeri was at the entrance to the den, looking back to Acro and quickly waving the ancient bird over.

Acro found that he had stepped on something, he looked down at the mud and found a cacnea spike. He looked to the cacnea and picked it up without a word, he would give this to Zeri. He quickly ran in the den, the water beginning to bother him. Being a rock type made him hate water, water also made his feathers wet and heavy, ultimately making him slower. He shook the water drops off of him before entering the den. He held out the spike to Zeri.

"I think you should have this."

Acro had noticed the battle had been hard for Zeri, so he figured that the pawinard was a lower level then him. He noticed that his tail was still outside, he grabbed it and brought it in and wrapped it around him. The battle wasn't extremely difficult for him, but it was tough. He looked at the apple that the pawniard was about to eat, he decided that he wasn't hungry and ignored it. The rain had begun to pound like drums outside, it struck the leaves and created streams and smaller drops. The sound was almost musical.

"Its strange how such a dangerous element could be so peaceful sounding." he said aloud. He looked to the pawinard and asked, "Been out on your own for long?" he asked.

The Archen handed Zeri what looked to be a Cacnea Spike, must have fallen off when the pokemon had battered Zeri... he gladly accepts it and puts it in the ground inside the den. Taking the apple, Zeri uses his blade to cut it in half and hands the other to Acro so he could have something to eat at least this night...

"Been out on your own for long?"

Z looked back at Acro when he was asked the question, sitting on at the entrance to the den before looking up at the sky as the rain begins to flow down a little bit harder, the winds in the area picking up to a slightly annoying speed. How long had it been now since he was abandoned by his tribe, his thoughts drift to the few friends he had within his people... how they easily left him behind to fend for himself...

"I guess it's been maybe a week now since I was left behind by my tribe... but I've always been truly on my own I guess; hunted on my own, foraged on my own, fought on my own. The Bisharp that led our tribe didn't really like me cause my father was an outsider from us."

Zeri shrugged slightly before taking a bite from his half of the apple, staring up at the sky and watches the rain come down... not bothered by the wet of water really as his body was made of steel and not stone. not too much bothered him really...he continues to munch on the apple as the rain pelts down more harshly, the sound relaxing in its own way with the winds driving the water onto Zeri.

Acro nodded a bit, understanding just a little. He thought about how he used to be before he had met his partner.

"I used to be on my own too." he said, "My mother knocked me off the nest at an early age and i was all by myself until recently when I met my partner George. We became a rescue team together and we've been exploring places and meeting different pokemon ever since. If not for him, I would have been running far from here because of how intimidating you look."

Acro thanked the pawinard and took the apple, thinking it rude to not accept the food offered to him by his host. He stretched his wing a bit and carried the apple in one hand. That final move was beginning to take a toll on his wing.

"Have to stop doing that..." he thought.

His wing was bruised and some cuts were made from the cacnea's spikes. His defense scarf is probably the only thing that kept him from breaking his wing. He noticed that the pawinard was letting the rain touch him, he shivered. He hated yet loved it at the same time, he hated being a rock pokemon sometimes. Being an Archen had it's up and downs, mostly downs. He couldn't fly, he couldn't float, and he couldn't stay in the rain without becoming annoyed by the water.
