Exploration Through The Endless Cave

A wide eyed Munchlax stood besides an Absol, taking in the view of the gaping hole of the chasm "Wow... this place must be huge" Lax thought out loud, a small droplet of water dripped from the ceiling and onto Lax's head "Ah!" He jumped, before noticing that it was just water that dropped onto his head.

"Oh just water!" He chortled, looking at the stalagmites and stalactites "Have you been here before, Shiro?" He inquired, turning to his fellow explorer

"Not long. He's more powerful than I thought..." she frowned, maneuvering her one paw to try and pin down one of the Crobat's wings in order to give Lax more time to up his attack and choose a course of action. The Absol mentally cursed herself for not being stronger. If she were, she would have been able to deal a more substantial blow to the Crobat rather than just pinning him down temporarily.

"Right... let it go....." He charged at the crobat using his tackle attack "Now!"

The crobat escaped Tsukishiro's grasp, only to be hit hard by the munchlax's tackle attack, the crobat was sent flying into the cave wall, it looked as if it had fainted but barely got up struggling to stay awake

Tsukishiro let go of the Crobat, quickly moving away so as to avid Lax's powered up Tackle move. Sighing in relief as the Crobat was hit, the Absol watched as it struggled to get back up. Her claws glowing, Tsukishiro leaped towards the Crobat once more, planning to defeat it with a quick Scratch move.

Shiro then turned around and padded over to collect the Warp Seed she had spotted earlier on. Picking it up, she tucked it away into her Treasure bag. Hopefully it would come in handy later.

The crobat fainted after the attack, but it had seemed to have had hold of something.

"That was awesome, thanks Shiro, if you weren't here I wouldn't have stood a chance!" He chortled before looking over the Crobat "But in all seriousness if we hadn't have done that it would've been a lot tougher.." Something caught the munchlax's eye "Hey... it was holding something.."

"You're welcome," she smiled, "After all it's my job to help out others."
The Absol chuckled, before looking back at the Crobat.

"You're right. Looks like he's holding an Oran Berry," she blinked, moving over to where the blue berry had landed after the Crobat had dropped it. Picking it up using the leaves on the top, she brought it back over to Lax.

"Here. You take it," she smiled.

The munchlax grinned happily at the gift "Thanks! Next thing we find ya can have it " He took the berry gratefully and nested it in his fur "Onwards! Fellow adventurer!" He marched on in a comical fashion, as if the army would

Tsukishiro chuckled before following the Munchlax. She paused for a moment, blinking before she turned back.

"Hold on a moment!" she cried, bounding over to the torch that still lay on the ground. Because of the rocky surface it hadn't particularly burned anything, though the flame was dimming due to the damp environment. Shiro just hoped that they wouldn't run out of light before they reached the exit.

Grasping the base of the torch in her jaws, she padded back over to Lax and gently placed it in front of him. It was easier for the Munchlax to carry it as Tsukishiro wouldn't be able to speak if she carried it in her jaws.

"Oh, I totally forgot!" He laughed before taking the torch, it was still lit, but not as bright as it was before the battle, he held it forward once again and trotted onwards looking around at his surroundings.

He had never been in a cave before, even though he had done a lot of adventuring.

"Say... what's Grassveil town like? Is it huge? I've never been there myself"

"It's larger than you would expect," she replied, grinning as she thought about how much her life had progressed since she had traveled there. She felt like she was doing something worthwhile now, rather than just living out her days brawling with her fellow Absol on the mountain.
"Though I guess that's mostly because of the amount of Pokemon the Guild attracts. Some come to become members, other because they know it's where they can get the help they need."
She paused before turning to Lax, "So where do you come from?" she asked.

"Wow Grassveil sounds amazing... I haven't even visited yet, but I come from Icicle Woods... it was supposedly very cold there" He rubs his belly "But thanks to my ability, Thick Fat it was only a tiny bit chilly" He grinned at Tsukishiro "I love adventuring but... I don't want to go into grassveil and join the guild alone. I know it sounds stupid but I guess I've gotten used to being around people lately"

Tsukishiro smiled, "I'm quite used to colder temperatures too... though I had my fur to protect me from the mountain climate."

The Absol then proceeded to listen as Lax described his aim for going to Grassveil.
"I guess I know how you feel..." she said before pausing, "Every mission I've done so far, I've met someone who has helped me along with it. I can't help but wonder if i'll be as successful if I ever do one completely alone."

"You'll do great! I mean without you I'd be zonked out already" He gave Shiro a reassuring smile, followed by a thumbs up "You will be an A rate explorer before ya know it" Lax put his hand behind his head while grinning and closing his eyes "But not before me!" He joked while laughing

Tsukishiro chuckled and smiled as Lax tried to give her some confidence in her own abilities.
"Well I guess we'll just have to see about that," she replied good-naturedly. After this she fell silent, the drips of liquid from the cave roof and their footsteps the only things to be heard for a short moment or two.

"What's that?" asked Shiro, nodding to something on the ground up ahead. It was grey in colour and was shaped like a bean. As the Absol moved closer, she recognised it as a Grey Gummi.
